SO SO SO TRUE. I feel like this also needs to go for any x reader fics especially smut fics, I feel like this will get a lot of hate in this fandom but its so creepy and must be so hard for the actors to know there is smut fics of them with random people on the internet that gets read by like 13 year old girls. How much of a negative affect that would have on their mental health or their friends, family and significant other’s mental health. It could damage relationships just because some 13 or 14 year old wanted to sexualize a 40 year old man. There is a difference between saying they are attractive or finding them attractive and writing smut about them and a reader.

over the past few weeks i’ve seen a lot of people on the dash talking about mgg’s sex life to an extensive amount, so i’m giving a kind reminder that this is…not ok. simply. he is a human being and not spencer, im sure none of you would want your sex life picked apart by random people on the internet, especially that with an ex over 10 years ago. this goes for his ex too. even though a lot of the posts i have seen on my timeline come from her ig, i still feel like any woman would not want these discussions being had about her former sex life with her ex boyfriend from 10 years ago. this is not to be shady, or attack anyone or start drama. that’s truly the last thing i want and i love everyone on this app in this community. i just feel uncomfortable with this and feel it needs to be addressed, because it’s become so prevalent in stan culture. it’s not just this fandom, either. modern accessibility to celebs via social media or otherwise have kind of blurred the lines between artist and fan, and sometimes i even need a reminder that these are not people we know, and certain things need to be left alone.
