Just my opinion!
I feel very sorry for all the GoBB creatures, but especially Banban.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that Case 6 was the only one who was introduced to his donor and this is... Terrible.
They ALL live on other people's memories, knowledge and feelings, but only Banban knows about it (although he denies it), and as for me, it is many times worse, as if he lived in ignorance. I don’t even want to know what it’s like when you’re just living, and then it turns out that your whole life is a lie. He has a second side that takes control over him with the help of evil and the same pain. And he, again, suffers greatly from this.
He seems to be sincerely trying to fix the situation and help, but the main character doesn't seem to care.
I just really hope he survives and appears in Chapter 6, otherwise, well, why did they reveal it to us more than anyone else? :_)

Okay so if you're not interested in my GoBB theories, you can keep scrolling 🤭
OKAY SO I downloaded all the Garten of Banban games on my younger brother's PC (he doesn't know 0.0) and I've been noticing a lot of things.
In Chapter 1, there is this thing called "the crash", which happened on "Bring A Friend" Day. All the kids that are in the kindergarten are able to bring a sibling, friend, family member, whoever. All of this excess weight on the first floor caused Jumbo Josh to become overwhelmed, hence breaking the first floor.
This brings me to my first theory. If Bring A Friend Day wasn't that packed because there are very few kids in this kindergarten program, how could the floor have crashed?
Second theory, Jumbo Josh is giant, yes. But he doesn't seem to be able to be heavy enough to break any other floors below. So, I believe that maybe the first floor is overworked and old, but since the company is so in debt, they didn't have enough money to pay for repairs and ended up losing their top floor.
In Chapter 1, it is also made clear that Banban is actually Doctor Uthman Adam from his passport and ticket he used to travel from Montreal to wherever the company is located in Madrid, Spain. Here is the proof:
Tumblr media
Now, in Chapter 2, we meet Zolphius and a lot of the main characters. We first interact with Nabnab and Banban, and there is a note that repeats "The spider is real."
Tumblr media
This is written by a scared coworker who has witnessed Nabnab, and they seem to fear him greatly. (In all honesty, I would too lol)
But, I don't think Nabnab actually has any bad intentions. As it says on his mural art, "It's okay to have no friends and be miserable like me!", Nabnab seems to genuinely strive for friendship, but no one wants to be his friend because he's "scary".
This causes Nabnab to become hostile and aggressive towards everyone except for his friends, but even then sometimes he doesn't trust them. I think that's why he attacks us overhead when we're running away during the chase scene.
Then Banban comes along, he hits us behind the head and puts us in "surgery". But during said surgery, it only appears that in the room, we lay on a carpet and givanium is on the ground. I believe this was Banban's attempt to harm us, only to fail and flee.
The Captain Fiddles Floor is filled with only copies of Captain Fiddles, seven small ones and one giant one. Now, these creatures are described as "passive and docile" until the crash from Chapter 1 startled them into aggression.
That is where this note stems from:
Tumblr media
So clearly these creatures are sensitive to frightening situations and react on instinct to protect themselves.
But my other theory is, why the hell are there guns in a kindergarten? Like, I know it's a whole facility and there may be the occasional whoopsie, but full on weapons and cannons? 0.0
Banbaleena also has this weird voiceline.
"No! Not again! I actually tried to be a good teacher this time!"
So, this is what it makes me think of. You know that one teacher that you absolutely hate(d) that just makes you rethink everything? Yeah, I think Banbaleena was that kind of teacher.
She's adamant, she's false happy, she's strict, she's overly dramatic. She's that one teacher than NO ONE likes, and that's why she uses inanimate objects as students because one, she lost all her actual students, and two, her actual students just didn't like her 0.0
Next, Chapter 3.
Okay, so this is when we first interact with Stinger Flynn and Nabnaleena. Now, while this chapter doesn't have very many secrets to look over, there still is the white room with hidden keycards.
The white room, in Stinger Flynn's "meditating room", has some interesting things.
In this room, there is a wall art of Chamataki and Tamataki with a whiteboard showing a rainbow DNA image with the words "Case 22, Genome Cloy".
Now, there is a paper that describes the genome cloy, and I'll summarize it here.
A genome cloy is where too many genome donors are given to one specimen, and the body of said specimen will go into a pure state of haze and berserk behaviour due to all the genetic diversity and mutation. During this, it is unsafe to hold one of these specimens in a kindergarten.
Now, this actually gives us a lot of useful information. It serves as why Chamataki and Tamataki in a certain tape shows them trying to tear themselves apart, simply because they are two different minds, two different animals reacting differently to this genome cloy.
Now, we have to talk about Stinger Flynn here.
So, already this stupid jellyfish is my favourite character. His smarts, his wit, his personality, his characteristics, everything.
But, he always seems to blame US for everything going wrong.
Sir, we didn't cause your first floor to crash- we didn't infuse you with givanium and tell you to kys-
Now, there are a LOT of images showing kids with Stinger Flynn, and it makes sense. Here are what most of them are:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4
Now, this kid often talks to their mother about these things, and due to the kid looking androgynous, they will be represented as "he" (just because, no I'm not being sexist). In the game, I actually think we play as the mother.
But, in Chapter 4, he also seems to blame us for his lack of strength when it was so clearly Sheriff Toadster?
Now, there's also a major secret in this chapter.
There is a hidden room in the Ventilation Sector. You have to go through Banban and Mr. Kabob Man's chase scene, finish the cutscene where Nabnab and Banban fight, and click Mr. Kabob Man's speaker for his iconic "Open Sesame!" for your secret keycard.
Now, this opens a room with some useless information, but it gives us some insight.
This is a room with a picture of Syringeon and some whiteboards with his information on it. But sadly, no paper was there to show anything else. It simply showed percentages of his survival rate during different situations.
But there are some tapes that show Toadster and Bittergiggle being forced to bow down to Bouncelia, and I presume this is when they first got together and truly followed the rules to avoid harm by the doctors studying them.
Now, there's also a few notes that show other doctors communicating with each other through those notes on the ground, and most of them seem old. So clearly their big plan was already put into action and was created.
A lot of people think Kittysaurus is a minor character, serving as only a boss to annoy the player. But, they actually some good background information that helps support character development.
It is known that Kittysaurus and Bittergiggle are very close friends because the giant feline appreciates Jester's jokes. In a sense, Kittysaurus was all Bittergiggle had to feel normal and accepted. So that's why you always see them together.
The fight in Chapter 4, the reunion in Chapter 6, they're very close friends and it serves as someone Bittergiggle is close to and cares about.
Now, Chapter 6 and 7 aren't very lore-packed like the other games. There are a few notes here and there, but none of them are important. Though, Chapter 7 offers some really good information in the beginning when Syringeon is talking to us.
He has a whiteboard showing all the characters that are alive, which include: Jumbo Josh, Sheriff Toadster, Zolphius, Syringeon, and a few others with question marks on their pictures to show that he's unsure if they're alive or not.
Back to the previous chapters, Chapter 2 holds a very specific point that I need to discuss.
When you get to the room where you meet Banban on the comms, you have to do a puzzle to get the keycard to enter the maintenance room.
However, there is a list of employee names on the wall, and the one with the gold star is named Weverly. Weverly is actually Ms. Mason. However, we don't know much about Ms. Mason except for the fact that she teaches the kindergarteners.
So, I believe the names on this list are also employees who work at the company who have either been killed or turned into givanium mutants.
Now, givanium is a major part of Garten of Banban. There are many notes that state how it works, why, what it does, etc etc. But there is one note in particular that really gets me nervous, and it's this one:
Tumblr media
This is about the closet we'll get to a disloyal and worried coworker who genuinely believes what they're doing is wrong, and further proves that this company is getting more inhumane with their work.
Anyways, I love this game I'm sorry I had to ramble.
And this is the end of my theories :) Thanks for reading lol if you've made it this far, have some Banban

Garten of Banban Theory!
I have a theory, and hear me out. (Please keep in mind, this might be a stretch, but just hear me out):
So, we all know we play as a human parent looking for our kid. Common knowledge. However, my theory is that we, the player, are NOT human, rather a Givanium specimen who retains the memory of the parent, and believes we are still human, much like Banban.
Consider this: We might have been human for the first chapter, and the beginning of the second chapter, but i believe that after Banban knocked us out, we were no longer are.
What Banban took from us could very well be our genomes. We don't know for certain, but i believe that it is our human genomes as he refers to us as "the perfect specimen." Wouldn't really make sense for him to call us that if he was just taking, say, our pancreas as i originally thought, cuz, ya know, thats his thing. But Banban firmly believes that he is Uthman, retains his memories and all that, so i think he was trying to continue what the real Uthman was in making a perfect specimen.
Back to the main theory point, i think he made a Givanium creature of some sort like Uthman was intending, and that is us now the moment we wake up on the floor from our "surgery."
Everyone else still sees us as a parent, like how Toadster refers to Banbaleena as "Mrs Mason" in chapter 6, and Banbaleena refers to herself as "we humans" in chapter 2. Even in Banban's Case Update 2, they make mention that: "Despite seemingly being incredibly intelligent, it does not appear to recognize itself as a non-human. When addressed as a non-human, Case 6 reacts with confusion. Reflections also have no effect, as Case 6 appears to see itself as the human genome donor." Whose to say that other Givanium creatures with human genomes don't also see each other as humans?
It might explain how and why we are able to travel so deep into the facility, surviving multiple elevator crashes, and also have the ability to reincarnate. It might also explain why we appear in Stinger Flynn's dream sequences, and are interacted with.
So in conclusion, the Player is no human, rather, a Givanium creature with the Human Parent's genomes, who does not know they are no longer human, instilled with fulfilling parent's mission of finding their missing child.
But, hey. Thats just a theory. A BANBAN THEORY! If anyone has more to add, or any counters to my theory please repost or comment! i'd love to hear about them! /gen

Tw: incoherent yapping
I think banban and Bittergiggle should be together
Be it platonic or romantic I do not mind. They would understand one another to the fullest and have likely been friends or atleast mutuals for a long time
Bittergiggle is the yapper n ban is his listener.
Also detail I noticed is that whilst banban doesn’t necessarily laugh at bitters jokes he doesn’t push them down like some of the others and was the only one NOT immediately hostile to him. Small peeve of mine is that when bitter also “sacrifices” himself banban doesn’t really say anything- but I’m gonna assume it’s due to mild understanding of bitters issues and also maybe shock making him go silent at the time
I’m coping
I need bitter back immediately and I need ban and him to bond immediately
Gobb 0 please do not let me down and make it malleable for my au. Please have a baby bittergiggle cameo at the very least. I’m begging you
Also they may not be actual babies- they could just have less givanium injected to them at first to see if they’ll even come alive. We do see something like that happen with little beak too where she can get her givanium taken out and change her size- Flynn aswell.
I also think that Missing Banban and Karting may have some mild background lore too considering the games. I know both of them have been made with different people but god do they actually look good. I hope the brothers are learning from some of kartings models too tbh😭 they’ve been improving alot over the years.
But anyways another reason why I think they may have background lore is also because a lot of the lore in the actual games is shoved into the background rather than in your face. A lot of it is context clues and having to piece things together that are out of order. Even the stupid stickers on the walls HAVE lore in them. Waiter waiter!!! More garten of banban please!!!
Anyways sorry for the incoherent yap session I have many thoughts. Also sorry the nabnab posting is taking forever- I have most of it done but I just keep forgetting about it 😭

More theories or just something I have to point out amongst the fandom ig
Ok so I'm seeing how people already saying that Sir dadadoo is queen bouncelia's son? Are we sure?
Notice the smaller baby leech kangaroos,??? Isn't that proof that Sir dadadoo was never her kid in the first place, they are not even related at all, I believe that Sir dadadoo is in fact Queen Bouncelia's (ex?) Husband.
Like the babies are different species into one.
So I guess cross breeding is a thing in gobb apparently, so shippers have fun making fan kids because it's technically possible.

SPOILERS FOR GARTEN OF BANBAN 7
Tumblr media
Theory about Garten of Banban 8
So we all know that Blue dude under Banban right? At the end of the game there's a sticker of banban covering up a Blue Banban.
And for the gob8 trailer, Banban opens up a closet and releases the Blue banban.
My theory is: The Blue Banban is Case 1. But case turned out so horribly they decided to scrap him completely and replace him with Banban

note things for gobb7 because why not? I mean who wouldn't want to hear someone else jabble on about a game they are interested in, Lol.
-On a serious note, i can't really see bittergiggle being dead, your telling me this dude has been stabbed by a plastic star once before yet he's dead dead now? Just how? He literally got shanked in the same spot too so how was that lethal? You see on occasion characters getting crushed, falling off great heights, go splat on walls, get blown up, get ganged up on by a leech amd his little weak ass army, i mean i also can't see how bouncelia died, seeming as the naughty ones did escape yes, but she was around light, so that'd probably give her enough time to recover as i doubt the trapped wouldn't outright try hurt her (if the divorced parents headcannon is true to some degee).
Jester clones can and for some reason live despite loss of limbs, possiby always been like that since creation or not, yes we see in the beginning of gobb7 syringeon murder one of his damn kids but do they ever truely die? We hear the naughty ones die, could being a sub-case play a role in that, or was light really just a huge weakness? What about dadado? He was pummled to 'death' but did he actually die? What even is the limit to these being's immortality?

Garten of Banban Theory! PT 2
I have another theory, this one isnt very supportive in terms of evidence but i thought i'd express my thoughts because this game is on my mind 24/7 :P
So this theory is regarding Flumbo (as the fans call him) and Banban.
On the end screen of GoBB 7, theres a poster that says "Flumbo and Friends" but the "Flumbo" is not the blue guy, its Banban. So here's my theory.
Banban had taken Flumbo's place in the main Kindergarten Mascot's gang, basically switching places and identities, and that the Banban we know is in fact Flumbo, not Banban. He took his name and locked him away.
I think that Banban, who we learn was part of the gang from the Abyss along with Zolphius, Bittergiggle, and Tamataki and Chamataki from the full mural in the trailer for Chapter 8, had taken over Flumbo's identity, name, and place in the kindergarten's mascot gang. Hence why Flumbo was locked in a closet that Banban opens in the beginning of the trailer.
I think the rest of the Abyss mascots were fully aware that Banban is not part of the main gang, and the main mascots were not. Syringeon is well aware of this fact, which is why he was trying to stop us from peeling away Banban's sticker from the mural. I also believe that Bittergiggle is aware too. As we know from my last theory, the main gang addresses each other with their human genome donor's names, but Bittergiggle does not refer to Banban as Uthman, only seemingly doing so when Banban got irritated by not being addressed as such, "Banban- i mean, *Uthman*, took one and left the other one for you. He gets jest-erratic when I call him Banban. Do you know why that is?"
Again, this isn't a very strong theory, but i thought i'd toss the idea out there for the GoBB community to consume :)
