Frigg x Fulla:

Frigg might have been Odin's wife, who mind you has cheated on her multiple times. But Frigg had her many maid servants, one she was very close with being Fulla! Yes, some say they are sisters..but its not confirmed and just speculation!

Fulla is described as a virgin goddess and as the one tending to the ashen box and the footwear owned by Frigg, and, in addition, Frigg confides in Fulla her deepest secrets.

In the prose introduction to the Poetic Edda poem Grímnismál, Frigg makes a bet with Odin, over the hospitality of their human patrons. Frigg sends Fulla to warn the king Geirröd, Frigg's patron that a magician (actually Odin in disguise) will visit him.

Fulla meets with Geirröd, gives the warning, and advises to him a means of detecting the magician and later Geirröd tortures Odin. It seems to me here, that Frigg and Fulla are working together to get rid of odin LMAO.

In chapter 49 of Gylfaginning, High details that, after the death of the couple Baldr and Nanna, the god Hermóðr wagers for their return in the underworld location of Hel. Hel, ruler of the location of the same name, tells Hermóðr a way to resurrect Baldr, but will not allow Baldr and Nanna to leave until the deed is accomplished.

Hel does, however, allow Baldr and Nanna to send gifts to the living; Baldr sends Odin the ring Draupnir, and Nanna sends Frigg a robe of linen, and "other gifts." Of these "other gifts" sent, the only specific item that High mentions is a finger-ring for Fulla. Meaning, despite being a servant she is reconized as famliy!

Angrboda x Loki x Sigyn:

While its stated Angrboda was Loki's first wife and Sigyn his second, i still think its possible they could have had something more. Mind you Loki is what we know today as genderfluid, meaning his ladies must like his fem side wink wink + the fact being polyamorous and married to multiple people in old norse socity was normal, i think this is a great example of that!!

Nótt x Naglfari x Annar x Dellingr:

I personally think this counts under polyamorous too!!

Nótt is personification of the night. The Edda features information about Nótt's ancestry, including her three marriages. Her first marriage was with Naglfari, and the two produced a son by the name of Auðr. Nótt's second marriage was to Annar, resulting in their daughter Jörð, the personified earth. Finally, Nótt marries the god Dellingr, and the couple have Dagr, who takes after his "father's people" in brightness and fairness. 

Njord x Skadi:

All i want to say about these two is that their relationship heavliy implies they either switched gender roles or are trans coded!

First of all due to Skadi taking on a masc role in taking revange for her fathers death. Not only that but skadi may potentially be a masculine form and, as a result, some scholars have theorized that Skadi may have originally been a male deity.

Plus the fact when Skadi was going to choose a husband by their feet, she went with the most fairest and beautiful ones. Which ended up being Njord!

This something in many cultures are connected to woman's beauty!

Freyr x Gerdr

While in the myths there is nothing to suggest that they're queer. Freyr was worshipped by gay men and Gerdr's name is both a feminine and masculine name!

The norse goddess Frigg with her confidant the goddess Fulla, she is Frigg's handmaiden, Fulla wears a golden ribbon about her head; she carries Frigg's chest, takes care of her shoes and knows her all of her secrets.

Fulla, whose name means "abundance", is said by Snorri to be a virgin whose flowing hair is held in place by a golden band. She is invoked in the Merseberg charm as Volla, the sister of Frigga. She takes care of Frigga's casket of jewels and pairs of shoes. This might seem like a mundane task, except it is likely that the jewelry and shoes of the powerful All-Mother are likely to be magical in various ways, and thus it would be appropriate to have a guardian for them. Some Heathen women see Fulla as the keeper of women's mysteries, as the casket of treasure symbolizes to them the hidden female self that men do not see.

Linda Demissy says of Fulla:

Fulla is Goddess of managing people and supplies to create abundance, motivating them to work together for a greater cause. She is Queen Frigga’s counselor and confidante, keeper of her secrets, shoes, and small treasure box. According to some they are sisters, but others believe they are lovers. Don’t try to bullshit her with excuses for your failings, her tongue is sharp and she is unwavering in her standards. But if you are honestly going through an inventory of yourself, she will support you in seeing clearly what you must work on, in setting goals and achieving them. She has much more sympathy for women, and blesses the bonds of friendship between them. Do not pray to her if you have brought great harm to women — at best, she will coldly ignore you. Instead, work with Lofn to heal your heart first so your darkness does not control you.

A gold hair ribbon or circlet is her symbol, but you can simply touch your own shoes when praying to her. Fulla can be honored by taking good care of footwear (yours and that of others), by never revealing secrets given in confidence, and by being helpful to women. She uses smooth stones in massaging away tensions, and likes pickled foods, especially sauerkraut. Her name is pronounced “FOOL-lah”

Saga: My Life Adventure

Back with another ship to add into the series, that I believe some of you have actually heard about! Oh Frigg and Fulla, my tragic little lesbians.. You deserved better. Maybe in another life time 😔

How did they met?

Fulla was one of Frigg's handmaidens, like many other Ásynjur goddesses, but she held a special role in personally attending to Frigg’s needs. Fulla kept Frigg entertained with engaging conversations, assisted her in managing daily tasks, and took care of her footwear. Their relationship grew more intimate when Frigg, feeling neglected by Odin and hurt by his infidelities, sought solace in Fulla.

This comfort soon blossomed into a romantic relationship. Frigg finding reassurance in knowing that Fulla genuinely cared for her when her husband did not. Meanwhile, the devoted and loyal Fulla, deeply enamored with Frigg, considered herself fortunate to serve and love her lady without hesitation or complaint.

Their dynamic!

They might have a big difference in power dynamic but Frigg never takes advantage of her status, especially not against Fulla. If anything she makes sure Fulla, despite being a servant gets the same treatment as her!

While both Frigg and Fulla love to chat and gossip. Fulla finds herself to be the one listening most of the time.

Fulla from the very start was always so smittend by Frigg's beauty and grace.

Every night Fulla found herself treassuring everything they shared together, excited to see her again.

Sadly when their relationship became romantic, they had to keep it a secret from most of the aesir.

That way Odin wouldn't find out about it and unleash his wrath upon the two.

The two ladies would only be open about their relationship with certain people like: Gná, Hlín, Lofn, Sjofn, Baldr, Nanna, Hodr and Hermod.

The wodden box Fulla holds is very symbolic, containing not only the truth about their relationship but all of Frigg's most precious secrets.

Fulla takes her role as not only Frigg's handmaiden but as the protector of Frigg's secrets very seriously. She would rather die where she stands then tell.

Fulla wears a golden band around her free hair, it being a gift from Frigg. (Gylfaginning Chap.35 reference)

To others it symbolic of Fulla being a virgin, a lady in waiting but little do they know the real meaning behind it.

It's a way to keep Fulla out of harms way and from prying eyes of men. That way, Frigg can protect that she holds dearest! It being almost a similar case to Baldr.

The very few times when Frigg could travel, she brought Fulla with her. Unable to stay away from her even when she had free time to do as she pleased.

On more than one occasion they had to say they were "found sisters" because of how close and affectate they were.

The two women also practiced seidr together, it turning into a intimate ritual between them whenever they were alone. (Second merseburg incantation)

Baldr might have been the favorite son of Odin, but it Fulla who had delivered and together with Frigg, had raised her sons when they were young children!

Because Odin was an absent father in the early days, always traveling. Frigg found herself struggling through motherhood alone without him!

But since Fulla lived in their hall, she was able to aid her lady in need, making their bond even more closer.

The woman was a passionate and caring step-mother, somehow made to manage three wild playful children.

She would also pay special attention to little Hodr, helping him navigate through the world and teaching him how to read runes with his fingers.

Fulla wouldn't dare call herself the mother to any of Frigg's children, in fear to disrespect Odin. But Hermod, Hodr and Baldr view things a little differently.

They absolutely adore Fulla, secretly seeing her as a second mother.

Even accepting her as a part of their family, not just because she helped take care for them but because she deserved their mother's love and affection.

When Baldr started having nightmares, both the ladies were worried sick, knowing through the prophecies Frigg had spoken about it could be time.

Fulla was the one to offer to comfort their family, while Frigg was out.

Once Frigg had lost not only one son, but two. Fulla felt protective over her lady more than ever, refusing to let anyone near them! Not even Odin.

They'd spent days just laying in Fulla's bed, trying to grieve in each other's arms. Frigg didn't even care what Odin thought, all she needed was Fulla.

But even in death Nanna and Baldr would not be forgotten as they gave gifts back to their family, even Fulla. (Gylfaginning chap. 49 reference)

The pet names Frigg gave Fulla are:

"Hirðmey" (court maiden) "Gullband" (golden band) "Fríðr" (beautiful)

While Fulla's pet names for Frigg is:

"Hjartkona" (heart-woman/wife) "Ástvinur" (beloved friend) "Min drottning" (my queen)

Random trivia on the ship!

Their ship name is Frulla!

Frigg is a dominant switch, while Fulla is a power bottom. They're both gentle and soft lovers.. Very wholesome!

I always imagined Frigg being bisexual, because I truly do believe she loved Odin until he cheated. Fulla is obviously painted to be a lesbian in my opinion.

They give off ''forbidden lovers'' vibes!

Also the fact, even in death Baldr and Nanna not only sent gifts to Odin and Frigg but also Fulla as well, you can't tell me they didn't support their relationship!! Baldr is his mother's number 1 supporter!!

Which let me to a headcannon that the two ladies raised him because Odin was out traveling a lot, basically an absent father oops!
