The gang decided to visit the Christmas market, stopping by Choji's stall to buy some candied apples.

While Ryota was lost in his own world, savouring the deliciously glazed delight, Ebisu picked out apples for the rest of his friends - unaware that Haru was about to ambush him with a snowball.

Luckily for him, Furufumi - ever prepared with a book in hand - stepped in to protect his boyfriend from the wintry attack.

Meanwhile, Hotei and Takeminakata, unusually lovey-dovey, seemed to be caught up in the magic of Christmas.

-Perhaps that's just what holiday bliss does to couples?

You brought Furufumi to the virtual fairytale world because you thought he could use some time away from the library.

Furufumi: I wish I could have stayed in the library today.

Lupin: But...

Furufumi was giving you a look that fills you with guilt.

Lupin: ... (defeated) Alright. But I don't want to go back just yet.

Furufumi: Well... I heard that there was a castle here that has a very big library. Do you think we can go there?

Lupin: I don't see why not.

Furufumi: Thank you, Lupin.

Lupin: Hey, that's what best friends are for.

With that, you and Furufumi leave for the beast's castle.

You both arrive at the castle. You both search for the library until you found it.

Furufumi: (amazed) Wow! I thought the library back at the school was this big.

Lupin: I guess it's because the girl who came to live with the beast loved book, too.

Hello, Lupin. You too, Furufumi.

Lupin: Hello, Jambavan.

Furufumi: Hello.

Jambavan: What brings, you two here, today?

Lupin: Furufumi wanted to see the library here.

Jambavan: Then, help yourselves. The library is opened to everyone.

Furufumi: (happy) Thank you, Jambavan.

Lupin: Yes, you're really sweet.

You and Jambavan smile at each other.

You and Furufumi read almost every book in the library. Most of them were just storybooks and dictionaries. You might have found a few cookbooks and spellbooks.

Furufumi: (surprised) I know this book. Licho's been looking for this one for ages. Do you think I can bring this back with me?

Lupin: That book only exists in this world. But I can ask Kurogane if he can print it out.

Furufumi: (doubtful) I don't think so. I don't doubt that he can do it, but I think someone else should do it.

Lupin: Well, if not, I could just ask R-19 instead. Mostly because I think Shiro would like this book, too.

Furufumi: I'm sure he would... Hey, thanks for bringing me here, today.

Lupin: You're welcome.

Furufumi: I wonder what Licho would think of this place. Of this world. It really is nothing like in reality. But then again, my library is probably no different.

Lupin: You really think that?

Furufumi: I've always been too scared to leave the library. I'm lucky I have many friends who help me when I have to go out. Like the festival. I had so much fun there... Especially with Licho. And you. When I'm with one of you, I know I can leave my comfort zone.

Lupin: I'm glad that we could help you.

Furufumi: I am, too. You're one of my best friends... And I'm glad about mine and Licho's connection. I want to keep going out more if you or Licho will be there.

Lupin: And what if we can't?

Furufumi: ... (smiling) You both will be with me. Physically or spiritually.

Lupin: (happy) Thanks.

You and Furufumi hug friendly... Jambavan is watching and smiling.

Before you knew it, it was getting late. You, Furufumi, and Jambavan leave the castle together and back to Candyland.
