i keep coming back to either a full ghoul kaneki au or a born half ghoul kaneki au. this specific au constantly comes back to me and never goes away. i can't get enough of it. a specific unfinished longfic and the oneshot siezed me, and there are criminally few longfics of it

I've got a ton of tokyo ghoul fics that are probably going to be permanent WIPs at this point, but they're relatively long and have a lot of scenes that I adore so...

Nothing's higher than a Teen rating and there's no sexual content, just the canon-typical level of violence and cannibalism.

Navigation:

The fics in the main folder are all canon-adjacent. Most of these are platonic Hidekane fics, with three exceptions: Fire n Gold and Human!Kaneki are Touka-centric, and Festival Committee is Hide & Nishiki.

The "Fantasy AU" folder is various non-canon aus.

The "Mint Legs" folder is various stories featuring a full ghoul Kaneki. (His kagune's based on a mint leg centipede. If you don't want to look it up its basically just a centipede with bright blue-green legs and either a black or red body.)

And "Two Steps Forward" is one particular FullGhoul!Kaneki story of him and Hide navigating their friendship post-reveal. As you can probably guess from the name, it's a "two steps forward one step back" kind of deal and it's one of my favorites because it's 99% just exploring ghoul worldbuilding.
