Okay so I’m going through Hazbin first and in this post I’ll talk about how I’d structure the series as a whole.

First of all If the first season had to have 8 episodes (Looking at you Amazon (bombastic side eye)) then save Adam for the next season and focus on the cast of the hotel and how they're trying to be redeemed.

Simple, move ep 1 to the finale and have it be a cliffhanger two parter to lead into the next season like the first and second seasons of Criminal Minds did.

Then make Episode one start out with Charlie telling everyone in the hotel the history of Hell and why she's trying to redeem sinners and we're gonna add one thing that's gonna have a lot of wight behind it this season. Pentious is already a part of the cast. Charlie introduces everyone through song and the first song is a rollcall for the cast. Everyone would have a portion of the song that represents them in some way

IE: Charlie - musical theatre/showtunes; Alastor - that '30s jazz song like the one he sung in the pilot; Vaggie - punk rock; you get the idea.

Okay here's a change that's just personal preference, every character will be accompanied by a signature instrument.

Alastor would get an Organ (Because in a livestream Viv said Al has a furby organ and I cannot let that go), Lucifer has a fiddle, Adam has an electric guitar, Lute would probably have a bas guitar, The Seraphim would have trumpets, etc (I'll do a separate post for all of the instruments I think would fit each member of the cast so feel free to comment what instrument you think would best suit each character).

The rest of the episode is primarily focused on Pentious and him trying his best to fit in but failing miserably. Angel and Alastor make fun of Pentious for being so bad at redemption, ironic considering neither of them really want to redeem themselves, Vaggie has a short fuse with him and when something goes wrong she blames him even if it's not his fault, husk is apathetic toward his presence and Nifty is a creepy stalker.

It all comes to a head at the end of the episode where Charlie overhears Pentious talking to himself saying how he "Should just give up! It's never going to work. I'll go back to the ship and rot with my egg boiz." This will be relevent later. Charlie basically barges in and we getthe second song of the episode in the style of it starts with sorry.

then Ep 2 we focus on Alastor like the show did, but it's solely Alastor, I'd take the Overlord meeting from ep 3 and put it in this episode. We'd see a bit of the Vee's (Mostly Vox and Velvette leaving Val til Ep 4) the first half has to do with Vox the second with Velvette and when Alastor comes back to the hotel he is almost relieved to be back in such a familiar place where he feels in charge.

Ep 3 is a Vaggie Episode We take the trust exercises in the A plot and make that the episode. This is basically my main fix for the episode.

Charlie: Okay everyone We're doing trust exercises! The first step to trusting people is... putting yourself out there?

Vaggie: Charlie sweetheart, you know I love you and all but maybe I could take this one? You're a very trusting person and While I love that about you I'd probably be a better fit to teach these guys about trust.

Charlie: Oh! Yeah, of course. Go for it!

Vaggie: *kisses Charlie on the cheek*

This takes care of two problems I have with Vaggie. 1. She's not really a character, this episode will flesh her out by having her take the lead (willingly). 2. It doesn't really feel like Vaggie cares about the hotel or trying to redeem sinners. It feels like she just does stuff because of Charlie.

Ep 4 is Angel Dust That's pretty good the way it is but I might want to introduce Cherri bomb in this episode and have her be a larger part of the episode Like maybe she convinces Charlie to go help angel or helping angel is a stronger theme to the episode and Cherri is trying to stop Charlie from hurting Angel. I don't know, episode 4 is a solid episode and while I personally don't enjoy poison (I'm an Addict fan) I do tolerate the episode. It's written in a way that shows abuse from the perspective of the victim. I just think it's weird that Cherri (who's a big part of Angel's life isn't more involved in the episode.)

Ep 5 is a Husker/Nifty episode. We get some stuff about Husk in angel's episode and Nifty is a gag character it doesn't super seem like she need's a whole episode to dissect her.

Ep 6 probably would be a Cherri Bomb episode since she's important to the story (kinda) Mostly would be about her and angel/ her and Pentious. maybe also a subplot about the hotel not working or even attracting any customers.

Ep 7 This will be a Charlie episode where she tries everything she can to get more people to come to the hotel. we even get to hear a bit more about her past and her family life (setting up for father daughter drama in later seasons (probably season 2)) and at the end of the episode we get the big twist slash reveal about why no one's coming to the hotel. Pentious has been sabotashing them the whole time and working as a spy for Vox.

Ep 8 he redeems himself and earns every ones trust back and Charlie at the end of the episode goes to meet with Adam and he tells her

"I know it's been half a year but we'll be back in one month"

The whole season taking place over about five months. Yes, I know that's not half a year but I needed something that would flow right.

This was mostly an impulse post because of my disappointment with Vivian not getting the episode "The Full Moon" out. Now, I don't want to seem ungrateful, I truly am excited for it, but I have a schedule to maintain and I don't want to push off any of my projects just to make sure any interactions were authentic to the show.

This isn't to hate on Viv or Spindlehorse, Running two shows must be very difficult but I don't think people can dissagree that the structure of season 1 of Hazbin was messy, and I was thinking of how I'd restructure it.

'Artefacts'

A quick explanation of this common tag on my blog for anyone who started following in the past couple of years only - its simply a personal aesthetic tag derived from the artefacts found in the STALKER series of video games. Materials and objects not usually found in real life created by anomalous phenomena in the fictional Zone, for example fused sand/blood/metal junk turning into some sort of pretty crystal due to being melded together by extreme pressure. They are 'natural' in the sense that they are created spontaneously, and are valuable items that can be sold in-game, but unnatural and potentially dangerous in that the conditions in which they emerge do not occur naturally in real life. They can also be beautiful, and have both positive and negative effects when carried by the player character.

Then along comes someone in real life making a glass bauble with...I dunno...sand, tektite glass, armpit hair, and a Furby; the result is pretty, creepy and pretty-creepy. This is perfect blog aesthetic for me, and thus deserving of the tag.

I'm committing to the ruin cos it scratches me the best! But how much can I put in a one shot?

Story so far,

A dragon has been sitting on the ruin for millenia but was felled a few weeks ago! So, archeologists are checking it out. The group are a team a physically disabled lady has put together to go into the ruin on her behalf.

The story for the ruin I have is; tens of thousands of years ago a civilisation lived here. They had magic and stuff, but also had some technology. Not miraculous like aeor in critical role, more in looking for a way to offer my players a Furby or a toaster. So, dragon landed and killed some area of the city but others were able to flee. The area they're exploring was a "flee" zone, so there's few bodies and not a tonne of high valuables. Cos of the fucking ages of time that's passed there's no fabric left, but there's some clasps and metals and bits and pieces of clues. Ancient structures that you can imagine being a kitchen or a toilet. This society will be very keen on voice activated Alexa type tech, hence Clippy

They will take an unexplored tunnel that the dragon hasn't done much damage to. I'm thinking it's going to be a shopping centre so there's loads of stores. Even if most of the stuff is gone/decayed they'll find some stuff! Things they can run into;

Clippy who tries to help them but is treating them like tourists in a bustling city, no archeologists in a ruin

A black ooze slime that spawned from mouldy food millenia ago and has been eating bugs since

Another adventuring party? Maybe just one guy who fell in a hole and has been wandering here for two days not finding the way out

An invisible stalker (tracking hound but it's a scary ghost) that's trying to get into a box in a room. this box contains an extra dimensional hideyhole and a dead guy who's was hiding from the stalker (this is a combat scenario)

A flooded area with ??? Monster of some kind. Back up combat scenario.

An appliance store with some still working items, all voice activated and noisy. I need more ideas for this store or it won't be fun and I won't use it

A room with tech that gives you a long rest in one minute - will be spooky (straight stolen from critical role, love it)

I need some cool items for them to find to return with. I don't want weapons, this isn't a war outpost it's a city. So like, what's the most powerful thing I can buy now? Mobile phone. Microwave. A fridge. A car. Helicopter

So this *technically* wasn’t a request, but this scenario was all I could think about since I got this. Please don’t be mad at me.

This raid wasn’t supposed to go this way.

Claws dug into your wrist, the humanoid figure positioning himself in front of you, his back blocking out most of the steely hall. Around the corner, the Naruto-Runners were calling for retreat, your initial wave over and prepping for the flood of Karen’s who’d take their place as a distraction, while the Kyles re-stocked their Moster supply. But, their voices grew more distant as footsteps approached from the other side of your new extraterrestrial companion, the familiar sound of a magazine sliding into its chamber echoing throughout the empty space.

“Let the human go,” A steady voice called, cool and professional, as always. You already knew who it was, but still, you summoned the courage to peek around your alien’s side, only lingering long enough to see those mirror-shades and that black tie before you pulled back. It was a soldier, obviously, but not just your average, everyday soldier. An agent. An FBI agent. “I don’t want to do this, Azan, you and I are friends,” He paused, raising his glock your protector. “But I’ll do what it takes to protect my planet.”

“No!” Azan growled, the words coming out harshly, roughly, scratchily. They weren’t made for his mouth, and the teeth that nearly extended beyond the confines in his mouth certainly didn’t help. “You call us friends, but you imprisoned me. You took my craft, you kept me in a cage.” You could feel his grip tighten around your wrist, threatening to draw blood. “This human saved me! We will leave this place, or we will die together!”

You blinked, glancing between the two. Lightly tugging on your confined hand, you took a step back. “Look, man, as much as I want to die-”

“We love each other!” Azan interrupted, dragging you back into place. “You can’t take my mate away from me, I... I won’t let you.”

You were stunned, if only for a second, but the agent didn’t seem phased. He took a step forward, but no more. You could already see Azan growing more… aggressive, the black patches littered across his skin beginning to glow a vibrent blue. “I won’t let you abduct (Y/n), either.” His voice was just as smooth, but there was something else, now. An anger, an entitlement. Something you weren’t sure you recognized. Something you weren’t sure you wanted to recognize. “I’ve been watching this one for years, and you think you can just grab what you want and take it? You can’t keep my assigned citizen safe, you couldn’t even try. If anyone’s leaving with that human, it’ll be me.”

“Oh, that’s tea,” You gasped, a hand moving automatically to cover your mouth. This wasn’t just any agent, this was your agent. The man who’d watched over you for years, who’d seen every question you searched during your ‘tentacle’ phase. He was the one who’d given you the password to your neighbor’s wifi while yours was down, and always stalled the public transport systems when you were running late. Part of you wanted to feel thankful, for all those miracles he’d performed over the years, the other wanted to ask how many times he’d seen you cry in your underwear. Slowly, you opened your mouth, ignoring the way both men were now staring each other down. “Hold on, just me? Or, like, do you have multiple people you’re planning to kidnap?”

Your question was ignored. Azan was the first to approach, letting go of your wrist and bracing himself to pounce, your agent’s finger falling to the trigger in preparation. But, before either could really attack, the building started to shake. The very walls vibrated around you, the floor beginning to quake and crack under your feet. The reality of your situation dawned on you in a moment. The furbies must’ve been released, the final wave, the last resort. As if by instinct, the agent sprinted around the extraterrestrial and took your hand, tugging you forward gently. His eyes looked panicked… or you guessed they did, you mean. He was still wearing sunglasses. You couldn’t see his eyes.

“Wait,” You told him, turning away from the government operative. Instead, you turned towards the alien, now stunned and looking around frantically. Guns were drawn, eyes were slit, somewhere in the distance, a soft ‘Sasuke!’ could be heard. You watched with bated breath as the two were brought face-to-face, their attention completely divorced from you.

You come across a neat looking box at a yard sale, the man selling it looks scarred and mutilated, but he only wants a dollar for it! That's a steal!

You get it home and look at it while sitting on your bed, cozied up in a nice hoodie and lounging around, you thoroughly examine the wild looking rubix cube.

When you twist the box around, you hear a rattling noise and decide "eh, must be broken. At least I only wasted a dollar" before crawling under the covers and falling asleep.

You're dreaming, and your vision fades in and out between darkness and the pale face of a man.

He gazes at you, sitting alone in a chain ridden room and a blood soaked floor.

"Why have you entered the Labyrinth? You are not meant to be here."

You have NO idea what he means. This place is a gorey mess. Blood everywhere, bodies strewn across the room and yet he stands in front of you, telling you to leave.

"This is a dream right?" You whisper to yourself.

He smiles.

"No, really. This is all too real, and it's not your time to visit hell. We're looking for others. If you will bring me people to suffer... I will try not to see the beauty in your own suffering."

You're certain it's a dream, until he reaches out and holds your chin in his hands.

"Your beauty might surpass that of suffering. But not by much." He chuckles.

"Bring me those you wish so long as you wish them suffering."

You wake in a cold sweat, the same room but not coated in thick blood and bodily remains. You stand up on the cold wooden floor, the boards creak loudly as you make your way outside to find the vacant home down the road as the portal to this... hell.

That had to be a dream right? You wouldn't have possibly woken up here if it was a dream. You don't sleepwalk... may be it was real. Maybe HE was real.

You think to yourself as you see the neighborhood stalker walk passed your house, peering in on this young girl showering through her window

"People to suffer... am I really going to do this? Am I really going to take a possible serial killer to an abandoned house?..."

You look in the mirror, where he held onto your face there is a stain of blood. It WAS REAL. It IS REAL.

You gain the courage to bring the man to the house.

He follows you upstairs and you see some nasty monstrous creatures jump past you to grab him.

There he is. The pale man.

You completely ignore the torturous chaos behind him as he closes his hands around yours.

"You've done a wonderful thing. Could you continue for me? I know how much you like stepping on toes... perhaps I can bestow upon you the power of life and death." He gently rubs his thumb across your cheek, gliding his hand behind your neck and pulling you into a kiss.

At first you're terrified, but you fall into the arms of this murderous monster. Despite the pins, which push back into his face and avoid harming you, his lips are so soft. His cool fingers running through your hair as he takes his time kissing you. He tastes like copper and cherries. An unpredictable flavor from such a scary man, but not uninvited.

As he pulls away from the kiss, he licks his lips and holds your hand to his heart or the lack thereof.

"I will be here for you. All you have to do is bring me a visitor each time. The cenobites will remove them and feed the suffering to the leviathin and we can continue these... meetings."

Reluctantly, you say

"Of course."

As though your body willed it before you could choose, you gave him a peck on the lips before leaving again.

"Until next time, my torturess."

"Oh my god," you thought to yourself, "I'm in love with a monster!"

He smiles at you as you start to walk away.

You won't be gone long.

Onslaught: hyperactive paranoia of being attacked

Slash: clingy

Hype: a literal stalker, plus taping knives to furbies. Sometimes attaching them to a roomba and turning it on

i’ve had the weirdest month and IN PARTICULAR a giant weird last two days.... with both very good and very bad. so!

i’m tired out in like a. wow all that happened?? in only 72 hours???? sort of way

i’m not even sure i can list it all again but. just to go over the last month or so, briefly:

got out of depression and every normal day feels like 3 days, so i have no idea what time/date it is ever. 

new meds

I AM SLEEPING LIKE A NORMAL PERSON thanks to new meds and???? it’s weird but great?????

coded for the first time in five years and made a full medical history for myself and my own records, visually (to be transcribed later)

spending money on household items just to Refresh things that needed refreshing and whatnot. A Lot of money b/c it’s hard to only let myself buy some things, and opening the floodgates makes it hard to close them, so also many impulse purchases. shoes, undershirts, household things that just make life easier, etc

my boss is letting me dress fancifully at work

i bought my first chewie pendant and also a magic wand which i love

got sick

my bird died (;n;) and i stayed up all weekend long with friends

my grandma finally sold her house and is moving up, so my dad is gone to help her with that

got my first official corset!

i had one of the BEST SHOPPING TRIPS OF MY LIFE (literally, top 2!)

i learned that a pair of friends that hadn’t talked in 3 years were Actively Sabotaged by a shitty third party who was jealous??? and we are all like.... what the fuck???? about it??????

i’ve been hanging out with friends a lot more

i got to go to a cellphone repair training at work

i bought a furby to deal with the pet feels

i bought a ton of shit for my furby

my furby starts malfunctioning

new meds.... again

i have the worst day at work in a year (to the day, actually; b/c fb showed me a pic from a day ago that was a similarly terrible situation!)

i’m so keyed up from that bad day at work i end up not going to sleep

the next day i hang out at the mall anD GET A STALKER.... i go home safe and hang out with friends afterwards but OMG scary shit

then i go home and oversleep and almost am late to my Hair Appointment to Dye My Hair -- and THAT runs two hours longer than expected

THEN i go w/ my friend to get my TATTOO that i LOVE

and now it’s now..... and i’m exhausted from everything, but coming up in the next few weeks:

my grandma’s moving up, so i’ll probably be helping out with that

i have to finish a few projects on deadlines and WANT to work on a billion more

my birthday is happening (quarter century, yo!) around which i’ve scheduled a smorgasborg of seeing friends and visiting people

international tabletop game day

going on a three day camping trip w my friends

plus months-ahead plans to go to cons w/ people and shit and like.... i’m SO BUSY in a Good way but also recently in a WEIRD way!!! aaahh!!!

and like. i’m excited for it all, it’s just.... so much..... and i’m gonna be so tired when the summer’s out....... orz
