Oh man I just found the little device that opened the doors to all of my modern day life.

This baby. For a long time it had no way to connect to the internet and was locked down. It was the white play phone. A mini tablet for games.

One day I tried youtube and it worked.

Then one day I used data from my grandma in the car on a trip and discovered rainamator and his minecraft animations. Found a new band.

From there I watched Kelly royal family rp. I watched gacha life. I stumbled upon cinemaresins and the brony fandom.

I also lied to my parents about it sometimes. Every night I would hide my phone on a shelf and stay up watching YouTube. I watched fnaf minecraft rp, I watched mlp analysis, I watched so much gacha life, I watched a ton of stuff.

And I found creepypasta. I watched gacha life creepypasta, I watched speed paint stories. I watched comic dubs.

And I started writing, I wrote mlp fanfiction about derpy and my half reformed changling oc who fed on positive emotions. They were on the big mail trip, a multi week mail route across equestria and beyond. I wrote my first original story called Cake.

I wrote scripts for gacha life videos I wasn't allowed to make.

I stayed up late every night watching YouTube on my secret internet phone.

I found fanfiction and learned to read tags because of one that still haunts me like a traumatic memory.

This thing was falling apart. It was too old, the buttons fell out and I desperately taped them back on multiple times.

It was cracked from falling from my loft bed.

It could barely turn on.

It was my portal to the world beyond my town. White phone was my window into the internet soul. My secret guilt of lying to my parents. A constant little weight in my mind, even though it's so light to hold. It showed me the worst of what can be (that isn't like live leak gore) and what the best of a friendship can lead to.

It's why I'm here right now.

I haven't used it since I was 14.

It's been sitting, untouched but not thrown away, from bin to bin and closet to shelf for 5 years.

I don't know why no one tossed it yet.

It’s my birthday again!

WOOOOOO CONFETTI🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

In honor of such a wonderful day, I made this piece for an art project (a month ago but SsSsSsSSSshHHHhh) showcasing every persona/self insert oc that I had over the years that I am now sharing with you all, along with small descriptions about them for context!

2018 was when I started making oc’s for tmnt 2012, and they were all cringe as hell. For example, here we have Princess Hikari (right), Princess of Iro and the element of color and light (it was 2018 and I’m pretty sure I was also obsessed with Gacha Life mini movies at the time). She was a part of my very first ever tmnt 2012 au where most of the most cast is actually from a different planet where the impossible can happen and certain characters of the main cast were elemental, but due to a villain becoming too powerful, they all flee to earth and most of them lose their memories. On Earth, Hikari disguised herself as Kodie Jackson (left), she was cool, quirky, and always had a good comeback, both in combat and in smack-talk (basically she was a “not-like-other-girls” girl without the whole putting other women down stuff). She also had a crush on Leo, along with every other oc I made during this era.

2020 was when I took a break from tmnt 2012 (shocking, I know) and hyperfixated on Casino Cups, a Cuphead au comic series on Tumblr that I got into because of VOAdams comic dubs for it. I made PLENTY of oc’s, au’s within the au’s, and lore for this (because I was 13 and cringe, what did you expect), some of it I still have content for and all of it I still have info for in the deep dark crevices of my mind. This was also when I had a TikTok account (that I don’t post on anymore) and this was also the era where my persona changed the most. But out of all of them, Juicehead was my favorite, even if I never inserted her into the Casino Cups cannon.

Oh boy, 2021, the year I came back onto the tmnt 2012 scene, the year I came back to my roots and STAYED there, the year I saw a “I made 9 of these, the first one you see determines your life in tmnt 2012” Instagram post and thought “……..but what if I WAS the Foot Clan?” Well, not at first, at first I was still with the turtles. My characters name was Irene (top), she was a demon who knew black magic, and she was best friends with Mikey (not crushing, this was also the year I decided to just stop crushing on tmnt 2012 characters for reasons I barely know). It wasn’t until that summer that I saw that fateful Instagram post and decided “yep, I like the Foot Clan henchmen now, and that’s how it’s gonna be for the rest of my life.” After that I ditched the demon horns, straightened my ponytail, got a new outfit, and changed her name to Dioxazine (bottom). She was alright, honestly I don’t think I did much with her.

In 2023 we got Comet, my girly, my popstar, my silly little gay. Surprise surprise, Comet used to be my persona/self insert before I decided to make her my oc (however she’s still my projection character). She’s actually been on the scene since 2022! But since then, her appearance been through a some changes from changing her shorts to pants, to shortening her hair, and other small things (if anything I think her lore has gone through the most changes). Either way, she’s a cutie patootie and I love her. This was also the era where my writing skills got better, now everything is less cringe :D👍

And finally, we’ve come to 2024, Sleepy! My persona today! You already know her, her face is a screen, her mask doubles as noise-canceling headphones (for optimal sleep of course), and her socks change every time! She’s in a constant state of being not quite sleepy but not quite awake either and she’s always wearing her jammies, comfy!

Obligatory life update: I’ve been working on a lot of things but also I’ve been doing nothing lol. I’m just vibing :]

I have some interesting things to say, though. I’ve recently been experimenting with my art style!! I’ve done a few coloring experiments since I want my art to look more colourful and so far it’s helped a ton. I figured out a better way to blend colours and I’m also trying out different shading techniques. Still have no clue how lighting works though but shhh

I’ve also been working on V’s redesign and I’ve got his face and hair done. He officially has black hair now and his hairstyle’s a really messy undercut that he can tie up in a ponytail or bun. His face is still the same, but his eyes look more tired and he’s got softer features. Also, he’s got more piercings. I really liked the first draft of him with shark bite piercings so I kept that in

…I’ve always wanted shark bite piercings but I know damn well my mom (and grandma) would say no if I asked :’)

His outfits are still works in progress. I got the general idea down for his main outfit, I just need to figure out which elements I want to keep and what colour palette I want. I’ll mostly keep his colour palette monotone probably. So far the only thing I’ve decided is that I want him to have a fur collar jacket and a pair of headphones around his neck…

It’s very difficult for me to make a new persona design. I enjoy so many things and I want to convey that but it’s almost impossible. My tastes in fashion can be contradictory, my fixations/interests change frequently, and I still have a bad case of depersonalization due to gender dysphoria. Like, it’s so hard to try to imagine what I look like in my head. Sometimes it’s a complete blur but ever since I drew drafts of the new V, I feel more connected(?) with who I am.

I honestly just want a sona that looks good in emo clothes but also rocks pink, girly clothes lol. I wanna present more femininely someday like my beloved Rei without feeling bad ;w;

And, this is a lot more niche, I’ve been reworking some of my Roblox assets (specifically face/makeup decals for RK2) and wow it’s a pain in the ass. Like what the hell. I got banned for a day because Roblox thought Rei’s smiling face was sexual. Am I allowed to say this is homophobic and transphobic of them to do?—

Oh… and I’ve been playing a lot of Bee Swarm Simulator. I dunno, man, it passes the time and it’s the only grindy game I enjoy.

Other than that, I have nothing else to talk about. I mean, I DO have videos in the works. Like that Gacha video, oh and a new art video, as well as a video about Roblox’s shitty moderation system, and— You get what I mean. I also have a ton of art ideas I wanna do and the list so far is:

I cant exactly pin point what started it but it started when I was literally in middle school and I’ve been reminded of it recently cause the fandoms kicked up again on Tiktok.

There’s practically zero record of it online (thank god) cause I didn’t use social media the way I do now but my creepypasta phase was basically fuelled by “how I became a creepypasta” gacha life mini movies and Pinterest fan art so can you tell it was a “omg the creepypastas live in the slender mansion together like a Nickelodeon sitcom” type of thing and not an actual liking to scary stories 😭.

I remember watching the “I Eat Pasta for Breakfast” and “Frozen Creepypasta” comic dub series on YouTube and those Minecraft Newscape-pro creepypasta roleplay videos too. My favourite was Ticci Toby.

Turning of the orange | The Strawberry Patch - Old soon to be remade/written stop motion strawberry shortcake zombie movie me and my dad were making when i was in elementary schoolish. We unfortunately didnt make it that far since he had to leave often and for long times cuz work, but recently i found my old tablet with all the pics and my notes so rework time baby. The Butterfly Effect is my main rottmnt fanfic series. About my little rottmnt oc's (Ame) life and how the gang adopting them into the family changed everything mostly for the better but the bad things kinda got alot worse. Idk been focusing on the phoenix effect more

The Phoenix Effect is kinda an extension of that. Its basically the same thing but adds the cass apocalypse series into it. Basically how future Ame being there also changes things and how oopies mystics powers are hard to control after being half dead in stasis for about 12 years hope Ame does trys to leave to protect everyone from himself only to get kidnapped putting everyone in worse danger also oopies isnt that the super dangerous alien someone accidentally freed awhile ago

Watcher - *slaps religious trauma onto them* bitch gets sacrificed. Okay okay so Watcher, wasnt always Watcher. Before they used to be Ena a simple kid who was sent away for reasons i havent thought of yet to a church. Blah blah corruption, Watcher gets sacrificed for not falling in line blah blah they were saved and given a second chance.

Dimension - *slaps alot of anxiety and identity issues onto her* bitch got issues. Same as Watcher, Dimension wasnt always Dimension. Before she was Ellie a poor girl hated by her whole town because of the lies their mother spread about them and their father who had left years ago. She only had one friend, Watcher. Somehow they managed to make contact with each other despite being in different universes. Eventually Dimension snapped and went on a killing spree, slowly ripping apart her world in the process because this wasnt supposed to happen (think spiderverse canon events but different ill explain later) with her world crumbling around her, Dimension messages Ena one last time, not knowing Ena was already long gone, and accepts what they assume to be death only to fall into whats basically the anti void from utmv, gets corrupted and became a villain technically more of a multiversal criminal.

OKAY TIME FOR WORLD BUILDING

How does what happened to Dimension's universe work? The way i explained it is like spiderverse canon events but different, but heres the details. Idk how to explain this but bare with me

Imagine each universe as a game in a folder on a computer. Each game has different code, story, art assets basically all are mostly different.

Most games are coded to have very specific story events and when something goes wrong everything breaks. Like take a spaghetti thing of code that shatters the moment you try to do something like trying to talk with an npc while having a status effect and thats how some of these worlds are like. And Dimension's was very much one of those worlds, and her breaking down like that shattered the code of their world and everything fell apart.

I’m back. Been a while but I’m back. And I’m back to putting this story as a Gacha series. Why? Because I feel like it. How do I know I won’t turn back to whatever media I think would fit? Because it actually falls under a series, not a novel or anything else. 

Lemme explain. 

Like I said in my first blog update, FotU first started as a “visual” story, meaning it was basically a story that was made to be a series. Even if I want to make it into a novel or a comic, I won’t be able to just because I divided the story up in a specific way made for a series. 

The way I was writing episode one was similar to how I used to write a series back then (not a Gacha series, it was for something else). I planned the episodes by making it as if it was a mini story within an arc that builds up to the main storyline. 

Complicated, I get it. 

It was the best way for me to write the series since I don’t plan to have any of those “filler” episodes. Those annoy me. And with how FotU was a series that depended on that style, it didn’t make sense if I were to transform it into a novel or a comic. 

Because when I read any of those, I don’t see a clear divide of where the episode starts and finishes. Everything is paced specifically for that book’s medium. And if I wrote FotU as a comic or novel, that divide would be extremely clear. 

It’s too short to be an arc, but it’s too long to be a single chapter. 

I just realized this when I was writing FotU’s first episode. How I got to the decision of making it into a series, I don’t remember. I just ended up making it into a series. 

As for why Gacha instead of drawing the series........... I don’t wanna draw... It takes too long, I’m not good at it, art is annoying to do... I don’t wanna draw. Good enough reason. 

Anyways. 

There’s been a lot of changes made to FotU. First thing’s first, the story itself. 

The synopsis in the first blog is super old. Because I didn’t have a clear vision of the story, and the plot was all over the place. 

At first, I wanted to just concentrate on Lenard being in the drama department and having the time of his life before it spirals downhill. But that wasn’t a good set up to the next season, which was where the drama department would be enrolled to an acting camp with a famous actress with the story being darker and more dramatic. 

That was unintended. 

Then I was like give Lenard an angsty backstory but came out “alright”! But then it just made him fade into the background, he wasn’t aggressive enough to be a main character, he was bland and boring... Ugh, I can’t win with this brat! 

Not to mention, I was having a lot of trouble with the main antagonist of the series. Because this damn series’ antagonist was either someone who shouldn’t be seen or it’s something that is being highlighted for awareness in the universe! Whichever it was, I don’t fucking know because I never finished my damn saga!!!! 

So I had to start over from scratch. 

And after replanning, rewriting, remaking that saga so the outcome would have a universal antagonist, I finally got the story I wanted for Lenard... Finally... 

They never had one to begin with...!!! 

All that work... Not for nothing but... just to figure out my antagonist was just the same thing as before... 

Well, at least, I got a better foundation at what the antagonist was. That’s a plus. Sorted that out. Now it was just... What was the main focus of the story? 

Like I said, I didn’t have a clear vision for the story. It was turning this way, then pivot left! It went up, then it drop-kicked down! I thought it was turning slow, but it turned too fast! I was writing draft after draft, but I still couldn’t understand what the story was about. 

It wasn’t until I was scrolling around on the internet that a writing tip from an author got me: Don’t overcomplicate your story. 

Oh... Duh!!! 

(Fun fact, it was a writing tip video that I watched years ago!) 

Since I wanted to include so much into my story, I found it difficult to understand the characters, the plot, and the moral of it. Plus, when I was trying to explain to my sister what the story was about, I couldn’t cuz there were so many missing and unexplained events. Even though the story was simple enough, I was trying to put so much into it. 

In the end, I decided to delete a ton of plot points that didn’t resonate with the story. As much as I wanted to include it, I had to remind myself... this wasn’t the continuation of the saga. 

Yeah... I never wrote the beginning of the saga yet I was trying to continue it somehow... 

Don’t ask. 

But after simplifying the story, I couldn’t decide who my main character was. Was it Lenard, the original main character who was a happy-go-lucky go-getter with a dark past and a simple purpose of joining the drama department? Or was it Annie, the other main character who was a complicated elf with a strong desire to tear down her critics and find her sister’s killer? 

At a glance, it looks like Annie would claim the throne. However, there are certain facts about her I want to remain a secret. Plus, to start the story out with her reason for transferring to Lenard’s hometown felt... too dark? Too empty? Too strange? 

...too perfect? 

Whatever it was, I didn’t like starting things out that way, so I had Lenard being late with Annie’s journey to transfer as a secondary scene! 

But it still felt off. 

And Lenard also has a certain fact that should be kept a secret until later on in the series. If he were to be the main character, I’d rather have that revealed since he has such a side-character-like personality... 

Ah... 

I realized Lenard’s secret is better as a “top secret” thing while Annie’s are more important to the story since the story revolves around it. And, in terms of a personality the readers/viewers want to follow, Annie would suit it best. 

Oh, dumb-dumb, duh! 

Welp, Lenard’s not the main character. And here I thought I could have a green-haired boy be the main character... Oh well. It’s the fate of all green-haired characters, apparently... 

Now it’s a matter of rewriting my draft again... 

Gosh, so many things have changed for FotU. From redeeming delinquents to creating a historical event to destroying criticism... It’s gone a long way... 

Anyways, now that I got things settled at this point, I think it’s about time I stop writing this blog and start writing the first episode again. I’ve got another mile to go with it, although it looks like I figured things out now. 

Ah, but before I leave, I should rewrite the synopsis, huh? At least, the current FotU’s synopsis.

After her sister’s untimely death, newly debuted actress, Anhelina Kellen, travels to the small town of Selcho, where she would spend the rest of her time rehabilitating and recollecting herself from the constant ridicule and criticisms of the incident. She encounters Lenard Hartmann, a stubborn elf who had lived with their caretaker, Kay, for more than six Ellaguerian sols, who wants to become an actor despite his terrible skill in acting with his countless auditions to his school’s newly formed drama department as proof of it. 

With Lenard’s practices until late nights, it annoyed Annie to no end until she finally understood why he was trying so hard: the ridicule and eventually threats he had to put up with from the drama department presidents, the lack of expectation everyone had of him simply because of their poor town’s wealth, and his unwavering resolve to be the greatest actor so his deceased parents could be proud of him sparked an innate desire in Annie to help the elf achieve his dreams and to achieve hers as well. 

Annie just hopes Lenard doesn’t turn out to be like her sister again.
