Hibiki is a great character because she refuses to stop seeing the humanity in everyone and that canonically makes her the single most powerful symphogear user. She realizes she has incredible power and her first thought is to continue to help and save people, even if she doesn’t know how, even at personal cost to herself. She announces herself to Chris in a 1 minute monologue giving her basically all of her personal info to try and get her to open up, and is genuinely super excited when she finds out the name of the person who has tried to kill and kidnap her. She never wants to fight and this always throws off her enemies she meets for the first time, and even her allies to the point that they often agree with each other more that they should be trying to kick each others butts rather than deal with the weird unarmed person trying to get everyone to talk.

And when they keep adamantly refusing to talk, she’ll hit harder than anyone else empowered by the power of friendship to get them to actually talk. And then still treat them with dignity and humanity because people have to look out for one another.

She’s also in the running for the character who’s gone through the most shit but is still a good person because she has a great support network in the form of all her friends, girlfriend, and good father figure (her actual dad is a complicated relationship).

And this is the person who kills gods.
