Posting about Shirabe Meshi bonus pages from the currently released volumes since there's no new chapter this month (it'll be back next month along with volume 4's release)
I'll do separate posts for each volume, this post being for volume 1's
So first off, there's the one on the cover under the sleeve
It starts near the end of G, when Nastassja used the moon's systems to fix its orbit
Tumblr media
And then she died...or did she? (Of course not, this is the official Everyone Lived AU)
[Heartbeat confirmed]
[Fully committing wheelchair's remaining output to life support. Commencing preservation mode.]
Later, during the space shuttle rescue:
Tumblr media
Afterward, she tells them that she was saved because there was "clean air" (referencing a line of Maria's in XV that gets memed a lot by the Japanese fandom)
The pages after each chapter:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chapter 1's has Millaarc changing to her Tiny Bat form in order to fill herself with less food and she gets smacked by the owner of Flower who thinks she's a large bug
Chapter 2, Kirika is really hungry but Shirabe doesn't have time to caramelize onions like she did for the curry this chapter, so she puts chopped onions on a paper towel lined plate and wraps it, microwaves them for 3 minutes, then puts them in the pan for 10 ("if you're having too much trouble, pre-made packets of curry are fine")
Chapter 3 has Hibiki and Miku in the bath. Hibiki is happily talking about cold baths in the summer heat and poor Miku is freezing. It's labeled as "the night she took things too far" (in chapter 3, Hibiki blamed herself for Miku getting sick saying she "took things too far the other night")
Chapter 4 has art of Chris labeled "Hot blooded teacher version for when grades are poor"
Chapter 5...okay my previous post for chapter 5 didn't go into detail because that was when my wisdom teeth hurt so bad I had to get them removed so just know Tsubasa got Shirabe's help to cook yakisoba on Fudou's television program.
It says that after that, the show got renewed as a series where Fudou acts as assistant to a young girl, but instead of actually helping cook, he just causes problem after problem. It became a big hit in living rooms everywhere. Little by little, he eventually gets better at doing things like cracking eggs and the viewers have started to warm up to him
(note that his original show comes back in a later chapter and then gets bought and canceled by Adam who then starts his own show)
Chapter 6 is a picture of Serena in her school uniform (with the Nephilim) that says "looking forward to school"
The bonus manga at the end:
Tumblr media
Shirabe is staring at Kirika, as she does, and her "passionate gaze" is "making (Kirika's) heart throb" 😂
But then...
Tumblr media
"Kiri-chan's head...reminds me of something..."
"But the way Shirabe's staring at me reminds me of something..."
Tumblr media
"A SHOEBILL"

Anime Update V2 63
Vinland Saga S2 - Everything that happened to Thorfinn back in the first season finally gets addressed and brought up to Einar, who is understanding but direct with his friend and gives him some words of advice. Thorfinn's newfound humility and steady growth as a person is really reflected here. But then when Einar and Thorfinn find their wheat field has been completely razed, rendering all that hard, long work they put in meaningless, Einar flies into a fury and is quick to assume the farmhands who look down upon them were the culprits. When happening to run into the farmhands that night, Einar's rage forces Thorfinn's hand and he finds himself right back in the realm of violence and bloodshed he'd wanted to leave behind. At the end, his nightmare seems to be coming true: he's falling into Hell once more.
Hunter x Hunter - Gon fights Knuckles while Killua fights Shoot. At this point this plotline has wore out its welcome for me and I just want to move on already. Which we thankfully might be able to do soon since back at the hive, the King is about to hatch prematurely!
Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works - Got some Caster focus at this time as she recalls how she'd initially been summoned for the Holy Grail War by a different mage who ran his own lab that extracted mana and thought he could treat her like garbage even though her magic control exceeded his own. She immolated him to death but got injured by a hit on her from Assassin that Kirei had arranged. She was saved by Kuzuki, who became her new Master. In the present day, Illya's manor is breached by Shinji and Gilgamesh, who uses his Noble Phantasm to kill Illya's homunculus maids. An enraged Illya calls upon Berserker to crush the intruders! It is ON!
Re:ZERO - Very scary and distressing shit in this season's eleventh episode! Beako reveals for just how long she'd been awaiting Subaru to arrive in this world and that she wants him to kill her so that she doesn't have to keep living a slave to her Tome with her spirit tethered to the library. Elsa attacks once again and we meet her co-conspirator, a child from the village named Meili who's a Mabeast controller and wants to kill Subaru and all her fellow villagers (which suggests she was behind the events of Arc 2). Beako gets killed by Elsa and dies in Subaru's arms, using Frederika's crystal to send him back to the Sanctuary, where he finds Emilia has gone mad from the trial's failure and is half possessed by Satella. Roswaal shows just how evil he really is by skewering Garfiel and Ram, and revealing himself to be in possession of the second Tome and that he has been aware of Subaru's Return By Death looping this entire time. And then the goddamn Great Rabbit attacks, kills Roswaal, and nearly kills Subaru again. Subaru dies from all his wounds in the arms of the envious witch, awaiting when it's his time to start over again. Damn.
Symphogear AXZ - I really didn't want to ever have this experience with this anime, but this one pushed it for me; I had to stop watching an episode and not finish it. And I was liking what I was getting up to that point - more cool moments from best girls Kirika and Shirabe, more HibiMiku tenderness, getting to meet the cold and cruel Fudou Kazanari in person, even a posthumous guest appearance by Dr. Ver, which at first I wasn't sure I was going to like but the man is so damn bombastic that he won me over in seconds. But the entire subplot of Maria and Elfnein delving deep into Maria's mind and memories culminated in something that's not just reminiscent of how badly GX botched the arc with Hibiki's father, but reminiscent of that fucking episode of Your Lie In April. Yeah, it pulled the exact same "whitewashing of child abuse" bullshit, insultingly having Maria realize that the physical abuse, experiments, and emotional torment Dr. Nastassja put her and other children through to shape them into child soldiers for a terrorist group wasn't really bad not only because "Mom" felt bad about doing it, but because raising her in a harsh environment made her stronger, ensured she was toughened up and fully ripened and not soft and are you fucking with me right now, Symphogear? Just like with Hibiki's dad, there was a conclusion the character should've been drawing here, one that would've much more interesting and appropriately nuanced and fair to Nastassja's character while still condemning her actions, yet the character is written like a dumbass who takes away the absolute wrong lesson and we're supposed to just be fine with that. Fuck off with that garbage, Symphogear! I expect better from you and am immensely disappointed, my enthusiasm for the rest of this season diminished.
Eureka Seven - Wait, it's fucking recap episode? With not just Renton recapping things but Stoner and Dominic??? Consider me immensely disappointed in you this week too, Eureka Seven!

Symphogear XV - Episode 4
Symphogear XV – Episode 4
At last, our grand mastermind has been revealed! After several seasons of blustering for a return to Imperial Japan and being a general dick to all of his relatives, Fudou Kazanari has revealed himself to be an even more heinous figure than anticipated, and an outright traitor to the Symphocause. This time, victory for our heroes might demand outright rebellion against the Japanese government, as…

TsubaMari: Crossed Wires and Crossed Hearts
Just an idea I had for a fic I will probably never write. If anyone is interested in writing this fic, full speed ahead! Credit optional, feel free to exercise creative liberty with anything written here. Drop me a PM on FFN or reblog this post with a link if you’d like me to check out your fic.
Characters: Maria Cadenzavna Eve, Tsubasa Kazanari, Kanade Amou, Finé | Ryouko Sakurai, Nastassja, and others.
Pairing: Tsubasa/Maria, optional Kanade/Tsubasa/Maria.
Trope: Fake dating on steriods, AKA fake marriage.
Summary: Tsubasa and Kanade inflitrate Finé’s organization to find out more about and potentially sabotage Finé’s next big plan. Finé wants Tsubasa’s money and other resources, so she orders Maria to seduce Tsubasa. Both Tsubasa and Maria accidentally catch feelings. Will they get their happy-ever-after or will they end up a modern Romeo and Juliet? Will Kanade accept a bribe and step away or will she have to fend off assassins?
Length: one-shot or multi-chaptered, any number of words.
Story notes after the cut.
Crossed Wires and Crossed Hearts: Tsubasa/Maria Fake Dating AU
“I understand that we need a convincing story to effectively infiltrate FIS, but this—” Tsubasa shakes her head in utter bafflement.
“C’mon, Tsubasa,” Kanade winks at her, “You know I’m quite the catch! Definitely worth running away from your ultra-conservative family so that we can elope in America where homosexuals can legally marry. Arson will make for a fun, unique honeymoon!”
Tsubasa rolls her eyes, muttering, “Be serious, Kanade.”
Ogawa says, apologetic but firm, “The best lies have a grain of truth in them. We know this is above and beyond what we usually ask of our operatives, but what FIS is researching and implementing warrants an extraordinary response. Moreover, the marriage would protect you from being asked to enter a political marriage of insurance, at least while they work to either suborn Kanade or remove her from your life.”
“This is going to be like a soap opera, except with more espionage and murder!”
***
Being the (figure) head of the organization means Maria usually has nothing to do with new recruits; in this case, however, one of the new recruits is high-profile enough to merit a meeting with high command.
Tsubasa Kazanari is a woman just two years her junior, valuable in her disillusionment with the establishment but also in the leverage she brings with her: Tsubasa Kazanari is not only the heir to the Kazanari clan of Japan, but she is also a favorite of their parent clan, the Azuma assassin syndicate which operates on a global scale. The resources this woman could bring to FIS have most members of high command ready to do anything it takes to secure her loyalty. Or, more accurately, her neutered compliance.
“It would have been nice to tie her to us through marriage. Well, we can still give it a try. It’s not likely to work, but do your best to seduce her. Considering that she was willing to elope, I doubt she will leave her lover of her own initiative; still, we could have the lover removed and have you sweep in to comfort her in her grief. Hm, we shall see.”
Never has Maria felt more like a pawn than now. And Tsubasa Kazanari, for all her supposed power, will also be little more than a pawn. After all, spoiled rich heiresses have zero defenses against psychological warfare.
***
FIS [or whatever organization] is working to hijack the moon and take over the world [or something else equally nefarious]. Tsubasa and Kanade go undercover to gauge the extent of [FIS’] abilities, sabotage what they can, and feed information to [S.O.N.G]. Their cover story is that Tsubasa, madly in love with Kanade, has issued an ultimatum to Fudou to let her American marriage stand in Japan or lose his perfect heir [note that the marriage and ultimatum actually happen, so as to convince any scrutinizers that the cover story is real even if TsubaKana relationship isn’t necessarily real]. While in America, the plan is to get themselves recruited by FIS and work as high up the chain as they can. On the [FIS] side, Nastassja and Finé want to secure the resources Tsubasa has; Finé decides to weaponize feelings, just for funsies. They order Maria to seduce Tsubasa while they bribe or eliminate Kanade. Maria doesn’t want to seduce anyone, much less a spoiled rich heiress [2nd Div’s activities are top-secret and Fudou has begun parading Tsubasa in front of the media], but she will because her mother asked it of her. Unfortunately for Maria, she finds herself actually liking Tsubasa. Ver is somewhere, maybe as a sleeper/double agent in [S.O.N.G./2nd Div] or working in [FIS]. Chris’ story line ties into Kirika and Shirabe’s story line in Japan. If including Hibiki and Miku, then the Symphogear must exist and HibiMiku are in the background but definitely working to tip the scales in SONG’s favor.
Thus, three main story lines:
1.       Maria seducing Tsubasa, accidentally falling in love, then trying to arrange an escape for Tsubasa and Kanade (whom she assumes Tsubasa genuinely loves given the way Tsubasa talks about her). Cliché or not, Maria doesn’t discover the truth of Tsubasa’s feelings until FIS HQ is literally falling apart around them and they’re seconds from becoming prisoners and it seems they’ll have to leave someone behind.
2.      Tsubasa evading commitment of her money, personnel, and influence as long as possible, accidentally falling in love with Maria, then trying to arrange an escape for Maria while also collecting as much information as possible. She can’t admit the truth yet, but she’s sure Maria understands that their love is mutual.
3.      Kanade playing coy with bribery, dodging impatient assassination attempts, sabotaging what she can without detection, perhaps getting a bit of revenge on Finé on Chris’ behalf, and investigating Maria to ascertain her suitability as a partner for Tsubasa by playing the jealous, territorial wife. Escape? We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it! OT3 is also a totally valid option.
Optional three side story lines:
1.       Shirabe and Kirika are in Japan, doing something. Double agents? Something with Ver?
2.      Chris is maybe also in Japan, maybe doing something. Possibly related to #1 or #3. Or she’s with Finé and secretly plotting against her.
3.      Hibiki is about to become the savior, and Miku proves invaluable as her emotional support.

SYMPHOGEAR X ACE COMBAT 7: ALICORN ARC
[[ And the first set is ready. Based on @brokenxuniverses‘ suggestion of making Adam replace the maniacal captain Matias Torres, the set goes like this:
Adam as the captain of the submarine carrier Alicorn, so Germain, Cagliostro and Prelatti now are part of the Alicorn support and defense squadron. Likewise, the antagonists of XV, now are characters following a similar motivation as the Alicorn crew. Noble Red now are members of the Mimic squadron, an elite unit of mercenaries with the sole mission of erradicating Trigger [ Hibiki ], who have built a legend around her. And Fudou Kazanari in the place of General Clemens; a person who a first sight seem related to the good guys but in reality is a traitor, the one who adquired the services of Mimic squadron so they could get rid of Trigger, and anyone else who might interfere in his plans ]]
[[ And there is one character, an actual good guy I cant find a good replacement; the osean weapons analist David North, any suggestions are welcome ]]

Second half of Shirabe Meshi chapter 21
The judges taste Team Diva's lettuce rolls
Tumblr media
Adam, please
He mulls over it for a bit, but then Shirabe steps in
Tumblr media
She says that he may think it's an imperfect dish that strayed from the original plan, but there was no such thing as a perfect dish from the start. If you take tens of thousands of people with completely different tastes, there will be no one dish that every single one will agree is good.
Sometimes she'll make something well, and sometimes she may mess up, and if she makes something better than she could before, it makes her happy
And that's only possible because people aren't perfect
Every single judge gives the dish a "good"
Tumblr media
Random Indian Guy even starts dancing he finds it so good
So that's a victory for Team Diva
Tumblr media
Then Kirika comes to a Very Important Realization: Does this mean they get gold?
Well, not necessarily
Ogawa suddenly appears next to Kirika and it turns out one of the mountains in the Eastern Alps had been hollowed out to create the gold. Nobody was seriously injured, but the gold will have to be used to cover costs for repairing the damage to nature in that area
Unfortunately Noble Red didn't get the rent money they needed but Random Indian Guy approaches them and told them that it was good and he enjoyed the Japanese flavors
Tumblr media
Millaarc: "That's right...Vanessa and Elsa's food is good!"
Elsa: "None of us are Japanese though"
Vanessa: "It's fine, it doesn't matter when it comes to making good food."
Afterward lettuce rolls become incredibly popular. The "Indian Lettuce Roll Dance" is an internet trend. Lettuce sells out everywhere. (Shirabe, what have you done?)
Ending this post with a panel of Shirabe happily watching Kirika eat from during her speech because it's cute

(Episode 8 !!
Good lord, this is a lot. Knew we’d get into a lot of shizz with it being titled “XV”. It really felt like the episode that would proceed episode 13 (like previous seasons when the episode is named after the season). There ended up being a pretty hype battle near the end, even playing “FINAL COMMANDER” again to top it all off.
But I’m getting ahead of myself.
First off, there’s Carol. It’s SOOOOOO nice to see her back and now we get to see her fight AND sing. And as expected, she has no issues with fighting them.
One thing that I loved about this fight was that Carol was basically posing like she was a conductor as they fought.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like the way her arms move is just...very pleasing. Lol. Plus she is still powerful. I really thought she wouldn’t come back remembering who she was because when she transferred Elfnein to her body, Carol was in an amnesiac state. She barely remembered anything so I assumed it would be the same. But nope, Carol sure knows who she is, what happened all the way back in GX and everything. (they explain later in the episode that she somehow managed to make a copy of her core personality, explaining why it was still her).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But in truth, I’m actually really happy that Carol and Elfnein can share the same body without consequences. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but maybe not them willingly sharing the same body or something.
One thing in this scene that was super sweet was Carol asking for Elfnein to make sure all the autoscorers get a proper burial. Elfnein described Carol as being someone who’s actually kind, and I think this managed to show how she can be. It was a really sweet moment, one that made me want to cry a little bit honestly.
Once Carol drives Nobel Red away, she contacts everyone at HQ to figure out a plan to help save Miku and destroy that representation of the Divine Power in the sky.
SideNote: Keywords from episode 7 have been translated in english now and helps describe what that giant/baby thing is, as well as Millaarc’s “stained glance” in detail.
Divine Power
The divine power hidden within the Vambrace of Shem-Ha overflowed due to its immense volume exceeding initial simulations. This resulted in a temporary purge of the energy outside of the Château, where it gathered. Plans were amended to allow the divine power time to materialize and fill the girl serving as its vessel.
The giant mass of energy "located" at the highest point of Château de Tiffauges does not move with any clear will of its own. Instead, it merely defends itself from approaching helicopters and Adaptors while attempting to invade its chosen "vessel" like a hermit crab searching for a shell. Its "reactions" seem limited to mere instincts and impulses.
Stained Glance
An attempt at recreating an ancient power once thought to be held by vampires, just as the name suggests, it allows the user to forcibly interfere with others minds via a cursed gaze.
It's difficult to use on someone of disciplined will and requires taking advantage of the target's weaknesses or emotions, and so can't be considered a very effective weapon.
Unless, of course, it can be mastered. In that case, it becomes a fearsome evil eye.
It can corrode the heart, impacting not only judgment but also self-esteem. This in turn can increase the target's dependence on others, causing them to exhibit a number of effects similar to suggestion or hypnosis, such as forcing them to carry out a command.
Swallowed by the rage from having witnessed such a tragedy, Tsubasa allowed herself to fall victim to her opponent's gaze, causing a seal to be carved deep into her heart.
Said seal is exploitable not only by the one who placed it, but also third parties. Using a trigger phrase, it is easy to seize control of her consciousness.
And now, the one using that trigger is the heretic Kazanari Fudou himself.
This seemed clear enough, at least the control aspect of it, but it’s still nice to know officially in more detail.
So basically, Carol teams up with everyone to destroy the Divine Power. Hibiki is still hurt so she can’t exactly help them do it.
It cuts to Noble Red getting replenishment of blood from Fudo and of course he’s still...Fudo. Lol. But as it says in the keywords about Miku (Miku literally gets her own keyword), Fudo is the one that ordered them to bring her back along with Elfnein.
It’s stated that the information about her being a potential vessel was found out during the breach, so he made a last minute choice to use her as the vessel instead.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He still believes the power will be his though, but have no idea how he’ll actually get it. But his second sentence is referring to Hibiki, as she is considered the god-slayer. I assume he said that in terms of...using Miku as a vessel, because Hibiki wouldn’t want to fight her of course so she can’t destroy the divine power.
But who knows, it could be about something else outside of that. Can’t say for certain.
So, all the Gear users choose to head out to try and activate the Chateau by singing their Zesshou’s to gather Phonic Gain. It originally didn’t work, and the Chateau just wasn’t reacting to their Phonic Gain. In the meantime, Carol ends up getting attacked by Noble Red again.
They try to win against her by summoning their Daedalus End/Labyrinth against her, trapping her there. However, it literally takes no time for Carol to break free from the trap, breaking the labyrinth and reducing it as useless.
She sang to get free, which as she has claimed back in GX, is literally:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
more powerful than seven billion climax songs. Lol. So thanks to that, Carol single-handedly produced enough Phonic Gain for Tsubasa and the others to gain enough to use their X-Drives.
And with that, they began their assault on the manifestation of the divine power, actually managing to get a good amount of damage onto it. But of course, just like before, it can heal itself on every dimension, so the damage doesn’t last long.
What’s a small little random tidbit I liked was that everyone’s pendants are big/wide now, like how Hibiki’s has been in each season when in her X-Drive form.
Tumblr media
There are better closeups than this one but it’s with all them together so yeah. ^^
Also, come to find out that Fudo tainted Noble Red’s blood supply. This seems to be the moment he chooses to betray and cast them aside. Frankly, I think Noble Red knew they couldn’t exactly trust Fudo, but he was actually giving them blood for who knows how long since “saving them”. I didn’t mention the earlier scene they were talking to him, but they were asking about him giving them time to get back to being human but he immediately ends the call in the middle of Vanessa’s plea.
Clearly no one is safe from being betrayed by him. His entire role in this is still up in the air though, and I’m not even sure how he’s going to use the “Stained Glance” on Tsubasa to his advantage. Guess we can only wait and see.
After this, this is where things start getting crazy. They begin playing FINAL COMMANDER again, and they all begin fighting. They couldn’t activate the Chateau, but use their X-Drives to fight instead.
Once again, the damage they manage to do is reduced due to the divine power regenerating, and so, they end up sending Hibiki back into the battle.
This is due to her being stubborn and not wanting to rest basically. Hibiki’s been dreaming about Miku ever since she’s been knocked out and the last one she had was showing Miku being pulled away from her, Hibiki reaching out in fear that Miku was leaving her. And so;
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love her haha.
Moving on, this next part is literally too much to write about. I feel like it’s a scene that needs to be seen and heard because good lord was it amazing. I don’t know how to describe how it made me feel.
With FINAL COMMANDER playing in the background, you literally have everyone trying their best to protect Hibiki; taking hits for her, doing attacks to protect her from incoming projectiles, help guiding her closer and closer to the divine power. It was just great teamwork and something that just shows how far they’ve all come (at least that’s the feeling I got). This is the sort of scene that takes place, once again, in episode 12, fitting of the episode normally titled after the season.
Pictures cannot capture that scene well enough and I’m tempted to just post it myself honestly so people can see what I mean, haha. BUT for now, this really poor recap will do.
I WILL say that I loved this shot of one piece of Hibiki’s headset being shot off.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Eventually, Hibiki gets close enough, but by this point, Elfnein reveals something (since she’s still in the Chateau with Miku):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is literally seconds before Hibiki busts through to come face to face with Miku (?) herself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And then they have...Miku going through a beautiful transformation. I didn’t talk about the other ones in depth but in terms of this one, I feel like I have to at least mention it because of the contrast and it actually being Shem-Ha.
Because what’s different here is that while she does have the vambrace on her wrist, there’s Shenshoujing as well.
Tumblr media
The mirror behind her the entire time, showing its light against her as she’s transforming, is actually Shenshoujing. And at the end of it, the Aufwachen Waveform for SSJ shows.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
One thing I didn’t mention, simply because I didn’t realize until this past Saturday, was back in episode 6 of XV, they actually showed Shenshoujing on screen. Vanessa was using it, I believe, as a means to keep the vambrace of Shem-Ha in check with its large quantity of power. She was also placing these “stones” around the vambrace as well. It very well could be that those stones were actual pieces of Shenshoujing but we can’t say yet.
All I know for sure is that she had SSJ pulled up on her ipad/tablet thing while she was setting everything up for once Elfnein and Miku got there.
But really, all this proves is that everyone was too late. Hibiki reaches out to Miku of course, calling out her name, only for her to respond with this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And it just ends like that. Lol. BUT WHAT THEY CHOOSE TO DO IN THE CREDITS INSTEAD OF JUST A BLACK SCREEN IS JUST...SPAM EVERYONE WITH HIBIKI/MIKU MOMENTS LOL.
Tumblr media
And from each season! I admit, I am a bum and got upset about this because...they’re just hammering it in. Everything was pretty much building to this moment. Ever since they hinted to Miku being a possible vessel at the end of AXZ, it was really only a matter of time that she’d be forced to have it as well and be used to fight against Hibiki, who’s the god-killer/slayer.
Of course...Hibiki wouldn’t want to use that ability against Miku, she’d want to save her. But what can they all do in order to free Miku from all this? There’s no telling. I feel like this is the moment where things really start getting more intense.
And that’s crazy to say since this whole season has been pretty crazy so far. But with this episode being titled “XV” and all this shizz happened already, I can’t even imagine what they have planned for the last 5.
I really don’t even know how to process this episode in words, since I didn’t know how to after watching the episode.
There’s just....yeah FFFFF.
One sad thing I will say is that they all fought SO HARD to help save Miku. Hibiki even pushed herself out of bed, saying “damn” to all her injuries, and goes out there. But in the end, they were just too late....and that makes me hurt a bit haha. As to why, like before, Hibiki’s expression when she sees Miku is just that more heartbreaking. I can’t imagine everyone else’s reaction too, which I’m sure we’ll see next episode.
Okay I think I’m done. I don’t think this one was as long, or in-depth, as the others because it was either information we already knew or just some good action scenes that are much better to be seen outside of pictures.
Next week cannot come any faster.)

Okay. OKAY. O-FUCKIN-KAY!!!
I call IMMENSE BULLSHIT. Genjuro is the MANLIEST OF ALL MEN IN EXISTENCE. Yes, Fudou’s his father, the man who should technically “know him best”, BUT HOW IN THE SEVEN HELLS CAN THIS OLD FART JUST READ GENJURO’S STRATS LIKE AN OPEN BOOK?
This fogey probably hasn’t watched a single action movie in his LIFE. AND HE CAN JUST PULL ACTUAL ANIME KATANA BULLSHITE AND THE FUCKING IZUNA DROP OUT OF HIS ASS. (look it up if you don’t know what the Izuna Drop is.)
And legitimately, think about it (cont. under cut):
Genjuro: has been shown to be able to punch so hard and so strong he creates shockwaves that can not only completely destroy the biggest size of giant swords that Tsubasa can make using Ame no Habakiri (without any contact with it), handle the power of SIX GEAR WIELDERS AT THEIR AXZ POWER LEVELS, more or less completely negate the explosions of BOMBS simply by GETTING INTO A PROPER FIGHTING STANCE WITH MAXIMUM EFFORT, and even PUNCH SO HARD THAT HE CAN CAUSE ACTUAL DAMAGE TO THE NEHUSHTAN ARMOR THROUGH SHOCKWAVES.
Fudou: he’s sat in front of the Kazanaris and S.O.N.G. crew menacingly, been an increasingly horrible dickwad to both them and Noble Red.... that’s about it for what we see of him before now.
Seriously. It makes no sense and I hate it. It’s a cool fight scene but considering what we’ve seen of Genjuro (ESPECIALLY if you consider XDU canon, which it kinda is in some parts), I have to call bullshit.
Sorry. Rant over now. Just had to... get that outta my system.
...also yeah the eggman announcement thing I mentioned earlier is totally gonna happen sometime later on, now that I’ve seen THIS.
