Why are we making the games noncanon too? I could deal with it if you were just like, "The books are an alternative timeline!" That's a reasonable idea that makes sense based on old stuff Scott said, but the idea that a GAME is noncanon has no precedent at all.

You could believe it's an in-universe game, sure, but why though? Why would this specifically be a different scenario from any other game?

Fucking Fnaf World is considered Canon by Scott. FNAF WORLD IS CANON!!! The idea that ITP isn't in the games universe is ridiculous and has no purpose beyond pissing everyone off.

There's no lore significance to it being an in-universe game, unlike potentially FNAF WORLD. There's no point in playing it because there's nothing there. If it's just a game within a confined universe, why would any fnaf fan like that? Scott is always going on about how he's always thinking about the fans, yet you expect me to believe he thought making his big 10th anniversary game not important in a franchise all about confusing lore in unexpected places is a reasonable concept?

I hate the books as much as the next guy. The very concept of having important lore locked behind an entirely different medium of storytelling is infuriating to me, but actually thinking anything related to the Fazbear’s Frights books is not important is just not remotely true.

They obviously have some level of relevance because Scott put the time and effort into making them fit between Fnaf 6 and Security Breach. They introduced concepts that could explain multiple characters, both new and old. They use established characters with little to no introduction, just assuming you know them already. It's just stupid to think Scott did this just because he wanted to.

I know it's cheesy to say this in the year 2024, almost 2025...

But Scott doesn't do coincidences

All of those dots connecting are intended to be connected. You're overcomplicating a simple solution that's starring you in the face because you don't like what it means, and you refuse to accept any form of idea that you're wrong.

The Into the Pit game is canon, so is likely Return to the Pit (as bizarre as it is). It's all part of the larger story of fnaf, and you have to accept that at some point, otherwise you'll never actually understand what is happening and keep making up horrible, unstable hypotheses that have no weight or well thought out storytelling.

I want it to be stated that this is not a hate post. I don't think people who think this game is noncanon should have a bomb under their pillow tonight, but having to see this amount of cope on a daily basis is just incredibly annoying imo. I'm tired of the debates, Scotty boy. Just go on reddit and say it clearly like you should have done a long time ago. Old Scott would have, you should too.

I've been sorta looking back on old fnaf recently and realized, "Hey, we never got an answer to if that was wires or hair!"

Like, is there proof it was just wires, or did Game Theory just say they were, so we all went with it? Did the Supreme guide mention it? Did any books mention it???

So I want y'alls opinions...
