I love when one character is so intelligent or beautiful or charming that they keep pulling the other back to them, but no matter what they do they can never see any deeper meaning in the other’s words

I love when a character is so intimately familiar with violence and aggression that intensity is all they know, but no matter what they do they never see that intensity reflected back at them by the other

And most of all I love when these characters collide - when intensity meets meaning and it’s like meeting your soulmate. They realize in an instant that it has always been them. It would always be them.
