ok this is totally a nitpick but i noticed a lot of fans & fan works refer to L as being british. which is, like, fine, hard to beat the british allegations, but the thing is that he says he only lived in england for 5 years. like it doesn't necessarily sound like he was born there. the 5 years in question are going to be the time he spent at Wammy House, and when he got to Wammy House he was already a young child. i mean, he was talking to Light so he could have been just completely lying, but i always thought it sounded more like Watari brought him to england from somewhere else ??

he probably does have an accent just due to being raised by and constantly in the presence of Watari but idk I'm not totally convinced its very strong. i think his accent would be a little vague

anyway idk if that's just a me thing. but also if the audience just Knows exactly where he's from i feel like he loses a little bit of mystery </3

love this passage. gives us so much insight into what ned really believes about robert even though he’s blocking it all out and trying to see the friend he once knew + some “ned thinks of jon as his son not nephew” fluff. he’s wondering if robert would allow someone to kill his son, bran, bringing him to lyanna’s pleas for jon’s life. yes, ned knows robert would kill ned’s son if it was in his best interest, he’s always known.

my post about my primal snappers having over 200 notes makes me sooo happy because i feel like snappers are a severely underappreciated breed on flight rising. like sure they're clunky and hard to dress but when you pull a fit/gene combo together they really stun like no other
