Sry I got a question… u said in that post that Bård got corny letters in prison.. I need to hear about that lol how cringe could they have been 😭

So in that 'all hail King Faust' interview encouraging people to send letters of support plus in Slayer issue no. 10 (1994) Bård says "All letters are welcome as they will help me kill some time" (plus all the publicity at the time ofc)... The letters were flooding in.

And Bård seemed to be answering a lot of them at first. Because then later on in Slayer issue no. 11 (1998) he said:

I reached a point where I absolutely couldn't stand the infinite hordes of Black Metal kids writing me asking me stupid questions.

I still receive some mail from overwhelmingly evil spawn of Satan but I rarely answer them. I mean, I have no personal interest in writing every little spoiled brat in the world. Got better things to do, even in prison.

💀💀 Think of how much of an edgelord Bård was in those interviews when he was first arrested. It doesn't take much to imagine how cringe the fanmail would be and Bård getting fed up with it XD
