I got a jewish oc named Leon Millard, he's a ww2 medic. He lives on a farm with his family where they raise cows and chickens but mostly keep them as pets. His best friend is a cow named Lola, they also got a dog named Rufus and a cat named Milo. He was raised in a reform jewish family but he has a tallit that has been passed down from his grandpa, whenever he's sad or nervous he wraps himself in it for comfort.

hi a question for jumblr, if I did an aliyah to the torah in my bat mitzvah (through reform), and now I've found out I'm a trans man, do I have to do an aliyah again? I'm not religious so this aspect isn't very important to me, more so the culture and traditions.

the angle of orientation on a swastika (to tell if it is a Buddhist/Hindu swastika vs a nazi swastika) is so not important lol. I know that the Nazi swastika is a back to front, angle changed version but here is the news: white supremacists and nazis aren't super smart so CONTEXT of the swastika is a far far more important factor to determining if it is a Nazi or Religious symbol. I've seen targets of Nazi ideology (jews, roma, black ppl, gays, disabled ppl etc.) be upset that something has been vandalised with a swastika and tone deaf comments going "actually because of the angle it is a Buddhist swastika" read the fucking room guys... the angle is so so not important compared to the context which is a target of Nazi ideology has had something vandalised w a swastika. some of yall need 2 go back to school... some of yall need that lesson where it is explained to you that the curtains might be representing something and aren't just blue curtains... bcs ur reading of dogwhistles when they slap u in the fact is atrocious.
