My villain origin story is that yarn weight numbers mean literally nothing. It makes me absolutely vengeful when I pick up a yarn that should work because it's supposed to be the same weight, and nope. Very different outcome.

I think the problem is that I followed the pattern to the last stitch, so it SHOULD work, and so that means I didn't fuck it up except that I didn't use the EXACT yarn being called out, but the entire fucking point of yarn weights is so you don't have to!

Anyway, off to make a tacky cape and scream on top of a building.
