4. do you use any labels alongside maverique? what are they?

gender-wise maverique is my main label. i also use trans, non-binary/enby and xenogender. labels that apply to me and are in my hoard that i only sometimes use are transmav(erine), ftx/ftmv, multigender/polygender/bigender, genderfluid/flux, genderfat, various xenogenders and some disableic genders.

5. i'd usually just say i'm neither male nor female. i know this could also mean agender or neutrois or other genders but cis people at least probably won't understand the difference. otherwise i might say that i'm neither male nor female but have a gender, or i'll say that if male is over here and female is over there, my gender is somewhere in space.

mine is weird because i feel like i've always been maverique, but i still feel like i had a girlhood simply because i LIVED as a girl and everyone treated me like one without me actually having been one. 75% of my life was still me being maverique but living as a girl, albeit a nonconforming one. and this is why i call myself FtX/FtMv, because i went from living as a girl to living as a maverique.

Hey trans people I just want to remind you that your experience is your own and there is no wrong way to describe it.

If you feel like you were "born in the wrong body", that's fine.

If you feel like you "used to be X gender but now you're Y gender", that's fine.

If you feel like you "were an X gender who chose to be a Y gender", that's fine.

If you feel like you've "always been Y gender", that's fine.

If you look at things with your deadname on or pre-transition photos and feel a sense of connection or recognition, that's fine.

If you feel like you "killed the X gender you used to be", that's fine.

If you feel like "the X gender you used to be is still here but they're Y gender now", that's fine

here's mine:

1. in general i define it as genders that don't fit into the binary of always, exclusively and fully being either male nor female, as well as genderlessness. in my personal case, it means having genders that are disconnected from the binary entirely.

3. maverique (mav), xenogender, multigender, polygender, bigender, spacegender, 80scoric, transmaverine, trans, abinary, ftx, ftmv, demigender, genderfluid, genderflux. there are some labels i use more loosely like outherine or aporagender

4. yellow

5. yes, because i wasn't assigned maverique+ at birth. also to spite truscums/exclus. i kinda have a complicated relationship with the trans label though and i'll always be maverique before i'm trans.

6. i love it! but it's also been kind of destroyed for me because it gets so much hate.

7. my gender is very much influenced by my neurotype, as well as by overall growing up fat and disabled.

8. ve/ver/vis make me most euphoric, but i also like fae/faer, ae/aer, ze/hir, xe/xem and ne/nem/nir. in german i like ser/ses, xier/xies or dey/deren. none of them make me truly euphoric though. german pronouns kinda suck lmao.

9. having equivalents of words like man, woman, boy, girl etc for my gender.

10. that it means being neutral or agender only.

11. with gay attraction it depends on the definition. if it's binary-centric, then no. if it's used as an umbrella term or in a mestric way, then yes. as for lesbian, veldian and straight: most likely not. i wouldn't mind people who identify that way being attracted to me though if they consider me an exception.

12. sometimes i do, sometimes i don't. it depends on what my options are. if mx is an option, i'll choose that. if they only have binary titles or none i choose none. if they only have binary titles i tell people to choose one for me. the one i like most is mv, but it's not like that actually exists legally, so i usually go with mx, which i like as well.

i love mvtmv so much and i also have so much love for people who identify as ftf or mtm or other variations of this. i used to vibe more with ftx and ftmv but people just keep being weird and acting as if i'm talking about my sex or medical transition when i was referring to going from living as female to living as maverique.

i love mvtmv and similar terms because they affirm our genders as valid no matter what our bodies looked like or look like. it feels like it really defies the expectation that our genders have to be based on our bodies in some way.

hey queers share the labels you identify with that are considered "outdated" or kinda looked down upon
