I want to imagine vampirism in this au is some sort of rare defect upon spawning in, maybe shared between zam, evbo, and ferre. Maybe clown if I’m feeling silly enough. Evbo may have accidentally slipped up about it to Ray during his first few days, not realizing it’s an abnormal thing</3

Evbo would be so scared of hurting Ray or doing too much but trusts him to tell Evbo if it’s too much, and Ray being willing to have Evbo be as vulnerable as he needs to be with him.

Evbo would probably feel awful as Ray reassures him that it’s okay afterwards too, and that he’s glad he did it. Promising that it’s okay and that it’s safe. Something something this being huge deal of trust for the both of them and fully realizing the others safe to be around in a way ykwim,,

Guardbo au where evbos the vampire that refuses to drink blood and rays the human(or werewolf idk… I’m a sucker for both…) that has to beg him to actually eat and gets desperate enough to offer himself

I wanna imagine evbo would sometimes still use the video journal post canon, esp to just vent and sort things out audibly as it does help him a little in canon

But I want to think the diamonds n tabi are far more willing to also partake in it now too. Evbo is doing everything in his power for them, so why not spare a minute and act like your in a little podcast with the guy for a second so he doesn’t go insane?

I think some of them may even learn to enjoy it. Maybe minute would use it to practice being more emotive in how he speaks/gestures and ask for evbos assistance with how he’s doing. Maybe Julie would tell Evbo stories from the early days of being a diamond infront of the machine. Wemmbu and Evbo would do shopping hauls

Maybe ferre would speak up a little more. Slowly but surely. Small words of advice, maybe stories with small messages of ‘it’s okay to take a break from this’ woven into it. Never spoken directly

Maybe tabi and evbo would share more light hearted stories to one another on it when she forces him to take a break. Even if it’s for fifteen minutes. Even if it’s for a few days.

Maybe. Just maybe. If Teddy were here, he’d realize he liked the journal too and would (begrudgingly) join evbo in talking non stop to it.
