vbs future au vbs disappears from the public eye from the months of november to march of their third year of high school and their fans freak out because they think they’d disbanded but in reality touya and kohane spend the first three months studying for their college entrance exams and for the following three months ken doesn’t let akito and an out of weekend garage because he finds out they’re this close to not graduating. he lets them run errands on vivid street on saturday afternoons if they get good grades during the week. one time akito doesn’t show up on time and ken is like oh well what can you do he isn’t actually my kid and an’s like absolutely the fuck not and calls him 46 times in a row. turns out he missed the train. then when they do successfully graduate ken gifts them the first year’s rent on an apartment near weekend garage where they move in and have the worst apartment ever

Holy shit it’s been another year????? The hell?????

Also! Your art style is gorgeous and that being found in 2023 and then refined throughout late 2023 and the entirety of 2024 really shows, as does your growth in panel layouts, perspective, and — as you said — experimentation. If you ever post your animation or video game art I’m looking forward to it.

As cheesy as it sounds, being able to laugh at funny comics and look at all the details of your art really made my 2024 brighter, even when things were hard. Including looking at your older art— it doesn’t need to be new to be enjoyable! I’m glad your art is well loved and it’s a privilege to have been here since the (near) beginning. I hope you take care of yourself in 2025 and beyond!

You and your art bring a lot of people a lot of joy never forget that <3

Thank you so much for keeping up with my art journey throughout these last two years! Two years!!! I am baffled at how that feels both too long and too short!

Admittedly, my art summary didn't manage to capture the fact that I did a lot of comic layouts that I'm really proud of. I also drew more backgrounds and made some very detailed works (*Dungeon Meshi spoilers for these examples*).

The growth is lot more evident when comparing my 'best' comics of 2023 to 2024:

Sometimes the growth is vertical, sometimes it is horizontal - and damn, sometimes it goes out of sight into the Z-plane. But it is always happening!

yes! it's this specific passage where lucanis is just seething with rage and trying to keep a lid on it, and illario's a stablising, comforting presence. BROTHERS!!!!! <3 though i chose to draw his hand on his shoulder rather than his arm i guess. artistic liberty!

#in the future i want to discuss lucanis' anger in the short story + how spite would have made it worse #and how in my beautiful mind illario would have been the one to help him #no blood magic needed!!!!#like its a point of serious issues between the both of them and the relationship is like obviously fraught #and illario still gives his ambition pause because lucanis is losing himself to a demon and he drags him away from it #illario being a positive force despite his goals/lack of morality/etc is so interesting to me like. it doesnt matter what he's done #or the what's he's trying to do and all the usurping. lucanis is soothed just when his family is near #same applies to caterina to a . lesser extent. if they deserve this reaction from him is another thing #i also think. and important to note. that lucanis' internal narration never worries about illario's ability to finish the job #he sometimes giggles in his mind about illario not having the best balance or footing #but does not worry about the assassination being botched . and i also thought #the line 'i'm only here because of you' implies lucanis wants him to come on the job #considering he was the only one hired (the elf that greets them not recognising why he had someone with him)#so. i dont know why im saying all this actually. maybe just more on lucanis' dependancy on and care for illario + vice versa #lucanis dellamorte #illario dellamorte #answered #anonymous

I need everyone upset about Liam's promotion to understand that it had nothing to do with him being better/worse than Yuki. Yuki outperformed him. Yuki deserved the chance. BUT Yuki is not a Redbull driver. He is a Honda driver. He has no loyalty to Redbull and that is why he did not get a chance next to Max. It's not that he didn't deserve it. It's pure business.

Redbull are ending their relationship with Honda. They are creating their own engines. It's likely seen as a big liability to Redbull to have Yuki actively involved in any tests or even near anything involving the 2026 engine.

This is not an attack on Yuki or his character or anything like that, so please do not take it that way. But, Yuki's loyalty to a different engine manufacturer is a major risk to any new manufacturer like the Ford/Redbull powertrain. You just never know. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve a good drive, but Yuki's loyalty will forever be to Honda (as it should) and that poses a lot of risks for Redbull.

Once again, I am not commenting on Yuki's character or making assumptions about him when I say this, but there are a lot of big concerns if he gets promoted. He could ditch them for Aston immediately because Honda asks, he could share information about the new engine to Honda, or he could give questionable feedback that negatively impacts the new powertrain. Maybe he wouldn't do these things. But if there's even the most miniscule potential that he could, it would make any team hesitant. F1 is rampant with cheating allegations and questionable tactics to win. The teams will want to protect themselves in any eventuality. And that is what's working against Yuki so greatly.

Yuki has proven to be a very competent driver over the past year, but let's not forget that he nearly lost his seat in 2023 and the rumored reason he stayed is due to Honda. He owes his career to Honda, not Redbull. And at the end of the day, that's his main flaw within this team. It's not his driving. It's not his temper. It's not anything else. It's purely who he is aligned to poltically in the racing world. Is that fair? No. Is that how racing works? Unfortunately, yes.

#i totally understand ths frustration with this #but everyone trying to make it about his race or his temper or whatever I just don't think is true #his temper was an issue last year but he's matured a lot (at least publically) compared to the beginning of the year #i commend his efforts there #i think it'll go a long way to securing him more drives in the future #any other team will not be as vulnerable as redbull when it comes to powertrain connections until Cadillac comes in #every other team is established so there won't be issues there #i genuinely think the honda connection is really the only true thing that goes against him here #even marko admitted to shareholders being involved in this situation with regard to Checo and filling the seat #Ford was probably greatly upset at the prospect of another engine manufacturer's driver giving feedback on their engine #this has turned into a bit of an unintelligible ramble #but my point is that yuki is a good driver who deserves a good drive #and he will get one #but he does not fit in the grand scheme of things for redbull #liam is more or less dispensable to redbull #he wasn't in the running for an F1 seat until he had to be a super sub and didn't suck #the hype got him into F1 #and redbull are going to use thag while developing others like Hadjar and Lindblad #f1 #formula 1 #formula one #rbr #yuki tsunoda #red bull racing

Is this affecting you Tim? 🤭#In more ways than one. Her being kind to him in light of him knowing this #Catapulting his mind back to the person 'he used to be' and how hard he has tried to shake that choice he made all those years ago.#How hard he has tried to redeem all of that for it to come crashing back in the form of his rookie who was trying to protect him.#Because she's supposed to be different from him. She's supposed to be better. And he's mad at her for making the same choice.#But he's also mad at himself. Because he's supposed to be better and he's supposed to be different now.#Even though he isn't all that different. He was falsifying reports to protect Isabel.#He's supposed to be training her to be better and she made the same choice he made.#So his course of action is to rev up the training some more. Maybe he was too soft and lenient with her towards the end of s1 #and he lost sight of his training methods and how rules matter.#but he also lowered his walls and was vulnerable with her. He let her in.#And he's going to keep letting her in despite how much he tries to resist.#with every act of kindness she shows him... the walls break down and soften a little #until all that remains is Tim's unwavering tenderness for Lucy.#that only seems to grow more in her presence and influence.
