i have a question for the people of america, why do actors in tv shows get on the bed with their shoes still on, or like why do they just walk around the house in shoes?
is it like that in real life too???? do y’all not take off your shoes in front of the front door/hallway?
its very common for Americans to not only keep their shoes on but to insist visitors keep their shoes on as well for "comfort". (you'll hear a lot of "Oh you don't have to take your shoes off!")
I just don't think about it tbh! most of the time I'll take them off at the front door but my parents house is a shoes on zone for some reason

Technically it's "between me and him" which still is technically correct. Just wanted to point that out lol. He was definitely being petty since Him and Me vs Me and Him are interchangeable in this case. Though I think this one is less grammar based and more courtesy based, since from what I know conventional courtesy has it so that the first person pronoun goes last
Unfortunately I can't get mad over ford's "grammar, Stanley" I too would do that to my brother if given the chance
