The company I work for is international and has a lot of different people working in/around/with it---not to mention that every division has slightly different ways of referring to the same groups of people (think "customers" vs. "clients" or "business partners" vs. "vendors"). In response to all this vocabulary shifting, I have adopted the most American approach possible:
Everybody gets referred to as "folks."
.........this does have the added bonus of making the Europeans lose their ever-loving minds, which I think is funny only fair.
