The Good:

Elisa’s habit of going Lone Wolf and not talking to Matt is biting her on the ass, and Matt making if very clear he does NOT appreciate her shutting him out.  Consequences, I love it!

Art’s solid.

We get to see Brooklyn as leader, and his plan is solid.

Margot motherfuckin’ Yale.  I hate this woman, but I do love watching her work.

Turns out Dino Drakon is a SMART monster.  I do love a smart monster.  That or the heads of the other crime families are VERY stupid.  I’m... not ruling that one out.

The Bad:

Who the fuck is this guy who’s Goliath’s lawyer?  Have we EVER seen him before?  Why the hell did we get this stupid “It’s very obviously Dino Drakon kidnapped these kids” plot instead of, I dunno, showing Goliath MEETING with his lawyer?  Better still, we could have made Angela and Brooklyn planning their wedding and Lex flirting with Amp long distance one page so we could get Goliath interacting with his lawyer.

The overall pacing of the series remains bad.

Romeo and Juliet plot between two of the crime families.  UGH.

Tony Drakon having the cell across from Goliath.  Double Ugh.  I know this is to get the Clan drawn in to the Dino Drakon plot, but UGH.

I would find it so funny if Bruce Wayne, who has an ironic and slightly ridiculous disdain for the occult, had to grapple with his kids' deep belief in the occult. For instance, if one of their siblings went missing with no leads, Bruce would insist on a new search strategy while the kids would be convinced they should at least consult a medium once to get proof of life. The medium would call out Batman for his shitty energy and Bruce would contemplate all the life decisions that led to this.
