Garrett theory:

so you know how serial killers can be sentimental in a way? like theyll keep a trophy of their kill? i think thats why William kept Garretts plane.

why? i personally think that Garrett was Williams first kill. like ever. its so far from the Pizzeria. its in a random camping spot in the woods. it was so sudden. like it was a spur of the moment thing. he saw the opportunity and just. did it

and then we went as far as to keep the kids toy and give it to his own daughter. its horrible

but its JUST like Charlie Emily. im an Evan Afton was the first death believer, but Charlie can just as easily be. no matter what, Charlie was Williams first murder, and then he kept going.

with that in mind, lets look at the fact that Golden Freddy is inhabited by TOYSNHK. aka the movieverse Cassidy. that slot is filled.

Its Me appeared on the mirror in front of Mike. the puppets music box played during the credits. immediately after 'COME FIND ME' is spelled out with the fnaf 2 minigame robotic letters.

mike himself even said Garrett felt closer in the pizzeria! theres a lot of evidence right now pointing towards Garrett being the puppet. he was the first kill. the first before the MCI, like Charlie

not to mention how the Schmidts seem to be replacing the Emilys in a way. the family name vs family name type thing. dont forget theres also that theory of mikes dad being Henry.

but back to my other point about Evan and Charlie, and how either of them could be the first based on what you believe, it still counts. garrett takes both evan AND charlies roles in the story. like how Vanessa takes Vannys and Michael Aftons. Like Mike schmidt takes michael aftons but also the story of an innocent family who are victims of williams killings by losing a loved one.

Garrett is both the lost first kill of the 'good' family of the story (the emilys in gameverse), AND he has the role of Evan with mike, with mikes guilt and the idea that he can avenge him or save him in a way. hes the Its Me. hes the puppet

(the family (afton + schmidt) duality also works because of the symmetry theme in the movie. also Garrett would be two game characters combined, also applying. just like how the characters i mentioned above also have combinations of two game characters as their own)

anyway this universe is super intriguing and awesome and i cant wait to see what theyre gonna do next

Garret Schmidt is Golden Freddy: Change my mind.

Okay I’ve heard people talk about the theory that Garrett will be the Puppet in the second Fnaf movie, but it’s so obvious that he’s going to be Golden Freddy imo.

First of all, there’s the ‘It’s Me’ written on the mirror after Mike fell asleep in the office. The phrase ‘It’s Me’ was always used to communicate from Evan to Michael in game. Brothers, one of which is in golden Freddy, talking to the living.

Secondly, Golden Freddy canonically has two souls inside him. Cassidy, and the crying child. In the movies, at least so far, Evan Afton does not exist. So who else could the second soul be?

But who says either of these are Garrett? Well it all ties into my little theory…

ITS THE AFTON CHILDREN ARCHETYPE. I am going to make a post on this later, completely explaining my theory, but for now we’re only appplying the basics. At this point in the lore, there is always a trio that acts as the Afton children. In this case, it is Mike Schmidt as Michael, Vanessa as Elizabeth, and Garrett as Evan.

At this point I think it is more likely that Abby is acts as the Puppet. She is the one who could see and interact with the children’s souls. In game lore, Charlie is the ringleader, the most aware of the animatronics. We of course, haven’t seen the puppet in movie yet, so I am very curious how she will tie into the next movie.

But at this point, I am 99% sure that Garrett is golden Freddy, NOT the puppet. If anyone else has thoughts/refutes then I’d love to hear them! Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

What if Vanessa's name isn't actually Vanessa, and it turns out she's Charlie, who was kidnapped by William at a young age and abused so she would suppress her memories?

Now, you might be wondering, "What would that mean for the actual plot?"

Sammy Emily is the Puppet, and he wasn't asking Mike to find him. He was asking his sister.

Garret is still very much around and part of the plot, but THIS would be a plot twist that barely anyone would see coming.

The whole plotline in the books is that one of the Emily kids is kidnapped, which sets off the whole story into motion. This could be a "What if" scenario where BOTH were kidnapped.

Everyone expects it to be Garret, and that's exactly why it (maybe) isn't!

We got to stretch this story into a trilogy, so having the big plot twist revealed in the second film just doesn't make much sense story wise

(That also isn't really how Scott writes from what I can tell. He's a "wait for the last moment," kind of guy)

Hey, crazy theory I have for FNAF movie/FNAF movie 2.

What if the puppet is being possessed by TWO souls?

So, listen: I notice in the movie, Golden Freddy only has one eye working/glowing because 1. The other eye is missing since it's withered like the Spring Bonnie suit, 2. We see no other kid possessing Golden Freddy other than Cassidy (blonde hair boy).

But, you must be thinking: why would I think that? Well, because in my last post I mention how the numbers of Afton Family members are switch with the Schmidt's (aka the movie version of the Emily Family in the Games).

There's three kids in the Afton Family in the games, but in the movie it's the other family instead. So, I thought more and it's clear that Garrett is the movie version of Charlie (William's first victim and one who possess the puppet) so it's clear that Garrett is gonna possess the Puppet in the FNAF 2 movie, right?

But, what if there is a second soul in the Puppet?

Since FNAF 2 is a prequel (Game wise), and possibly in the movie (but the movie is still a sequel, it'll just show us what happened in the past) I wonder if it'll show the Bite of 83, but this time the character who is supposedly Charlie, is the one who got bitten by Golden Freddy.

But, instead of possessing Golden Freddy, the Puppet comes in to try and save Charlie then boom, Charlie and Garrett possess the Puppet together.

But, that made me release something about my last post;

If the reason why William kidnapped Garrett was for revenge because of what happened to the victim of the Bite of 83, then that would make Charlie his daughter!

That would be a twisting plot twist if that actually happened in the movie, hehe

After watching the FNAF movie, I have suddenly fallen back to my FNAF phase from like 2021 so....that's a thing

For how he died, my theory is that he died before the other children, and William didn’t have anything to do with it, or it was just way more far removed from how the others died. In the drawing of William killing the children, Abby includes Garrett in the drawing but not Golden Freddy, so that makes me think William wasn’t involved in how he died. Because it seems to be that GF is the one who’s been talking to Abby and told her about what happened to Garrett, maybe even what happened to the other kids but we only know she’s heard about Garrett. But Abby leaves GF out, so did he not mention how he died? Or did he actually tell her and she knows he wasn’t one of William’s victims?

For the revenge thing with GF, I’m sure he felt betrayed when he learned what his father was doing, either by witnessing it himself or finding out somehow. I’m wondering if William was always a hurtful person, or was he normal at one point? That would’ve been a bigger slap in the face to his children, and it might be based off of the theory that William didn’t start killing until his son died (like how my theory is that Garrett being the Puppet was based off of the theory that the Crying Child became the Puppet that Matpat made years ago).

And another idea I had was that maybe GF wasn’t trying to get Abby stuffed, but was instead relying on her ability to snap the other kids out of it and convince them to turn on William. Because if GF wanted her stuffed, why not do it himself? He was with her, he brought her there, but he disappeared after she went through the doors, and you never physically see him again until the end, which is interesting.

Fnaf Movie Spoilers !

Do you guys think Golden Freddy is Afton's son? The way he reached out for help while dying in the closet and Cassidy (calling him that for simplicity sake) how coldly closes the door makes me think they know each other. William didn't plead for Vanessa to help him, or the other animatronics. Yet, here, he extends his hand in hopes Cassidy will take it. They. Have. History! He definitely seems to act/have the same motives as William, but hates him severely.

Think about it. Cassidy is even heavily influenced by William despite probably being murdered by him. Instead of seeking out to use the suit for ill intent, it really seems like he wants a new friend, along with the gang.

Wanted to draw Mike into the Pizzeria + Tried to manipulate him by promising his family in exchange for Abby

Lead Abby back to the Pizzeria to get her stuffed (I assume he wanted to give her new life instead unlike William who seems to control it)

He even holds a lot of traits like William. Such as being more distant, mysterious, violent and manipulative. I won't blame him though, I'd be pissed as fuck if I died too.

So, now I'm thinking . . . Why would William kill his own son?

Well. Judging by how desperate he was looking at Cassidy, I could argue that it was either:

A. By accident.

B. Something else, and his death twisted his memory to believe it was William.

This was just a random thought I had. It's a little messy, but I DO think they have history. Apart from William just killing him. Feel free to add on !

I made a post about the theories I’ve had about Garrett being The Puppet and where I think he may be hiding/trapped in.

I’ve considered many things.

Maybe Garrett’s body is locked behind a box.

Maybe The Puppet is locked behind a box.

Maybe they’re stuck in another location.

Or maybe William thought of a plan.

I mean, he didnt actually think the damn thing could pose as much of a threat.

How could a little boy pose so much of a threat to the point where he couldn't sleep at night? Even in the comforts of his own home, in his bed, he could still feel the glowing eyes of a tall and slender figure staring right down at him.

Every. Night.

Vanessa wasn't much help, not with her constant nightmares, all the old man could do was just sit back and accept it. Accept the consequences of his actions, accept that there probably is an afterlife and he’ll go to Hell, and accept that he won't be able to take much more of this until he breaks.

But a man has to come to certain conclusions ever now and then.

He’s a businessman, a single father, the man of the house, a man with so much potential all crunched up by a little boy who cried too long and hard.

A little boy...

A crybaby, even.

There's a better way to this.

A smarter way.

Old man Afton encouraged him to be a true man and face his difficulties head on, not just cry about them. He knows better than to let a child, of all people, bring him down when he has so much to offer the world. So maybe he can manufacture something to help him sleep better at night.

It wasn't easy.

To create something as important and secret as this machine.

So many hours were spent sketching and creating even the slightest factors to get it correct. Carving and procuring the proper materials, painting the ideal colors, and even playing the right music to ensure that every note was played exactly to tune. Even yet, as William placed the final piece on top of the animatronic, he smiled proudly at the sight of a red top hat.

"There ya' go," he said as he patted the animatronic's crimson cheek, gleefully watching as its eyes glowed with a ginger tint.

It looked beautiful.

Black fur, grey undertones, crimson highlights, and sparkling stars shined even in the darkest of nights.

“Beautiful, just beautiful.”

The bear stared down at the older man, its thoughts not on how the exhaustion had taken its toll. Not the sweat, the unkept hair, the patchy beard, or even the bags under his eyes. It had no negative thoughts against its creator nor did it have positive ones.

It just had one goal in mind.

FNAF MOVIE THEORY AND RAMBLING (spoilers with some images and quotes)

Okay so, idk where to start but i'll try to make everything that i say connect, starting with Garrett, Mike's lost brother.

We see the exact moment he was taken, just playing around and the next second he was in a car that was driving off. But there was no screaming, not even a scared face from Garrett, this is a kid who's not sure why his brother is chasing the car with so much fear.

We obviously know at the end of the movie that William was the one that did it, but there was never an explanation of why. He did say ''First i killed your brother. Now i'll kill you'', but how did he know about Mike's brother? It could be Vanessa that told him about Mike's brother, but there was something off about William since the beginning of the movie, before Vanessa even knew Mike.

Mike is searching for a job and ''Steve'' is looking thru his records and saying he's trying to figure out who he is. Well, that's exactly what he does when he reads his name. He quickly looks up to him in a shocked way, even getting a closer look at Mike like he was trying to recognize his face which he probably does because he starts acting weird and nervous, then he is very insisting on giving him the job that he knows will surely kill him.

But then again, how does he know Mike and Garrett? The name Schmit could be one of the reasons and just looking at Mike's face is a confirmation. Now this is where i start with my theory.

Garrett was taken just like Charlie in the games, no one was looking and then a car just passed by to use that opportunity, making them the first victims in the movie and games respectively.

Now, that gives the possibility that Garrett's father was somehow connected to William, perhaps as a friend or coworker, because why would William go to a place as far away as the woods just to kidnap and kill a random child if the pizzeria was the safest option? He had a reason to target his friend's son, I can't think of one rn, but that could mean Garrett's dad takes the rol of Henry. Explaining why William recognizes Mike, he was the older son of his friend, the brother of his first victim.

As a bonus, that could explain why Garret didn't scream or looked scared and everything happened so fast. He just saw a familiar face, someone his dad knew and wasn't really a stranger.

William says to Mike at the end ''You couldn't just leave it alone, could you?'', he knows what he did and thinks Mike was trying to go after him (i mean, he was looking for him thru his dreams, but something tells me William thinks he was searching for him irl, that's why he's shocked when he sees him right in his office, the thinks Mike finally found him but my guy was just trying to look for a job lmao).

Now getting a little crazier, in the credits we hear some words that say ''COME FIND ME'', who do we need to find? the children? We already know where they are. William? Let that mf be trapped where he is. The only one we don't know where it ended up was Garrett, but where is he? Maybe that music box at the end is an indication that Puppet is present, and the possibility of having some things related to the games could mean that Garrett may or may not be related to the puppet. (Coffcoff Garret being the Puppet just like Charlie).

Now for some silly stuff: I really think this is an AU where William and Henry swap children, Henry has 3 and William only has one. Of course William would have a normal life after killing kids and ruining Henry's life, he doesn't have to worry about his children killing each other, he just takes care of one who can be easily manipulated and lives a normal life as a career counselor. Giving his trophy (the pizzeria) people who can keep it safe.

Meanwhile Henry's family suffers just like the game but with extra steps, but I also think that Mike and Garret having a good relationship is proof of good parenting, not like the games where Mike bullies his little brother and William doesn't give a fuck about them or Elizabeth. That's also my opinion that the movies could work without the bite of '83 or even sister location, all of that could be avoided with a loving family.

The family Michael Afton and his brothers needed, the one that they deserved.
