Design of anti-shrinkage mark mechanism for injection mold of SAIC-GM bumper
With development of automobile industry, consumers have higher and higher requirements for appearance quality of automobiles. One of important functions of automobile plastic parts is to play a surface decoration role, so surface quality requirements of automobile plastic parts are also more stringent. Shrinkage marks are local depressions formed on the surface of plastic parts, which are one of…

a masterlist for lifting UK shops 🏋‍♂️🏋‍♂️
thought id give some love for fellow UK lifters (i will update this regularly)
Sup3rmärķets (TESCO, Aldi, Lidl etc): easy pickings, great for beginners. often LP and beeping gates. cart walk outs are quite difficult because they tend to have the exits blocked off to only if u buy stuff 🏋‍♂️
br@ndy mel1ll (covent garden): mayhem. so busy. workers dont even care so do it on shop floor because they THOROUGHLY check changing rooms. they have LP. nothing is tagged so just sneak it in your shopping bag.
f0rb1dd3n plan3t: slipped a manga under leather jacket EZ
gl0ss13r: impossible because all items u have to ask staff to get from the back. only stuff out is testers and alot of LP. dont even try.
bandai namco camden store: quite easy got so much japanese stationery and figures. the figures were tagged but the alarms didnt go off. got at least 100 in there and staff didnt give a damn! sleeve conceal most and hust drop in bag for rest (i was beeping in other shops LOL)
muji: quite easy, some lp and stationery is just a sleeve conceal!
Sûp3rdrug and Bóöts: multiple LP on medium alert but SUPERSUPERR easy as long as u conceal in a blind spot. my first lift was here 😭👍 sleeve conceal for small items like lipsticks and eyeliner but i like to kneel and pretend to look at products then shove one in my tote for bigger items like shampoos and hair gels!
ĥ&M: easy. most cheap clothes aren't tagged and fitting rooms are only monitered on busy weekends. staff are pretty chill.
Prîmãrk: slightly chill staff, tons of LP and fitting rooms HIGHLY monitored. they search through clothes super thoroughly and will get mad if u try to hide anything. however, their makeups accessories are sooo easy great for beginners.
Süp3rdrỳ: all clothes is tagged, multiple LP around the store and unmonitored fitting rooms but the fitting rooms tend to be near the checkout. only lifted once from here because its not normally busy but staff was definetly suspicious of me. dont reccomend for newbies.
ĥmv: multiple LPs and staff but the staff are so chill someone saw me and did nothing. i normlly sleeve conceal small blind bags or knick nacks and just stuff it in my bag at a blindspot for bigger boxed figurines and manga. some items have rfdi. sliipped a cd under armpit under jacket so EZ
wâterst0ņes: never busy, normally no LP and only staff are at the till or shelving. some items have rfdi.
sp0řțs dîrêct: unmonitored changing rooms and busy staff helpinf customers 24/7 most items have tags. always prettu busy
uřban oûtfittēřs: monitored changing rooms, LP and staff. all items are tagged so bring tools. some have magnet detectors. always busy
urban outfitter tag: (no clue what this is but my magnet wasnt strong enough, howver someties their buzzing machines dont work so u can just walk out with it)
Tumblr media
Lûsĥ: no rfdi, pretty busy. lots of staff who will ask to help you out. no LP. no buzzing machines
Tỳpö: no LP, rarely rfdi, few staff, pretty easy to sleave small items like washi tape and pens.
The flying tiger: really easy, no LP, no rfdi and few staff. however normally busy and its full of millenials who WILL rat u out if they see.
miniso: quite easy but lots of staff. just drop in bag and come when its early.

the driver's side window lifter in my car has been broken for months and i ignored it because i didn't need to open it all winter anyway whatever so i forgot about it until yesterday when i stopped by the ticket machine of a parking lot, gate closed ahead of me and another car behind me, drove too close to the side to open my door out of habit and i have no manual crank to roll the window down either, out of refusal to accept the situation i tried the electric button again anyway for the fiftieth time and you won't believe it it worked. window came down smoothly all the way as if it were never a problem. cars are living beings and they will self repair and help you in the nick of time if they're loved and bonded to you. moral of the story: there was a sewer man.

Steins;Gate fixation (SPOILERS)
CW STEINS;GATE SPOILERS Also disclaimer to any onlookers that I myself have only seen the anime and achieved 4/6 endings in the visual novel: Suzuha, Faris, Luka, and Mayuri. So I am still quite a way away I feel from having everything in place but I really want to talk about this so I'll do that just, please no spoilers for me please. One thing i really like about Steins;Gate is like the role everyone plays. The entire story of the IBN 5100 is cool because first Suzuha time travels to get an IBN, who also owns the building so that Okarin has a place to stay to work on the PhoneWave. She gives that machine to Faris, who donates it to Yanabayashi Shrine to Luka, but Moeka steals it... all the choices of Steins;Gate And also the development of the PhoneWave. Like everyone is in a sense all part of this cosmic arrangement to the critical plan. It's not just Kurisu and Daru doing work. While Okarin comes off a bit clueless, he somehow gets the key moments of inspiration in its development using the pieces already in place. Daru does the tech, Kurisu the science but Hououin is the planner. It's not just that too: Mayuri plays the role in like keeping everything running smoothly and 'guiding' Okarin down the right path, and I have my own current theories on the extent thats planned and something is known and the choice of Steins;Gate. And to ensure the pieces in place, the building needs to be owned and set in place so the lifter from the CRT TVs can work, which needs both Mr. Braun to be in the building and Suzuha to have owned it in the past. And I believe it to be set in place by him himself, by using knowledge he learned and gained through tribulations to feed back to him to arrange the conditions right, implant his mind in Okarin as Hououin Kyouma which causes a bit of personality disorder but allows to capture all this. By this manner, he is able to disguise what he really knows with what appears as delusion, so that no one gives it a second thought. It's a cosmic coincidence, as the beautiful VN opening says. You start with this idea that Okarin is completely delusional, but things start to add that everything is in right place where the past Okarin himself doesn't know whats going on. But that in itself is essential to future Hououins grand plan. Arrange everyone and everything in the right place, relaying back to him in the future in some manner. All the 'delusion' is a masquerade to the grand truth known. That the one that is god is him, but not in the sense of overpowered but one willing to arrange things to change the world. And I get so much giddiness over Hououin Kyouma going mad scientist mode and embracing over his moments. What I love is you see this kind of thing with characters like LeLouch all the time. But the difference to me is the long term context, the amount of tribulation, and how *no one* could have seen it coming. He makes a facade for everyone including himself because thats the only way it could work. Its, gah, its so fucking good. But its not like he is an evil genius, he deceives for greater good. He *cares* about the people and the world. He is fighting a completely different battle, not one of power but of perfecting the conditions again two powerful enemies: the government and SERN. I don't even have 100% confirmation this is what is going on or to what extent although I do know this is the general idea due to the anime, but I have a *prediction* and I'll be really indulgent and giddy seeing it come to fruition.

OFMD, racism, and the omission of slavery
TLDR: There's great consensus that Our Flag Means Death knocks it out of the park depicting queer lived experience. That it is a show by queers for queers. There's no such consensus that OFMD does the same for racialized identities. I firmly believe that it does, and that the contention comes from white fans publicly Not Getting It, and fans of color feeling frustrated by that. There's a strain of criticism from viewers of color that wishes OFMD had gone harder on racism (especially wanting it to have named racialized chattel slavery as the source of Stede's wealth), and while I sympathize with that wish, I'm not sure I need to see it in my cozy gay pirate romance, not least because I'm not sure it would do much to change white fans' behaviors. Ultimately, I don't need the extra pain for a reward that is unlikely to materialize.
Writing out my answer to Day 4 of the 30 Day OFMD Challenge/Countdown to Season 2, "Reasons you like OFMD," made me articulate some of my thoughts on the show's ("gently, brutally realistic," in my words) handling of racism vs its near omission of the racialized chattel slavery that defined the economy it takes place in.
I understand and sympathize with the criticism that the show does not at least name slavery as the source of Stede's wealth. At some level I do want the show to at least that do that, and I feel disappointment that it doesn't. Or hasn't yet, and regardless of whether it does so in season 2, that it didn't do it out of the gate. It would have been, weirdly, an easy mention to include.
Take the piano lifters in S1E10. One of them says that they're being "paid" only to lift the piano halfway. I can understand this as an illustration that there were free people of color in Bridgetown, but I don't think the show at that point has addressed the pervasiveness of slavery directly enough to earn that beat, if that's what the writers were going for. Either they needed to have named the source of wealth in the society well before that, or they missed an opportunity to do it here. The line could have been "We don't have to get it in the window, only lift it halfway up. Master's orders," and cut to Stede. Maybe even Stede looking queasy (about something else). That would have done the trick.
The other moments when the show addresses slavery are much less oblique than my charitable reading of the paid workmen: Olu telling Stede he has no alternative to piracy; Frenchie and Roach dipping on "Man for sale!"; the British officer calling Frenchie a slave; Frenchie having been "in service;" the aristos at the boat party having slaves explicitly so-called on board; and Ed punching Izzy partly for buying him (and to Izzy's one great credit, him admitting that was fair).
When it comes to racism beyond slavery, OFMD gives us so, so much. Ed's public image. Every last damn thing about S1E5. Ed's relationship with Izzy. Ed's relationship with Frenchie. Ed's relationship with Fang. Lucius and Fang's first flirtation. Fang, Fang, Fang. Ed's backstory. Jack's gross fucking nickname for Ed. Stede's obliviousness and the ways it evolves. The ways the crew interacts with the outside world, sometimes down to how they are positioned in a shot, or absent from a discussion. The natives on shipwreck island. The ways the show chooses to maintain historical accuracy in casting (a pirate show allows for so much diversity and they use that so effectively) and the ways it chooses to upend them (Taika as Ed, Ashna Sharan as The Widow Ellen Conroy--both of which serve to highlight that British colonial destruction extended well beyond the period when the show is set).
Here's the thing: I don't think OFMD is any less direct in addressing racism than it is in addressing anti-queerness, especially given that racial identity is a secondary theme in the show. The most explicit and physically violent act of anti-queerness we see is young Stede and the rowboat incident. I feel that S1E5 is at least as explicit (it's certainly as breathtaking and nauseating for me) about racism and, to be fair, chattel slavery. We don't see someone killed for their for queerness, and we don't see enslaved people whipped in a field, and we don't need to. I'm glad we don't. We know those things are there, out of frame; we're over here vibing with our escapees and living out their revenge fantasies, and if we feel survivor's guilt, well. Who among us doesn't have experience dealing with that?
What I do think happened is that OFMD's target audience, queers, know to look for all the queer coding and subtext and situations and antagonisms and joys and diversity and lived experiences and revenge fantasies that the show so plentifully offers. It offers very nearly as rich a banquet for those of us who have lacked seeing the lived experience of racialized identity depicted that deeply onscreen--but white queers, who are the bulk of the audience, generally don't know how to see that. And boy, are they vocal about the many, many ways in which they miss the point. And so I can understand wishing that the show had bashed them over the head with the Slavery is Foundational and Racism is Bad sticks just a little bit harder. I just--don't need to watch it in my cozy, gay pirate romcom. I don't need the extra pain, and I don't think me seeing it would change white fans' behavior much at all. There's plenty of other media out there that has as its whole point, Slavery == Evil and Racism Kills. If white viewers of OFMD haven't gotten that message already elsewhere, they're not going to get it here. And I don't need their obtuseness shaping my comfort show to their needs.

Injection Molding Design Guidelines
1. Introduction
Injection molding is a widely used manufacturing process for producing plastic parts with high precision and efficiency. To ensure successful and cost-effective production, it is crucial to follow proper design guidelines for injection molding. In this blog, we will explore the key considerations and guidelines that designers should keep in mind when designing parts for injection molding.
2. Understanding Injection Molding Process
A. Overview of Injection Molding
Injection molding is a widely used manufacturing method due to its versatility, speed, and accuracy. It can produce complex geometries and intricate details with minimal material waste. The process is suitable for a broad range of materials, including thermoplastics, thermosets, and even some metals.
B. Key Components of Injection Molding Machine
An injection molding machine comprises several key components, such as the clamp unit, injection unit, control system, and heating and cooling systems. The clamp unit holds the mold in place and applies pressure to keep it closed during the injection and cooling phases. The injection unit is responsible for melting the plastic and injecting it into the mold cavity.
C. Basic Steps in Injection Molding Process
The injection molding process typically involves several steps, including clamping, injection, cooling, ejection, and mold opening. These steps are repeated for each cycle, resulting in the production of a large number of identical parts.
Tumblr media
3. Design Guidelines for Injection Molding
To ensure successful injection molding production, it is essential to follow certain design guidelines. These guidelines help optimize the part design for manufacturability, reduce defects, and improve overall production efficiency. Let's explore some key design guidelines for injection molding:
A. Wall Thickness: Maintaining uniform wall thickness is crucial to prevent warping, sink marks, and other defects. The recommended wall thickness range typically falls between 0.5mm and 3mm, depending on the material and part requirements. Avoiding thin and thick wall sections is important to ensure consistent cooling and reduce stress concentrations.
Tumblr media
B. Draft Angle: Draft angles facilitate easier ejection of the molded part from the mold cavity. Typical draft angles range from 0.5° to 2°, and their application depends on factors like material type, wall thickness, and texture requirements. Considerations for draft angle placement include minimizing visible impact on part aesthetics and ensuring uniformity to avoid warping.
Tumblr media
C. Ribs and Bosses: Ribs provide structural support without adding significant weight, while bosses are used to mount components or fastenings. Design guidelines for ribs include limiting their height, adding fillets to stress concentrations, and maintaining uniform wall thickness transition. Effective boss design considers factors like boss height, diameter, and location to ensure adequate strength and minimize material stress.
Tumblr media
D. Fillets and Corner Radii: Fillets and corner radii help distribute stress evenly, reducing the likelihood of cracks or fractures. Recommended sizes for fillets and corner radii depend on the wall thickness and material properties. Benefits of radiused corners include improved strength, easier mold flow, and reduced stress concentrations.
Tumblr media
E. Gate Position: Proper gate position ensures efficient molten plastic flow into the mold cavity, minimizing turbulence and air entrapment. Gate locations should be strategically chosen to promote balanced filling, reduce sink marks, and minimize visible gate marks on the final part. Gate design considerations include gate type, size, and orientation relative to part features.
Tumblr media
F. Undercuts and Side Actions: Undercuts are features that prevent the part from being ejected straight out of the mold. Design strategies for undercuts involve creating slides or lifters to allow for part removal. Side actions, such as cam mechanisms or旋转cores, can also be incorporated into the mold design to facilitate complex part geometries and undercuts.
Tumblr media
G. Parting Lines and Ejection: Parting lines are visible lines on the final product where the mold halves meet. Determining optimal parting lines requires considering factors like part aesthetics, functionality, and ease of mold assembly. Ejection methods, such as ejector pins or air ejection, should be carefully selected and positioned to avoid damage to the part during ejection.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
A. Collaborating with Molders and Toolmakers
Engage molders/toolmakers early in design process before tool production. Understand their capabilities and limitations to avoid issues down the road. Incorporate process and material experts' feedback into design revisions.
B. Prototyping and Testing
Rapidly test designs using 3D printing or machined prototypes. Evaluate fill patterns, strengths, dimensional stability with sample parts. Refine designs based on what's easy/difficult to mold. Simulate productions processes to catch issues early.
C. Iterative Design Process
DFM involves continual evaluation and optimization. Make small, incremental changes verified through prototyping. Multiple design-test cycles lead to robust, manufacturable parts. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve problems at design stage.
D. Design Validation and Optimization
Establish tolerance standards and test plans for validation. Conduct final molding trials with production intent materials. Collect process data and finished part metrics. Quantitatively measure how designs meet engineering targets. Further enhance designs based on test results and production experience.
5. Conclusion
Designing parts for injection molding requires careful consideration of various factors to ensure successful production and high-quality end products. By following the design guidelines outlined in this blog, designers can optimize their designs for the injection molding process, minimize manufacturing issues, and achieve cost-effective production. Collaboration with experienced injection mold maker and Alpine mold, along with proper prototyping and testing, will further enhance the design process and lead to improved manufacturability. Remember, a well-designed part is the foundation for a successful injection molding process.

8 Ideas to Increase an Injection Moulding Machine’s Lifespan
The molten material is injected under high pressure into metal moulds during injection moulding. Once it has sufficiently cooled, the completed portion is immediately removed. The procedure is highly automated and can produce vast quantities of goods, particularly plastic components. To produce these high volumes, injection moulding equipment must undergo routine preventative maintenance. To maintain tools and inspection machines prepared for manufacturing, mould maintenance is essential. Moulds that are not properly maintained may produce parts that do not meet standards, leading to additional downtime, raw material waste, and financial consequences.
This article describes some essential things for an injection mould maintenance checklist.
Table of Contents
1. Tonnage
2. Low Pressure Close
3. Set Up Core
4. Mould Open and Close
5. Ejection Set Up
6. Hot Runners and Valve Gates
7. Mould Watering
8. Cleaning and Care
In conclusion,
1. Tonnage
Make sure you are using the right amount of tonnage for each mould. Injection pressure can surpass the required tonnage requirements and blow open the mould if an operator uses too little tonnage. If a user applies too much force, the injection moulding machine will compress the tool’s separating lines, vent areas, and mould components.
Use the formula below to calculate the correct tonnage for each mould to prevent these scenarios:
Cavity Area = Mould Face Length x Width (in/2)
Cavity Area (Pa) = # of Cavities Parts Area (Pa)
Parts Area *(T) = Tonnage (T) = 3 tons/in2.
2. Low Pressure Close
Install a low-pressure closure (LPC) on the press to safeguard the mould. The high-pressure lock-up setting should be no more than 0.05 above the actual mould touch location. Additionally, cycle the mould to lower LPC pressure till it doesn’t lock up. Slowly increasing pressure gives the mould enough pressure to change from low-pressure to high-pressure lock up. Additionally, set the mould close timer to 0.5 seconds longer than the necessary mould close time. Set the mould close timer to 1.26 seconds, for instance, if the actual mould close duration is 0.76 seconds.
3. Set Up Core
Adapt core pressures and speeds to the demands of the application. Remember for inspection machines, speed does not affect pressure set points, but pressure might limit speed. To avoid crash circumstances, fire cores are based on position rather than time. Cycle speed is impacted by core functioning. Keep a close eye on core functioning to spot any indications that parts are pulling or setting irregularly.
4. Mould Open and Close
Clamp speeds undoubtedly influence cycle time, although more incredible speeds are not always preferable because they risk damaging or wearing out the tools. Look for lunging at close, rapid speeds that could lead to mould drop and possible pin and component misalignment. Ensure that the change from close fast to close slow is seamless and that the close slow condition happens right before the component/pin matches up. Ensure the transition between the mould open fast segment and the mould breakaway phase is seamless. The open fast segment should happen after all components have passed through the pins.
5. Ejection Set Up
By over-stroking or ejecting pieces improperly, which causes them to jam between mould halves, incorrect set points might damage the life of the mould. Determine the necessary separation for properly removing components from the mould before establishing forward positions. Ejector pins and lifters endure too much stress from over-stroking. Never should bottoming out the ejector plate be necessary for part extraction. Ensure pressure set points only employ the necessary amount to reduce stress on ejection components.
6. Hot Runners and Valve Gates
Mould life is affected by start-up and shutdown procedures. Poor start-ups result in over-packed cavities that need mould removal and maintenance. Manually fire valve gates to ensure appropriate setup and functional condition before starting any components. To ensure the hot runner drops are heated and ready for start-up, purge plastic through them. Run the barrel dry during hot runner shutdown, then promptly lower hot runner temperatures to lessen the chance of degradation.
7. Mould Watering
Limit mould temperatures to the bare minimum necessary for acceptable part aesthetics because higher mould temperatures might negatively influence mould life. Additionally, make sure there is no more than a 20 F difference in temperature between the stationary and moving mould portions. Temperatures over this range result in poor tool mating and incorrect heat soak conditions, both of which harm the tool. To avoid installing a mould incorrectly, clearly mark circuits and supply and return requirements.
8. Cleaning and Care
Injection moulding machine should always be inspected, cleaned, and greased at least once each shift in production environments. Look for wear indicators like metal shavings, burrs, galling, and parting line wear. To set preventative maintenance frequencies that will aid in reducing unplanned service events, create a regular preventative maintenance schedule, maintain mould service records, and examine recurring service/repair events.
Check to see that the slides are operating correctly and that the slide slots are lubricated. Keep an eye out for loose gibs and detent failure symptoms. After each cleaning and inspection, ensure the slide locations are accurate before leaving the mould. When a mould won’t be used for more than six hours, use a rust preventative and extensively coat textured and glossy parts to guard against rust damage.
In conclusion,
Prolonging the life of your injection moulding machine is a wise investment in efficiency and sustainability, as well as a way to reduce costs. You can ensure that your machine keeps performing at its best for years by putting the concepts covered in this article into practice, such as routine maintenance, appropriate training, and technology upgrades. By extending its lifespan, you may improve productivity while minimising downtime, lessening your impact on the environment, and maintaining the competitiveness of your manufacturing operations in a market that is changing quickly.

Over the Weekend: Training Maxes
Over the weekend, Dani and I worked on my training maxes.
It was a long time coming and delaying it further was starting to make me antsy - rightfully so as knowing my training maxes would solidify my working sets and let me actually progress while working within my strength range - away from injuries and ego lifting.
It was interesting to know that I had more in my tank than I assumed. Interesting, but not really surprising as I pride myself in being a conservative lifter albeit it not really being a badge of honor or a good flex.
I had an ambitious goal to train all maxes within one gym session. It appeared ambitious mostly because I was naive. I didn't anticipate not having the energy for such a long session. I had the drive, but also needed to be practical.
We were able to also finally see the gym near the Navarro marketplace (Fitholic Gym). Long story short, it was not good enough for our standards. I decided it was best to go back home, rest for a bit, and re-try training in the afternoon.
While we're there, we made the most of the distance and walked the entire 3.15km home. It was scorching hot to say the least and it was post-semi gym session, which made it more challenging. It wasn't like I had any other choice though. By the time I wanted to throw in the towel, we were a few feet away from the subdivision gate and it would be lame hitching a tricycle ride for 1 more minute.
The best part from killing ourselves over walking under the heat of the sun was coming home to my new squat shoes waiting for me at the guard house.
Saturday
We trained my Zercher squats and I managed to go up to 80 kg. That was surprising for me. The few times I attempted to go heavy, I couldn't do more than 60 or 62.5kg. Of course that was also my attempt at sticking within my comfort zone. For progressive overload, that's the last thing you want to do.
My new shoes helped a lot. Plus, the fact that I finally tried on my knee sleeves. It was challenging to put on, but they gave in eventually. The shoes fit so well and I appreciate the fact that it's spacious on the toes area. The soles are properly heavy and, aesthetically, it looks nice. Apparently, white suits me.
Sunday
We didn't have enough time to train my bench press although I was mostly excited for that compound. So we decided to continue the next day before Dani went home.
I was surprised (and a tad disappointed) that I my training max was close to my normal working set. I guess because it's my favorite so I was expecting a bit more. I managed to do until 55 kg decently.
Dani was supposed to head home that evening, but his back hurt (a personal rating of 8 out of 10), so we gave him medicine and let him lay down for a bit.
Monday
We did the morning walk (3km) with Dani holding a stick because I was too frightened to walk the streets with too many stray dogs guarding the premises.
He headed home that late afternoon, but before he did, I decided we could test out my deadlift max while he was still around to coach me and spot me, if needed. I didn't eat heavy breakfast that morning since I wasn't planning to do the deadlift max. This resulted in me being a bit underfed for the session. I ate macaroni salad as my intra-workout snack.
With Dani's encouragement, my trash motivational pop music, bites of macaroni salad in between sets, and lots of pep talk, I was able to pull 135 kg as my best training rep.
_____
I've always been a late bloomer. Perhaps my multiple setbacks caused by doubts, lack of confidence, injury, minimal support system, and everything else were actually vital in molding me into the person I am today.
Had I not been marinated into all those odds and excuses in the past, I wouldn't appreciate my journey today and I would have no wake up call to snap me back to reality and make me see my own potentials.
Anyway, here are some photos from Saturday afternoon during the failed palengke gym session:

Give It All I Got
Lawd have mercy, so much controversy dealing with adversity
The cards being dealt, the pain I’ve felt, the plate you’ve served me
Full of some good and the bad, lack of happiness to be found
But ten toes down, feet on the ground, putting my best foot forward
Negative vibes, fakes in disguise, trying my best to ignore it
What all could be, the potential I see, the good life I adore it
Plans to navigate and explore it, wanna survive and conquer
Facing these demons, product of a father’s semen that turned em into a monster
When life hit hard, the punches I rolled with it
Surrounded by the deep end and I dove in it
Wasn’t with the artificial, the fake and the gimmicks
God threw me a bone, and I went to go get it
The big dawg in the yard, no contemplation for conversation
Don’t shake hands with the frauds, they don’t understand true authentication
Only the real can relate, blood brothers, born hustlers
Natural bucket getters, soul lifters, killas only need one shot
Don’t plan on missing, catch you slipping, caution for wet spots
Bullseye from 38, straight out the gate, throwing them dots
Now that I’ve got your attention, did I fail to mention, can’t fail the mission
A quest for success, to be the best and I won’t leave a stone unturned
Cause when you look around at how many bridges you’ve burned
In retrospect, when it’s time to reflect on how many lessons you’ve learned
Was it all worth it, did you find your soul’s purpose, get all you could outta life
Were the moves made right, tell em what’s your legacy like

Steins;Gate theorizing 1
Disclaimer: I've only watched the Steins;Gate anime and beat the Steins;Gate visual novel: I have not seen or beat Steins;Gate 0, these are just my current theorizations. I don't want to know even a glimpse if I'm on the right track or if Steins;Gate 0 mentions it. Also, obvious spoiler warnings. I think a lot of people view Steins;Gate based only on what Okabe sees throughout, that what happened was a one off thing and nothing happened 'before' the Okabe we know started. This to me doesn't seem right, even if they're never explicitly shown. To me it's not a 'self determining loop' but a self-consistent loop based on the effects of convergent. However, to *get* in that loop so as to perturb to a worldline that puts him in control was shifted from some past worldline where he wasn't. First, some of the theory of its model. Its repeatedly emphasized that there are not 'parallel worlds'. There are parallel possibilities, that are acted on by attractor fields. When Okabe transfers world-lines, he keeps a continuation of memories from that world-line as do others, even when they've reset to the 'old' world-line. This implies there is in some sense a clear 'order' of influence in worldline based on order of time travel. First of all, everything is too coincidental and set up. How do you accidentally make a time machine and not know how you did it? The lifter from the CRT in Braun's workshop, itself guaranteed by Suzuha owning the building? Having the message set up as Daru is working on it, Mayuri opening the microwave as they are experimenting? Not to mention the 'SERN line' to the LHC. The meet up with Kurisu. Okarin comes up with the crucial points of discovery, driven by his 'mad scientist intuition' but its almost like something telling him to do something. Second, the phone he lifts to his ear, talking to someone, communicating. Third, when outside with Mayuri, we know Okabe got sick 10 years ago with a vertigo effect similar to his Reading Steiner. Fourth, his personality. Kurisu mentions implanting memories in his too far back or with the wrong person can cause serious personality disorders. All this points to one fact, that *before* any of Steins;Gate, Okabe from the future as then a terrorist Okabe Rintaro rebelling against SERN send some select form of his memories from the future to guide him, whilst deluding himself and making him none the wiser. Okabe psychologically in dealing with this forms 'Hououin Kyouma' who I likely think is a reference to some character. He in the future realizes physical time travel from that world-line won't change things but if he can perturb his memories so as to warp into a still self consistent loop that now places him as the center of time travel creation, then from that self consistent place can now properly unwind it in a self consistent way. Its my guess when talking on the phone, he himself is sharing information on the status of the conditions to figure out how to arrange them and perhaps refine a plan to dealing with SERN through these people he meets for his master plan. To perfect this arrangement, its very likely he'd had to gone through multiple time loops. There is the issue Okabe's time machine in this worldline could only go one way. But it may be possible by repeatedly sending new D-Mails attempting things in that moment Okabe is 'sick', then receiving information from future, that he gets info back essentially instantaneously on all accounts and all attempts on 'memory convey' is given in that moment. Regardless, I think the mechanics of this exact is not as important as this broader idea.
