Hi Zoey,
Would you like to do a Spicy One shot or Spicy Headcanon on Gar Saxon (Clone Wars version) x Reader.
He's a character that I really appreciate on the Mandalorian side and we see very few Fic on him.
I love your writing and I thought you would have a good idea for this character. 😍
Thank you so much.😁
Aloha!
I don't know much about this guy, only the few times we see him in TCW and Rebels. But I'd love to dive in and make my very own wild guess. Let me start with some basic HCs to get a feel for this guy 😊
Gar Saxon - Spicy Headcanons
Warnings: Suggestive/Mention Of Sexual Activities, Kinks And Such/Dominance/18+
________________
This man is tough, unyielding, dangerous, a warrior. But he is not only passionate in battle. A look under the surface also shows that he feels intensely once you open his shell. But don't be fooled, he is still Gar Saxon, he is in control.
How he approaches you, the object of desire:
Once you have aroused his interest, be prepared that he is very engaging. He romances you in quite a demanding way. He is very direct, and be aware, he is full of himself. Gar does not hide what he wants, and what he wants is you. He flirts intensely and bluntly, approaches you, small touches underline his interest, just like his deep, slightly smoky tone he uses. He is a seducer.
Don't play shy or disinterested for too long, Gar is not of the patient kind. For a few weeks he may play the game, woo you, flirt, compliment you, but eventually frustration sets in, and he flirts with others in your presence to show you that he can theoretically have whoever he wants.
Dom/Sub/Switch?
Gar is not a switch. He is in control at all times. The dominant role is where he feels comfortable, when he has you under control, and you are writhing in ecstasy. He loves it when you adore him, act submissive and read his every wish from his lips.
Rough Or Soft?
Gar can actually do, and enjoy both. Even in his dominant role, he can be gentle with you. But either way, one of the first things you two discuss regarding your intimacies is a safe-word, just in case.
Selfish Or Generous?
In fact, he's a bit of both, even if he enjoys your submissiveness and is sometimes a bit condescending, degrading even, it's all part of the game. Foreplay is long, extensive, and even if he is in control, you can count on having at least one orgasm during foreplay alone. He'll never surrender control, but he won't let you fall short either.
Foreplay:
Gar is anything but lazy, the more he can drive you out of your mind, the better. He enjoys that power he has over you as he licks out your pussy, and you moan, squirm and barely hold on to yourself. There are days when he fingers and licks you until you can't cum anymore, and almost beg him to stop.
Favorite position:
Practically any pose in which he is dominant. However, he prefers to have you under him, your feet on his shoulders, your knees pressed down almost to your own shoulders, practically folded under him. In this pose, he feels like he can penetrate you especially deeply and have you completely under his control.
Kinks:
Praise-Kink when you look up at him, on your knees, about to give him a proper blowjob, and tell him how wonderful his cock is. Or you're lying under him and moaning in his ear how perfectly he takes you, it's like balm for his soul, spurring him on and increasing his arousal.
Dom/sub kink, as mentioned before, he likes to be very dominant and likes it when you submit to him erotically, playfully. Just to make one thing clear, he does not expect this submission from you in everyday life, only in bed it brings the extra kick. In this context, he also likes to tie you up,
Dirty talk turns him on, if you have it in you to talk submissively but suggestively, to offer yourself to him verbally as well, you have him in the mood immediately, from 0 to 100 in just a few words.
Sexdrive:
Very high, way above average. It can happen at any time, in almost any place, that he suddenly gets in touch with you. It's not necessarily a kink, but he doesn't mind doing it in public places. He doesn't really mind if you get caught either.
His Love Language:
Protection. One of the greatest labors of love he gives you is his protection. He will stand up to anything and anyone if necessary, for him, it is a matter of honor to protect the beloved partner at any cost. But it does not always have to be a matter of life or death. Anyone who dares to even look at you wrong or get the stupid idea to say something foul to you, should quickly seek the distance.
Attention is another sign, Gar has a certain arrogance about him, but he listens too, you certainly do not always agree, but he will never ignore you.
Gifts. He brings you something from every trip he has to make without you, from every battle. Sometimes it's small gestures that just show you he's thinking of you, but sometimes it's very special, expensive things.
Jealousy:
Gar is probably one of the most jealous people you will ever meet, maybe even the most jealous. He checks every person who comes near you carefully, keeping an eye on everything. When you go out alone, you always have an escort breathing down your neck to keep an eye on you, just in case.
He claims that this is not about the trust he has in you, but about the fact that he does not trust others whom you might meet. Should someone hit on you, it will be stopped very quickly, even with violence, Gar does not hold back. Admirers should be very, very careful if they want to stay alive.
________
AC:
As I said, I don't know too much about Saxon, but this is what my mid came up with, reviewing what I saw/heard/read about him. I hope that's not too far from what you imagined.

Rebels Rewatch: "Heroes of Mandalore"
Some familiar TCW faces as we close up the darksaber arc.
Live reaction version.
Sabine's transformation into co-protagonist is nearly complete, as it's the end of her darksaber arc that starts us out this season.
Also, you know, the Season Four trailers framing the whole of Rebels as the story of "A boy who was lost and a girl who was broken".
Not that I minded as it meant that Ezra and Sabine would be spending a lot of screentime together. :D
After not really touching on it in a while, Fenn Rau's courtesy hand on Kanan's shoulder to let him know he's signaled a stop was a nice little way of demonstrating Kanan's blindness and the accommodations other characters make for him.
Ezra finally has that jetpack he's been wanting lol.
I reserve the right to be giddy about the fact that Ezra is literally Sabine's right-hand man. And also that she painted him another Scout Trooper helmet.
Kanan showing off with the Force Leaps there, which Fenn Rau lampshades.
And now we're introduced to Tiber Saxon, Gar's less interesting more fanatical brother.
A+ mid battle banter. I do distinctly remember being delighted by all the playful quipping and snarking back and forth when this first aired, and it's still cute now.
Once again all it takes for Ezra to surrender is someone threatening Sabine. <3
I... I'm sorry, apparently I'm going to be Obnoxious Obsessed Sabezra Shipper for this rewatch, let me attempt not to comment on just them and their stupid faces and every time they interact.
Lol is one of the Kryze Mandos Naruto-running?
That was an awfully quick search of the base there, guys.
"Bo-Katan was made regent by the Jedi before the end of the Clone War." For all of what, one day? Lol.
I do have quibbles about Bo-Katan's characterization here in Rebels, at times it seems like it's assuming more character development than we actually see happen, when we eventually get back around to telling the story of the Siege of Mandalor.
I do find it kind of funny that SO many people were expecting Sabine to have an arc where she becomes Mand'alor when literally the second episode she actually had the darksaber she was immediately like, "Nope it's not me, I'm just holding it for whoever will be the true leader." Course I guess they expected that in this episode she would take up the mantle.
No dice and frankly I am not interested in that kind of plotline unless Ezra gets to be an accessory to it. (I uh... I have a thing about the Royal Maiden/Steadfast Knight dynamic.)
Ezra playing therapist again. <3 Nice to see it go over better than in "Trials of the Darksaber", Sabine is learning to be more open with her thoughts and feelings.
Kanan attempting the playful teasing banter he usually has with Hera (that Ezra and Sabine are suddenly very adept at now, what) but she shuts it down. This is another quibble I have about Season Four, I do not understand Kanan and Hera's sudden awkwardness and Will They/Won't They? when previously it seemed like they had been depicted as already a settled matter. Not really overt but comfortable and resolved. This weird walkback feels like a way to add drama and tension to Kanan's eventual death, and I really don't think it needed that?
The way I usually reconcile it is by headcanoning that Hera conceived Jacen in the three weeks between S3 and S4 and she's been standoffish and cagey about it because she doesn't quite know know yet and she's being anxious and worried and preoccupied and prickly as a result. I headcanon this because it's been my own experience when the husband and I have, ahem, not exactly been careful and had not had more kids in the plans.
Anyway.
Sorry is this not how the scene went? Lol.
Alrich immediately knows it's his baby girl aww.
Huh, I'd forgotten the side pockets on these transports could be used to stick extra troopers. Neat.
This is pretty nicely staged, a lot of fast smooth movement with the jetpacks, Sabine using the bike as cover was a clever touch. The speed of everything is really on display.
Love this hero cue when Kanan ignites his saber and enters the fray. Every character gets a nice little moment of being awesome.
Even Chopper gets to be a flying menace, clonking that one Trooper on the head with a blaster lol.
IF NO SUPPOSED TO SHIP LITERALLY WHAT EVEN IS THIS "SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND." MOMENT?
And ooop, show just stabbed me with Sabine's frantic worried, "Ezra! Get out of there!" and my brain went straight to the finale you guys really need to stop doing this to me.
<3333333
Little shit even gets in a cheeky, "Was wondering where you were." I love him.
And Kanan and Ezra look so happy for her awww.
Tiya's acting when Sabine realizes her weapon is on the battlefield is very nice. Sabine sounds horrified and heartbroken and scared.
Sabine's theme drawing out in long slow mournful notes here.
I'm actually really glad they didn't kill off Ursa and Tristan. It would have meant basically nothing since neither of them were developed enough characters for us to care and also I really didn't need another How To Train Your Dragon 2 Stoick/Valka gutpunch in my life.
Never kill off your characters unless you can tell more story with them gone than you can with them there.
Sabine's showing more emotion than we've seen out of her since "Trials of the Darksaber" oof.
Sabine getting a little bit distracted in her anger and grief and needing a nudge from Kanan. She's going to struggle with this a bit this episode.
It's cute how Bo-Katan kind of implies that Ezra should fly out with her to take down the TIEs.
This poor boy looks so consternated with all these crazy Mando shenanigans lol.
Yeah no, watching the Dutchess in action does not get any better.
Thrawn being all Villain Admirer of the Spectres again, while also picking at Tiber Saxon's logic here. It's basically the same logic and line of objections he has to the Death Star, that it's a bloated and inefficient waste of resources and will create more Rebels than it can kill. Thrawn is trying to point out, "Yeah so this literally insults the honor of a hot-headed quarrelsome proud warrior race culture how exactly is this supposed to quell them from rebelling again?"
Awww.
Ezra immediately gearing up to fight Bo-Katan to protect Sabine. <3 And then the other Clan Kryze members a minute later. <3
"Down boy."
You know something I haven't commented on is just how washed out Mandalore looks. Like, Lothal is covered with brown plains too but there's so much more life and color in them. Like the difference between Kansas farmlands and a nuclear testing site.
There's some kind of unspoken history here between Rau and Bo-Katan in the way they interact which... intrigues me. They talk like old friends and I would definitely like to know more about how they know each other.
With Bo-Katan's little speech here, I do see how people were expecting Sabine to be set up to be Mand'alor.
Something darkly ironic in Sabine naming a superweapon after a pacifist.
Tiber channeling his best Imperial fanatic here. What an ass.
This shot was apparently a visual shoutout to a similar one in TCW's "The Lawless", with Obi-Wan Kenobi. Not the last time Ezra and Obi-Wan would be paralleled.
Tiber really shouldn't have let Sabine have access to her own weapon, that was a stupid move.
Ooooh there's more on that theme of "We make deals with the Empire to survive." Tiber honey that never works out for anyone.
Sabine modifies the weapon all right, but Tiber's eagerness to use it after she warned him not to is hoist by own petard poetry.
BOY IT SURE IS A GOOD THING SABINE DIDN'T SET THE WEAPON TO FULL POWER OUT OF REVENGE. JUST IMAGINE WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED IF SHE LET HER ANGER DRIVE HER TO DO THAT?
OH WAIT I DON'T HAVE TO IMAGINE, TVTROPES HAS ME COVERED.
THANKS TVTROPES. THANKS FOR THAT BIT OF FRIDGE HORROR.
Sabine does still have a very mean vengeful streak in her even after all her years living with Jedi so it takes a bit of prodding from Bo-Katan (of all people) to talk her down from this wrath moment.
We can count that whole Star Destroyer as Sabine's kill right? Lol, she's catching up to you Chopper, better murder some more capital ships.
"The Empire will send everything they have to crush Mandalore." Haaaaaaaaaaaaa. *cringes in The Mandalorian's account of The Purge*
Honestly I think the reason they had Sabine give Bo-Katan the darksaber was because they didn't want to have to write around Sabine being absent again lolol. Having to stay and be the leader of a whole planet would have definitely taken Sabine away from the front lines of the wider Rebellion and more importantly taken her away from her crew and family and like hell were they going to let the Spectres go back to Lothal without her.
Ngl, I ship it a little bit.
This could have been a little more earned, not gonna lie.
IF NO SUPPOSED TO SHIP LITERALLY WHAT EVEN IS THIS??!!?
I'll be honest I'm not really invested in the Mandalorian side of things in fandom so while a lot of these action sequences were pretty cool visually I didn't have much emotional connection unless characters I already knew and loved were onscreen. I'm at least happy we got the arc done and over with and cleared up the rest of the season for other, more interesting (to me) things.
I've got no real thoughts on Bo-Katan, she's fine in this episode but like I said, inconsistent with her other appearances, I don't mind her being leader and having the darksaber but I would have liked her characterization to have more of a coherent throughline from TCW to Rebels to The Mandalorian.
Let's be honest I'm mostly just here for the Ezra/Sabine bits. <3
Next up, field trip with Crazy Uncle Saw!

paint bombs, pixie cuts, and elopements........
hehehehe
This is my Sabezra Medieval AU! (it's the sequel to Matchmaking, Mad Science, And Accidental Child Acquisition, which is a TCW/JFO/SWR Medieval AU.) PBPCAE has gone through SO many variations and plans and ideas and four or five times I've thought I might actually have the story 100% figured out until I stumbled over a plot hole and got stuck, but I finally went back to the beginning and thought it out, and i've actually got an ACTUAL plan now, so I'll ramble about it instead of sharing a snippet!
So, the backstory of it is this: Sabine is Viscountess Wren, heiress to Clan Wren. Ezra is an orphan who was found, rescued, and eventually adopted by Kanan (aka Prince Caleb Dume of Jedha) and Hera! Ezra and Sabine meet as children (she's 7, he's 5) in book 1 and get along like a house on fire. After the events of book one, they keep in touch--I haven't decided for certain, but Sabine might actually live in Jedha for a while.
Fast forward in time to the beginning of PBPCAE. Sabine is a young woman, just old enough to marry, and Ursa is discussing potential political matches with her. Now, up until this point, sabine had never ever considered marrying ezra, but then her mom goes and says "Sabine, I may as well be clear from the start. You will not be permitted to marry that Jedhan boy you're constantly running around with."
Sabine's response?
After some confusion, embarrassment, hilarity, and a trip to Jedha, Sabine manages to convince Ezra that This Is A Great Idea Actually. But there's a problem.
Jedha and Mandalore both have very complicated marriage customs and requirements. And Sabine knows her mother will use any objection she can. So Act 1 of the story is Sabine and Ezra doing a deep dive into Jedhan and Mandalorian law (with the assistance of Cal Kestis, Resident Nerd) and kind of go on a bunch of quests to make sure there can be no nitpicky legal objections whatsoever (i.e. they have to convince kanan to adopt ezra the mandalorian way as well as the jedhan way so that ezra would be considered actual royalty and therefore a good political match), while also keeping it a total secret so Ursa can't step in and stop them. The secrecy leads to some comedy due to Sabine and Ezra both being very bad at making up excuses as to where they've been sneaking off to.
Finally, they've settled every objection, and are preparing ye olde powerpointe presentatione on "Why You Should Approve Of This" for Ursa when a visiting Mandalorian with a bit of a grudge against Sabine sets her up, resulting in an Incident that nearly ruins Sabine's reputation, and causes Ursa to summon her daughter back home.
War breaks out in Mandalore.
Sabine and Ezra don't see each other for two years.
Enter Act 2.
The war ends, and Ezra and his family (which includes young Jacen!) are invited to Mandalore's Winter Court as part of the celebrations. (I haven't decided what plot reason there is for them to be there lol.) Ezra is ecstatic to see Sabine again, though he's a little nervous that two years will make things awkward, especially with their secret marriage plans between them (and the fact that, during their time apart, he came to terms with the realization that he had feelings for her. His friends Luke and Han, who know about the secret, have been giving him (extremely bad) advice on How To Woo Your Future Wife.)
'Tis not to be.
The first news Ezra gets upon arrival is that Sabine is engaged.
To be specific, Sabine is engaged to Carthage, the philandering slimeball son of Gar Saxon---and the same guy who set her up and nearly ruined her two years before. She's not happy about it, but it was part of the conditions of the peace treaty, and so she can't call off the engagement without a mutual agreement.
(Ezra is, understandably, heartbroken. He can't even be happy for Sabine because her fiance is a lousy person!)
Then yet another Incident happens and suddenly the whole Winter Court is convinced that Sabine is carrying on with Ezra behind Carthage's back. Carthage is mad.
Wait a second, Sabine thinks. This could be my ticket out of here.
So, in an attempt to make Carthage upset enough that he willingly agrees to cancel the engagement, Sabine and Ezra play themselves up as a starcrossed romance between a noblewoman in an arranged marriage and the peasant boy who became a prince and who also happens to be her childhood friend---basically they use all the dramatic tropes they can. Half of the Winter Court is scandalized by their behavior, and the other half is like it's the romance of the century!!!!
And when even that doesn't work?
Well...
There's always elopement.
#thank you for the ask!!#star wars medieval au#sabezra#jessica's writing nonsense#(there's also a whole act 3 about the elopement process and the shenanigans that happen along the way but that part has spoilers)#(and there's dramatic love confessions!)#(and also a surprising amount of political intrigue!)

Things we know about Bo-Katan Kryze:
-Bo’s problematic.
-Bo’s fierce.
-Bo’s a savage warrior.
-Bo was a teen terrorist.
-Bo’s clearly gay (the sexual objectification of Ahsoka Tano followed by that intense slap on the ass that resulted in Ahsoka jumping 4 feet in the air sort of solidified that in my mind -that was a terrible episode, BTW… f*^%ing awful, but I’ve covered that… moving on).
-Bo sister, Satine, ruled Mandalore for a time, but Bo Katan had zero chill while this was happening (as if she’s ever had any chill), and it caused a familial rift.
-Bo turned a new leaf when Maul killed Pre Visla, the leader of Death Watch.
-Bo and Satine reconciled right before Satine’s death, and Bo saved Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Mauldalorians.
-Bo is obsessed with ruling Mandalore.
-Bo convinced Ahsoka to help her recapture Mandalore by teaming up to capture Maul (someone neither of them liked).
-Bo-Katan and Ahsoka have some intense homoerotic chemistry between them. Maybe it was the from their first meeting? I don’t know. It’s undeniable though.
-Bo-Katan ruled Mandalore before Gar Saxon fucked her over by selling Mandalore out to the Empire.
-Bo has an affinity for Clan Wren…despite threatening Sabine for building that super weapon that melted Beskar.
-Bo-Katan has these weird moments of diplomacy amongst her generalized tendency to be completely feral.
-At the end of the day, Bo is still oddly like Satine in a lot of ways.
-Bo attempted to rule Mandalore a second time with the Dark Saber and lost it.
-Bo is a bottom.
-Bo is likely in her mid-to-late 40s in The Mandalorian.
-Bo-Katan is the last of her line.
-Bo is obsessed with the Dark Saber.
-Bo’s redemption arc was/is incredible.
Which brings me to the things we don’t know about Bo-Katan Kryze:
-Is Bo going to be an antagonist to Din Djarin?
-Are Bo-Katan and Ahsoka still sleeping together? I mean, Bo does know where Ahsoka is on her hunting adventure and that fact doesn’t freak Ahsoka out (we won’t get an answer to this because the folks at Disney are cowards, but the subtext will do… it was pretty loud and clear in the last season of TCW, so we’ll make due with whatever, I guess).
-Why TF is Bo-Katan seen on the Mandalorian throne with a blanket in the S3 trailers? Is Bo sleeping on the throne? Is Bo afraid that someone is going to take it while she sleeps in a bed? Mandalore is in ashes, so why would they? Did Ahsoka kick Bo out of the bedroom? WTF? Why!? Why is this happening?
-Is Bo slipping into complete madness?
-Is Bo actually going to go reverse on her redemption arc after having one so epically compelling?
-If Bo is the enemy, will she survive The Mandalorian Season 3?
-Will Bo and Din just end up being friends for the sake of Mandalore?
-WTF IS GOING ON WITH BO-KATAN!? What are they doing to her?

Who should be Mand'alor?
I'd like to begin with one vital point.
Din having the Darksaber doesn't make him Mand'alor. If I have to make this an automatic message from my blog every week, so help me. Please, I'm begging you - go watch Rebels if you don't believe me. That isn't how the Darksaber works. That's NEVER how the Darksaber worked. It was passed down person to person in the Vizsla family line for generations. Sometimes a Mand'alor had it. In legends, if you defeated a Mand'alor in combat, you could become the new Mand'alor. But the Darksaber didn't always get won from one Mand'alor to another Mand'alor. It's a heirloom of House Vizsla more than a Mand'alor sceptor. Here's a recap of how many times the Darksaber changed hands from The Great Clan Wars (which Jango Fett and Bo-Katan's father fought in) to the present timeline: 1)Tor Vizsla (who founded Death Watch) had the Darksaber *while* Jastor Mereel was Mand'alor. It was entrusted to 2)Pre Vizsla after Tor died. Pre was immediately defeated by 3)Maul in battle. 4)Sabine found it and learned to use it. It was taken by 5)Gar Saxon, and then she won it back from him in battle. 6)Sabine, as its rightful owner, entrusted it to 7)Bo-Katan, who accepted it only after the rest of the clans united to follow her lead to defeat the Empire. When the Purge happened, 8)Gideon took it (he most certainly did not win it from her in single combat). 9)Din won it in battle from Gideon. He could decide to keep it or to give it up. He wanted to entrust it to Bo-Katan once more, but Bo would not accept it again because some of her people have come to think that the *only* way to be its rightful owner is to win it in combat. Bo wielded it again to defend Din, but chose to return it to him, even though one could argue she had a claim to it. In summary, out of the last 8 different people to wield the Darksaber, only Bo-Katan has been an actual Mand'alor.
Also, I'd like to remind the fan base that Din doesn't have to become Mand'alor just because he's the main character. I'm not saying that he couldn't or that he shouldn't, though, I'd honestly prefer he didn't, at this point. If he becomes Mand'alor, he's pretty much going to be tied up in rebuilding and reconstruction efforts forever. Can you imagine Din Djarin in Greef's shoes? Me neither. Din Djarin's shebs are not suited for a throne, but maybe that's just me. I could see him as more of a Protector, like Fenn Rau. They were comprised of Mandalorians from all clans. I think Grogu would also be suited to that role.
Bo-Katan is a natural leader, which we have seen time and time again in TCW, Rebels, and The Mandalorian. The repeated failures of the Mandalorians to throw off the yoke of the Empire were not because of her failures as a leader. Rebellions are not always successful, but those who survive the aftermath can rebuild. Bo-Katan had kept faith in her people and the dream of restoring their civilization. When the last of her followers lost faith in that cause, it all but extinguished her hope.
But then Din Djarin came strolling down her halls and asked to join her. She bitterly told him there was nothing to join. She was alone. But when he needed help, she came without hesitation. And then when her home was destroyed, he offered her a place in his home and with his people. She soon realized that - though their beliefs were very orthodox - these Mandalorians still believed in a restored Mandalore. And as effortlessly as she always has, she became a leader among them.
Bo-Katan's failures have never been due to her inability to lead...but rather because of the insurmountable odds that have been against them all from the beginning. But here and now, in the breath of space between Empire and First Order, the Mandalorians have a chance to rebuild and gain strength once more. They have an opportunity to remake themselves into something better than what they were - hopefully, even do away with the archaic system of feudal clans and shoguns and create a new, sustainable system of government that can pave the way for future generations of warriors and non-warriors alike.

RIP Ray Stevenson. Only just heard he passed away.
If some can't recall, he's Gar Saxon's VA in TCW and his last role is the Dark Jedi in the upcoming Ahsoka Series.
He also starred in films like Thor and The Punisher.
May the Force be with you.

Love the people questioning if we're going by elder wand rules on my darksaber poll like guys how the fuck am I supposed to know that's why I made it. That's the joke. That the writers themselves can't make up their mind on that. Lucas and Filoni made the Mandalore episodes in TCW and Lucas was presumably just like "give the Mandalorian leader a black lightsaber" cause it's cool so they just say Pre Vizsla's ancestors stole it from the Jedi temple during the Old Republic era and Lucas probably didn't think too hard about it beyond that and that was literally the only backstory it got until like 7 years later in Rebels season 3 where they established that it's Mandalorian Excalibur and now it's a mess. Maul officially initiates a challenge and wins it and then gets defeated multiple times but retains ownership of it implying you have to actually initiate a challenge first, then Sabine just steals it then Gar Saxon steals it and she kicks his ass and takes it back and gives it to Bo-Katan implying that they're dropping the "win it in combat" angle altogether, then Din beats Gideon without even knowing anything about it and suddenly the "win it in combat" rule matters again. The rules are whatever the fuck they need to be for the current story. Welcome to Star Wars.
#like the fact that the rules are so vague and inconsistent is why i included the '' can they have a normal government'' option#the entire poll is a joke and that option is the punchline#shut up tristan

from the ask list thing— bo-katan, for whichever ones you want/all:D
Aaaaa thank you! I did almost all of them but left out a few that I couldn't think of anything good for. Without further ado--
— a fun headcanon
She is really good at video games, especially FPS and strategy games (naturally.) She grew up kind of a loner and spent most of her teens holed up in her room not knowing what to do with herself, and this was one of her major pastimes.
— a sad headcanon
The scar on her forehead came from a near-miss of being fatally stabbed during an attack on the palace during the civil war, when she was only about 6-7. Fortunately she managed to dodge just enough for the blade to graze her skin and nothing worse. (I have a lot of uh. much sadder headcanons from this same night/event, but I’m not revealing them yet because I want to turn them into a proper fic >:D )
— a headcanon that canon doesn't disprove (yet lol, this could change in mando s3 now that we’re getting more Bo history)
She joined Death Watch ~4-5 years before TCW canon, but continued to feign a normal life in Sundari and a relationship (albeit a strained and not-very-close one) with Satine while actively double-crossing her and plotting to overthrow her behind her back. Satine didn’t find out any of this until right after the shit went down with Death Watch being exposed in general.
— a headcanon to spite canon, specifically
She is somewhere between 23-26 during TCW. Not 17. Not the same age as Satine. Early to mid 20’s. I will die on this hill.
— a headcanon about their family
Mom Kryze was not born a Mandalorian, she was the eldest daughter of a prominent Kalevalan noble family, and was adopted into the culture when she married Adonai... who was not a Duke until he married into her family, just an influential warlord and the head of clan Kryze.
— a missing scene that definitely happened
Not so much a headcanon but a speculation… something fucking intense must have gone down for her to lose the darksaber to Moff Gideon because?? she’s amazing at weilding it as we now see???
— I recognize canon has made a decision, but given that it's a stupid-ass decision, I've elected to ignore it (+ what should have happened)
This is a bit controversial but in my headcanons, I tend to massively dial down her regret, deradicalization, and general arc towards redemption in favor of keeping her unhinged and villainous, just a bit more subdued with age. She’s just so fun and entertaining to me when she’s terrible….. I am happy with the direction they're taking her in current canon too though!
— something they believe about [other character] that isn't true
I headcanon that she had a lot of irrational, sometimes bordering on delusional, hate for her sister that often wasn’t based on anything true, but was founded on a twisted and dramatized misinterpretation of things she believed to be true about Satine and her actions, intentions, ideology, etc.
— their happiest memory
Having her dad's armor reforged to fit her and putting it on for the first time. I feel like it was kind of a “second birth” moment for her.
— favorite fanon relationship
I fucking live for anyone who writes Death Watch era Bo and Gar Saxon as antagonistic barely-frenemies who constantly give each other hell, I don’t know why it’s so funny and perfect to me but it is
— favorite should have been canon relationship
God. listen. not to get on my bullshit but Bo/Pre Vizsla…. Yes as a romantic ship because I'm trash of them, but I also just think more of their relationship and their past together “should have been canon” in the sense that I wish it was explained and fleshed out more, no matter what the nature of their relationship was. I’m dying to know what their history is, how they met, how Bo joined Death Watch, how she ended up his second-in-command, etc. I’m happy with my headcanons but I want to know what officially went down too!

Interesting!
I got my Mando-addicted friend to watch TCW for the mandalorian arcs. When she finished it, I was expecting to hear about Gar Saxon, Bo Katan or Pre Viszla. But instead the first thing she thirsted to me about was Rex 🤣🤣🤣
I only wanted to answer in reblog but it got so long i decided to make a separate post. But it had me thinking about media consumerism and how it could affect the open-mindedness for different shows soooo...
Here is a guide to...
HOW TO GET SOMEONE TRAPPED IN THE CLONE HELL
... not entirely a guide but more like an observation.
If we want to look at the problem with the fast-paced media consumer viewpoint, I think starting with the Bad Batch it's actually not a bad idea for someone who never watched Star Wars animated media before. It's sad but cartoons, animations can repulse people to watch things because they link them to child stories, something only a child would watch, also most of the people prefer live action instead of animated stuff. Especially if the said movie/series is quite old. cont. under the cut...
There could be a reason why people are not interested in clones
If a friend, family member, boyfriend/girlfriend/whatever only saw the movies and were not interested in TCW before, had not seen it as a child on TV, they will probably have prejudice against the clones. - They weren't the main characters in the movies therefor we have not seen them interacting that much with the main cast. - But even if you don't know star wars, you will probably know the clones for Order 66, white armored assholes who murdered the jedi aka good guys. And when the movies came out, inhibitor chips weren't in the picture. ---> this observations came while watching TCW with my dad who didn't like the clones because for this exact same reason: the clones basicly serve antagonist without question in a world where rules were set: jedi are good, sith are evil. -> I don't care that it is more complex that. It is what was shown. While he enjoyed the clone-centric episodes, he still stood at his point. They killed the jedi. End of story. - People have different interests :'(((((((
THE CLONE WARS 2003
Why do I recommend this first.
You can always say it's made by the same guy who made Samurai Jack. Strategically speaking Clone Wars 2003 would be a good starting point despite not being canon anymore because TCW is adapting some of the stories shown here. It recaps well what happened between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. Also this is the first media where Asajj Ventress and Grievous were introduced, and where you can actually see Grievous in his prime, an absolutely terrifying foe who actually can mop the floor with the jedi. Lots of jedi were introduced here which later also appeared in TCW. Why is this important: Having familiarity with the characters shown in memorable scenes helps that you will recognise them later in other media. Like... Hey it's the jedi dude who stripped in the middle of a fight! Hey, aren't these the same guys who mutated an entire village out of fun who kidnapped Echo??? And so on. TIME: 25 x 5 minutes episodes full of action so it keeps up the interest, and... FORDO. 5 minutes of full clone badassery. While TCW emphasises on the theme that the clones are living, feeling human beings who can die exactly like a human, in CW2003 they are shown like really the badass super soldiers (especially the ARC Troopers) who were bred for war. How much time it takes an episode to watch is an important factor. Because someone who binge watches 10 x 1 hour long netflix series under one day without sleep, drink, eat is not a guarantee that they will be able to sit through 133 x 22 minutes episodes. The sheer numbers will scare them away, nobody has a time watch 133 episodes when you can watch like... 5 different series instead! STORY TELLING COMPARED TO TCW: CW2003 goes for mostly visual story telling instead of talking. It's suspenseful, it's scenic, it's extreme, sometimes silly (rocket-launcher clone in the elevator with zero fuck given is still my favorite) but it's guarantee that you will remember. TCW episodes are varying from episodic to two-to-four episode arcs, it has silly comic relief episodes, it has serious dark episodes, obligatory beach episode, obligatory valentine day episode, obligatory school festival episodes obligatory-just kidding lol , so the lenght of one story can be varying, so is the quality of them. So unless you have a hyperfixation, or are a completionist, or interested enough, the episodes - in psychologycal term -, won't urge you the continue. Because in one 22 minutes episode you got a complete story without cliffhanger it won't make you think, because all the questions asked in the beginning of the episode was answered at the end. It won't rush you to continue, because you know that probably the next episode will be about an entire different conflict. You can stop anytime without the feeling of "just one more episode, just one more episode". Also, it doesn't help that you know how the story will end if you saw Revenge of the Sith. The forementioned uglyness... It took me years to finish TCW. I hated when it came out back in 2009 despite loving Star Wars and CW2003 and only after a decade picked up my interest again, it still took me years to finish it anyway. Back then, I really hated how everything got quickly 3D in neglection of 2D. But can't say it's ugly because it's old, it was ugly when it came out! You really have to force yourself to accept how it looks until you are fine with it, because your eyes got used to it. Also some episodes were boring, not entertaining, I just lost interest and only came back later to continue and I even forgot what happened before. I can't remember most of the arc expect those I was interested in to rewatch it again in the last years. Yes, the quality will improve. Season 7 is beautiful. The visuals of Bad Batch is also beautiful. But between season 6 and season 7, years passed.
THE BAD BATCH
Why do I recommend TBB for someone who ain't got time for shit™:
- TBB season are 16 episodes long. It's friendlier than 133 number wise. - There are only a few main characters to follow. It's important because when there are a large cast of characters, it's easy to get confused who is who and with literal CLONES as main characters, it's hard to distinguish them from each other. I know I can distinguished them, because I'm so fixated on them that every single verbal and non-verbal gesture they make will shoot me into outer space. - The Batch uses popular character tropes, different looks, different voices and tones, so they are recognisable, therefore, you will remember them for the rest of the show. So it will be a chance that you will fall for at least one member of the batch. And then you'll be thirsting mess over one character and eventually you'll be staning all of them, and eventually you will seek out more contents, fanfics, fanarts, headcanons with them that will attract TCW characters or events as well that will lead further deep down into the clone-hell. --> You can start showing the Bad Batch arc TCW where Jesse, Kix, Rex, Cody is also present, so there are plenty of topic and characters to talk about later. Also... Who is this Echo guy, how did he end up here? You can show the Domino Squad episodes, Kamino arc, citadel arc... - This could be a double-edge sword, but TBB are shown resemblance to Delta Squad, Omega Squad and Null ARC troopers. You know Delta Squad from the Video Game, Republic Commando, while the Omegas and Nulls are the main characters of the book series with the same name by Karen Traviss. I say it's double edged, because without these fantastic characters we wouldn't have The Bad Batch, but also I can understand the fans who wanted the Deltas adapted properly instead. - In season 1, the "fillers" add to the story and the characters as well and they won't get episodic-amnesia. (they may have TCW amnesia though... yes, I look at you Echo.) - In Season 1, there is a clear conflict which shadow always lingers even if the plot of the episode does not directly touches it. - Returning characters from TCW like Rex and Gregor could make the consumer ask the questions: who are these guys and why are they important? Rex is cute, is there more episodes with him? Oh yes, my dear prey friend, there is a whole series about him. - I only say season 1 because I'm not entirely satisfied how season 2 were handled while I enjoyed the first one. My hyperfixation for TCW last year literally started with Bad Batch. The trailer was so misleadingly awesome I wanted to watch it before season 2 would come out, but I wanted to finish TCW first (finally!). Season 6 and Season 7 were basicly binge watch and it got me interested again in the previous seasons too.
STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS 2008 (movie)
Why do I recommend this before TCW - It has Fox - Because sitting through a one-night movie is still easier than watching 133 episodes while maintaining the same quality of the show. - It has Fox - It shows the story how Ahsoka is introduced as Anakin's padawan the first time and we get a glimpse of their initial relationship and dynamic. - It has Fox - Basicly two arc in one movie but the introduced characters stay the same the entire time so you have time to get to know them, recognise them, and later you can remember them. - It has Fox - It has Fox.
TALES OF THE JEDI
It has that one episodes with the clones where they train Ahsoka. Possible questions could be asked: wtf happens at the END? Where is the rest of it? You can instantly show the last arc of season 7. Which would lead to another questions: wtf are the mandalorians, why Maul is here, wtf happening with Rex during O66, why is he hesitating to shoot Ahsoka? Now you can show the Chip conspiracy ARC with Fives! This Fives is a nice guy, is there more episodes of him? Oh boy~
And if they are interested in watching TCW with you..
- Watching together as spending time together usually helps. I think discord also has a function where you can stream movies to others. - You don't have to watch it in the exact order the episodes came out - Show arcs. There are lot of clone centric arcs. I literally collected all the episodes where Echo and Fives are present. --> Dad remembered Echo the whole time and he felt sorry for him. I showed the episodes in such order that his story could be followed easely. ------------- I know. I get it. Every episode is awesome. Every character is awesome. They are. They are all blorbos. They are our blorbos.

3 Mandos and a Baby AU: Hijacking Death Watch
While Ursa and Alrich are in Sundari preparing their future Mand’alor for rule Bo-Katan is on Concordia desperately trying to set up a power base to take down Pre. Her Nite Owls are easy enough to recruit, most of them sided with her in her last life too. Really her main issues amongst her girls comes from Rook Kast and her insane group of True Believers.
Bo doesn’t really blame Rook for her sheer devotion to the cause, the girl wasn’t exactly a willing volunteer when she first came to Death Watch. Tor Vizsla’s old recruitment plan was basically just kidnapping kids and torturing/brainwashing them into obedient little attack dogs (Bo’s had a lot of regrets in her life, but one of the biggest would have to be willingly joining an organization that did that to kids). Sometimes it backfires really hard, like when Arla Fett full on snapped and killed Tor’s oldest son and preferred heir, Dral Vizsla, in the middle of the training yard.
The loyalty of some holdouts is easier to get than others. The Bralor twins and their brother have nearly deified Bo after she saved their little sibling from a training accident. The screaming match she had with Pre after, where she called him all sorts of names for putting a child in a live fire test, becomes legend amongst the Kyr’tsad. As does the shiner Bo proudly bears around base after Pre calls her to his office for “discipline”.
Bo can’t challenge Pre too much, tipping her hand too soon would get her killed. If not by Pre than by his followers or even, and the thought of this makes her shudder, his Sith backers. Sideous is just frothing at the mouth for an excuse to subjugate Mandalore, Death Watch provides the perfect humanitarian reason. She has to move in secret, for her people’s sake.
Young Lieutenant Patrok Ru-Saxon of the Sundari Protectors receives a mysterious comm message. It contains no words, only an address for somewhere in the lower levels of the dome city. He’s just gotten off a rather exhausting night shift and honestly he just wants to sleep, but the message gives him one of those feelings his buir said would make him a great investigator one day. Patrok follows the message, and there at the specified location is a folder, taped to the wall. He looks inside, blanches, and calls his boss to say he got an anonymous tip and they need to evacuate the Lily Flower Walkway and to get the bomb squad on the way right now.
Patrok may never know this, but his call that day saved the lives of 38 Mando’ade, 17 of whom were children on a school trip. Now every time he gets a message from that unknown comlink he comes running. He arrests dozens of corrupt officials, foils many Death Watch plots, and earns many promotions. Bo-Katan watches from afar and delights in her good judgement.
Pre is fuming. He’s lost so many loyal soldiers these past few years it’s been ridiculous. The Saxon brothers died when their Kom’rk’s stabilizers blew during aerial combat simulations. A faulty circuit led to a cascade failure in the part, and there went two of his best commanders. Ruusaan Jatte tried to change the mixture of her jetpack’s fuel again and wound up paying for the experiment with her life. His own cousin, Malos Vizsla, was caught red handed trying to poison ration packs heading to the Draboon system’s Protectors. Rather than face arrest and interrogation, Malos ended his own life.
Bo is having the time of her life. The Saxon brothers’ habit of never running a preflight check meant they never noticed a stabilizer circuit had been tragically damaged. Ruusaan Jatte’s love of experimenting with different fuel mixes provided the perfect opportunity to test out Amis’s newest explosive discovery (Ursa had told her over a bottle of netra’gal about how Amis had discovered if you add a very common accelerant to jet pack fuel, it’ll blow up. The fact that Ursa’s eyebrows were drawn on was not mentioned, though it felt relevant). And Malos Vizsla was just a happy accident. Those tips to Ru-Saxon were really starting to pay off.
