A couple of weeks ago I was on the island Runde and my dream of photographing puffins came true!

It was incredibly hard to capture the puffins in flight because despite their weird shape they are very fast. They can fly as fast as 88 kmh. Of course they don’t approach the cliffs where they breed with full speed but they’re still pretty fast until they’re very close to their landing spot which meant capturing them in the frame, following them and getting them into focus within like 5 seconds from first seeing them til they land.

A scene for you all:

Me, explaining to my professor in my limited Norwegian that I am friends with the person who said hi to me in the Finnish conversation group happening a table over from our Norwegian group because we discovered a while back that we both carry around little emotional support bird friends.

Him: Er hun vennen din?

Me: Oh, ja, um vi møttet fordi vi bådde har fugler med oss? [Points at hers, holds up mine]

Him, laughing: Ja, der er ikke mange folk med fugler.

Me: Det er hvorfor vi begynte å snakke.

Him: Har fuglen din en navn?

Me: ..........Ja um. Han heter, um. Flapjack.

Sometimes I think that while it is pretty funny, people exaggerate how strange our food is.

Then I remember that there is a dish called «benløse fugler» (boneless birds) which. Has no poultry or birds, and is actually a big meatball filled with onions and bacon.

And then I think; nevermind, it tracks.

Edit because I forgot the most important thing! This fucker bit me in my sleep and I woke up with an imprint of his TEETH ON MY CHEST? Snuggler edition my ass 🤣

I took this picture of my guy Toothus and it's honestly really good. Idk why i love it so much but it might be because i just love him a lot and thus he will always be photogenic to me. It really brings out the red in his eyes and honestly that was exactly my goal. Also shadow luffy really adds the right something to this picture.

Also here is him with my dog who was very nervous to touch him at all. He had to give him a little sniff and look at me for the go ahead then almost fell asleep like this.
