What if the crow is not actually Sylus'....as in not a pet/companion/minion...it just likes to follow him around because he might have been nice to it once?

Crows are known for their intelligence and keen memory, particularly regarding whether someone's been kind or cruel to them, and they will behave appropriately to how the person has treated them.

What if Sylus might have been unknowingly kind to one crow (i.e., given it food, something shiny, saved it from a trap/predator), and now it just follows him everywhere, and he doesn't care enough to discourage this behavior

in all seriousness, i've spent so much time on this guy. it's genuinely one of my favorite things i've ever written and being able to share it with you all is honestly just incredible. finally finishing it after such a long time is a bittersweet thing for me, and getting to see people reading and reacting to it really keeps its spirit alive.

Authorities in Turkey are trying to get to the bottom of a bizarre mystery spawned by a crow that somehow came into possession of two severed human fingers. The very strange case reportedly began on Monday when security guard Hayrettin Doğan was making his rounds at a gas station in the city of Istanbul. The normally routine patrol took a macabre turn when a crow suddenly landed in front of him and shockingly dropped an index finger as well a thumb onto the pavement. "Initially, we thought it was a joke," one of the other security guards said, "but as we approached, the gruesome reality became evident. The blood-stained fingers were swollen and fresh, leaving us utterly shaken."

The disturbed Doğan dutifully reported the dark discovery to police, who arrived on the scene and collected the mysteriously severed digits. Suspecting that that they may have come from a murder, authorities have since taken prints and DNA from the fingers in the hopes of identifying their owner while also using security footage to possibly track the movements of the bird prior to its arrival at the gas station. While it remains to be seen whether or not these efforts will lead to the source of the discarded digits, should the person have been the victim of foul play and their killer is apprehended, one imagines that they will be profoundly surprised to learn that a proverbial crime-fighting crow was to blame for their downfall.

this film is WILD, i love watching a group of ppl arguing and fighting over who dated whom and who slept with whom before meeting whom and who's been pregnant and who's cheating on her husband with her female yoga instructor or sth idk o_o

they should all just have one big orgy together!! then they wouldn't have to worry about being jealous of each other!!! there, problem solved :D

well, it ends badly, but i think we've ALL learnt something here today: mental illness is shameful, taking medication makes u ~less urself~, and self-harm is the SAME THING as a suicide attempt which is the SAME THING as planning an elaborate prank that facilitates the murder of one friend which is the SAME THING as shooting two of the others.

also apparently each of them is meant to embody one of the ~seven deadly sins~ and they are very bad ppl for being *checks notes* proud of their accomplishments, depressed due to life's circumstances, and unashamed of their sexuality, etc. NOTHING DODGY HERE!!! ALL VERY REPUTABLE POSITIONS TO TAKE. EXTREMELY NORMAL.

.....UNLESS..........wAS IT ALL JUST A DREAM???????? (feck i hope so bc that were a sad sad series of events, just look at the state of them, and all that blood's going to stain those lovely hardwood floors ;A;)
