Hey! I just wanted to say that I love your blog so much!!!

I don't know if this is the type of ask you answer, but I wanted to say that I recently became part of a polycule. I myself am not polyamorous, but my boyfriend is and I support him.

What happened was that we were friends with benefits and my boyfriend was also in a romantic relationship (his girlfriend was okay with him being in the fwb situation, I'm not a monster lol) and slowly I started to realize I had feelings for him and then I think he was like "Fuck, I think I'm polyamorous ooh boy.." and now we're going out and I'm so happy to be his boyfriend!

His girlfriend is really sweet, and she and I get along pretty well so that's nice. I'm really excited to see how the dynamic is between my boyfriend, me, and his girlfriend. So far, it's going great!

I'mma be real chief, I don't have specific poetic interpretations on every flaw people see on themselves.

I'm not an inspiration blogger. I'm a poor fandom artist whose opinions on wrinkles blew up. (and am now receiving mass suggestion to wear sunscreen)

I have smile lines. This is my body. This is my temple. I can love it for its cracks, and missing tiles, and the shitty roof that leaks because I know its story. Its story gives the flaws its meaning, it gives them beauty.

To be frank, I only have a couple scars on my face.

I have gouge on my bottom right cheek that I got playing netball. Its a fantastic argument why you should cut your fucking nails for sports.

I have one on the bottom of my chin I have no memory of getting. It's this super cute little white line I need to bend my head all the way back to show people.

And I have one on my forehead, right in the middle, about a centimeter up from my eyebrows. Dunno if its an acne or chicken pox scar. But several people I went to school with have the same one. Isn't that cool. Isn't that fantastic. It always brought me a weird little joy to see my scar on other peoples forehead. Its a shared experience etched into our bodies.

Acne scars, stretch marks, wrinkles.They are your body's proof that you lived in this world.

My flaws are romantic because they are mine. Yours are romantic because they are yours. You need to tell people why they have meaning, why they have beauty. because you owe that to yourself.

Really quick update without photos because I didn't have time to write yesterday. Or today. I'll write more later!

Day... 5 I think

We went to the region of Hakone yesterday, at the foot of Mount Fuji; gorgeous place, I felt like I stepped right into a Ghibli movie, nature everywhere, pine-covered mountains, water-filled moss, tiny forest trails and everything. It was raining too ❤️

We took the rope train to the Mt Fuji viewpoint but sadly it was too cloudy and we didn't see the mountain.

Next we took a trip on a GODDAMN DUTCH SAILBOAT (it was actually cheating, it used only the motor) that was gifted by the Netherlands to Japan in the Meiji era.

We saw the floating torii at Hakone Jinja

did some easy hiking in the countryside, and even came across a small trail that suddenly got super dark - Aime: "There has to be yokai here." Me: "It's like Spirited Away! Sweet, I can have my own Ghibli adventure!" Aime: "If we see a yokai I'm throwing you at it."

Day 6

We left early in the morning for KYOTO!

It is said that Kyoto is the capital of temples and shrines, and boy people aren't lying. We found a street that was just temple after temple after temple. Basically they have complexes with a bunch of temples or shrines together.

We found a super cute little temple to Jizo (Buddha protecting mothers and children), tucked away between two buildings, where I got my Goshuincho stamped - we even saw the priest do the calligraphy himself!

I bought twin omamori as a gist in another cute little temple, where the priest took a moment to pray over the omamori before giving them out.

There was a shrine where two separate people left senbazuru (one thousand folded paper cranes). And I found my first shrine to Inari-sama!! (my favourite shinto deity.) We're going to visit the world-famous Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine in a few days.

We ate at a seafood restaurant in the middle of a covered gallery with TONS of food stalls, like EVERYWHERE, with mostly fish and seashells, like I cannot even begin to describe the ambiance of this place. Some of them were just fisherman shops with like one or two tables in case someone wanted to eat lunch. I bought a squid skewer 🐙

Then we tried to go to Jijo Castle, lost a lot of time registering for the disabled discount, and rushed the thing in ten minutes because we had to get to Kinkakuji before closing time.

Kinkakuji, the Golden Pavillon, is just as gorgeous as the photos suggest. The park itself is beautiful too.. and we had to rush through the whole thing again (even run) because the Goshuincho bureau closed at 4:30. We went back into the park after I got my stamp tho. (there was a really nice security guard who showed us the way.) And I bought yet another omamori 😁

Oh and I found my first kimono thrift shop!!!!! I didn't find anything that caught my eye, but DAMN they were cheap as fuck and so pretty. We'll visit more thrift shops in a few days.

Now we're on our way to a ryokan hotel with a luxury dinner and animation with a maiko (a geisha apprentice) and an onsen. It's gonna cost an arm and a leg but it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience ❤

🎏 Kids aboard

Kozuki Oden and his family joined the Roger Pirates for the last leg of an epic journey. The Oro Jackson has just set sail when the samurai properly introduces his family.

Roger sports his biggest smile as he hauls Oden's daughter up to be eye-level with her, unbothered that she tugs on his mustache. "I haven't spent time with a baby in ages ! Momonosuke and Hiyori, eh ?"

Rayleigh glances at him and softly smiles. "Reminds me of the old days", he says as Momonosuke giggles in his arms.

In the aftermath of the fight in God Valley, the Roger Pirates find a baby crying in a treasure chest.

Gaban opens wide eyes at the sight. "What the fuck, whose baby is that !? Do you think the World Nobles would try and save one of their own like this ?"

Rayleigh thinks aloud, "Hm, Linlin wouldn't abandon her own kids, and I don't know about Kaidou, Shiki or the others having any... Is that Rocks' kid ?"

Roger shrugs, "Who cares ? Either way, no child should take the blame for their parents' sins." Roger grabs the piece of paper next to the baby in the chest and unfolds it to read the few characters scribbled there. "Shanks, eh ?"

The baby stretches his arms towards him, giggling.

Roger cautiously grabs him, softly smiling as he rocks him in his arms. "Alright ! We'll raise him."

Rayleigh side-eyes Roger then, mildly concerned but heart growing another size at the idea of raising a kid with him.

As it turns out, Roger is surprisingly good with the baby.

Not that Rayleigh isn't, but he really finds that his partner is a natural.

Roger spends a lot of time with the baby, telling the whole crew how to best care for him when he's not around.

Rayleigh sets a cradle beside their bed so Shanks can sleep close to them, and doesn't even mourn his lost hours of sleep when the baby wakes them up for whatever reason.

Roger grows softer too, infinite fondness in his voice as he quietly sings Binks' Sake to lull Shanks back to sleep.

The baby often gets upset after a battle, and remains inconsolable until Rayleigh or Roger calm him down.

Roger rocks Shanks in his arms, telling him sweet words and gently shushing him.

Shanks sniffles against him, face red and tiny hands holding tight onto Roger's coat as he falls asleep, exhausted from crying.

More often than once, Rayleigh has to help Roger get rid of his coat so they can put the baby back to bed, wrapped inside the warm garment. More than anyone, he knows how comforting Roger's warmth and his scent are, and he grows fonder of Shanks as he sees a bit of himself in him.

Just a year later the Roger Pirates find an orphaned Buggy in the ruins of an island on the Grand Line.

Roger and Rayleigh don't hesitate one second and decide to raise him too, so Shanks will have a friend his age.

Rayleigh proudly teaches them how to read, how to write, and plays with them too, often joined by Roger and some of the crew.

The boys grow healthy and bright.

Roger and Rayleigh happily satisfy their endless curiosity, by day as the former brings them into adventures, and by night when the latter reads bedtime stories, all four of them tucked under a cover on the deck or in their bed.

Sometimes Roger has his arms full with both kids, and Rayleigh has to help him tuck them into bed.

Roger always leaves his coat with them then, stupidly happy that a memento of his presence is comforting to them.

The kids snuggle against each other and fall into a peaceful slumber.

Roger comes flush against Rayleigh's back then, setting his chin on top of his head, hands curling around his waist and gently squeezing.

Rayleigh leans into his touch, basking in the comfortable silence and the happiness radiating from Roger, warm and soft. He wraps his arms around Roger's and squeezes back, watching the kids – their kids – with a fond smile.

Still, Roger is so good with kids it's almost unfair. Always smiling and gentle, the boys earning even softer smiles than Rayleigh, who's not quite used to those yet. Roger loves them dearly, and it shows both in the way he treats them, and the way he glows with joy when they return his kindness.

The kids are ecstatic when Roger adds two feathers to his hat, a red one and a blue one.

"I'll keep you close to me, always."

Neither of them can keep quiet about it for weeks, declaring loud and proud that they're Captain's favorites.

Rayleigh didn't know he could love Roger even more, and yet... His heart grows at the mere sight of the children curled in Roger's lap at bedtime, and nearly melts when his lover pats the empty space by his side for him to join them for the night. Rayleigh snuggles against Roger, careful not to disturb Shanks and Buggy, gently pulls the covers up – not that they need much with Roger's natural body warmth – and cranes his neck up for a tender kiss.

Roger won't talk because the kids are fast asleep already, but his smile and the way his eyes shine in the dimly lit cabin as he breaks the kiss are worth a thousand words.

Rayleigh grins back, looks down as he softly pats the boys' hair, then rests his head on Roger's chest. He feels Roger's heartbeat at his fingertips, strong and regular, and his own one echoes stronger in return. No need for words, really, Rayleigh's sure Roger can feel both the smile widening against his skin and the drumming inside his lover's chest.

Rayleigh glances at the boys a little further on the deck.

Shanks and Buggy are sulking, obviously jealous of the samurai's kids.

Yet, Rayleigh's grin widens. He understands their attitude, but they should know better : Roger and him proudly raised them as their own sons, and no one could ever replace them in their hearts.

Hello, anon!!! Yussss, I'm married haha. Hell yeah I'll take a minute to brag about him 😁 Little fun story time post ahead!

Literally the funniest person I've ever met, and that's always been huge for me when I fell for somebody lol. If they could make me laugh? Whoo boy... I am smitten. ❤

We met while playing and drinking in VR Chat. It was during covid so all the bars were closed. I hopped on to check out the virtual bars and then I met him at one of those spin the wheel games at Drinking Night (VR Chat map).

I made a joke about it being like spin the bottle and I was down for kissing games. Then his little alien avatar walked in and was like "Kissing games?! Oh absolutely not."

I laughed, then was immediately embarrassed because I hate my laugh. But he proceeded to make me laugh even more throughout the night, and I tried to stay quiet because I thought I was coming off as annoying. (He later told me he loved my laugh and was trying to get it out of me.)

I decided to be a little bold and friend him. He didn't know how because it was his first time playing and his friend dragged him on. I think about how easily we could have missed each other. Not only did he barely agree to hop on VR Chat, but we had to be on at the same time and be in the same map.

As soon as I friended him and he figured out how to accept it, my game crashed. And I was so sad! I thought I wasn't ever going to talk to him again. For the hell of it, I hopped back on to find a new group. Then I saw he invited me back to the world he was on. I thanked him, and now that I was a little tipsier I started talking more.

He ditched his friend and just wanted to go wherever I went in VR Chat and we gave each other our socials. We were literally up all night and in completely different time zones, and we both had work in the morning 🤢. The next day, we helped each other stay up by messaging each other funny memes.

The following months, we'd message each other all day every day, then hop on VR Chat for little dates. It was so sweet haha, he'd find little worlds that looked like restaurants and we'd sit at a table and talk in our dumb as fuck avatars, it was such a blast.

I worked from home so he bought me tickets to come see him in person aaaaaaand I basically never left. Somewhere along the way we got hitched and now we game in the same room together lmfaooo.

Fun Fact: He sends Sebastian to Azkaban every time he finishes Hogwarts Legacy, can't imagine why 🤣

They never talked about the slow escalation of what could be written off as buddies with no boundaries - sitting too close on the couch and wrestling with too much touching - into a full-blown friends with benefits situation, neither of them willing (or able, in Nolan’s case) to stop the seemingly inevitable march from a frantic hand down the others’ sweats to sloppily making out during slow hand jobs, Nolan craving TK’s skin under his teeth, leaving bruises they passed off as hockey injuries, to blowjobs and finally, to Nolan discovering that nothing had ever come close to making him feel as good as TK does when he fucks him.

14. What is your favorite location and position to write in?

outside on my laptop. we have these fancy tall adirondack chairs that my stepdad made us and i love writing in mine on the deck. mine has a little thingy added to the footrest bc i'm short af so that my feet can touch the footrest bc normal people furniture doesn't work for my short ass legs.

18. Do you enjoy research? Which fic of yours required the most research?

no, i don't, absolutely not. i do not enjoy my hobbies giving me goddamn homework. i will do research for a totally inane detail that no one cares about (i'm looking at you, LA Zoo map) but will go to great lengths to avoid actual legit research for fic.

20. Do you prefer writing AUs or canon fics?

oooh i like both but overall probably canon fics. trying to fit what i want to write into the canon puzzle is really fun, and i think i'm better at that than transposing canon characters and plot points into a new universe.

25. What’s your favorite part of the writing process (worldbuilding, brainstorming/outlining, writing, editing, etc)?

BRAINSTORMING. god so fun. if the fics could just pop out of my brain once i form a coherent idea i'd be the most prolific writer in the world. coming up with 1-2 fic ideas in a day is totally normal for me i live for that shit. and then i want to read the thing i brainstormed about and occasionally actually sit down to write it. SIGH.

28. What area of writing do you want to improve in?

i write fic for fun, so i don't take myself too seriously or worry too much about what i'm bad at, but i struggle to write kissing? i will jump to something smuttier in a second because writing emotional, hot, exactly the vibe you want making out is fucking HARD. i need to work at it a bit i think.

48. Who is your favorite character to write for? Has this changed since you’ve started writing for that fandom?

i don't think i have one? wait maybe melissa mccall? if i have an opportunity to work her into a fic i do it. i love her so much.

51. Does what you like to write differ from what you like to read?

no not really. i love to read and write porn, and angst, and sometimes fluff. i like to read and write a variety of stuff. i do love to read longfics, and writing 30k was an act of suffering, so there's an area of discprencancy. i also like reading au's way more than i like writing them. (i'm not opposed if i have an au idea thats just not usually where my mind goes).

oh i don't know. i think i'm so flustered and flattered by every genuine compliment that i'm not capable of cataloguing them.

It would've been so easy for Percy to say "My daughter has a lot of opinions on it" and I was so sure he would phrase it like that I was actually surprised he didn't. Anthony was kissing Miss Siena. I knew, I knew, I knew this was going to happen but my heart still broke for Cherie. I hope for a happy ending but at this point Anthony seems pretty much irredeemable. It makes sense for him to go see Siena, he has shown self-destructive tendencies after all, I just can't imagine how he will move forward, what will he do to regain everyone's trust, how he will manage to make Cherie believe in love again. I just know that it'll be a long (and chaotic) process because when you mess up that badly, you don't receive forgiveness over night. And I cannot wait to see Anthony groveling.

Elias lunged at Anthony to punch him in the face, making Cecily and Hugh rush to him while Anthony pushed Elias back, still trying to get to you but Simon grabbed at Elias while Benedict pulled Anthony back. Not me gasping at Elias swearing in public 🤚😔 Istg this fic turned me into a regency lady. But that punch??? I loved that punch, do it again, Elias 😈😈
