I'm answering this one because 1, you're a sweetheart, thank you for asking so politely, 2, my Chinese rwrb friends did some investigating.

"rwrb" the combination of these four letters, is indeed filtered. BUT, the full name "Red White & Royal Blue" isn't. Neither is "Henry", "Prince Henry", or "❤️🤍💙". It is literally just, the acronym.

These screenshots are from my friend, her user interface is in Chinese so I'll translate a bit: all of these comments are from the last two hours, all from the same account, this "user24613579811". But if you look at their profile:

On top of that, this account has been commenting under Nick's post for at least the past month

This comment, is from approximately a week ago, under the 18 May post. This is also prove that the phrase "Red White and Royal Blue" isn't filtered.

Also note that in the collection of comments, not only is "rwrb" typed as "rwr*b", but "homophobic" is typed as "homophob*c", so the word "homophobic" is probably filtered as well

So this is the hypothesis: the account has been massively harassing Nick for a while, and originally, they only used the phrase "rwrb" not the full name. Blocking this account isn't really productive because blank accounts like this are easy to set up, if you block this one, the person behind the account can just set up another one in like, five minutes. So they chose to filter "rwrb". This isn't against the project and the fandom, it's against these bully spam accounts.

Hello everyone! Thank you for the many tags. I got a migraine yesterday afternoon that only got worse as the day went on (and the brain is still a little soupy), so I missed the posting window. However, my brain also cooked up two new WIPs this week in addition to the two I was already working on, which is insane (I have never actively juggled this many pieces before). I'm excited to share and talk about these, so I am ignoring the date and still sharing.

Serious moment: this snippet is from my new wip featuring Seahorse Dad Henry (wherein trans masc Henry gets pregnant after a one night stand with Alex, fall out ensues). It's actually an incredibly important fic to me (somewhat fueled by spite), because on Twitter I saw a RWRB account make a wish list for men being able to get pregnant — as a dude who can get pregnant myself, it was pretty disheartening to see this trans erasure in a fandom which is supposed to celebrate queerness.

In general there's been a lot of recent mpreg talk without including trans guys in the discussion at all, so even though mpreg's not usually my thing, I've decided to add to the discourse by writing my representation into the narrative blah blah blah.

Enough talking. Here's the rough draft snippet:

Henry’s also honest enough with himself to admit that at least half of his good mood can be traced to the three free drinks bought for him by three different men, the bum squeeze he received a couple songs ago, the hard cock rubbing against his arse right now. On today's episode and maybe the final episode cause I need to disassociate... Nicky is once again being dragged through the mud for daring to have multiple successes in his career. We can't really know, but to me, it looked like just Taylor messing around. However, I think that acting like it's weird/wrong of him to do that is an overreaction. They have mentioned countless times that they were always doing things to make the other laugh or tease each other on set. They knew each other's boundaries. They wouldn't do anything that would make the other uncomfortable.

Nicholas starts smacking him because it probably tickled, and that's what you do when you're being tickled in some capacity. But he pushes him off and says "go back to America" like he was still in character, instead of something like "oh fuck off Taylor". He was clearly playing along.

I am going to think positively and assume you're not trying to, but this is teetering on the edge of implying that Taylor and Nicholas have an issue with each other, or don't get along.

That is simply untrue, and there are people actively trying to spread this misinformation to create a rift in the fandom. The same people have been trying to say that Nicholas and Taylor don't care about RWRB or don't like it due to their lack of promotion, when it is due to the strike that is still actively going on. They legally not allowed to promote it without breaking the union's strike rules.

Both have still done subtle things to indicate their love of the project, like Nicholas posting pictures of him with blond hair from back when they were filming "for no reason", and Taylor setting up his Instagram to be only following Alex's official account. Nick posted a single red heart on either Twitter or Threads on the day of the movie's release. Taylor said he wasn't going to be signing things at the London Vogue event he participated in, but saw fans with the book and made an exception.

Like I said, I'm going to assume that it's not your intention, so I'll just say, please be careful with what you say with things like this, because those people will jump on any opportunity to perpetuate these lies.

TN Candies Part 2

HI! I’m back with more candies to share :D

Part 1

Again, preface for precaution, but it’s the exact same stuff as last time, so if you know it and you’re okay with it, feel free to cut the chase and go straight to the main event under the cut.  

1, This post contains content regarding real-person shipping. If you’re uncomfortable with the subject, again, please don’t read under the post

2, I don’t have all the candies because I really just view them in passing, so I’m just gonna write/translate the ones I’ve seen, remember and find at least a logical speculation

3, I need to reiterate this in case my position in this gets misunderstood: Me writing about “candies” isn’t because these are MY opinion or things *I* found or *I* believe in them being evidence. I am just a translator and messenger.

4, Chinese people have a very difference understanding of platonic/romantic affection/relationships compared to the Western world, and that they look at the candies with rose-tinted glass. Chinese/Asian people are generally a lot less affectionate with their personal relationships, for example friends wouldn’t say “love you” to each other if they’re just friends, nor would they expand their friend group to the others easily or other stuff. And these people who look for candy go into their “investigation” already with the belief that “they are together”, everything remotely resembling a close relationship will automatically be interpreted as romantic. I thought about it a lot, and honestly among the “candies” I’ve seen, most of them are a matter of interpretation: yes those are things couples will do, but it wouldn’t be weird if friends did it too. So they’re not that seriously or up for further speculation. There is I think only one “candy” that I can’t quite say the same, which I will explain and elaborate on in this post. 

5, Please remember that the people who do this do it in good nature: something I didn’t make clear in my post yesterday, which is on me, is that the fans do want them to be together, but they’re not like… yandere level or something. If they’re just friends the fans won’t be upset or betrayed or anything, they just prefer to see them as romantic. They don’t mean any harm, and they don’t cause any harm because China is physically and digitally too far away for them to actually fuck shit up, and they understand the lines of parasocial relationships: those who met with Taylor during his China trip in December know to, and didn’t bring up this in front of him. They know where to draw the line, and whoever doesn’t and starts becoming a problem gets kicked out of the community. This is meant for fun.

Ok with that being say, main event under the cut:

Lexi Galitzine

Preface for this one, and I cannot emphasise this enough: I did not fact check this one, I don’t follow Lexi on any social media. These are discoveries of the original posters. Please do not disturb Lexi and respect her privacy, especially since she is not a public figure. This is observation and speculation all done in casual, good fun, please respect her and leave her alone.

Starting from 20th December, Lexi Galitzine, Nick’s older and only sister, starting following Taylor on Instagram, which is quite odd since it was past rwrb’s promo period. Even during the promo period, Lexi only liked the rwrb official account’s post on twitter. And it’s her personal account, not her work account, so this is a personal thing.

She then proceeded to like Taylor’s post from the 20th, 23rd , and 29th. All of which are pictures from his China trip, and therefore has nothing to do with Nick.

Lexi is a graphic designer, so she mostly follows artist and designers. For Nick’s co-workers, Lexi only follows two female co-star who are very close to Nick. Taylor’s the first male friend of Nick’s that Lexi followers.

Your Man

As we all know, on Taylor’s birthday, Aneesh posted her (so far) last rwrb photo dump, and among those ones was Taylor and Nick singing together (which was adorable)

They sang “Your Man” together, which is quite a romantic and sweet song if you look at the lyrics

Taylor then commented under the post, and I quote “You recorded Ahahaahhaa”, implying he didn’t know that this was recorded at the time of the video. But… from the video, Aneesh isn’t that far away from the boys, and Taylor’s facing Aneesh, unlike Nick, who was facing Taylor.

(This is fully up to interpretation) There’s such a… vibe between them in that video.  

(To me this is a stretch but) Taylor’s at Nick’s trailer. And if we recall the “OHHH THERE’S THE MOVIE STAR” little video where Nick got all adorably flustered since Taylor filmed Nick getting out of the lift, it means that Taylor was waiting for Nick, and Nick wasn’t surprised to see Taylor, so this has been going on for a while. If there is more than one lift, then Taylor also somehow knows which one Nick’s coming out from. They know each other’s route/place and meet up a lot.

Aneesh posted a video of both of them singing on Taylor’s birthday, and when wishing Taylor happy birthday, she posted that video on her story. It’s Taylor’s birthday, it would have made more sense to post either photos of just Taylor, or Taylor with her, which is what she did for his last birthday.

Nick’s Tiktok

Mentioned this yesterday but I’ll translate it here too: Nick originally followed 83 accounts on Tik Tok. On 11th January 2024, Nick cleared out his following, and only 7 remained: Camila Cabello (Cinderella 2021, Cinderella), Ayo Oedebiri (Bottoms, Josie), Rachel Sennott (Bottoms, PJ), Sio Torley (M&G, Crew), Inez Ella Clark (M&G, Makeup), Cameron Valetina (Model), and Taylor. Taylor is somehow, the only guy remaining.

Among these seven people, Nick mostly likely only introduced Taylor and Camila to Lexi, because Lexi only follows those two on social media

Later Nick followed a 4 generally accounts, but then three days he unfollowed two of those. So he has 9 followings now: 2 content accounts, 6 girl, and Taylor.

Please note that I did not fact check this, and I literally cannot fact check it because Tik Tok is completely unavailable here. Everything I translated is from OP and the screenshots she provided.

Again, this is all in good fun. But after the shit storm yesterday, I kind of wanted to use this to remind people in the rwrb who love them both and are understandably bothered and upset by the haters that the boys are proven to have a good relationship, and this is evidence. Whether these acts are platonic or romantic is none of our business and up to interpretation, but these show that they have a good relationship regardless. Don't let the assholes get to you, and have fun with these :D

theres a certain group of people that i see on rwrbtwt who act in a kind of… invasive parasocial way specifically towards nick galitzine and it’s getting really frustrating. (it’s plausible its also at taylor zakhar perez but im not seeing that personally so i can’t say.)

it’s things like screenshotting his old tweets & posting them and tagging him in the tweets where they’re joking about it. and then when he deletes the tweet they call that out & laugh about it or cry about it because from their pov it was innocuous, but they laughed at it and drew attention to it. not because they want to be cruel but because they would do similar with friends (where it would be okay, depending) and have a parasocial relationship with him that makes them think its okay to act similarly.

the most recent one was posting screenshots of accounts in his insta following & not necessarily mocking him for it, but being overly familiar about it (very easily could be read as mocking though especially if you’re sensitive about it). then they are drawing attention to him unfollowing the accounts, which was likely because he’d seen the tweets because they continue to tag him in stuff. they laugh about it and don’t see it as a bad thing but are crowing about getting noticed & getting him to do something. they’re proud of it and of it being proof he’s lurking on social media. and not seeing that they’re why he’s lurking and not posting stuff.

quite frankly, it’s invasive and gross behaviour. i expect they would find it incredibly weird if a stranger went through to find tweets they made 5 or so years ago & then screenshot and sent it to them. why is it okay because he’s a celeb? they’re quick to talk about how you shouldn’t talk about certain things just bc they’re famous but will be fine about doing this.

i think the worst thing is they have talked about how nice it is nick has openly talked about his mental health & anxiety struggles and then do this kind of thing with absolutely no regard for how it might be affecting him. i know i would be finding it very difficult not to delete all my past tweets if that was happening to me, i definitely wouldn’t be wanting to tweet more.

and it’s just conjecture, but the fact he’s deleting the tweets & unfollowing the accounts makes it look like it is affecting him. they’re actively making social media an inhospitable place for him to be and then complaining he doesn’t tweet anymore, or that he’s rebranding/archiving insta posts.

if you really want to act like that, which is your choice, dont do it publicly. do it on private accounts, in a groupchat, in a private forum. if you’re determined to get validation from the numbers going up, don’t tag nick in your posts. let him avoid stuff.

I wonder how the rwrb twitter fandom wants to deal with the sequel when they pretend taylor is completely dead and just use his face for the firstprince edits and then say "tzp isn't alex" (and that's a horrible thing to say for someone who put heart and soul for that movie and it wouldn't have existed without him) meanwhile they have no problem supporting Nick for everything he does (as they should, I love the guy a lot). I'm almost hoping the sequel doesn't happen.

Sorry for the rant, I don't have many friends online and I don't know who to vent to.

I chose to post this ask especially for the last part, because I would have been very sorry if you had felt ignored by me too so please feel free to come to my DM next time if you want to talk about anything, there's no problem 🫂

To talk now about the rest of what you wrote: I know what you're referring to, I don't deny I'm quite active on twitter but because over the years I've built my own bubble, with people I get along well with and have a lot of fun with. This doesn't stop me, unfortunately, from seeing what happens outside my bubble and I know what you're talking about, the whole "they're acting like he's dead" thing because I've seen it too. Not everyone does that of course, Taylor is also very supported and loved there but all this is happening, I tell you, for two reasons:

1: There have always been people who were mainly "Nick fans", who also talked about Taylor when the film was more active but never really supported him and they stopped at the first opportunity. And don't get me wrong, there are A LOT of people who mostly support Nick but are absolutely respectful of Taylor. Others less so, they have always had a sort of resentment towards him and recently it has resulted in real hatred, the fact that they are quite big accounts unfortunately doesn't help.

2: The rwrb twitter fandom has had a significant toxic escalation lately and there are people who choose not to talk about Taylor so as not to have problems within the big accounts of the fandom. I know, it seems like total madness and yet it's true and it's quite obvious too. So they don't talk about him in their profiles to maintain good relations with the others accounts.

About the sequel and how they will behave with Taylor... I have no idea honestly, I'm really in hype and I can't wait for this to happen but I would be lying if I said I'm not "worried" a little of how they would behave with him especially after tioy, but we'll see, maybe they'll then pretend nothing happened before so they can enjoy the promo ☠️ Who knows?

I know that place can be extremely intoxicating and bring you down a lot, they are all very vocal and they seem so many and noisy and annoying and problematic, the truth is that it's a bubble and you have to be able to ignore as much as possible because they don't deserve anything else. The way they behave says everything about them.

Create your own positive bubble, with people who support both of them and are good people and try to keep the rest out of there. He will be fine, even without these toxic people who have decided his existence is no longer worth acknowledging. Fandoms always lead to toxicity, no one is saved, what we can do is take care of our experience as best we can.

All of Ah, leaven help me, he's dangerous is, in my not-so-unbiased opinion, a masterclass in horrifyingly hilarious puns, but "Patrick’s filling moistens as he takes in the crisp, clean lines, the creamy middle layer catching his attention immediately. Oh, he wants to share a tray with this bar; he didn’t know it was possible to want this much. He’s so busy imagining how their flavour profiles would match that it’s almost a surprise when the tray is set down right next to Patrick’s own" might be the bestworst of the lot. Not least because I wrote it at 3am, sent it to @nontoxic-writes and @januarium both of whom initially thought it was just... human porn that I'd decided to write in the most purple prose way possible, for some fucking reason.

There was also the absolute throwaway joke of having a twitter account called "Iambic Tweeter" that tweeted in... well, iambic pentameter at the start of chapter 3 of the RWRB actor AU which, frankly, did not get the attention it deserved because that was peak twitter nonsense back in the pre-Elon twitter and I thought it was great, personally.

There was also, of course, Rebecca Québécois as a Hannah Montana expy. But that name was crowdsourced lmao.
