By using all my brain power to contemplate Tokyo Ghoul, I came to the idea that Black Haired Kaneki (Girl) would have really long and beautiful hair. This would be because Kaneki’s mother said that Kaneki’s hair was beautiful, which in manga always seems to have an underlying implication to it.

Following that logic, White Haired Kaneki (Girl) would have short hair that looks hacked off.

on the one hand, kn8 vol 1 was a very fun read and i do want to get the next volumes because color me intrigued, but on the other hand what missed for me was that it was funny at times it shouldn't have been imo like when they're looking at the destroyed city and literally all they can think about is the video games and the cat like kids??? your entire city??? and then like next chapters it turns out their family didn't die or anything so like good for them and all but that surely diminishes the impact and the lifelong motivation for me - and her "liar" line when she recalled his promise to be by her side has less impact too like why is she so bitter. and like i still want to know what happened, right, but less so than if it had been a stronger scene (or my definition of one at least)

Her foot tapped against the bathroom floor, as she sat impatiently on the toilet. Time seemed to move slowly as she waited for the test results. Her stomach turning with uncertainty as she bit her lower lip nervously.

She never took into account what could possibly happen after, they consummated their feelings for each other. After they escaped the ambush. She didn’t expect to end up with symptoms so fast.

Her heart stopped and the pregnancy test fell onto the ground. She stared off into space for what felt like hours but was only mere seconds. Before shaking her head, and looking down at the pregnancy test on the floor.

Tears brimmed her eyes as she hugged her knees to her chest. Her suspicions confirmed. She was pregnant with Kaneki’s child. She was scared and didn’t know if the child would be born healthy. If her body would mistake it for food. Kaneki was half-ghoul, he was once a human then turned into a ghoul.

She always wanted to be a mother that dream, coming from her passion of wanting to be a teacher. She loved kids their curious minds and how adorable they were, and how smart they could be. She wanted, to help shape the future. To teach the future kids of Japan.

She sniffled as she reached towards the pregnancy test, “How am I going to tell him?” she whispered, looking at the positive pregnancy test. Biting her lip nervously; placing her hand on her stomach she leaned back against the wall.

Hinami was only thirteen when their parents died and [Y/n] sixteen. They still needed their mother and father but the CCG made sure that never happened.

She banged her fist against the wall, as tears welled up in her eyes again. “Mom…Dad.. I wish you were still here.” she cried, hugging her knees as she cried on the bathroom floor.

There was a knock at the door, She quickly, shoved the pregnancy tests into her shirt. She wiped away her tears with her sleeve, as Kaneki entered the bathroom closing the door behind him.

“You okay?” He asked, sitting down on the bathroom floor next to her. She sniffled a little bit, “Yeah, just missing my parents that’s all.” She said, as her stomach turned she was lying to her own boyfriend. Father of their child.

She breathed in and opened her mouth, “I’m pregnant.” She hugged her knees to her chest, waiting for a response from Kaneki. The air was thick and the silence was deafening, “I dont know if it will be born healthy.” She said, looking down at the ground.

“When…When will it be born?” He asked, and she turned to look at him. “The child?” He added, she could’ve sworn she saw a few tears running down his cheek. “In December” She says, looking away from him for a moment.

“I’m happy.” He said, looking at the ground. “Really?” She asked, lifting up her head as her heart swelled with joy. “Yes really.” He said, and she leaned her head against his shoulder. He placed his head over hers and she smiled in response.

It was then the couple left a permanent mark on each other, one that wouldn’t fade away even long after they’re gone. A bite mark. Proof that they’re one. He loved her and he wanted to protect her no matter what. She loved him and wanted the same, giving him her mother’s engagement as a sign of her love for him.

Their love knew no bounds. She hoped they had a bright future ahead, and wanted this child in her womb to live. She was going to do everything in her power to make sure that happens. She leaned her forehead against Kaneki’s and smiled warmly, intertwining her fingers with his.

ken's lowkey like a crazy ex that you can't get rid of. trust, there's been times where you wanted to be done, where you were tired of the toxicity, tired of the arguments & the constant disagreements. you just blocked him completely & stayed away from home for a week or so.

.. only to be met with him sleeping in your bed when you finally arrived back home. he had even brought a duffle bag of clothes!! i mean.. the audacity this fucking man has.

he said he wasn't gonna leave until you guys talked & resolved all your issues. it was easy for him to sweet talk you. though, if he felt himself failing, he'd talk to your parents & say you were acting out.

this would lead to your mother calling you, "are you okay? has kaneki done something to make you upset? why're you shutting him out?"

he's doing anything to make sure your mom thinks of him as nothing but a complete sweetheart, because at the end of the day.. all he really wants to do is love you.

best believe the make up sex is amazing too, boy will have you running from the dick, practically sobbing over it. sometimes it's mean.

you'll be ready for a break, ready to just lie down & sleep.. you think he's done more than enough. yet he fully believes otherwise.

"alright baby, just lay down.. you don't have to do anything" & then he's pulling your legs apart & settling his head between them with his arms hooking your thighs to make sure you're not gonna run.

trust in the after care being the sweetest ever, though. he's telling you how good you did & how proud of you he is. then he gets you all cleaned up & pulls the covers over you bc he knows you're gonna be knocked in just a couple more minutes or even seconds.

you're with him for life! whether you like it or not.

My review of the Tokyo Ghoul live action movie!

First off, I won't be reviewing based off the CGI, props, etc. I don't know enough about practical effects or that area to make any proper judgement regarding it.

Secondly, this is my opinion. In no way am I trying to make fun of the actors, CGI, storymakers, etc. I just have autism and will be commenting about what I did and did not like about the live action.

Here is what I LOVED:

The casting was perfect in my opinion. I was pretty much like "yeah wow that's the character if they were real" for every single character

The acting was pretty good! I wasn't expecting it to be as satisfying as it ended up being.

THE FIGHT BETWEEN AMON AND KANEKI AT THE END WAS SO GOOD 🙏 THEY ATE, DEVOURED, AND LEFT NO CRUMBS

Touka and Mado's fight was so well done! It was the perfect balance of emotion and action! I love that they didn't back down from Mado being batshit crazy and that they didn't make him hesitant to kill anyone! It felt like they stayed really true to the characters in that aspect!

THE RELIGIOUS IMAGERY??? OMFG I LOVED IT SOSO MUCH!! When Kaneki pierces Amon and leaves him looking like he's been crucified??? Wow. Amazing, stunning, never been done before. Mado calling Touka a sinner??? Amazing, stunning, never been done before.

Renji, Touka, Kaneki, and Hinami walking through the creek made me tear up omfg they are FAMILY.

What I Liked/Appreciated for What It Was:

The storyline was decent. I know they have to set it up and stuff but I REALLY wish we could have seen the final arcs, Jason, Shuu, etc. I am also biased because those are my favourites to analyze BUT I also understand that it's a movie that is trying to fit a large amount of content into a small amount of time.

I felt like Kaneki's character growth/development was rushed BUT towards the end where he's laughing over Amon's body and then sees himself in the puddle, WOW what a scene. Even still Kaneki's development was rushed but it felt like they were wanting a second movie.

The ending was. Okay enough. I wish Hide and Kaneki had seen each other again but like. I'm insane about their relationship anyways. AND THE WAY KANEKI LOOKS AT THE CHAIR. It was very good I appreciated the throwback and it came full circle.

What I Did Not Like At All:

Okay this isn't even the movie's fault but it being rated NC-17 makes no sense to me. I felt like it barely showed anything and it should've just been rated R. It is definitely an atypical horror movie but it is still horror.

Nishiki felt extremely cast aside. If they hadn't included that scene at all, nothing would have changed. They didn't make him as compelling as he was in the manga (again, it's a live action so I can't expect much) but he was very much a forgettable aspect of the movie despite him looking so babygirl.

I miss the talk that Hinami and her mom had before she died. It felt so short and wasn't well done in my opinion.

It felt bound to the anime (which we all know is better if you have read the manga and can actually understand wtf is going on) which is not an inherently bad thing but there should definitely have been more explanation for the character motives.

Kaneki headcanons please?

i have a feeling he likes historical fiction novels. he also has an interest in ancient history and mythology (Not Projection, this is a certified kaneki fact)

haise is so good at cooking because little kaneki had to cook for himself after his mom died and his aunt basically abandoned him

working off of that, anteiku is not the first part time job he had. when his aunt stopped leaving money for him to provide for himself, he had to start making his own money. at first, he was to young to work “real” jobs so he did odd jobs for people around the neighborhood, like landscaping, dog walking, house sitting, and even baby sitting. before working at anteiku he was a writing tutor at kamii.

he was interested in being a teacher because he liked spending time with kids. he told touka this randomly during one of their first shifts at anteiku because he was trying to make conversation and didn’t know what to say. when touka heard mutsuki call haise “sensei” in re, she really hoped he had found a way to achieve his dream (that one made me sad)

"What's that supposed to mean?" Akira's not sure what he did to have Yusuke out of the blue say that to him. Maybe because he rammed the Morganna bus into the walls? But they were breakable. Well, the first few anyways. Yusuke was the one to always beg for more treasure to sell because they could make more 'money'.

"If you are complaining about my driving skills, I will have Haru in the seat instead and we both know how that is going to turn out". Akira doesn't know who is worse at operating a vehicle. His mom or Haru. And he really doesn't want to test that out either. He doesn't know if he or Yusuke would survive that ordeal to find the answer to that morbid question.

It like makes sense because this event is kind of centered around mafuyu but isn't because all the limiteds are of the others and the theory would make sense because that's how mafuyu sees them and the event is about everyone else trying to help mafuyu

I think we can all collectively agree that mafuyu's mom is awful even if you don't like mafuyu that much ok

Like mafuyu's mom is worse than my ex and my ex was a ken kaneki kinnie in year 6 and called people baka in the middle of the school corridors like it was a cool new swear word
