Write's Lore / backstory ~!! (Copy pasted from discord messages so please excuse the cadence + formatting)(+ lack of proofreading)(+ my tentative grasp on Ink lore)
Write is a G!Ink! More specifically, he's a ZephyrTale!Gaster + Ink fusion.... heheheheheh >:3 He, for anyone who doesn't know, is one if Ink's canon (adoptive) Dads! Which ahhh is a source of great evil in my mind ehehehe
Enough being vague about making evil choices though! The main gist of what happens is a is of a 'what if' off that 1 Ink comic in which Z!Gaster ended up dusting. Based just on that & no other lore it's a 'what if' Ink reacted differently.
In the canon one, Ink accepted thats just how the script played out (even if it emotionally killed him to do so he just Couldn't do anything about it in case he upset the Creators). In this it kind of pushed him too far? No matter how scared he was, no matter how much he tried to rationalise it he... just couldn't. He could not, no. Would not, accept the death of his Father. It was to cruel of a joke to play...
So! Rather than uh trying to stop Undertop!Gaster, his other Dad & Z!G's partner, from doing anything about it? He helped him. With the combination of T!G's ability to manipulate code + In's knowledge of scripts & Creators, surely they could bring him back? Not just A Z!Gaster. The one the both knew and loved....
However! And this is a big however! Things didn't quite go to plan :) Look. I'm not sure exactly what went wrong, because i'm not sure exactly how they were trying to do it, but rather than coming back as his own person? His got fused into/with Ink, probably destabilising ZephyrTop and having other Consequences™️ that they never could have predicted.
I feel like part of the theme of their MV is actually like ummmm defying Creator's wishes? Like the characters themselves deciding they don't want to do as they're told? Taking back control of their own lives.... Fuelled by this 1 choice made by a grieving Ink :)
Soo they just ever so slightly ruined their own MV and made it a little unstable..... but it's still around! Still okay (as it can be).
While not what either of them wanted, at least they did get him back... in a way. Write is having a bit of a weird time about it tbh??? Since he's kind of no longer Ink nor Z!Gaster? He doesn't really remember being either, just left with echos of who they were. If you knew either, or both, you can see bits of them living on in Write. He hates it when you point out the bits of him that come from them though. Hates not being seen as his own person, as an individual more than the sum of his parts. Seeing as he is id own person, with his own thoughts and feelings about things.
He's fully aware of how he came to be and uh heavily disapproves of it though..... He, kinda, understands they were grieving but look what they've done? He never asked to be made? Never asked for this, never wanted this. Yet he is the one stuck cleaning up the pieces of who he used to be. The consequence of actions he was never the one to make...
He does function as this MVs guardian of creativity, since he is still part Ink. Begrudgingly though. This wasn't made for this duty yet he still carries it on his shoulders, how typical. He has access to Ink's powers & abilities, better than Ink himself ever actually did. Since he no longer needs his focus (Broomie) to reach his full ability, even if he does still use them. It's not Broomie's fault he's in this mess after all. It would be rude to abandon him.
He also no longer entirely relies on the vials. Without them his emotions are muted, barely there and hard to understand. However, he still retains conciseness and control without them. He prefers who he is on them but can be worse than Ink about forgetting to take them since it won't 'kill' him not to. Catch 22.
Bonus: That feeling when you & your dad try to resurrect you other dad who's dead but it goes poorly 😔  I'm not super sure what his role in his MV is or his connections to other characters yet? I just know this is where he comes from and that he's a lot more..... sad & pessimistic than either of his originators 😅  Probably just as self-isolating as Z!G was though... 🤔

Some ideas I have bouncing around my brain at light speed:
Dream chasing after Nightmare while breaking apart
The idea that all the Bad Sanses had a crush on Grillby at some point as Classic and totally DON'T still have one
Sanster but, like, Gaster is legitimately crazy and Sans is his babysitter keeping him from going completely off the rails on the Core project (Asgore begged him, please Sans he can't stop getting complaints about his royal scientist causing explosions and he refuses to be fired-)
My Variant Cross whimpering to himself because XGaster won't stop taking over his body and demanding that they start conquering AUs again (a whole Jekyll and Hyde situation)

Moltendreams - Error Sans Alias - Static Pronouns: he/him, they/them Personality: Petty, holds a mean grudge, Big Tsundere, Complete Shut-in, Quick Tempered and Moody, fanatic with his interests, externally aggressive when in actuality he is quite shy. An absolute troll. His favorite passtime is messing with others. Paradoxically touch starved and suffers from haphephobia. Reckless with his own well being.
This variant of Error is capable of both love and compassion, he just hides it under a grumpy exterior and several layers of denial and self-destructive dogma. Other Notes:
Reluctant to harm Papyrus directly, though Static can't articulate why, and will generally avoid encounters Papyrus in any given AU.
Had a good relationship with his dad/W.D Gaster, actually.
Relates to "pest" pets; rats, mice, snakes, spiders, beetles, he loves them all.
Would have a pet rat of his own if he wasn't afraid of it shocking itself by chewing on his wires.
His favorite kind of chocolate is mixed with a hazelnut filling.
Views Frisk as a younger sibling.
Into Parkour.
-More Info undercut! -
Abilities: Static uses wire instead of string. Wire and summoned attacks can and do hold an electric charge. His presence alone messes with electronic devices. Residents of a particular AU may get a few minutes or seconds of warning as sweaters get staticy, computer screens glitch out, and anything with a battery spontaneously dies or gets super charged. By creating a circle of alternating RED and CYAN bones, Static creates a sort of reverse faraday cage. While Static can produce electricity, he can't directly control the voltage. He can only hope to direct it. The voltage of a charge is directly influenced by his emotional state. If you touch him, you will find his clothes zappy with static. Do NOT attempt to fight him in humid or watery environments for, hopefully, obvious reasons.
About: Static originates from a pre-Pacifist timeline that was followed by a looping Genocide Route. Through repetitive iterations, and an escalating instability in the timeline, the monsters of the underground began to recall events they didn't witness and memories they shouldn't recall.
Working together, Static, at that point still Sans, and Alphys were able to pin point the root cause of their timeline's instability. They made a plan to save the underground and separate Frisk from the Anomaly but when it came time to execute their plan something went catastrophically wrong. As a result Sans was torn from reality, and caught in the space in-between. Eventually, he escaped but not unscathed. Static has vague conflicting memories of his past, and to this day, questions if any of it was real. He can't find his original AU and secretly fears it may have been the first world he destroyed. He is still looking for it.
Outcode Politics: Static views all outcodes the same way he views every iteration of the original timeline that even slightly deviates: as glitches to be terminated. Bugs in the code he needs to hammer out before it all goes to hell. Static believes that by destroying deviating timelines and AUs, he is preserving the stability of the original. He is “saving’’ it from corruption by trimming the branches back. Despite his position as the self proclaimed Destroyer, Static is not above biases and making exceptions.
Static includes himself on his long list of glitches in the code to be terminated. Static has a different view on the Spirits of Creation that Fable/Ink does. (Spirits of Creation are the in-universe term and stand-in for the creator of an AU). He calls them eldritch parasites. Abominations that should be avoided at all costs. And absolutely should not be encouraged or interacted with. Though he won't admit it out loud, Static is terrified of them. OG Error @.LoverofPiggies/CrayonQueen) Moltendreams @.me Edit: he has been named! Edit 2: revised his profile a bit

Ok, but in all honesty, I find it funny how similar Dust and Crosses story are
Cross n Dust both killed their entire AU, trying to stop something out of their own control.
Cross n Dust wanted to protect the people they loved the most.
Cross n Dust were both blinded by their own selfishness to see through their wrong doings.
Cross n Dust both struggle to communicate or express what they want.
Cross n Dust both don't know what life they want to lead.
They're both pathetic in their own ways but still intertwine in their choices.
And yet, Cross was the only one given more than one path. He was given more chances to find a place he belongs in. People cared about him more.
He was wanted.
Dust wasn't.
Don't get him wrong. He doesn't want to be saved. But he does wonder why no one had tried. Why no one had attempted to even throw a chocolate bar at him for some support, to give some hope, just something to tell him he's not alone in this.
Sure, you could argue that they seen the many variants of Cross pass through. He bonded with more people through these times.
But then why wouldn't they want to save a variant of the classic sans that they all love? The one who is the start of many people's stories. Why would they leave him to suffer with nothing left to defend? They don't know this specific variant, but they didn't know the specific Cross we know either. It was just a familiar face.
Oh, because they don't want to interfere? There isn't anything left to mess with, no other people. The player would've quit a long time ago, and that would mean that the timeline no longer serves a purpose. There won't be an impact on the timeline if you took the only thing existing in it. Leaving him to torture himself instead of bringing him into an omega timeline, seriously?
Oh, but he's a murderer! So what? Cross was tormenting and destroying/stealing parts of AU's, and they still let him into the omega timeline. He eliminated his entire AU and wiped it clean. Wouldn't that be more threatening than a guy who just killed only his(small) kind and not the global population?
Idk, I just think Dust would notice this and be absolutely pissed. Especially with how Cross views himself and the people around him. Cross is basically taking things that Dust can only dream of for granted. He says he doesn't have a home, but he doesn't understand what a home truly is. And Dust can't understand what makes him so special. Was it because X Gaster wanted to use him as some chess piece while Dust was a discarded tissue? Are people's lives truly dependent on what they can do over who they are.
Dust genuinely doesn't know. He feels betrayed by those who don't even know him. Dust is full of hate that there isn't any hope to see in a life other than crime. Crosses existence only solidifies that idea. After all, who would support him? Killer wouldn't. He isn't even sure Horror knows who he is. It's not like he would want him to. He doesn't need someone else to tell him how they'd have lived his life. How they would do something smarter. He's tired of people thinking they're better than him. When all of them are just hypocrites.
Anyways, sorry if I misspelled or made anything sound weird

i drew some humanplates! I feel like instead of drilling plates into their hands, gaster would tattoo them and implant a chip into their hands or something, cause you can't really drill into skin.
I definitely want to draw more of humanplates, the skeles themselves are so expressive so the human versions are probably even more. also mercyplates too, both variants.
handplates is by @zarla-s
edit: totally didn't realise while drawing this but Sans' tattoo is upside down :/

And if so does this make all of my ocs British by proximity

What do you think happened during/after the fight Delta had with his Gaster(in the Final Ep. 1). What are your headcanons for it?
Apologies for the delay in response, I needed to both gain energy/motivation to reply and also to go rewatch Ultra/Vitaltale to refresh my memories.
And also the way the videos were sorted on creator’s YT channel was confusing my brain for some reason, so I just scrolled through their entire channel in order to find every piece on the AUs & put it into separate chronological order in a playlist of my own. Then I tried to rewatch all of it.
Which was hard, because I kept getting distracted and my attention kept drifting away. I will probably try to rewatch again soon, when I am capable of actually retaining the information in my mind accurately.
(Random side note because the thought just occurred to me; I find it very interesting how both Doggo and Papyrus demonstrate bravery when facing up against the unknown threat in Vitaltale Episode 1.4.
Whereas Sans, who will eventually absorb the SOUL of Bravery to become the Delta we know, is all for evacuating. Love how this Sans is not naturally brave in the typical way, even should he eventually come around to gaining the bravery soul in Vitaltale as he did in Ultra.)
Anyway. On to the actual question. My mind is a little wonky today so if I get anything wrong or confused about the question feel free to correct me.
So it’s to my understanding that Echo (Ultratale’s Gaster) calls Sans/Delta to the Ruins for a “chat” after Delta’s fight with Cross. Echo has information for Delta—a way to “fix” their mistakes, but he will not tell Delta unless he fights for it.
Delta calls the information “old,” and says he’s going to beat Echo into the ground anyhow. Gives me the impression that he’s possibly more fixated on his current task—protecting AUs—then trying to go back and fix the past.
Because Ultratale was ultimately rebooted into Vitaltale we obviously don’t know for sure how this battle ends and likely never will, but I personally HC that it has multiple endings.
1. Delta loses, Echo doesn’t give him the information. The two go on their separate ways and live their own lives.
2. Delta wins. Echo attempts to tell the information, but Delta stops him. Says he doesn’t want to know and just wants to move on with life. That it’s what Papyrus, Frisk, and the others would want them to do.
3. Delta wins, Echo tells him the information of how to go back and fix it all. Delta refuses.
4. Delta wins, gets the information, and he accepts. Perhaps this information leads into the formation of a variant AU—a reboot, that creates Vitaltale. Chara doesn’t absorb Frisk’s soul and therefore can’t prevent them from Resetting.
(Side note: perhaps, for a character defining moment, in every ending where Delta refuses to hear or accept this information, Echo always furiously protests against this. Maybe Echo is the voice encouraging Delta to go back, to fix it all and “fight for us,” whereas Beta is the voice encouraging Delta to keep moving forward.
Echo cannot let go of the past because he was shattered and wasn’t ready to leave it, but he is was always aware.
Beta never got to truly live either because they were murdered and kept in a jar, but they were not as aware of the world outside the jar and thus is able to move on easier. Because Beta’s life was over before they truly got to live it, whereas Echo/Gaster’s was cut off at its peak.
Delta is in the middle of this. Experienced with life, but still young. His life is just starting—he’s halfway out of that cage—whereas Beta realizes they are free and is just trying to convince Delta to join them, and Echo..the cage is open, he can step out now.
But he spends his time trying to coax Delta and Beta back inside instead, and to help him bring everyone else back in the cage where it’s safe and familiar.)
Delta, now just Sans and perhaps without any memory of the events of Ultratale, manages to convince Frisk to Reset near the end of a Genocide route and be better. However, the Determined Omega!Chara must still Erase this world—the culmination ending exactly as Ultratale did.
Omega!Chara absorbs Frisk’s Soul, prevents them from Resetting and goes on a Genocide to Erase this world once and for all. Sans attempts to prevent it, even by giving characters such as Doggo hints and tips to help them in combat against the unknown threat.
None of it matters. Sans’ attempts do nothing, it ends in Genocide and Sans absorbs the Bravery soul—going on to protect the rest of the Multiverse.
He always fights Cross, he always fights Echo. He’s always given the choice—go back and try again and again, or accept what happened. Be brave, and move on. Do what Doggo and Papyrus did—brave in the face of impossible odds.
Anyway I guess my little HC is basically that Ultratale and Vitaltale are connected in-universe. Vitaltale is the story of how we got to Ultratale, and Delta must choose between the mortifying ordeal of the unknown and living with his mistakes & losses, or the comfort of a past that’ll end horribly in Ultratale; but at least he never lost anyone yet and no mistakes were ever made.
If he chooses to move on, he goes to the Omega Timeline where he meets Color, Epic, Core Frisk, Killer. Grows closer with Beta, Cross, XChara. Adopts a service/therapy dog he names Zorox (which is someone else’s HC, I don’t know if it’s okay or not with being tagged). Lives life, saving and protecting people.
Sans manages to escape the loop of Undertale only to find himself in another due to the rebooting nature of Ultra and Vitaltale. Only this time he has the ability to choose to escape it, he just has to be brave enough to attempt it—even though it seems impossible.
(Also how, despite the way his experiences could understandably lead him to Nihilism, helplessness and the belief that nothing he ever does or says will ever matter or change anything, he learns to be brave enough to keep trying anyway.)
Anyway. Sorry for the long rant that got horribly off topic at points. I had a lot more ideas about this by the time I was done than when I first read the question. Have Delta & Echo being silly and zesty respectively to make up for it:

Do you think Gaster’s (Handplates) actions are forgivable?
I know my whole online presence is thristing and praising this stupid skeleton man but joy and whimsy aside, his actions were cruel and not justifiable no matter what you tell me. Whats that one saying that goes like “Those who cry after are no better than those who don’t” or something
Short answer: No, absolutely not 😰
Long Answer: His actions were HORRENDOUS 😭 He knew what he was doing was wrong and illegal yet he still did it “for the greater good.” He shows guilt during and after, even in a Mercyplates variant where he didn’t even do anything he still knew what he was doing was wrong. Torturing 2 CHILDREN, on top of that YOUR BIOLOGICAL children, is one of the worst things you can do 😕 As much as I can go off about everything he’s done to those 2, from a story perspective I LOVE his whole arc, even if it was cruel. my points are all over the place so sorry if its confusing or off topic. Who’s ready for an English teacher rant abt why curtains are blue
I like how his story is KIND OF told backwards. He is seen from the brothers’ perspective mostly as well which influences our perspective of him. He’s introduced as a stoic and cold scientist who will do anything for the sake of scientific discovery and freedom, we get very small glimpses at his true character that can easily be missed behind the mask he puts up and all the torture and head blowing up 😭 As the lab arc continues and he starts making more and more bad decisions fueled off his curiousity, it’s super easy to just say, “he’s a horrible person.”
Near the end of the lab arc as he starts to wear himself out, his mask starts to fade and he slips up more often. We can see him make decisions from his heart instead of what he told himself he should be doing. Of course Sans and Papyrus catch on 🥰 But this also gives Papyrus a chance to reach through to him. This time we are able to see more of who he really is. In his discussion w Papyrus about the little skeleton in the war (that obviously isnt him 🙄 /s) He is plagued with guilt following the war, he believes that if he had done something, he could have saved his family and species. This little snippit of his backstory tells us that this is his main motivater (and later more emphasized in little flashbacks after his fall.) We know the King had to essentially sacrifice himself in order to free his people, and in brief pages we see Asgore means A LOT to him. He won’t let himself “sit around and do nothing” as he is about to lose one of the only people he has left. As he and Papyrus have a debate about if the little skeleton was right or wrong, he does lash out. It’s easier for him to accept that he is a bad person doing bad things and he does take it rough from Paps 😬
We can sympathize with him now because we know he is doing it out of good intention. That he wanted to find SOMEWAY to break the barrier and save Asgore. Despite his efforts, he also grows attatched to the brothers and it sways him to drop the project near the end of the lab arc, ESP after the goopster incident. Even with his interactions with Asgore and Alphys, we see he isn’t really the person he pretends to be. He cares about them, he cares about the brothers. During the goopster incident where he fights for the brothers’ lives against his junk data(?) we also gain another point to sympathize with him because even if his life was on the line, he still jumped to defend the brothers (the whole time denying it and being exposed by his evil goop clone). He is no longer this evil scientist who is torturing 2 little kids for the sake of science. We see he is also a war victim who is doing all he can to protect the ones he cares about (even if it’s at the expense of others). For some people, it gets harder and harder to label him. He is a good (and traumatized) person doing bad things. Does that still make him good or does it make him bad?
After his fall and we become way more brothers focused, we start to get flashbacks into Gaster’s perspective. Parts that we didn’t see before, the war, his relationship with other characters, and his build up to starting the project. To keep summarize bc its already really long, its my point earlier. It builds to his character, we gain more depth and personality. Gaster becomes more “human” yadda yadda yadda 😿
In the void, we see he has been floating between the bonds of reality torturing HIMSELF essentially. On top of the insane guilt he felt after everything he’s done, it all meant nothing. He sacrificed his entire life into a project just for his entire existence to be forgotten and yeah he’s gonna be pretty jacked up. More sympathetic YOU GET MY POINT. He tries to push Sans and Papyrus away but Papyrus won’t allow it. Gaster knows and accepts that what he did was unforgivable and we get this sad anime angst battle between the 2. Gaster has shown a LOT of remorse and Papyrus uses this as hope to “redeeming” him. Sans not so much, he is rightfully angry about all the pain and trauma Gaster has permanently inflicted on them both. From Sans’ perspective, he knew he didn’t deserve what happened to him. He was left scarred and bitter after everything and he cannot forgive him for that. But for Papyrus, being who he is, wants his dad. He’s seen from Gaster’s actions (and memories) that he is a “good person” inside. That he made choices based on his past experiences. Papyrus DOES still recognize that they were bad decisions and he also didn’t deserve any of it but gives him a chance to become better, he knows Gaster WANTS to be better. He makes up with Sans and Papyrus (mostly papyrus) (only papyrus..) and they live happily ever after!….yeah… 🥰
Long story short, Gaster made a lot of atrocious decisions because of past trauma. He cared for people and felt the need to save them in an attempt to heal something broken in him, but in the process he made things significantly worse for himself and the brothers who were unfairly wrapped into his mess. He is a victim who became an abuser, projecting his past experiences onto the brothers in cruel and inhumane ways, hurting and torturing them in horrific ways for the sake of his curiousity and making them “strong enough” to achieve his already impossible goal in a blur of desperation.
He is a morally grey character which causes the big divide of opinions on him. Which is fair honestly, he’s complex. (i probably mischaracterized him in my rant too, sorry 😢)
I don’t think his actions are forgivable, no matter how much remorse he shows or how much he changes and improves. I’ve run out of words to describe how bad his actions were. He can become better, yes. But I will never forgive and forget something of that level.
thanks for reading my ginormous rant, I’m sorry if it was confusing hard to read, or just didn’t make sense 😭 I’m a disorganized person with a chaotic thinking style 💔
feel free to tell me your thoughts! I’d like to read them :)💛

some utdr concepts i came up with at 3am
Undermerge
Aight so basically Undermerge was originally created as a regular, standard AU - in fact, it was almost completed!
....until the creator scrapped it the last minute, erasing everything and leaving it behind
Due to how abrupt and rushed the erasure of Undermerge was, the codes of each character basically all fused together, creating a jumbled amalgamation of memories, personalities, etc
This amalgamation managed to survive the deletion of Undermerge because of the DETERMINATION from their variant of Frisk
After a long time of living in the empty, infinite void where their AU once was, they started to go insane.
Eventually, however, they managed to find a way to escape the void by transferring their code to other AUs!!
Shortly after escaping, they took on the name: "Union."
Union is, in appearance, virtually indistinguishable from a shadow. The fact that they don't really have a physical form adds onto this, as they are ever shifting and changing.. just like a shadow. The only reason they don't completely blend in is because of their eyes - they have white sockets, and black pupils.
Union can shift their form to more closely resemble the silhouette of whichever character they feel like the most in that moment - sans, undyne, toriel, etc.
Union is.. very mischievous. They are easily amused by seeing others in troublesome situations. They also have a tendency to prank/spook people. They are very reminiscent of an elusive face that uses their cleverness to lock you into deals, twisting your own words against you and playing mind games for their own entertainment.
They have really bad mood swings. One second they're pissed at you for breathing too loud in front of them and berating you loudly, the second they're complimenting you on how nice you look today like nothing ever happened.
This is because they don't really have a solid identity. Whenever they undergo a mood swing, they usually shift.
For example..
[As Undyne]
"COME BACK HERE YOU PUNK!! YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST WALK ALL OVER ME LIKE I'M A PIECE OF TRASH?"
[Shifts to sans]
"..on second thought, i really don't have the energy to do anything about it. just don't do it again, alright pal?"
They're chaotic neutral. The only thing their jumbled up mess of a mind can really agree on is that they want to be entertained.
If you were to ever fight Union, I'd imagine the flavor text would be reused lines.
Also I feel like they would shift into muffet the most.
I think they like fucking with sanses who get angered easily like fell sans.
Uses we/us when referring to themselves for obvious reasons
Utmv Swap AU - The Cycle of Feelings
Nim takes the role of XGaster
Dream takes the role of XFrisk
Nightmare takes the role of XChara
Ink Sans takes the role of Cross Sans (not too sure about this one but eh. Suggestions?)
Deltarune: The Memories Route
Takes place in a hypothetical scenario where sans falls into a dark world in one of the later chapters and joins the party with kris!
Basically. We force deltarune sans to remember the memories of his undertale counterpart. This includes everything - his knowledge of the anomaly, gaster, timelines, saves, etc
This au mostly focuses on showcasing the player as this unfathomable, higher being to the characters in undertale and deltarune. An unknowable entity, a universal constant that you can never escape, even across alternate realities that holds power beyond what they could ever begin to understand.
Heavy focus on psychological horror.

SLOTS FILLED: 5/5
!!ALL SLOTS ARE NOW TAKEN!! thank you so much everyone! o7
(ALSO DISCO ELYSIUM I FORGOT TO ADD IT TO THE FANDOMS LIST GAH—)
@indigooey had a fantastic idea recently to help @blackkatdraws upgrade their animation equipment from… their phone… to a screen tablet, and that’s funky as hell!
so I'M OPENING CHARACTER BUST COMMISSIONS FOR THE FIRST TIME! want narry to kiss your hand? a niche random au sans? a markiplier ego i never got to? want to see your oc in my style??? well five slots are open...
... aaaaaand i have no idea if they'll be taken or not! LMAO
i really hope so though, bc i'd love to help out. more details below and in the post itself!
instead of sending the money to me, you'll be paypaling it to indigo, the one ultimately paying for the upgrade alongside @/R_Sick_Ghost on twitter (another member of the tsp creator club discord server).
i'll send you the link to her paypal once your slot is claimed juuust in case, so nobody just sends money without discussion expecting a slot ;; better safe than sorry, right?
it is in the post, but you MUST discuss with me first if you want a commission.
i reserve the right to decline your commission. obviously i'm not gonna cancel one that's confirmed properly, but please do not randomly send money and expect to have your commission accepted without prior discussion.
just had to make that super clear before we move on lol.
but yeah, like i said before! if you've ever wanted a character in my style, or for me to draw another undertale au, or to have a POV shot of gaster or narry kissing your hand or whatever, now is the time o7
kat really is a wonderful animator, and even with extremely limited equipment has managed to do incredible work. you may recognize this animation of my narry they did, or even just THEIR narry variants, black and grey, and all the wonderful animations on their YouTube channel. i think this could be really great for them—and hey, even if that doesn’t ring a bell for you, you get some art out of the deal :)

aghfdsfd sry about the infodumping but i havr to get tgis out of my head hc that ink has a kind of a fixation on naming?? him naming his brush ,the doodlesphere and giving people nicknames kinda?? something something about his abandoned AU not havign a name... something about his last words being not watnting to b forgotten. wanting to be someone.. somethin about names n identity sjhjgf also uhm i just learned that it's actually like. confirmed that he's the one who put all those buckets in the doodlesphere. and also ink doesn't consider himself a Sans bc of his lack of a universe. uh mirror room. apparently its implied that the reason he doesnt liek that room is bc. Ink couldnt tell that they're the original or just one of the many reflections/imposters. since he's the only Ink who doesnt have a soul and doesnt remember jack shit ab his past.(kinda outdated but makes sense. that room was made official around that time where the fact that ink not having a soul is considered vry niche info iirc? somewhere around early 2017)
no Anon you’re onto something with the naming thing.
I think it’s fascinating that Ink, should this be true (which it seems very plausible to me), extends this need to be someone, to have an identity, to others. In a similar way to how they might subconsciously extend that feeling of no universe deserving to be left behind, in that both stem from themself, yet he can’t help but fulfil that desire through other people. Really shines a light on the side of Ink that “isn’t completely selfish”, to put it in words I remember from one post by Comyet.
I always had a feeling, like a headcanon, that Ink would feel separated from his Sans identity, or, well it would probably be more like a role or title to him, rather than a name or someone he is. They left “Sans” behind with _____tale (something he doesn’t even remember). Though, it’s interesting that he still carries over some sans-like traits, like puns/pranks (though more frequent and intense pranks than a regular Sans would pull), and the creation of their own personal Gaster Blaster companion and forming bones out of ink. And there was the sans-like sweater in their old design (something I like to think they still hold on to, even if he doesn’t wear it anymore)
I should check Comyet’s blog to see that lmao guess it probably wasn’t purely just a hc after all.
THE PART ABOUT THE MIRROR ROOM IS FASCINATING THOUGH! Now that you mention it I think I remember a post like that, again looks like I need another trip through the Inkechos tag 😅. But still!! I wonder how Ink would feel about the mirror room now, if his dislike was based around how all the other “hims” had souls and he didn’t, now that that’s changed and it’s actually the Inks with souls who are the outliers (shout out to FTFO!Ink). Would they take joy in the fact that they’re not alone? Or would it still feel, weird and uncomfortable somehow? Perhaps serving as another reminder of his emptiness deep down, and so they still avoid it even though the circumstances in the fandom have changed. I know that whenever I RP my version of Ink meeting other variants, he’s always very interested to see new versions of himself, so maybe it would just be like that! Who knows! Well, Comyet does, but I’m not her 😅.
Either way thank you so much for this thought-provoking ask, Anon! I’m always happy to discuss my favourite chaotic-neutral-artist-skeleton guy like this!

FATESWAP info dump time woah
Ok im gonna be 99% less mysterious and freaky than i am w/ EternalNight!Verse bcus FATESWAP mostly focuses on the present events of Underverse 0.0-0.8 :3c
I really really wanna talk about Arrow first though cus he’s one of my favourite freaks
Tumblr media
This is Arrow, he fits in the role of Cross in FATESWAP; what made him take this role was the skirmish between X!Frisk & Cross , where instead of holding back Cross accidentally goes too far and shoots X!Frisk’s eye
Tumblr media
vvv This point exactly vvv
Tumblr media
This’d cause them to go ballistic and everything else pretty much goes like how it originally does in XTale but it’s Frisk who genocides everyone; and in retaliation (and bcus he’s heavily wounded) X!Gaster takes away the world making it seem like he’s actually gone but also trapping Arrow in the process. (Barring the Vessel/Arrow from using OVERWRITE)
Most of the story goes the same; except Ink is subbed in for Core!Frisk (who’s referred to as Omega), who eventually asks Arrow to go to the Omega Timeline, but he refuses.
Tumblr media
So Omega leaves him be for an extended period of time. Making him feel like Omega abandoned him, which they sort-of did but not intentionally.
One day Mr. E (Error) pulls up to Arrow’s crib and takes half of his soul , this being before he became a ‘good guy’ so 😞
Arrow eventually takes actions and convinces Frisk (or ‘Player’) to let him spend the last moments he had with his family; of course Player obliges but it was really a ploy to get Player’s guard down and take their soul.
Omega, Player and Arrow get into a confrontation but Arrow managed to get away by the skin of his teeth.
-
He likes churros, Mettaton variants (both the TV and funny guys) , and small groups of people.
He hates being referred to as Frisk, VII, prototype or anything else of the sort.
If I remember right, I think Arrow’s whole arc is about like “Are my emotions even real?” Because, well, Savitr (Dream) and Ratri (Nightmare) are the embodiments of Positivity and Negativity, so they pretty much… are feeling?? If that makes sense so he’s here wondering if anything he feels is real or if they’re just a byproduct of another being. Because the only thing he feels is individual about himself is his emotions. And if they aren’t even real, then, what is he?
What is he fighting for if he’ll never have true freedom?
Speaking of his emotions :3c
Tumblr media
Ultimately, it’d be his and X!Chara’s combined, visceral hate, for everything and everyone around him that’d get him out of XTale after he’d taken Player’s soul. As it’d draw a certain silly guy in … Savitr… who’s subbing in for Nightmare.
What happens is that Arrow hets sent to Underswap (instead of Underfell) for a silly reconnaissance mission :3c and to get Azure (Swap) but things go awry and Arrow gets into a skirmish with either Swap!Muffet or w/ Azure
Tumblr media
gang i kinda want to have Swap!Muffet in place of Fell!Sans but i have a lot of art + ideas w/ Azure already 😞
Tumblr media
I think I’d spend more time with Arrow doing missions w/ Savitr and (potentially) Rellik but idk
MY OHONE’S GETTING LAGGY AND IDK WHAT ELSE TO WRITE SO HERE’S THE REST OF THE ARROW ART that’s cool :3c
