My Draculaura headcanons!:

(i mix g1 and g3!)

- Draculaura in my head is childhood friends with Valentine, they used to play together, have tea parties and sleepovers, after they rebonded Drac reassured Val it was fine, and hey, they still have tea parties, like old times

- in my headcanons she still leans MORE to the vampire side than witch, and in witch terms, she's actually a necromancer (big difference) and tarot reader

- she was the one to bring Ghoulia back to life and that actually makes them bond since it breaks how vampires tended to see zombies

- hear me out....demigirl?

- vivid fan of Melanie Martinez, likes J-pop and kawaii musics, loves musicals her fav being legally blond and listens to Malice Mizer

- she LOVES japanese subcultures and I actually picture her living some years in Japan more specifically Kyoto after graduating MH

- absolutely has a sweet fang and loves to bake red velvet heart shaped cake pops

- her and Clawd are still together and every noon they cuddle together in the dorms while watching movies and eating sweets

- I picture that the profession Draculaura would like to have (in which I also hc she'd love to have multiple jobs, beware Barbie she'll steal your place) being: fashionista, vampiric history teacher, necromancy teacher in MH, baker, photographer working probably with Elissabat for promos in her movies or even as far as working as a Japanese idol

- DEFINITELY has a garden that is just hers in her father's manor and Dracula makes sure it's perfectly taken care of so when she comes back Draculaura isn't too worried for the plants, her favorite flower being black roses and sakura flowers in their pink shade

- definitely in her time in the vampiric court Draculaura would sneak away with Valentine and Elissabat and just explore the town at night instead of focusing on the balls, though she'd come right on time for the dance and would always call either Elissabat or Valentine as dance partners

- THE NIECE OF THE VAMPIRE FROM SESAME STREET AND COUNT CHOCULA.

- girly loves to read and collect shoujo manga and extra cutesy slice of life manga.

- once dressed Frankie up in gothic lolita, it became their hobby to once a weekend get all girls together and dress up in lolita for photos

- learnt about her taiwanese heritage a bit later and took some late blooming to enjoy it, these days she constantly enjoys being connected to taiwanese culture

- as someone deficient of GH (growth hormone and also linked to some teen hormones such as what causes periods and boob growth) I like to imagine Draculaura actually has the same thing and that's what caused her to be a late bloomer on both psychically and in her vampire side, which was what got her interested into witchcraft.

- besties with Spelldon I don't make the rules

- auntie of Valentine's and Spelldon kids as well as the aunt of any of her best ghouls friends

Side note: I never read her diary since as a kid I didn't have basic Draculaura but her variations so I'm sorry if some info is incorrect due to diary content, also I only want to read her diary when I have my own g1 basic Draculaura

Mattel Head Glue

With G3 Monster High hitting shelves, people are looking at G1 again and looking for ways to rectify the disgusting, seeping, doll destroying head glue Mattel was using at that time.

Not only is it gross but the glue discolors the vinyl heads of the dolls.

Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High, and Disney dolls all had the glue.

This method was shared to Reddit with incomplete information which has caused some confusion and concern there.

My biggest concern is OP claiming this is safe.

We don’t know if it’s safe. Not enough time has passed TO know. All we know is that L.A.’s Totally Awesome removes and at least partially sets Mattel’s head glue.

They seem fine, so far.

Abbey has a blend of Doll Grade Kanekalon and Saran hair with tinsel. All three are fine. Her face paint is ok, the glitter looks the same, and her vinyl is the same shade of blue it was before. (She was treated before the glue had a chance to cause discoloration)

Her head is no harder than before other than where glue is. Because the glue itself has hardened, her scalp area is firmer than her face.

She is a little sticky again which comes as no surprise considering I was still experimenting and hadn’t really nailed down how long to let them soak, yet.

Snow White also has no problems, yet. She’s not sticky at all and still looks about new.

The Barbie who’s name I have forgotten (Sorry, Barbie Friend) and who’s glitter eye shadow turned a little white in the soak is a little bit sticky, but not bad.

None of them have had anything odd happen to their face paint, vinyl, or hair fibers.

This method does leave some glue inside the head and I had hoped it would be stabilized and stop seeping out. It seems it’s mostly stabilized but there may still be some in the roots of the hair that never set.

!A real-true-total removal!

So far, the only report I’ve seen that shows a 100% removal of the glue is by @dollsorwhatever​ who tried a combination of L.A.’s Totally Awesome and pure tea tree oil.

Tea tree oil will strip the paint from the face and scalp.

If I’m understanding correctly, they had the same problems with just tea tree oil that I have with Goo Gone in that it’s effective but difficult to wash away when done, which is what prompted combining the oil with Totally Awesome.

Their result is total removal of the glue with some risk, versus Totally Awesome’s partial removal with low risk.

This mirrorship is from an episode where Pinkie clones herself so she never loses any type of event involving her friends, it's a really sad episode, but her clones are really fun. Most of the clones died, but some ran away and live their life in hiding. Some people ship Og Pinkie with her clones!

Pinkie Pie x Changeling

Changelings are creatures that can take the form of anypony to feed off their love. It's not exactly mirrorship, but it's still someone that can look exactly like her, and has done it many times!

Pinkie x Equestria Girls Pinkie

It's a canon alternative universe where the ponies are human, the portal is a mirror (lmao), if you are a pony and walk through it, you turn human and vice versa. They canonically change places with one another!

I don't really like this one tbh, because pony Pinkie is a full grown adult while human Pinkie is a high schooler, this was a marketing tactic to sell the series to children but it's a decision that I really hate, it's weird seeing 20+ chars with jobs as stupid children

Pinkie x Alter Ego (Pinkamena)

When Pinkie gets extremely sad (a rare occurrence) she transforms into a full alter ego who's a bit manic. Ever since the start of fandom days people have been drawing these two together like they are a system, enemies, etc etc. Recently there have been some edits and ship art of them!!

Recently on Twitter, someone said it would be cute to ship MLP characters with their previous generations, this is the older version of Pinkie before the reboot. I think they'd be cute together

Donnie is very fascinated by you!

He finds it very interesting how you can survive without you organs inside of your body, and will run dozens of experiments on you (with your permission ... mostly)

However, he prefers that you keep them in the jars since he can become easily grossed out

Donnie can be very attentive when he wants to be, and is always very hyper aware of your health and bodily stability at all times

He'd make sure that you're never too far away from your organs because your wellbeing is very important to him :)

He'd likely create some sort of deceive that allows for your organs to be near you at all times so your body remains stables

He would also have alerts set up on his phone so that he would be notified every time you body starts to become unstable

If you ever get too far away from your organs, he would notice right away and get you back to them as quickly as possible

You're more than likely some type of mummy yokai, so the two of you would probably spend a lot of time in the hidden city

Since you're an undead, you don't have the disadvantages of human mortality

This makes you a lot more durable than a normal human, so you often go on missions with the boys to protect the city

Even though Donnie can get a bit grossed out at times, he's more so interested in learning about you and how you work

Rise!Leo x Reader

Takes place mostly during season 1 episode 7

Like a traditional mummy, you were originally human

You met the turtles through your childhood best friend, and quickly became close friends with the boys (especially Leo)

After a few months of hanging out with the boys, you often felt useless and left out when the turtles and April would head out on missions

Once you started dating, Leo was adamant that you stayed in the lair with Splinter so you wouldn't get hurt

However, you were confident abilities (you had been training with the boys for the past few months) and were sure you could help, regardless of what Leo thought

On their latest mission, the boys planned on eliminating the rest of the oozesquitos plaguing New York

After the boys left the lair, you distracted Splinter with his favorite television show and sneak out after them

Once you snuck out of the lair, you were able to use the tracking app that Donnie had installed in your phone in order to track them down at some hotel in the middle of the city

Once you got there, you caught up to them inside of Big Mama's office

"What are you doing here (Y/N)? I told you to stay home with Splinter. This place is way to dangerous!" Leo asked urgently

Before you could explain yourself to your boyfriend, Big Mama had quickly captured all five of you in her webs, and you ended up being tied together with Leo

After Baron Draxum had arrived and stolen back his oozesquitos, you and the boys were able to free yourselves from Big Mama's webs using the spikes on Raph's shell

After their escape, Leo used his mystic swords to create a portal to the roof to confront Draxum

As Leo and Raph jump through the portal, you quickly follow after them to support them in their fight with Draxum

As the three of you were on the roof with Draxum, you quickly started passing the jar of oozesquitos to one another in an attempt to avoid Draxum's mystic vines

However, you were quickly at a stalemate as you and Raph had the oozesquitos, while Draxum had Leo in his grasp, hanging over the edge of the building

"Let my boyfriend go!" you yelled at Draxum, getting into a defensive stance

Even though you weren't the strongest fighter, you couldn't just stand there and watch when Leo's life was on the line

After Draxum dropped Leo, you could only watch helplessly as Raph activated his mystic powers and dove after him

Now, you were stuck on the roof with Draxum by yourself

Draxum easily overpowered you, and quickly captured the jar of oozesquitos with his vines

When he was finally back in control of the oozesquitos, Draxum ordered them to fly out to the city and mutate the humes, the closest one to them being you

As you were bitten by the oozesquito, you felt your body begin to change

You suddenly felt very hollow inside, like something was missing from your body

Several bandages also appeared along your body, covering large sections of your skin

Along with your mutation, several small jars appeared

Upon inspection, you realized that your organs had been stored inside of them

Weeks after the incident occurs, you became more adjusted with your new form

Donnie had run countless experiments on you since your mutation, and he quickly discovered that you must stay close to your organs at all time, or else your body would become highly unstable

As the family medic, Leo is very vigilant about the location of your organs

He had panicked several times when you passed out after accidentally being too far away from your heart

Due to being permanently undead, you no longer had to worry about human mortality

After you became more comfortable with your new body, Leo was more agreeable to your instance on coming on missions with him and his brothers, although he was still very overprotective of you

Whether you're hanging out together in the lair, or out on a mission, he always makes sure that you're never to far away from your organs

Your safety is always his number one priority

TMI Tuesday: What did you think of the previous generation MLP cartoons like G1, G3, and G3.5?

G1 - Iconic! If G1 never happened, the my little pony fandom likely wouldn't exist. I've never watched G1, but the art style is super cute and I love the 80's filter, I'm a huge vintage fan!

G2 - I know next to nothing about this generation. Never watched it, barely knew it existed honestly... ^^'

G3 - This is the generation I started to grow up with! As a 2000's baby, I grew up watching G3 movies such as; A Very Minty Christmas, The Princess Promenade and Pinkie Pie and the Ladybug Jamboree (those are the 3 mains ones I remember the best) along with some others. It isn't my favourite generation as looking back on the art makes me a little uneasy, but I still go back to watch the movies and episodes to this day for the nostalgia as G3 was released in 2003!

G3.5 - Wait this exists?

G4 - MY FAVOURITE!!! I was around 11-12 years old when MLP:FIM was released. It was my favourite show at the time and it was one of the only things I talked about. Being young and autistic, I had quite a few hyper fixations. I'd been doodling since I was a little tot, but I started to seriously get into drawing after FIM was released. I had 2 best friends who also loved the show, we all made OC's (Sugar Rush was mine, that's right, my OC is almost 13 years old!!) and came up with a story we wanted to tell over Tumblr. One of the friends lost interest, so me and my other friend started our first blog on Tumblr, including Sugar Rush and her OC. That blog is still up to this day, but I don't touch it. I stay far away from it actually as the said friend I had the blog with cut me out of her life randomly one day and said a bunch of toxic things about me online. She never brought the concerns to me, I never knew about them.

G5 - Ew, sorry. I watched the first movie with high expectations, they were shattered. I don't bother with the new generation at all. The 2D art style is cute and the 3D art style is lovely, but the story is absolute crap and I find it boring.

sure, G3 Dracula is a relatable father figure for a lot of kids, but he doesn’t quite have the same storytelling potential as G1 Dracula. I mean just imagine:

A man who was tired of the narrow-mindedness and aristocracy of Vampire Culture, and so tried to distance himself from it by moving to a recluse area, where the locals feared an hated him. Met a pregnant woman whom had been cast out by her own people, and strangely enough held no hatred for him. Helped her become financially stable so she and her child didn’t have to be homeless and starving. Was unable to save her life, but arrived just in time to save her daughter by turning her into a vampire. Took the daughter under his wing and raised her as his own. Brought her to live immersed in Vampire Culture when they were chased away from their home. Realized that nothing had changed since he left and the aristocracy was as backwards and toxic as ever. Decided he did not want to raise his daughter in that environment and moved to a multicultural monster-neighborhood in America to get as far away from their Vampire Supremacist bs as possible, and so Draculaura could have more friends her age and have regular teenager problems.

I mean. There’s so much you could get into here. G1 one never really did get into it, but it’s there for your imagination to have fun with.

WIP Update - 26 April 2023

Back on track with a satisfyingly productive writing week -   I touched 6 fics (5 WIPs  & 1 new work)  for a total of  2281 words.  

On Ao3, I posted:

An Arranged Insult  -  No Powers/Flower Shop AU Stucky meet-cute

A Moving Target   -  Bucky & Steve & Clint (and Tony) firing range shenanigans drabble.     

I  have  15 active WIPs  with my  current  deadlines being  the Stucky and Avengers bingos.  

See  below cut for what I’m working on/planning to work on - arranged more or less by bingos/challenges/etc.  As always, feel free to send me   prompts or plot bunnies as well as asks regarding  any of these projects  or any other WIPs I’ve got out there.   Interaction really helps feed the Muse and keep me motivated!

Seek & Destroy Collab

After reading @psychiccatpanda‘s amazing   Morguna and the Green Queen, I  got the itch to explore the Soldier’s POV and talked  Faustie into   collab’ing with me!  We’re working on a new part of the series, and I’ve  contributed about 900 words towards the  2300-ish we have so far.   Going to see if I can squeeze any of my BBB squares into this fic.  

Stucky Bingo Round Four [SB_R4] (Ends 31 May 2023)

Twenty fills with two bingos and 3 WIPs with a couple of other vague ideas.

* B1 - Mutual Pining -  Leaning toward the Centerfold fic idea I’ve been toying with for awhile: a Modern No Powers AU where Bucky’s high school crush (skinny!Steve) is a model in a softcore porn mag.

* G3 - Music -- used this for the  Stucky Bingo April 2023 Round Robin  - a College AU featuring mutual pining and meddling friends.  I contributed 348 words to the 1733 total.

*O1 - Identity Porn -  Posted the first chapter of Surrender (But Don’t Give Yourself Away)      It’s a WinterIron –>Stuckony  Steve POV fic based on the following 3 Prompts –> Summary game prompt :  Praise Kink, One Night Stand, Identity Porn    It came in at 2192 words and crossed over with my    WIB   Praise Kink,  BB_C4 Rich and ACB April adoptable Submission squares and is going multichapter.  Chapter 2 will fill my BBB KINK: “Please let me come” and WIB Edging squares and is up to 357 words.  I would estimate another 1.5-ish k words to wrap things up …?

* O4 - AU: Supernatural -  got inspired by a dream to start a Stucky fantasy AU (magician!Steve/ensorcelled!Bucky) that @bill-longbow   is collaborating on with me. We’re currently sitting at 1640 words (984-ish of which are mine).    I really need to pick this back up & get it going 😬

*Adoptable1 - Remix one of your own fics – Finally cracked this thanks to another 3 Prompts –> Summary game: Wings, Transformation, Confession.  I’m planning a Bucky POV of part of Take What Was Wrong (And Make it Right) the obvious title - Half of the Flesh and Blood That Makes Me Whole. 😁  I’ve got 715 words in so far  and may try to crossover with something from my new BBB card!

Avengers Bingo Round Four [AvB_R4] (Ends 2 June)

This  time around the card is a 3x3,  so am looking at writing different   pairings for my two favorite Avengers - Tony and Steve.    I have 3 fills  completed and three WIPs, with a couple more ideas in play.   Need to get moving on this as well!

*A2 -  “Don’t leave me, please.” -  maybe combine with SB Adoptable -Remix own fic?  

* B2 - Crossover AU – this might be a good excuse to resurrect my Star Wars  Stucky/Stuckony AU - Never More to Go Astray …  

* B3 - Mistaken Identity -  I’m planning a third chapter of my Tony/Rhodey  Western AU   Decision at Sundown   based on the ficlet I wrote to fill the “Wet Your Whistle”  FFC23 prompt.   The expansion will make both this square (and probably the fic itself) more explicit.  😁

* C1 - Babysitter AU -   Started working on a collab with MagicaDraconia16 - tentatively titled Peremesnik (aka Three Avengers and a Baby). This will crossover with my  ACB Babysitter square and will involve  Steve, Bucky & Tony kidfic shenanigans.  Chapter 1 is sitting at  2205 words (my part - roughly 1400 words)  with another 500-ish already in chapter 2 (300-ish are mine).

* C2 - Accidentally in Love - using this  and my BB_C4 Omegaverse square for chapter 2 of Making All Things New  Omega!Sex Worker!Bucky falling for  Alpha!Cap!Steve  (and vice versa) during an assignment.  It’s up to 1460 words and I’m probably ending the chapter here  and add one more to finish the fic it up.

* C3 - Dog Tags - seems like a good  Steve/Sam square, especially if I combine it with my  SWB Steve Rogers square.

Bucky Barnes Connect Four Alt-Juniverse Event (BB_C4)[ends 30 Jun 2023]

Signed up for this event over at @buckybarnesevents - you get a four-square card featuring ideas for AUs.  The prompts can be used as stand-alones or combined with each other or other events.   Thanks to crossovers, I have  two fils and WIPs for the other two squares!

I have 3 fills completed and two WIPs for this brand-new bingo event that I’m helping mod!  Still getting my thoughts together on what to match up with other cards, but   think I’m going to try to combine my B column squares for the Iron Soldier badge (complete a bingo with a single work). – Alpha Tony Stark, “That was not my intention.”, James Rhodes,Alpine loves Tony and Blind date.

* I4 - Identity Porn - this will go along well with the drafted  Chapter 7 of   Takin’ What They’re Givin’ (‘Cause I’m Workin’ for a Livin’) where Bucky meets Tony and they find a way to keep his identity a secret after all.  This chapter is coming in at 2988 words and  will post May 5th.

On  other creative fronts:  I have a Frankenstein’s Monster Stuffed With Character figure in progress. I have multiple commissions from the Hall of Heroes  Comic Con to work on and am prepping for a con in June  so am  pretty well booked up through early summer.

my 2022.

alright gamerz itz that time of year again 4 Gamerz Yearly Retrospective!!!

so uhh im not gonna sugarcoat it: this year rlly sucked. a lot of stuff went down this year that id rather not go into detail abt here, but its been rough and unfair and sometimes i felt like it was never gonna get better. add onto that skool being mega rough, facing tons of imposter syndrome over my identity, anxiety, World Events, and fricktons of executive dysfunction, and youve got urself a total recipe for disaster.

but amidst all the doom and gloom.. i had better days. i played videogames and arcade games, i hugged the stuffing out of plushies, i anticipated release dates for new videogames, i got my hands on the g3 monster high dolls and relieved my childhood, i still luv siivagunner and wii deleted you and invader zim and deltarune, i got into just shapes & beats, i discovered the tourney community through mashup week: megamix and made some amazing friends, i got into creepypasta and yfm and osu and taiko no tatsujin and arcane and tmk, i got kirby and the forgotten land and splatoon 3 both on launch day and have had SO MUCH FUN with both of them, i luved watching ghost files and puppet history s5 after school and catching new toh and g3 monster high episodes,,

ive also acomplished some milestones too. first time getting an award for one of my cosplays, coming out as arospec [and proceeding to fall in platonic luv with my irl bestie xd], getting a compression top/binder, getting the awesome short emo hair i wanted for months, first time cosplaying at a convention, getting diagnosed with adhd and finally confirming what i had suspected for so long but never outright said due to self-doubt and fear of faking, starting medication, being in counseling/art therapy, trying sodas and monster energy and starbucks frappucchinos with no coffee, and learning to luv being "cringe".

but overall the best thing i did to make it through 2022 was,, just being me. i wrote. i drew. i roleplayed. i cosplayed. i scrolled through social media and chatted with friends far away from me. i read and wrote fanfics. i crafted. i brainstormed. i coded. i listened to music and cranked the volume on my gamer headset with cat ears. i was so very Not Normal about fictional characters. i made new friends and still kept up with old ones. i revisited old fandoms. i vibed in the front yard while listening to music. i checked the mail pretty much every day, secretly hoping one of my pieces of fandom merch would be there. i supported my family through the hard times, and they always supported me. i imagined scenarios and animatics and animation memes while listening to music. i listened to fandom lofi while trudging through overdue assignments. i rocked out to skrillex and monstercat and camellia playing beat saber at 8 in the morning for my virtual p.e. class last year. i learned the absolute beauty of platonic love. i started making unironic mary sues just for the heck of it. i felt so many emotions. i cried of happiness and of sadness. i hugged. i made vent art on my phone. i had complicated feelings. i felt like a faker at times. i was [and still am] learning to overcome climate doomism and death anxiety. i was weird, i was imperfect, i was cringe... but i was so cool for embracing my weirdness, my imperfection, and my cringiness, and i wouldnt have it any other way.

i know i can survive whatever life throws at me. ive got my friends and family by my side, and just being me in the face of.. well, everything, is the strongest thing i can do. im tired of lying down and just taking it. im tired of feeling hopeless. i will fight. i will persist. i will find ways to cope with anxiety and executive dysfunction. and above all, i will continue to love. i will love my family and friends who always have my back, i will love my interests and hobbies, no matter how weird they may seem to others, and i WILL learn to love myself.

after my 2019 retrospective post, i always hesitated a bit to look to the new year with confidence and resilience and hope, in fear of my hopes being crushed and being miserable. now i see that no matter what, lifez gonna be hard sometimes, but i am strong and i will NOT BACK DOWN.

so, for the first time in years, ill say it again. and i rlly, TRULY mean it when i say this:

BRING IT ON, 2023. this scenekid and tourney-obsessed geek can and WILL handle WHATEVER U THROW AT ME!!
