Made a chord chart for ukulele because the ones I found online didn’t have any flat or sharp chords, except it ONLY had Bb chords for some reason. It is designed to fit on a single piece of printer paper in landscape format, and print in black and white. The top right cluster of letters is the most common tuning, I threw the others on there in case it’s useful. I am a beginner at ukulele and originally just made this for myself but I thought I’d share in case someone might find it useful.

simple ukulele tablature tutorial
in tablature (commonly shortened to tabs), the string on the bottom is the one at the top when youre playing, and vice versa
confusing, right?
well, tablature is based on sitting the ukulele flat in front of you
as you can see in my example here, this ukulele is tuned to GCEA, which is the standard tuning for everything other than baritone. if your ukulele is meant to be tuned differently for a certain song, it should tell you how it is meant to be tuned somewhere on the thing
now then, tablature has numbers on the lines
a 0 means open; no fingers on the frets
any number after that means your finger should be on the corresponding fret
this example has no fingers on any of the frets
this example is the same thing as the last, except a G chord instead of open
these are the basics, if anyone wants me to explain other things with tablature, please let me know

What You Need to Know about GCE A Level
The General Certificate of Education Advanced Level, popularly known as the GCE A Level, is a school leaving qualification offered by secondary schools, sixth structure colleges and further educations in the UK, some Commonwealth countries, and at many international schools around the world. Actually, you can consider enrolling for the GCE A level Singapore when you want to shape your future career.
GCE advanced levels or A levels were initially introduced to facilitate entry to higher education. Despite the fact that this remains a primary purpose, over time A levels have also established a role in recognizing achievements from purely academic to additional applied skills and knowledge that are valued.
One way or the other, prior to enrolling for the GCEA level Singapore, it always pays off to get an insight into how the assessment is done. Well, unreformed A level exams are taken at the end of the course (modular units assessments shifted to the end of the two-year course of study).
Assessment is generally by external examination except where this isn't ideal. Moreover, controlled assessment, practical examination, portfolio assessment and coursework are utilized to assess those aspects of the course which are not suitable for assessment via a timed written examination.
It is important to note that each unit of assessment is assessed by one method as specified in subject criteria. Despite the fact that both A level and AS are Level 3 qualifications, assessment inside the AS is regarded as less demanding than that taken at the end of the second year. Grade distributions vary immensely across subjects, reflecting the fact that nearly A levels attract students with higher achievements at GCSE.
Prior to commencing A level study, students take Year 11 examinations known as the General Certificate of Secondary Education in a range of subjects. Nearly all students taking GCSEs through the school system are expected to take English, Mathematics, and Science, with most fields of study being elective.
After passing your GCE A-Level Examination taken at one of the exam centers selected by the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB), students will be awarded the Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level by Ministry of Education, Singapore and Cambridge Assessment International Education.
Remember the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) collaborate with the Ministry of Education (MOE) on all national examinations. Make certain to research more about the GCEA level Singapore exams to find answers to a portion of your burning questions.

☕️ baritone ukulele
I love baritone ukes! It's the one I play most often. They're great for when you want a guitar-like sound quality without needing to know how to play guitar, and much easier for fingerpicking. In the beginning it was annoying to mentally transpose chords down a 5th since I was so used to GCEA tuning, but at this point the muscle memory is all there and I don't really have to think about it much.
Also, shameless plug: I have a sideblog @singingsketchbook where I've posted a few recordings of my bari uke if you'd like to take a listen :)

Multilayered parchment! Cut and glued by hand. The shape is like an inverted wedding cake. I'm playing a reproduction in that clip. Here is a 17th century original:
Guitars gained bass courses over time.
From the 14th through 16th centuries, guitars had four courses tujed 4th, 3rd, 4th. Here is a copy of a 16th century guitar by George Stevens.
This was tuned a fourth higher than the modern guitar: GCEA. The small size remained popular in Portugal, while the rest of Europe gravitated to a larger size tuned a fourth lower. In the 17th century the guitar gained a fifth bass course: ADGBE:
The fancy ones tend to have been preserved. This one was made by Matteo Sellas in c.1630-40 and is kept in the Met.
Spanish and Portuguese colonists brought these small guitars to the Americas, and many remain similar today, such as the jarana jarocha from Veracruz, Mexico:
18th century Portuguese colonists brought a small guitar called cavaqinho or machete to Hawaii, where it was renamed ukulele, meaning jumping flea. The ukulele retains its renaissance tuning, though it is usually strung with single courses.
In the 18th century, European guitars gained a sixth bass course, attaining today's familiar tuning: EADGBE. Here are teo recreations by Clive Titmuss:
Many traditional Portuguese guitars still look similar.
During the 18th century, a preference developed for single courses. That was the birth of the modern six-string guitar.
This is an early Romantic guitar (c. 1830, Paris) by Jean-Nicolas Grobert.
Some 19th century builders added a seventh bass string. Russia and Brazil kept it:
This is a Russian 7-string guitar. It is tuned to an open G major chord.
Some Latin guitars have retained double courses, like the Mexican chordal bass guitars, the bajo quinto and bajo sexto:
The twelve string guitars favored by US Delta blues guitarists and now popular in the US were probably inspired by these Mexican bajos sexto.
Now, the electric guitar is often appended with a seventh and eighth bass string, and the electric (contra)bass guitar is often appended with a fifth below and a sixth above.
The historical trend seems to be gradually mounting complexity punctuated by periodic returns to simplicity.
