WHAT IF- What if the original owner of that body took possession? Just for a moment? Doysotevsky could have let the shift happen, only for a moment to make it genuine. It would also explain "what year is it?"

I may spouting bullshit here, but thing is: fyodor had no reason to write that note. None at all. So, what does it mean? It wasnt ever explained in the actual story. It's possible that the original owner of the body is still alive even after fyodor takes possession.

This could mean Bram is alive.

Also the fact that Bram could feel fyodor taking possession a bit before it happened? Oughhhh. Ouooooghhhh. Meaning: something tells them it's going to happen. With the guard, we didn't see much other than him tweaking out, but Bram? Bram was aware he was being taken over and had the time to warn aya (probably due to his experience with abilities).

Does this mean that the hosts can detect fyodor, and even still be in there? Is it possible their consciousness- or perhaps even their soul- still remains?

How Fyodor will escape Meursault and how he's communicating with the outside

This is a continuation of my theory on Fyodors true ability here

TL;DR Fyodors ability manifests with a face and a different outfit which no other ability does... except Elise. It also doesn't attack him and is able to merge with him without its gem being destroyed.

If Elise manifests with a face because she has one even outside of the fog, could that mean that Fyodors ability is able to manifest as a copy of him even outside of the fog as well? And if so how will that play into the current arc?

This panel is what really convinced me something was up

"...You can't kill me."

not "You can't kill me, like this" or "This won't be enough to kill me" just simply "You can't kill me"

Why? why can't Dazai kill him, even if he had a skill of immortality Dazai would only have to touch him and he'd be defenceless. So why...?

I think its because he's not even there to begin with, even if Dazai defeats this Fyodor, the real one is still out there.

It would perfectly call back to the ending of "The Cannibalism"

Imagine it. Dazai, after the long and frustrating back and forth, finally confronts Fyodor. He reaches to touch him.

"It doesn't matter if I don't know your ability, it will be useless against me"

Only for Fyodor to vanish the moment he touches him. leaving Dazai, Sigma and Chuuya shocked.

"He got me... The rat was never here to begin with."

It also explains a ton of other stuff Fyodor's been able to do in the series:

It explains how he was able to poison the Order of The Clock Tower agents in the plane.

How he's able to seemingly disappear from the roof top in TUO.

Why he personally stabbed Mori and shot Katai.

He never actually put himself in danger, he simply wanted other people to think he could be anywhere at any time.

It would also explain how he's 'Communicating' with the outside, he isn't. The Fyodor on the outside is simply acting the same the Fyodor on the inside would, so he knows how things will play out. Dazai can never figure out his method of communication if there is no communication in the first place. He simply knows himself so well he can guess exactly how things are going outside.

I also want to point out Fyodor's epithet: The Conjurer

What does a Conjurer do? They make things appear out of nowhere! it fits perfectly.

Fyodor is using that power to trick people into thinking he is omnipotent, by seemingly affecting things out of his reach he feels like a god, organising events exactly how he wants. But in reality there is another Fyodor doing the leg work.

BSD Theories: Fyodor’s ability

*spoliers for chapter 114 of Bungou Stray dogs manga*

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?! Fyodor is somehow still alive?!

But at least we have new information about his ability and can possibly narrow it down.

In the latest chapter, it was revealed that the solider who died when he touch Fyodor likely died from Hawthorne’s ability that was transferred into a bullet and the blood on the bullet transferred to the soldier, that’s what killed him. So Fyodor unaliving people by touch isn’t his true ability.

But that begs the question, how Karma died ?

If you don’t remember Karma, he was the boy that works under Ace (a port mafia executive) he met when Fyodor was captured before the Cannibalism Arc. He touched Karma (or we assume that he did) and Karma died. In both the manga and anime show a similar scene

(anime: the entire hand was around the his face and there was a glow from the hand. Manga: Fyodor touch his forehead and in the next scene we saw him remove his hand as he was walking by Karma)

We can see or assume that he died because of Fyodor making direct contact with him.

But this and the last chapter raises the old question that fandom has since we saw Fyodor: what is his ability ?

Earlier when I was reading the chapter on Tumblr, someone commented that Fyodor’s ability was the same ability that was involved with the death of Kyouka’s parents (the blood manipulation). I do agree with them because in the chapter we saw Fyodor ��die” and some of the blood got in to the soldier’s eye and something started happening to him. So maybe his ability is related to blood and that would explain the anemia. Fyodor in BSD has anemia but I was looking up if the real author Fyodor had it but he didn’t. His health wasn’t the best but it wasn’t because of anemia, it was because of epilepsy. So maybe in BSD, the blood being related to his ability and how he used it might be the cause of why he had anemia.

But it doesn’t explain the immorality. I still like to believe it was the transfer theory I suggest in my last BSD post ( the one where the more lives had passed because of Fyodor’s ability, he gains the remaining years of those people ). But since we had to factor in the possibility of Fyodor’s ability relating to blood or being the same ability as the one involved with death of Kyouka’s parents, it’s possible that it is a mind control ability or relating to the mind. Like consciousness. It’s possible to be both. Like he could manipulate blood to control people or transfer his consciousness to someone else.

The reason I mention the transfer of consciousness is because at the end of the chapter, Dazai dug up Fyodor’s “body” and it doesn’t look like him anymore. It looks like a puppet or Frankenstein body because underneath the eyes, it looks like there are stitches. But if that’s the case, where is Fyodor ?

Fyodor is 100% alive. We don’t know his ability yet and the Jesus line before he died was a telltale sign.

FYODOR DOSTOIEVSKY IS FUCKING ALIVE

His ability is not based on "killing someone when he touches them", but rather taking the body of whoever kills him.

Crime and Punishment - Crime: Killing Fyodor / Punishment: Becoming Fyodor.

Now it makes sense why his ability didn't attack him when he was separated from him during the events of DEAD APPLE, and he clearly said so: "I am the crime, I am the punishment."

And as a consequence, even though another vampire killed him, he had to take Bram because he is the one who has control of the vampires' actions. And according to Dazai, the antidote would not even have killed him by hand, because what Fyodor wanted was to get to Bram and do the same thing he did in DEAD APPLE: welcome singularities.

Theory about Fyodors ability

In The Dead Apple we see some really interesting details about Fyodors ability that I think give us a clue about what it can do

An aspect of Fyodor ability is the power to summon a copy of himself, the Punishment to his crime.

Which is why his ability wears a different outfit, it had already separated before the fog even began.

Update in Fyodor theory post for Chapter 114

*Spoilers for chapter 114 of BSD*

Someone on twitter pointed it out something very interesting. Back when Fyodor was captured by the Port Mafia and was with Karma, he had gotten a cut on his finger and the hand he gotten the cut on was the same hand he use to unalive Karma with.

So Fyodor’s ability being relate to blood seems to be more likely.

But I also want to point out something as well. It is possible that Hawthorne’s ability was involved in Karma’s death as well. Someone on my last post suggested that Karma was k**led because of Hawthorne’s blood bullet because he was on Fyodor’s side at point. While it was unlikely that it was specifically the bullet, Hawthorne could have been involved being he is a known ability user that uses blood. It might have been a collaboration of the two abilities that may have triggered by Fyodor’s ability or it was triggered in the same way that the blood bullet was used on the soldier who died when Fyodor was arrested.

The main issue though is that we don’t entirely know about the true nature of Fyodor’s ability to say that this happened or that happens in BSD world. We can’t fully confirm that it was Hawthorne’s ability or that Fyodor managed to to manipulate Hawthorne’s ability by his own ability or that his ability is the same blood manipulation ability that was involved in the death of Kyouka’s parents. However, there are many similarities and connections between the blood related abilities and Fyodor’s ability so far that are proven to be likely true.

Crime and Punishment

The extension I gave him relates to the 2 sets of arms, as I'm sure most have noticed. The top set is the permanent one, and the bottom set is the manifested one.

To explain: CP will walk around most of the time worh his singular, normally positioned set of arms. The second pair only forms and materializes from his form when Punishment calls to **Execution**. And will retreat afterward.

Going into what I'll have CP do, considering we don't know much of Fyodor's ability and its exact rule-set. CP will follow a path of standard executioner. Whomever is pointed out, CP will follow a harrowing, relentless pursuit to execute them. Unlike Fyodor, a touch is not the preferred method for CP. Once appointed, a target CP is analytical, calculated, and adopts a very "terminator-like" approach to things. He will not be hindered or slowed and will always execute the target. Unlike Fyodor's he is ruthless, however.

Anything that applies goes. |"Decapitation- disembowelment, dismemberment", he does not care for theatrics. And neither do most of the other unleashed abilities.

Though CP is faulty, and can/ will refuse cooperation with his oh-so hated user...

That is the muddle part

The top part is a circle/ circlet/ halo. In poetry and literature, circles and circles symbolize divinity and purity, perfection. As it was in ancient times, monarchs wearing circlets of gold as a representation they were picked by the divine to rule. In poetry, the circle is also seen as infinity, a perfect geometrical form.
