(BSD) No Longer Human alternate concept
i had this daydream, it escalated, and now we're here. i'll add more to it eventually
TRIGGER WARNING: dazai-typical suicide, gun-use, blood
in this au, dazai’s ability, no longer human, is more than just a nullification power - it is an absolute rejection of harm. not only does it erase abilities, but it also prevents poisons, diseases, and even death from affecting him.
Please note that English is NOT my native language!
The gun felt cold in his hands. It was the only thing that ever felt certain anymore - cold metal, loaded chamber, inevitability.
Dazai sat on the floor of his apartment, legs sprawled out, his back against the wall. The city outside was quiet at this hour, a faint hum of distant traffic the only reminder that life went on beyond these walls. He stared at the pistol in his hand, feeling its weight, its promise.
Tonight, there would be no interruptions. No Chuuya kicking down the door. No Kunikida dragging him back to the agency with a scowl. No Kyouka hesitating at his doorstep, asking if he had eaten.
No more.
A deep breath. The taste of cigarette smoke still lingered on his tongue from earlier, though he hadn’t even finished the one he’d lit. It didn’t matter. Nothing mattered anymore.
He lifted the gun to his temple.
His finger rested against the trigger, steady despite the thoughts clawing at the edges of his mind.
It’s just a pull. Just a second of pain, if that. Just - nothing, after that.
Dazai let out a slow exhale, almost relieved. And then he squeezed.
A gunshot rang out.
The world went black.
Then, suddenly-
A violent gasp, like a man pulled out of the depths of the ocean.
Dazai's eyes snapped open. He was lying on his side, his body convulsing as he choked on something thick and metallic. Blood. His blood. It coated his lips, warm and sickly, and spilled onto the hardwood floor in a dark, glistening pool beneath him.
He couldn't breathe. His mind reeled. Am I dead? Am I dying?
No. Something was wrong.
There was something solid in his mouth, pressing against his tongue. Coughing, he spat it out. The moment it hit the floor with a soft clink, his stomach turned.
A bullet.
His bullet.
The one he had fired straight into his skull.
His shaking hands flew to his temple, searching - desperate to feel the wound, the shattered bone, the pulped remains of what should have been his exit. But there was nothing. Not even a scratch. Only wetness - blood, his blood, dripping down his face.
His breath came in ragged gasps as his mind scrambled to make sense of the impossible. I shot myself. I shot myself. I should be dead.
And then the truth slithered into his thoughts like a parasite.
He could not die.
It wasn't just abilities his power nullified. It wasn't just fire, lightning, decay - no, it was more than that. No Longer Human had stripped death itself from him. It had rejected the bullet, spat it out like a joke, like an afterthought.
A choked laugh forced its way past his lips, bitter and broken.
The apartment was silent again, save for the soft drip, drip, drip of blood falling from his chin. The realization clawed at his throat, at his lungs, at every fibre of his being.
This wasn’t a failed attempt. It wasn’t luck.
It was a sentence.
Dazai Osamu, who had spent years chasing death like an old friend, was utterly and completely incapable of reaching it.
His hands curled into fists, nails digging into his skin hard enough to hurt. But pain was meaningless now, wasn't it? What was a little sting when he was cursed to walk this earth forever?
His chest heaved, and suddenly, he was laughing. A horrible, broken sound, somewhere between hysteria and despair. It echoed in the empty apartment, swallowed by the walls like a secret.
What a joke.
What a sick, cruel joke.
He had always thought life was meaningless. But now, it wasn’t life that was meaningless. It was him.
A being that could not die had no purpose, no reason to exist. He was outside the natural order, something that should not be.
The blood on the floor glistened under the dim light, staining his reflection as he stared at it. And for the first time in his life -truly, deeply- Dazai was afraid.
Because he would never leave this world.
He would never rest. He would never be free.
How pitiful his existence turned out to be.

Crime and Punishment

The extension I gave him relates to the 2 sets of arms, as I'm sure most have noticed. The top set is the permanent one, and the bottom set is the manifested one.
To explain: CP will walk around most of the time worh his singular, normally positioned set of arms. The second pair only forms and materializes from his form when Punishment calls to **Execution**. And will retreat afterward.
Going into what I'll have CP do, considering we don't know much of Fyodor's ability and its exact rule-set. CP will follow a path of standard executioner. Whomever is pointed out, CP will follow a harrowing, relentless pursuit to execute them. Unlike Fyodor, a touch is not the preferred method for CP. Once appointed, a target CP is analytical, calculated, and adopts a very "terminator-like" approach to things. He will not be hindered or slowed and will always execute the target. Unlike Fyodor's he is ruthless, however.
Anything that applies goes. |"Decapitation- disembowelment, dismemberment", he does not care for theatrics. And neither do most of the other unleashed abilities.
Though CP is faulty, and can/ will refuse cooperation with his oh-so hated user...
So
The middle weapon is a sword - symbolically throughout history, swords were much more often used for execution than axes were.
The sword is also the weapon of judgment and justice. The depiction of justice typically wars a blindfold, holding a sword and scales.
That is the muddle part
The top part is a circle/ circlet/ halo. In poetry and literature, circles and circles symbolize divinity and purity, perfection. As it was in ancient times, monarchs wearing circlets of gold as a representation they were picked by the divine to rule. In poetry, the circle is also seen as infinity, a perfect geometrical form. No corners, uniform, and perfectly even on every side. So the top represents heaven/ divinity.
The bottom is a chasm, a deep drop into a pit. With steep walls and no escape, under the watchful eyes of the vile.
The bottom part is damnation, failure, hell.

Continuation or more of a clean-up of my previous post, with less imagery.
One possible reason for Akutagawa's actions could be that he has come to see value in a life beyond his own. In Beast, we saw him attempting to teach those who killed his friends the value of life through killing them. However, in doing so, he lost his own way and failed to recognize that he never truly demonstrated the value of his sister’s life—or even his own—due to his recklessness. By the time he realized this, it was too late and took a lot of...well beast's drama to make him realize that, and ultimately the way he thinks and the psychology used in beast is one of the best portrayals of akutagawa as a character.
In the current timeline, of the mainline manga, to do with the above image, the answer may lie in the idea that, after everything, he has come to see value in Atsushi’s life: a life other than his own, someone similar yet fundamentally different—a true counterpart, the other side of the coin.
This could be seen as a way for Akutagawa to, in a sense, save himself or his past self. Unlike when he expressed being glad for Kyouka, this time, it is different. Here, his actions seem to reflect a profound shift, one where he acknowledges the importance of another’s survival beyond his own goals and desires.
Dazai himself stated that he knew why Akutagawa would save Atsushi. Throughout the series, it has been evident how much the two have grown from their dynamic and how their relationship has evolved. Beast provided further insight into how they might function even as friends. Their role as the successful Soukoku is something particularly compelling. Looking at previous partnerships—Mori and Fukuzawa, who stand in stark contrast and could never work together; Dazai and Chuuya, who were forced into collaboration despite their differences but remained reliable comrades when it counted—we see how these pairings reflect their respective dynamics. In contrast, Akutagawa and Atsushi embody the Yin-Yang balance. Their designs alone reinforce this contrast, illustrating how they either complement or challenge each other. While SSKK (Shin-Soukoku) may not be the best term for their unique balance, their development is undeniably profound.
From the very beginning, Akutagawa and Atsushi’s interactions have been charged with conflict, misunderstanding, and eventual growth. Akutagawa was shaped by Dazai’s ruthless mentorship, learning to equate strength with worth and mercilessness with survival. Atsushi, on the other hand, struggled with deep-seated self-loathing instilled by the orphanage director’s abuse, believing he was unworthy of love or existence. Their clashes stemmed from these core beliefs—Akutagawa saw Atsushi as a weakling unfit to be recognized by Dazai, while Atsushi saw Akutagawa as a monster incapable of redemption. However, their battles forced them to confront these misconceptions. Over time, they each began to understand that their value was not defined by Dazai’s recognition, nor by how they were treated in the past. Instead, their growth came from the challenges they faced together.
Many theories surround Akutagawa’s memory loss, but here, he is undeniably fulfilling the role of a protector—mirroring the ideals of Knight Akutagawa. Looking back, he has always had a protective streak, as seen with his deceased friends in the slums. Furthermore, Rashomon is not only an offensive ability but also a defensive one, reflecting his dual nature—capable of shielding both himself and others. This aligns with his evolution as a character, one who has always been a guardian in his own way, even if it wasn’t always apparent. Additionally, Rashomon’s adaptability is a direct parallel to Akutagawa himself; while he initially wielded it purely as a weapon of destruction, as it is shown to be, to devour everything in its way. But it also protects him with its shielding and defensive capabilities, and a knight both fights and defends for others - but besides that and making any connections there I would have to say, we all could already see his ability comes from - his coat, his clothes, his "protection" which he feels to vulnerable without (reason why he doesn't like baths.) And not to mention the moment where Dazai shot him 3 times for failing a mission and Rashomon automatically acted to defend him. His character is built on themes of survival, how the environment shaped him etc. afterall.
Akutagawa’s death had a significant impact on Atsushi, not just from a shipping perspective, but from a purely narrative and analytical standpoint. This moment is one of the most defining in the series. It also makes complete sense that Akutagawa would regain some—or even all—of his memories afterward. He had spent so long fixated on killing Atsushi, with their agreement hinging on his ability to refrain from taking lives for six months before their ultimate confrontation. This duel, if it still occurs, could parallel their fight in Beast in a meaningful way.
This act of self-sacrifice marks a crucial turning point for Akutagawa. His life had been centered on pursuing his wants, achieving his goals—many of which were rooted in selfishness. This mirrors Atsushi in some ways, especially since they both do an action (killing/getting stronger or saving lives) to give their life meaning or for feeling accepted into the world, which are both endless paths which they both need self-growth on to get to a better point (also I believe akutagawa could be going the Odasaku route which I am excited for but lets not get too into that.)
However, for the first time, this was an entirely selfless act. He wasn’t seeking personal validation or a step toward his own ambitions; he was protecting someone. Not just someone, but someone he had deemed worthy of being saved. Someone who deserved to live because he had finally come to understand, at least somewhat after this, the value of others’ lives truly, instead of from a survival kind of "the weak die, die and make way for others" which he grew up with not just in the mafia but in the slums too where it was said his lungs would burn and the people "above" would "look down" on them but never truly acknowledge their existence, its sad to think even after Dazai found him he never really showed akutagawa that he acknowledges his strength or how far he has gone really, but this itself has many theories and arguments over reasons and potentially the plot moving forward with their characters and Dazai's reasonings. Anyways, this is why Akutagawa "woke up" when Atsushi sacrificed himself, repeating the same words Akutagawa once did. It was a moment of profound narrative symmetry, one that encapsulates Akutagawa’s arc.
A notable mention here is 55 Minutes, which further supports the idea of Akutagawa’s memory resilience. Despite dying in flames, after time was reversed, he retained memories of events that theoretically never happened. He remembered the exact time of the disaster and even made a point to check on Higuchi around that same time. This suggests that certain experiences impact him so deeply that they imprint on his consciousness, even when they logically shouldn’t. A similar phenomenon can be observed with Vampire Akutagawa. Despite being under vampiric control, he retained fragments of his consciousness—spared Aya, responded to Atsushi’s words, and, most significantly, kept his promise. Vampirism should have rendered him a mindless tool, yet even then, his core principles remained intact.
This aligns with a recurring theme in Akutagawa’s character: his defiance against being controlled. He has always been a "dog" to the Mafia, yet one that could never be fully tamed. His ability to retain memories and emotions, even under extreme circumstances, reinforces his complexity as a character. This trait plays a pivotal role in his development, ultimately shaping his choices and his final, selfless decision to protect Atsushi. And of course, all of this ties back to Dazai…
Ahem, his eyes. Besides being glorious and magnificent, I've been thinking and spoke to a friend recently on this. It seems his eyes only turn white when he is scared, vulnerable, or determined in the right direction (when he said "understood" to bram there was a light in his eyes.) And we all know Harukawa's genius and interesting way of making eyes go from dark to light showing their development or a change in their views too. The darkness showing how "tainted" they are or "dark" themselves. To which Kyouka used to have dark eyes that turned light (actually kind of grey) and Dazai's is still black. Akutagawa's has also been black/dark a lot of the time, and usually when he is shocked we see his dark/black eyes shrink in surprise unlike this moment where we see the light in it and his pupil for once. So its an important moment, especially since this is where he iss regaining some if not all of his memories. Although we still need clearance on what happened to him which would be shown in the next chapters after the whole S03 4D universe lore is done dropping completely, or possibly after the Amenogozen battle. Thats all for now from The Akutagawa Fan, Charkoala, Caldera whichever name or title works.

Just rewatched The Dead Apple and noticed something about Fyodors ability.
Every other ability that doesn't have a manifestation and is brought to life by the fog follows these 2 rules.
They form a copy of their wielder with a blank face with glowing eye's, and they have their Gem weak spot on their foreheads.
The only abilities that don't follow these rules are ones that have a manifestation and even then the humanoid ones still keep the gem on their forehead.
But then theres Fyodor, his ability not only manifests in a different outfit, but with a fully detailed face.
And his gem is on his hand, which is completely different to every other ability.
So Fyodors ability has not only completely ignored the drive to kill its wielder, but also does not manifest like any other, It breaks all three rules of the fog. The only other abilities to have faces are Elise and the Tiger, both of which have physical forms with faces outside of the fog. does this mean that Fyodors ability can actually manifest as a physical person outside the fog too? is that how he's communicating with the outside world from the prison? it opens up so many questions.
But there is one other ability that also breaks all three of these rules; Atsushi's
The tiger has its gem on the back of its neck, it also has a full face and at one point it attacks rashomon instead of Atsushi which is the only other time an ability deviates from attacking its user.
We know Fyodor was the one who told Shibusawa about Atsushi, and that he somehow knew his ability was special even before it had manifested. there is some connection between them that hasn't yet been explored and I'm really excited to see where it goes.
BSD is one show where details like this are rarely just coincidences, and considering how much mystery there is around Fyodors ability I'm sure that there is way more going on then it would first seem.
Analysing this gave me a new theory about Fyodors ability but I'll put that in a separate post, for now please tag me if this post inspired any new theories for you, I'd love to here them

Bungou Stray Dogs- Opposite Ability AU
I really want to make a long fic that goes alongside cannon events and explains everything that would happen in this AU.
Imagine the cast of BSD, but their abilities are opposite. Like, Dazai's ability to nullify other abilities on contact becomes the ability to amplify other's abilities on contact. Since OG Dazai's ability works like an on/off switch, OPP Dazai's works on a spectrum, the more he touches someone, the more powerful their ability becomes. And, it doesn't just 'stop' when he stops touching them, the effect slowly wears off, which leaves the ability user craving the power Dazai can grant them. Instead of 'No Longer Human', they are 'Not Held by Human Binds', surpassing what power one human should be capable of.
Chuuya and Dazai are never paired up as Soukoko, because Chuuya's ability is a Singularity, meaning it becoming too powerful is the issue.
Dazai is never given Akutagawa to mentor, as Akutagawa needed to learn precision over pure power.
Dazai never leaves the Port Mafia, as his loyalty lies with Mori, it seems.
Atsushi never meets Dazai drowning in the river, never joins the Armed Detective Agency, never engages against the Port Mafia- But, he does have a bounty over his head. Several groups try their luck at capturing 'The Moonlit Tiger'

The World?
Chapter 119 Spoilers
I was rereading Beast and near the end when Dazai is talking about the world taking place in the book, there’s this panel;

To paraphrase, it basically says that things written in the book switches places with the real world. So, the world isn’t the original.
And we know Fyodor wrote in the book, not to mention that in 119 Fyodor mentions that the book is their origin and originally I took this as a metaphor but then…why would a world need a bookmark as Fyodor called Atsushi. A world inside the book would need one but not the original.
So, the world we’re seeing could just be an alternate timeline and the original world is far away. This could also explain why everyone didn’t really die but instead get ‘materialized’, turned into atoms or dust or whatever. Their existence ripped out of the world, because it’s not their original world.

Bungou Stray Dogs Original Abilities
I made the following abilities for Bungou Stray Dogs that are free to use with credit. The name of the abilities are mainly based off of the titles from the works of authors and poets.
Last Update: 25/08/24
╰┈➤
The Snake Song by R. K. Narayan: This ability allows the user to transform into a huge serpent. They gain all the characteristics and abilities of one, enhanced to a somewhat supernatural degree. The user can also grow and shrink as per their will in this form, from the size of a normal snake to the size of a two-and-a-half storey building.
Black Beauty by Anna Sewell: This ability allows the user to manipulate their shadow to do their bidding. The strength of the shadow depends on the intensity of light around it i.e. more the light, the stronger the shadow. If more than one shadow is formed by a light source, the user can control all of them at once. However, the attacks will be much weaker as the ability will be split between several shadows.
A Living God by Yakumo Koizumi (born Lafcadio Hearn): This ability allows the user to bring their echo to life. They can use it to relay messages and find hiding spots of specific targets by their will for up to thirty minutes at a time. However, this ability can work only in a closed rooms with hard walls.
War and Peace by Lev Tolstoy: This ability allows the user to induce either positive or negative feelings in its targets. They can induce a sense of violent rage which can suppress the affected person’s thoughts and cause them to blindly attack others as well as induce a sense of peace that replaces the rage with bliss and serenity. However, this ability can work only in a limited area and the user’s mind may divide to handle the opposing forces.
There Will Come Soft Rains by Sara Teasdale: This ability allows the user to converse with the flora and fauna environment to the point of convincing them to act as personal messengers and spies. However, since the user has such a strong connection to nature, dangerous and unstable situations like violent conflicts can cause a lot of mental anguish.
Daffodils by William Wordsworth: This ability allows the user to induce a sense of blissful peace into anyone they touch after activation. While it is useful for calming people down, it can also be used to hypnotise people into a state of such penetrating ecstasy that not only does it render them completely ignorant to their surroundings but causes the victim to experience intense desperation and need to feel that kind of serenity for days after breaking out of it.
Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol: This ability allows the user to transport anyone they touch into a pocket dimension called Wonderland upon activation. It is frequented by characters such as the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter etc. who take on absurd forms and try to keep the target inside Wonderland by the means of bizarre requests. However, the target can escape by ignoring the characters’ demands and finding the exit. This ability is quite similar to Lucy’s.
‘The Scottish Play’ by William Shakespeare: This ability allows the user to imbue anyone with misfortune if anyone except themselves whisper the name ‘Macbeth’. The user has no control over what the misfortune is or when it will happen as the ability only assures them that it will happen with certainty. They may also revoke the curse by uttering the words, ‘fair is foul, and foul is fair’.
Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl: This ability allows the user to manifest a fox-like phantom which can steal any object the user tells it to do so but on the condition that the stolen object is used to help someone.
Vasilisa the Beautiful by Alexander Afanasyev: This ability allows the user to call upon a magical doll named Vasilisa to aid them in various tasks. Vasilisa can perform simple actions such as scouting, delivering items or providing advice. She can also heal minor wounds or provide temporary boosts to skills, adding to her role as a helpful and protective companion.

BSD CHAPTER 114.5 SPOILERS!!
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ASAGIRI
I AM GOIGN TO BREAK INTO HIS HOUSE WHAT THE FUVKKKKKKKKKKK
BRAM IS ALIVE HE HAS TO LIVE HES NOT ALLOWED TO DIE HES GOTTA LIVE HES JUST GOTTA
Also. TRIPLE SINGULARITY ?????!!!!!?!??!!!?
WHATTTY THE FUCK IMLISSEIBG MY MIND IM GONE IM ON THE FLOORRRR WAHT
Also fyodors ability!!! Tbh it wasn't what I was expecting exactly, but I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE BODY TSKING ON HIS LOOKS LETSSS GOOOOO
WHERE ARE MY BOYS ATSUSHI AND AKUTAGAWA BRO BRING THEM BACKKKKKK 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Also SPEAKING OF THEM- REMEMBER THE THING AT THE END IF THE ANIME THAT ATSUSHI AND AKUTAGAWA WERE GONNA FIGHT? THATS THE TRIPLE SINGULARITY. IF. IF U DIDNT ALREADY KNOW.
Also fukuzawa protecting aya and bram calling aya "my princess" 😭💔
IM REALLY WONDERING SBOUT THAT SINGULARITY....... WE GOTTA BRING VERLAINE OUT OF THE BASEMENT FOR THIS ONE 😭
Hidudhwjdjrjwjejrhshwjwhrhkfkd
Also props to soukoku for doing nothing but look pretty this chapter. Love that for them
WHERE. IS MY BOY NIKOLAI HIM WORRIED ABOUT HIM 😭
My mind can't get off that singularity.... The abilities in BSD are one of my favorite things 😋😋 and singularities are so Jejfjsjwfjjwbdjfjejsjdbejdfbjdjsjs
Also FYODOR JSUT WONT STAY DEAD 😭 but is IS possible to kill him, just use poison or smth like that like dazai said. But he ALSO said "it wouldn't do to die by my hand" does that mean fyodors ability doesn't work on dazai? Is dazai the only one that can safely kill fyodor????? And if he is, does that mean fyodor is going to fight dazai while akutagawa and atsushi fight the triple singularity?
Or is it that fyodor will have the triple singularity kill him so he can become the singularity? I don't think so tho, seeing how it was only semi-senitaint at the end of the anime.. plus, fyodors goal seems different.
What IS fyodors goal here? What is he trying to achieve here? But besides that, since he took control of bram, I'm guessing he now has the ability to control all vampires. What does he plan to use the vampires for?
Idk but I'm absolutely losing my mind. We FINALLY got a fyodor ability reveal !!!!!! And although it wasn't as interesting as some of the theories, I'm just glad we finally know. It would make him really annoying tho..

Assuming the special division for unusual powers is the one that assigns names for each Ability, they probably named Dazai's Ability 'no longer human' in tribute to the fact that only humans are affected by Abilities, such that being unaffected by them is alien, and therefore branded as 'not human' (take Lovecraft for example). The painful part is that they called it no longer human in recognition to the fact that he was once human, making it all the more tragic for him. Imagine telling a middle schooler he was no longer considered a human; he literally just lost his humanity, and will probably be abused for it, the adults should've seen suicide coming from a mile away.
#saff-ron tag#i believe that the#the idea of Dazai being some sort non human eldritch entity was heavily influenced by the division of unusual powers#no child would lose their self worth on their own there is always a place of influence#bsd#bungou stray dogs#bsd dazai#dazai osamu#bsd dazai osamu#osamu dazai#no longer human#bsd abilities#abilities#the special division for unusual powers#How Is That Not A Tag#bungo stray dogs

I have a theory for season 6
First thing first, the background: The whole DOA's plan. From the purpose that pushed Fukuchi to do that: massive war in the future that killed millions of people all around the world, more severe than Great War which ended 15 years ago (before the main storyline). Then fueled as well by the hate to corrupted people in the government body who caused those issues. Therefore he tried to combine all armies in the world under one command leader, Army of Mankind to mitigate the future war. Therefore, a strong current incident/terror should be made in order to make the United Nations realize how important that thing is. And as Fukuchi confirmed, the proposal of DOA's plan came from Fyodor, which means he told Fyodor about the massive future war.
Now here several scattered info from Stormbringer novel apply in: The future big war Fukuchi mentioned is probably a singularity war. The Great War (the beginning of several major issues in BungoSD) as confirmed in Stormbringer novel, European countries competed to create singularity to be a weapon. Why singularity? Because, only singularity has enough energy to harm the world. Ability alone is considered as not harmful as it can't raze the world on its own because one of the ability principles: Ability has an output ceiling. This output ceiling doesn't exist in singularity (more about this in Stormbringer)
Three major powers during the Great War: England, France, and Germany competed to achieve that goal. Germany found a theoretical way to create a powerful singularity (not the normal clashing ability way as singularity from this method has limited energy, it'll run out). Then a rebel scientist in France managed to be the first one to realize that theoretical plan into reality. He created the first singularity that can be weaponized from the theory Germany found, yes, the birth of Guivre singularity (Paul Verlaine). Germany then stole the research file, shared it to their ally: Japan and another singularity was born: Arahabaki (Chuuya). Hearing German + Japan's success in creating singularity that has enough energy to destroy the world, France tried to steal Chuuya (that time was still 7 y.o.) from the lab in Japan. But the plan failed and that destructive Arahabaki incident happened. Soon after that, Great War ended with a ceasefire signed by France, Germany, England (as confirmed in 55 Minutes about the ceasefire process)
Now you might have realized which one amongst the three major powers during the Great War didn't have singularity (from that method) as a weapon. Yes, England. Tho they created the Shell (by H.G.Wells, first mention in 55 Minutes) and One Order. The Shell vs the new singularity: The Shell energy itself caused massive annihilation, a singularity effect, but fun fact, the energy was not enough to destroy Guivre singularity, instead it made Guivre stronger
Now, combine those things together with facts in Season 5. All of us witnessed that entity at the end of Season 5, right? Based on info in Stormbringer, that entity high probability is a singularity from Fukuchi's ability created from the same concept as Guivre (Verlaine) and Arahabaki (Chuuya) creation. Yes, few rare people in the world can create powerful singularity with near-UNLIMITED amounts of energy just by using their own ability. These people are called having "self-contradicting ability". Chuuya's original ability that created his singularity is "ability to amplify other abilities". Does it ring a bell? Yes, Fukuchi's ability is ability to amplify the effectiveness of any object he uses as a weapon, so theoretically Fukuchi is one amongst the special people. Full process about creating the singularity in Stormbringer
Now the question, why did that entity suddenly appear? Here is the crazy part of my coping theory: Another bigger and powerful party is involved. Huh? Yes. [Note: This is just me connecting the dots so I might be wrong] Remember which major power country doesn't have the singularity weapon during the Great War? Yes, England. What if England was behind this? Why? Remember we've seen Fyodor, Fitzgerald, and Agatha Christie (from the Order of the Clock Tower of England) were on call a long time ago in the manga. So, they know each other. Remember again who proposed the plan to Fukuchi? Fyodor. What is Fyodor's ultimate goal as mentioned the first time during the Cannibalism arc? Remove the sinners (ability users). So, what if the appearance of Fukuchi's singularity was planned so England can capture it (somehow) to be their weapon?
Now, add another thing from Stormbringer, Verlaine ,Chuuya's older brother who is also currently one of the 5 executives of Port Mafia, mentioned the Storm that will happen in the future. The only time Verlaine will appear again to give his assistance What is the Storm? He never gives specific explanations. This doesn't end here because Verlaine too has connection with the Order of Clock Tower, well... more to he caused an issue to them Verlaine destroyed the Order of the Clock Tower's credibility beyond repair as he easily killed 3 members of the Order and assassinated the Queen (glad the Order used body double) during her coronation. So, what if the other purpose of England doing this was to restore that? other than to obtain a powerful weapon (a singularity).
This also might somehow explain about why Fyodor can easily believe Chuuya was under control. Well, we don't know Meursault Prison's location, but it might be in France (as Meursault is a real location in France). Remember the thing France did during Great War? They tried to steal Chuuya from Japan. Now with Chuuya destroyed Meursault prison, France has strong reason to capture him. Plus Fyodor specifically targeted Chuuya to appear there. Remember when Nikokai asked him whether he wanted to change item? Fyodor basically said no need as he had assistance already (Chuuya).
I also think adam might come back or might save chuuya if he ends up being captured
but yeah this is all i have

A while ago I messed around making up abilities for authors I like based on their books, and today I decided to come up with one for Arthur Conan Doyle. (it was really hard to choose which book to use)
User: Arthur Conan Doyle Ability: The Hound of The Baskervilles
This ability allows the users to summon and control a massive semi-spectral hound, as large as a lioness with jet black fur and tongues of blue fire seeping from its mouth and eyes. The user must assign a target for the ability to active, to assign a target they must steal something like a piece of clothing or something else that the target always keeps near them.
Once the user has assigned a target, the hound will begin to stalk them relentlessly, no matter how far away they are from the ability user. The hound will appear only to the victim and the user, though it can leave physical traces such as footprints, claw marks and fur. The hound can also emit a guttural wail that sounds like a cross between low thunder and a wolfs howl which can be heard for miles. The hound cannot physically harm the target, but it will continue to appear to them more often and clearer over time until they die from fear or exhaustion. The only way to dispel the hound is to find whatever was stolen and return it. Killing the user will not stop the hound. I got into Sherlock Holmes a few months ago and I've been trying to think which story would make the best ability for bsd, this is just a rough idea and I'd love to try coming up with some more.
#I love coming up with ability ideas#but they have to tie into the books their based on#if people want im happy to post some of the others ive done#or if you have an author you'd like me to make an ability for send me their name and the book you want the ability to be based off#i really like making these up#bsd#bungou stray dogs#bungo stray dogs#bsd original character#bsd abilities#bsd writing#arthur conan doyle#the hound of the baskervilles
