LOL I don't use anything special or shiny really lol

I use an old ipad (with a Paperfeel screen protector. That was the game changer for me oh my gosh) with procreate on it with an old first gen apple pencil hahaha

as for brushes I ALWAYS use CHALK!! I LOVE it so MUCH Then with the just grey scaling with a little txture I tend to use Gouache. cause I like the building upon layers it gives but if I want to use color then I just use the regular old round brush 🤌

Then I use this color as the constant background color:

cause it keeps me calm LOOOOOL I used to get so angsty when things just didn't turn out how I like but this color makes me go "alright try again then" 🤣 Its magic for me hahah

I KNOW every person says this about every medium, art form, hobby, etc. ever, and always specifically about whatever time they get really really really into said hobby BUT i do genuinely think, at least from a software perspective, that we're probably on the cusp of some kind of vocal synth renaissance. the scene never died or even wavered, but with the sheer amount of new software coming out both paid and free, voicevox getting a singing update,stuff like OpenUtau making compatibility easier... i don't care for subscriptions so im only interested in their perpetual licenses but i will admit voisona's subscription model for voicebanks has a lot of benefits for those who just wanna use a voice maybe once or twice.... there are so many robots to make sing you guys. there are so many.

for my birthday i let myself get really into remote controlled lights because having a perfect lighting situation has always been my dream and remote control lights compensate for the fact I own nothing with a dimmer + hate anything app controlled (lotta app controlled lights. i mean real actual physical remote.) so they're a neat solution. except. Now I have 3 light remotes. Two of them are configured perfectly now and are just on-off buttons, the third is for my brighter lights that actually give me real visibility (and controls 5 bulbs total) so maybe they should live in different places. But ceph hasn't poached the two unused bulbs the third remote controls.

Realizing from all the art stuff my friends post that I don't have to post full art pieces. I can just post my sketches and be done. Idk why it took me this long to realize that.
