i made fun of the toshihiro ono shining force manga and then started looking into it a bit more and translated a third of it in a daze while burned out from my other tasks, everybody point and laugh

#am i enjoying it? clearly enough to do this but it has very questionable decisions #like it engaged enough with the story premise so i don't understand why it couldn't engage with the characters as well #especially when there's 30 of them and every dynamic the writer is doing by making someone ooc is something they could do with someone else #you will understand when you see hans i am very pissed off at that one particularly #meanwhile ken survived. he's got a new haircut but he's still just ken and he's adorable #shining force #shining series #also i do always resent when people immediately give max a love interest #i've seen so many people pissed off or confused that there's no love interest in the actual game like piss oooooooooff #directly blame these people for whatever the fuck happend in sf2 #and shining force neo though thanks gods this manga isn't nearly as bad #at least it's short instead of dragging the world's most boring characters through ten billion line of dialog

She watched the fucking transaction because YOU RACKED UP THE STORE BEHIND YOU. Eat shit, go fuck yourself. Manager made jokes about me walking out which lightened the mood.
