True Ending

While Chat Noir protects Paris from the akuma, Ladybug convinces Gabriel to do the right thing. After the powers of the ladybug miraculous cures Gabriel from the effects of the cataclysm and fixes the other miraculous, Su-Han puts a spell on Gabriel that bars him from ever using a miraculous ever again. If he does, the spell will stop his heart and he'll die. Gabriel accepts his punishment and focuses on rebulding his family and fixing the bonds he ruined. Meanwhile, Lila, now in possession of the butterfly miraculous, is out to take revenge on Ladybug, Gabriel and Marinette. Gabriel offers Marinette an official apprentiship, which angers Lila even more and pushes her to seek out Tomoe Tsurugi. Lila offers her a chance to make Gabriel pay for breaking the engagement between Adrien and Kagami. Tomoe accepts. It's revealed Tomoe had hoped to kill Gabriel and replace him with a senti under her control, but her plan derailed when Gabriel gave the peacock to Félix. Fortunately for her, Gabriel was hit with the cataclysm and she had then hoped he'd die from that. Once again, Gabriel (with Ladybug's help) managed to ruin her plans. This alliance will give Lila the means to fund her plans and will grant her access to new powerful technology she can utilize to her advantage. As season 6 progresses, Ladybug finds herself confiding in Gabriel and Nathalie about her struggles as a hero (as Alya has her own issues to deal with and Su-Han is busy with temple business). The two adults encourage Marinette to be honest with Adrien and reveal her identity to him, but before she can, Crysalis appears and starts terrorizing Paris. Faced once again with a threat to the city, Marinette postpones her talk with Adrien, but everything goes awry when the boy discovers his father was Hawkmoth. Feeling betrayed he runs to Marinette, who has to come clean about knowing about it. Adrien asks her how, and she reveals the truth. She's Ladybug. Heartbroken, Adrien runs away. Marinette calls Gabriel and Nathalie, and together they search for Adrien. Gabriel finds him and notices an akuma flying towards him. He jumps between and gets hit by the akuma to protect Adrien. As he fights Crysalis's influence and, as he's about to transform, he tells Adrien to run, that he loves him and that he's sorry. The finale for s6 is Ladybug and Chat Noir fighting and rescuing Gabriel. Back at the mansion, the former villains and two heroes have a talk and, while Adrien can't completely forgive them for lying to him, he understands their motivations. He tells them he'll need time to process everything. Gabriel, Nathalie and Marinette understand and tell him they'll be patient. From that moment on, Gabriel and Nathalie become the confidants for the two teens, and subsequently join and become patrons of the temple in the fight against Crysalis.

Something about people saying that movie!gabe is better than show!gabe because he "cares about adrien" rubs me the wrong way because… show!adrien is very clearly a victim of abuse that has obviously been going on for a while, i'd guess even before emilie's death. You don't get a boy as terribly afraid of his father without him being some form of abused, and that's the whole point of his story. like, if gabe cared about adrien, then adrien wouldn't be the adrien we know, he'd be movie!adrien. It works for the movie but would never ever work for the show. Show!Adrien's entire arc and character basis is about overcoming his abuse, so to take that away from him feels… gross, to me. idk!

Personally I’m not too excited about gabenath, but I can see why it’s so popular/liked!

ANYWAYS gabenath for those who do really like it I haven’t drawn it much. I guess if it WAS part of the au, it’d be more of a toxic twisted love story where he would sprinkle affection or be vulnerable with her, especially when he’s in a more depressed slump. And she’d ofc always be there and she’s naturally worried about him but she doesn’t know how to get through to him! She’s there when he’s at his most pathetic!!

Miraculous Ship Names

I hate when people just mush characters's names together to have it as their ship name, so I, and two friends of mine, have come up with a couple unique names we think fit all the canon and semi-canon ships of miraculous. I'll also give my brief opinion on what I think of the ship, so be nice as my tastes might be different from yours, but with that out of the way, let's get started.

Name: Catastrophe Ship: Adrinette (Adrien x Marinette) Type: Het Opinion: I kind of only see them as just friends

Name: Betrothed Ship: Adrigami (Adrien x Kagami) Type: Het Opinion: I wished these two got together over what we got in canon

Name: Regal Lily Ship: Alirose (Prince Ali x Rose) Type: Het Opinion: I think it's really cute, but it probably wouldn't last too long

Name: Legally Blonde Ship: Chlodrien (Chloe x Adrien) Type: Het Opinion: I wished these two had a sibling dynamic towards the end of the show, but we can't have nice things

Name: Shining Armor Ship: Chlokim (Chloe x Kim) Type: Het Opinion: I can kind of see the vision with them, definitely toxic for sure

This also doesn't make any sense in canon? Like up until the retooling it's very obvious that there's something going on between them. Even Gabe's English va Keith Silverstein said something about it.

Why on earth would she need a wish to make him love her? He already does he's just as oblivious as his son is. That was the running joke! Adrien "she's just a friend" Agreste and gabriel "she's just my assistant" Agreste. Even Adrien as oblivious as he can be, called his father out on his feelings!

I'm sorry, Nathalie was gonna do WHAT to Gabriel with her secret wish!? Jesus Christ, every BTS explanation for a character's actions makes them sound 100% more evil.

I can only imagine the writers would come up with an excuse as to why this is an okay thing to do. Oh wait, she's a woman, so by that logic, that means her actions are inexcusable.

I just realized since Canon apparently decided that somehow no one but Adrienette and Gabenath knows about Miracle Queen(with the latter knowing the full truth, while the former only has a quarter of it)

Everyone( especially sabrina) must have been so confused about Chloe suddenly going from being obviously in love with ladybugs to hating her guts the next day

Obvs she plays off like 'oh it wasn't traumatizing at all' but spells out directly the whole 'saying she's benched but bringing out Kagami' thing and the 'Hawkmoth had my parents held hostage' thing.

I'm obviously obligated to do Adrinette. Julrose, Marcnath and Myvan all stay the same as canon. Kim and Max are a thing here (Kim and Ondine don't know each other lmao). Gabenath is still a thing I'm unsure of, but it'll probably happen. Sabrina and Zoe will eventually get together.

Kagami, Luka and Felix as a throuple is an idea in the back of my head. I don't know if that's the direction I want to go with them, but it's definitely an idea i considered more than once. It would happen after much character development from all three of them and once Felix is freed from the Supreme's control obviously
