Friedrich getting 'infected' by proximity and becoming obsessed with dhampir reader?
Friedrich Harding x Dhampir male reader
Ficlet
I can’t deny I felt myself drawn to Friedrich, and it’s not just cuz its Aaron Taylor-Johnson playing him. The scene in the mausoleum… was something. This takes place somewhere after anna and the daughters die, but before Friedrich, well, you know. Tried to really go with the handsome mysterious vampire vibe here.
Hope this meets the “intro to obsession” vibe I was going for. I had a lot of fun writing this, would honestly love to write a part 2, if y’all are interested…
Nosfertatu 2024 spoilers ig
The plague was ransacking Wisborg, people dying by the dozen, bodies littering the streets faster than they could be moved away. Rats ran around, running about peoples feet, some even climbing up pedestrians legs if they could.
But Friedrich could not find it in himself to care. After his sweet Anna was gone, his beautiful daughters too, taken by this plague, for he still did not believe that it was some demon that took them. That was simply the ramblings of a woman who should have been locked away a long time ago. The alcohol on his tongue was sour like his thoughts. He truly should have convinced Thomas of turning his eyes onto another woman all that time ago.
Friedrich was not at his estate. He knew that would be the first place Thomas would find him, along with the two doctors who only played into the delusion. He simply couldn’t stand being in their presence right now, not after burying his beloved Anna and their daughters.
His eyes were bloodshot, throat raw from all his sobbing and weeping. He had not even changed out of the clothing he had worn to their funeral. The keeper of the bar he had found, had left the bottle with him after he had pair, deciding to return to the safety of their home, and not be stuck here with Friedrich.
The door of the establishment opened with a creak, cold air seeming to flood the room. What few candles stood about flickered before snuffing out, the room suddenly so cold that Friedrich’s breath was making vapors as a horrible cold sank into his bones.
The moment Friedrich turned his head, still so heavy and weary, the room seemed to warm up again, the candles flickering back on, the flame stronger and brighter than before. A man stood in the door, tall and broad in a way that spoke of good lineage, of a healthy diet, someone rich enough to eat enough to grow tall.
The clothing was similar, but not what was popular in Germany, but rather what you would see the upper class of the kingdom of Great Britain would wear. Most of it, at least. Down the middle of his coat, was stitching’s and details that felt like it was from somewhere else. It made Friedrich think of the few traders he had met from Romania.
What was most peculiar, was the mans eyewear. They looked like Windsor glasses, but the glass was tinted red. Not a dull weak red that most craftsmen could achieve, but a red so vibrant that the shades almost seemed to glow in the mans shadow. Last but not least, was the cane the man was holding. Polished and dark, with a pommel shaped like that seemed to be a bat of all things.
A feeling started filling the room as the men stepped closer to the mourning widow, the door slamming shut behind the mysterious man as if the wind itself as pulled it, his polished shoes and heels clicking across the flooring as he neared.
His walk was graceful, as if his feet were not touching the ground as he moved, like the weight of the world was not holding him down like everyone else. The world so heavy that Friedrich wanted it to swallow him whole.
A shiver that felt both molten and freezing ran down Friedrichs spine, as this graceful man sat down beside him on another stool at the door, the ship merchant finding himself almost bewitched as the unknown man pulled off his skintight leather gloves. It felt almost promiscuous, the way the gloves slowly pulled off his fingers and folded up so neatly on the bar top.
“You would not mind if I joined you for a drink, would you, Herr?” he finally spoke, his voice purred and accented, like a big fancily dressed feline, perhaps like one of those lions Friedrich had heard of. The voice was accented, something British mixed with Romanian. Seemingly out of nowhere, a crystal glass was in front of him, the mans eyes hidden behind the tinted glass of his special eyewear, but Friedrich felt like a mouse before a cat, like he was seeing someone greater than himself.
“N… not at all” he finally mustered out, voice gasped and breathless, like something besides his heavy grief was weighing on his lungs. The bottle of whatever alcohol Friedrich had bought in his blind grief felt heavy in his clammy hands as he pulled the stopper, turning it to pour it into the mans glass.
Friedrich could not wrench his eyes from the tall mans face, he felt almost bewitched. It felt like when he would look at Anna, but… more. Anna was always his beloved beautiful wife, who made him feel like an animal at times with how much he yearned her. But with her, he was the wolf, the hunter, and her his fluffy rabbit.
But now, he felt meek, sensitive, the hairs on his skin standing on end. Friedrich felt spit pool in his mouth as his sudden companion lifted the now filled glass, slowly bringing it to his plush lips, the bop of his throat as he swallowed making sweat gather on the merchant’s brow.
The beating of his heart was loud in his ears, Friedrichs hands twitching on the bar top in a need to wipe them on his trousers, but under this man’s attention he felt stuck as if he was submerged in stone or ice. His smile was… so beautiful. Dizzying, like alcohol and tobacco, like the medicines that made your world spin and colors dance before your ears.
Some of the man’s teeth were sharp, sharper than any Friedrich had ever seen, but his attention was stuck on the way his tongue flicked across his bottom lip to catch any stray drops of alcohol.
“You seemed burdened by a great weight, my friend” he purred, placing the now empty glass down, just to reach upper and take Friedrichs chin between his pointer and thumb. A loud shaky exhale left Friedrich, his Adams apple bouncing as he swallowed, his insides burning at such a small touch.
“I… I lost my wife… my daughters. To this plague” he gasped, the words wrenching from his chest like his daughters wrenching the favorite doll from each other’s hands. Why did he say that? spill such a painful fact to a complete stranger.
“You have my deepest condolences” his accented voice cooed, like one would coo at a small pitiful animal. Yet, Friedrich did not feel put down by the tone of voice, instead his very heart seemed to pump twice as fast as something like euphoria flooded his veins. The very attention of this man had Friedrich feeling more alive than any other moment of his life.
“It saddens me that my father’s obsession should take such important beings from you. I will find a way to repay you, anything you may want. You simply come find me, when you know what that is” his almost erotic voice rolled, his face drawing closer and closer to Friedrichs.
He knew he should pull away, claim disgust and horror of a man, and a strange at that, drawing so close, just after his wife had been put away in the mausoleum. But Friedrichs blood rushed, both to his face and downwards, his lips parting in a soft hungry gasp as his eyelids drooped.
The mans lips were cold, but not as cold as a corpses. Cold, like when you just got in from the pouring rain and you were soaked to the bone. His tongue tasted metallic, salty almost, mixed with the minty flavor of pastils. The kind a man would use to fix his breath.
It should have disgusted Friedrich, yet he found himself arching into it with a needy hungry whimper, a noise his sweet Anna never had drawn from him. The merchant wanted to grasp onto this man, to devour his tongue and mouth in ways he never dared with Anna, to climb upon him and be taken in ways he had only heard shamefully spoken of by others.
Pure ecstasy, what must be a taste of heaven, enough for Friedrich to fear he would spill in his trousers like a fool. Addicting, more than any drug. But just as he was about to indulge himself, the man pulled away, his grin wider and more akin to the demon paintings of the churches.
His teeth were painted red, his tongue flicking across his sharp fangs. His tongue seemed sharper and longer than the average person, but Friedrich felt nothing but want. In his hazy state, Friedrich did not even see him leave. One moment he was there, the next, gone, the door of the establishment wide open and the candles put out.
Rats ran by the door, yet none entered, as if there was a barrier in the way. It was only now that Friedrich felt the ache of his tongue, his hand clumsily reaching up and brushing against it, drawing away only to see them coated in blood. His mouth tasted like blood, his handkerchief soaked in it when he pressed it against his mouth.
His tongue hurt, did it start bleeding on accident when you two coiled yours like a pair of mating snakes? The throbbing of his tongue was almost as addictive as the throbbing between his legs, a wild feeling in his mind and body.
Friedrich stumbled to his feet, neglecting to pick up his hat as he stumbled out of the establishment, leaving his bottle behind as he tripped towards his home. With all the death around them, no one had time to pay attention to the befuddled man whose mouth and chin was soaked in blood, and nobody had time to pay attention to how the rats seemed to go right around him like a parting sea.
He must get home. He had too… he had to find that man again, he had to find you.

What do you think happened between Minna Bhaer and Franz's and Emil's father? I often think about it.
I have a headcanon that they worked in a newspaper in Berlin. She followed him and they traveled to America, but he left her and then she became ill and Fritz found her and the boys from the poor house.
That is the puzzle of the ages, at least in the Little Women fandom. In order to answer this properly, I had to dig a little deeper into what was historically happening at the time when Minna would have met and went to America with her husband. Going by your timeline, which I trust completely, Franz was born in 1859 and Emil 1861, so his parents would have had to have met during the 1850s.
All that we know of Minna’s husband/Mr. Hoffmann is that he is American, and is not in the picture by the time Friedrich comes over to America. Things that I inferred from the text is that Mr. Hoffmann isn’t a sore spot for Friedrich or the boys (could be possible for the boys to not remember much of their father), but I personally think that the Hoffmann’s were just a simple family that had fallen on hard times and tragedy struck the parents down. I don’t believe that Friedrich, being the family man that he is, would allow his sister to go and marry some man that he hasn’t met or felt he could trust, given their history of their own father abandoning them. But before I go into that, let’s take a look at the history that was surrounding Germany and America at this time.
Germany during the 1850s had political issues, religious turmoil, and economic struggles, and according to the research I did, it was during this time that a huge number of Germans had travelled over to America, as mainly due to there was hardly any place that would welcome German immigrants. Between 1845-1855 alone, more than a million Germans came to America, and in 1854, it was recorded that 215,000 Germans came over. America took advantage of this influx of immigrants and hired them to work in some of the most labor-intensive jobs, like building canals and railroads.
You suggest that perhaps they were journalists in Berlin and possibly in America. For anyone that is wondering, there was indeed a German language magazine in New York City, known as “New Yorker Staats-Zeitung” founded in the 1830s. It was established by German-American business men, and it was incredibly popular and profitable all the way into the 1960s. While I think it is intriguing to think that they became journalists in America, there is something that throws doubt in my mind.
Friedrich was a highly thought of and brilliant professor in Germany, with qualifications that would be ideal for any university, and yet, he was unable to get that kind of job, and was stuck being a tutor in the Kirke boarding house. The sad reality of this time is that, regardless of what skills and education you may have had in your homeland, it was hardly appreciated in America. While Germans had established their own communities and were a respected immigrant group, they too faced prejudice in the work force, especially by the American born citizens who disliked immigrants taking jobs away from them. It took Friedrich years and the luck of his wife inheriting a large house turned school, to become a teacher, and in much later in life a president of a school, so I can’t imagine that finding a high profile and paying job like that would have come easy.
Also, I think it is highly unlikely that Minna would have been a journalist in Berlin, because during the 1850s, it was against the law for women to be a part of political events, or be associated with anything that deals with politics, and newspapers/magazines did such that. She wouldn’t have had the experience to be able to do that and transfer that knowledge to America, and women’s rights would have become common in Germany in the 1870s, long after she had moved to America and had passed away. As much as it is an interesting background, I don’t feel confident that she would have worked for a newspaper company.
There is something interesting to note about the name Hoffmann, something that could give a clue into Mr. Hoffmann’s background. It is of German origin, but it is also a common name for anyone of Jewish origin. During the 1850s, there were many German Jews living at this time, just as much as there were German Christians, and I wonder if there may be a possibility of Mr. Hoffmann being Jewish. We know the Bhaers are Christian, but as we see with Friedrich, are not prejudice towards them. This unlocks a new avenue of possibilities that could be explored and explain more about the mysterious Mr. Hoffmann.
If we do believe him to be of Jewish origin, it can answer a question that I had for the longest time. Why didn’t Minna ask any of Mr. Hoffmann’s family to raise her boys after she died if she was dedicated to having them raised in America? Most likely because they were unhappy at their son, a Jewish man, married to a Christian woman and disowned him. With no American in-laws to help, who else can Minna turned to, other than her only living relative and one she trusts utterly, her own brother.
Here is my personal headcanon of the mysterious Mr. Hoffmann and his relationship with Minna:
Mr. Hoffmann’s parents came to America to avoid the discriminatory and heavy laws that were put against Jews during that time in Germany. Along with some other Jewish families, the Hoffmann’s helped to establish a bank in New York City, allowing them to earn money to raise their family in a middle class setting. He was raised with care, went to good schools, wore fine clothes, and was given opportunities to have interests, one he deeply loved was music, but still faced prejudice due to his Jewish background. While his parents were progressive in thoughts of women’s rights, abolition, and sex education, they are old fashioned when it comes to one thing, religion; people ought to marry within their own religion, and after everything they had gone through, they had a great distrust in Christians.
Because they encouraged him to be interested in social and political matters, Mr. Hoffmann attends meetings and reads newspapers that not only express ideals he was brought up in, but helps to broaden his knowledge of things his parents wouldn’t normally talk about, and has friends from all different kinds of backgrounds. To him, America is the melting pot of cultures and the hope for a more unified world, which is something his parents disagree, thinking each culture ought to stay with their own, especially as an effort to preserve it. He got the best education he was afforded, and was expected to have a place in his father’s bank, but wanting to do something on his own merit, he used his money to buy a little music store and has managed it with great success. His parents see this as a hobby, which saddens him that they don’t seem to understand that he likes managing the store, but he lets it go for the time.
Once he became a young man, he decided to travel back to Germany to see what his parents’ homeland was like, wondering if things had changed then, and that was how he managed to meet Minna. He got lost and was trying to find his old home, when he asked a young lady to help him, and they hit it off wonderfully. Minna Bhaer is a kind and bright young woman, and shows him around the city, answering his questions, and when he commends her for how bright she is, she blushes and says that credit goes to her brother who is a great teacher. Inviting him to dinner, she introduces him to Friedrich, who was very welcoming to the young man, and they listened to the tales of America, just as they shared how Germany has become the country it is now since his parents left. They talk about music, philosophy, religion, and progressive ideas, which Mr. Hoffmann is grateful to meet like minded people as him.
Mr. Hoffmann had planned to stay only for at most a month, but he found that the warmth of the Bhaer home was too wonderful to leave so soon, especially of the company of the young Minna. One month turned to two, two to four, and it was very clear to Friedrich that a romance is blossoming between the two. While he has no objections against his religion or taking her to America, he does grill him in how Mr. Hoffmann will take care of his bride, not only financially, but emotionally. Minna had told Mr. Hoffmann about how their father walked out of the family, and while she was too young to remember him and care that much, she shares that Friedrich still carries that wound, and he understands Friedrich’s concern of a possibility of Minna being abandoned by both a father and husband.
Mr. Hoffmann knew that there was a good chance that they would not accept her, may even disown him, but he loved Minna very much and explained that he had a store of his own that was doing well and would provide for them both, and whatever children they will have. Friedrich, satisfied that Minna would be taken care of, gives his blessings to the pair, and they marry in a civil ceremony in Germany before travelling back to America.
When Mr. Hoffmann tells his parents of his marriage, they are enraged that he would marry a Christian, when it’s his duty to marry a good Jewish woman. Because Jews go by the lineage of their mothers, not their fathers, they are upset that their children will not be “real Jews”, no matter what Minna tries to say or do to make it the whole thing fair to everyone. They cut him off, explain that he is dead to them and he never hears from them again. While he is upset his parents aren’t accepting of his choice, he doesn’t regret loving Minna, and they work hard the next year to make their store a success, and find that they are expecting.
First came Franz in 1859, named after their favorite composer Franz Shubert, then in 1961 Emil, a name shared by both of their grandfathers. Mr. Hoffmann sent letters telling his parents of each son’s birth, but received no reply and expected no visit, which did hurt him though it wasn’t unexpected. Despite his parent’s rejection, and Friedrich being on a different continent (that doesn’t stop him from sending gifts to the boys on their birthdays), the Hoffmann family was happy and proved that their love was stronger than everyone’s prejudice. After discussing how to raise the boys, Mr. Hoffmann insisted that they were raised Christian, as he felt it would make their life easier, but Minna assured that she would not let the boys forget that their father was Jewish, and if that they are free to make the choice as they grow up which they would rather be.
The nation becomes divided until ultimately a civil war breaks out, and because he finds the idea of slavery abhorrent and unable to stand by and watch injustice happen before his eyes, he joins the Union army. While Minna is scared to death he’ll die, she knows she has to be strong and admires him for his conviction. He’ll serve in the war for three years before he is killed in battle, and the news devastates Minna, who is now all alone. If it wasn’t bad enough that she lost husband, she was unable to say goodbye to him as he was buried with the other fallen soldiers in a hurry, and, because of a stipulation in the deed, it means the store and their apartment above now belonged to his parents, which meant they turned Minna and her boys out in the cold without a second thought.
Minna takes her boys to a small and broken down apartment, which was all she could afford, finds a job that pays very little, just enough to take care of her boys, sacrificing her own wellbeing to make sure they stay healthy. This comes back to bit her as she feels greatly ill, making her write to Friedrich, telling him of everything that has happened and expresses her wish that should she die, her boys should be raised by him in America, like their father died. Friedrich hurried over to America, and is with her for a month trying to take care of her before she passes away. Now, with two young boys in his charge and new to America, Friedrich must do what he can to raise them well, and finds luck in the Kirke’s boarding house, where not only does he find lodging that is significantly better than where his sister was living at previously, but they offered him a job as a tutor to help take care of them.
I'll admit, I wasn't expecting this outcome, but the more of the deep dive I did of history, this backstory just came to me naturally. What do you guys think?

Ended up doing these headcanons for my babyboy instead of writing that Prince Friedrich smut that I've been bothering my friend with. 😅 ( it got a little self-inserty).
I'm going to ignore the throwaway line about his parents and him having an extra finger lmao
Because Jake was raised by a single mother
They weren't poor but she wasn't making a lot of money either ( is that referred to as anything? I’m dumb gjjvjikk)
Definitely was popular in school
I can't say he was the jock type
At least not the stereotypical kind
Caused problems for most of his teachers
That boy was chaotic
Has a learning disability
Not sure what kind (didn't think too much about it)
Maybe he has dyslexia?
Wanted to be a racecar driver since he was little
Has two younger sisters
He's very close with them
Especially with his mom
Mama Martin raised him to be a respectable gentleman despite his reputation ( I don't think he's a manwhore. Just a shameful flirt. People are pretty okay?!)
Knows how to braid hair
He’s not very good at it
He’s very proud of himself though when he sees it finished
Gets very into doing his sisters’ hair
Face scrunched up and tongue sticking out in concentration
Has a skincare routine because of his sisters
It's not a long routine
Something simple he can remember
Jake takes pride in taking care of himself
Got you into doing a morning and night routine
It's just another way to spend more time with you
Jake constantly has to have his hands on you
Finds any excuse to touch you at work
He's very touchy
Not in an unhealthy way
Loves telling you about his day
Even the smallest detail
Doesn't matter if you were with him
Hides from Catherine in your office lol
Since he doesn't have his own space he's taken up co-decorating your office
Your desk is littered with Hot Wheels and things he’s bought that reminded him of you or things you like
Bought you a Lightning McQueen pen holder, but it was definitely for him
Bought you these cute little bat sticky notes they had out at Halloween for your desk
Your tastes are totally opposite of his but that's why he loves you
Loves listening to you ramble about your favorite TV show, book, or fictional character
He might not know what you're talking about but, he's invested
Never wants you to think he doesn't care about what you think
Always wants to know about your day
Taken over your spinny chair
Such a child when he’s in it
Spun too fast he’s fallen over multiple times
Despite Kevin getting onto him for not running laps on the simulator, he’ll sit on your lap most days while you manage his and Jessie’s socials
Has such a sweet tooth
Doesn't care for coffee unless it's sweet
Likes sweet tea (lots of sugar. Man’s from the south)
Other than sweets, he eats pretty healthy
Not like obsessed with it though
Doesn't work out constantly either
Obsessed with the Cars franchise obviously
Talladega Nights is his fave comdey
He hates horror films
But he’ll watch them because you like them
As long as you promise to hold him
Buys his mom and sisters tickets to all his races
Always wants to make his mom proud
He worries sometimes about not making it into the top ten
Momma Martin is always there along with his sisters after the race to congratulate him
Any worries vanished once he sees his family’s faces
Especially, if you’re among them
You always make him feel better no matter what place he finishes
He’s excited to see you as soon as he climbs out the window of his car
He struggles, almost losing his balance
You have to stifle a laugh
Thankfully, he’s uninjured as he rushes towards you
He drops his helmet as he wraps his strong arms around you, picking you up and spinning you around
Everything else disappears and it’s just you and Jake
You’re smiling so hard, your face hurts
He sets you down and beams at you with his boyish grin
It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been together
Every time he looks at you with the widest smile on his face it makes your face heat up, breath caught in your throat
Celebratory wings and drinks at The Pit Stop with his family + the crew
After sometime, he and Jessie start getting along
But, not all the time
Albeit, still competitive
Drives Kevin crazy
He’s gained another sister though
He’s such a golden retriever sunshine boy
Your dynamic is amusing among everyone at work
You’re the sweetest person they know, but if they didn’t
They’d be scared to approach you
That’s why it throws them off with the way Jake acts
Especially with the way you dress when you’re off the clock
Chuck says you look like you want to maul people’s faces off
He’s a dog person, but he’s taken to your cat
One day you came home from work late to find him cuddled up on your couch with it
It was the most precious thing you ever seen
It’s definitely your lockscreen
He’s a little spoon
And a blanket hog
Likes to sleep with one leg out of the cover
Definitely not a morning person
You have to bribe him with kisses and breakfast
His love languages are words of affirmation , quality time, and gift giving
He’s definitely bought you matching Cars outfits
Totally has that Lightning McQueen jacket from LunchBox
That’s obvs his contact name in your phone
His is your nickname followed by multiple heart emojis
Comes up with the dumbest, cheesiest pet names
They make you cringe hard
But, you gotta love him
He’s bisexual, but he’s not open about it given his career and the political climate around NASCAR
I don’t really think he’s had a lot of luck in relationships until he meets you
Most of his partners dated him for NASCAR driver Jake Martin and not just for himself
Doesn’t want to settle down anytime soon
Is fine if you don’t want to get married
Likes kids but doesn’t want them
It’d be difficult raising them given his career

I made Dr Friedrich in HeroForge bc why not
With the bisexual flag bc I headcanon him as such, a couple of test tubes (most likely containing some sort of generic sci-fi potions) and a mug of that German coffee he’s so enthusiastic about. I simply love evil scientists, even if this particular one wants to instigate a zombie apocalypse. All the credit goes to Rocky ASMR on YouTube for making this chaotically loveable character.
“Do not worry, mein freund, Friedrich doesn’t bite. Not very hard, anyway. Heheheh…”

literally any one of my fics where he’s all soft are gonna be my favs.
12. who is your favourite author?
well in the rdr2 fandom i cant choose bc there are so many. i think some of my all time favs would be

Headcanons - Hannelore something something Schöninger (Boerne) - Edition
(But let’s face it: She’s definitely already divorced at least two husbands and probably outlived two more :D)
She’s a very proud woman and she’s proud to be a Boerne.
She’s got at least two middle names and they’re something ridiculous like Hedwig, Alma or Franka.
She hates her middle names and her little brother has learned the hard way not to mention them.
She has only Betty bc one child is more than enough. Since her little brother couldn’t be bothered to produce any offsprings, she had to do this too. And she’s done her duty...
Despite everything she likes being a mother even though she isn’t the warm and cuddling type.
She’s proud of her daughter even though she knows that Betty’s a spoiled brat.
She admires and likes Alberich a lot but would never admit it.
When she met Alberich for the first time she witnessed how the other woman beat Boerne first at table football and than verbally at his own game. That impressed and amused her.
She trusts Alberich and Thiel to keep her brother in check and look after him for her.
She doesn’t get her brother’s friendship/connection with Thiel but she’s learned to accepted it for what it is.
Thiel puzzles her. She often finds him rude but also likes that he’s straightforward.
She secretly adores Wilhelmine Klemm and laughs about the way she controls Thiel and her brother. She’s sure they could have been great friends. But they both don’t do friendships like that. So they’re just short-term allies against her brother sometimes.
She also knows that Alberich or even Thiel could have been a good influence on her Betty. She’s still frustrated that her brother never made a move on either of them. But she never mentions that to her brother. They just don’t talk about sentiments.
She’s a daddy’s girl. Which fits bc Karl-Friedrich has a mommy complex. And she’s made her father very proud.
When Karl-Friedrich got his professorship she just wrote a card which said “About time”.
She loves her job and takes it very seriously. She enjoys it as much as tormenting her little brother on a regular basis.
She calls her brother at least once a month just to annoy him.
She used to gang up on little Karl-Friedrich. Telling him since she’s the smart he has to work harder and earn his achievements.
She also loves her brother bc she has to. It’s just genetics and biology.
She worries about him constantly in her own way. But she doesn’t want to. It irritates her. That’s why she never visits him when he’s hospitalized. Also he never informs her anyway and she knows that he has his own family who takes care of him when he needs it.
She is a much better female version of Mycroft Holmes.
She once threatened a boy in high school bc he insulted her brother and never told Karl-Friedrich. He was never bothered again after this.
When Karl-Friedrich was 5, he gifted her a self-made drawing of them both.The caption just said “Me and you.” She never thanked him for it and he thought she hated the it. They never exchanged meaningful presents after this again. But she still has the picture.
She’s a control freak. She’s always informed about everything especially if if it concerns her little brother.
In contrast to him she’s learned to play the “family game” like a pro. But she despises it.
She’s a beauty with a sharp mind.
She loathed her former sister-in-law.
She doesn’t smoke or drink. Her drug of choice is something else. She enjoys success and winning more.
#family boerne#headcanons#hannelore boerne#siblingslove#tatort münster#it's probably a lot of bs but i just wanted to get it out of my head#beneidenswerte soziale Kompetenz hat sich unter der Knute einer älteren Schwester entwickelt

4, 20, 28 for the oc questions?
4. A character you rarely talk about?
Mmm, there are a couple...I've stopped talking about Cris as much, but I think the one I really never hit on here is Temperance which is a damn shame! He's had a whole arc of getting Worse™ and he's such an interesting person now that he's kind of bound by his own flaws to kill Strahd-The-Despot, even if it'll change absolutely nothing. They're actually very good foils.
20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?
Asher does; he's in a band called Asher And The Happy Mediums! As far as voice HCs go, let's see…
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0ActYfwTz_I Jelani Alladin here; I think the band's music more closely resembles https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=e1kVFuAdRx0 this!
28. Your most dangerous OC?
Hmmm. I think that has to be Cris by default; Temp hits pretty hard but he's situational; Cristovao, to contrast, has infinite ammo as provided by Jesus (yes, really) and is willing to use it. Asher is pretty nonviolent, Friedrich is a pacifist, so...yeah it's got to be the divinely ordained Demon Hunter, which makes sense.
Thank you for sending these in!!!

General Slender Man headcanons?
Sure! I mean a please would be appreciated but hope you like these!
~~~
“The human is evil.” – Friedrich Nietzsche
· So, much, salt. Oh lord. Do not respond to him with a kurt, ‘k’. Oh no no no, dear lord no. You will get a MOUTHFUL from him.
· Like Trender gets pissed at people trying to pin him into one personality and one style, Slender gets pissed when people try to assume that something was done to him to make him the way he is.
· Oh, no.
· No no no. He is the very definition of that quote ‘The scariest thing about me is that I am the result of a happy childhood’. He was not scarred or hurt in any way- he is just him. Bitter, human hating, introverted, and dark.
· And besides, he doesn’t consider himself evil because he kills humans. No, no. They ask for what they get by walking into his forest despite ample warning- and besides, humans suck. They’re evil (See the first quote) and they try to take the whole earth down with them just because they have shorter lifespans. Selfish bastards.
· He considers himself evil because he hates everyone, human or otherwise. Only animals and plants for him, thank you.
· Of course, he also takes in traumatised, psychopath children so he’s a very complicated creature.
· Ghosts and demons do not scare him. Not even the most malevolent of spirits and energies. Not at all. And trust me- the Slender Mansion is not a stranger to ghostie happenings (Other than BEN and Sally. We’re talking about ghosts that have no corporeal form). *Cough* Jeff and E.J are scared shitless of the spirits.
· He totally has a kink for being treated like a feared king. Kneel before him (If you’re in a relationship) and he’ll be in a much better mood, for hours.
· Offender refers to Slender’s place as rock bottoms basement because he always ends up there after a bad trip or whenever the FBI is after him again, or because of any other disaster following his existence since Slender Mansion is very hard to find. Slender is not amused.
· Salem, Gyro Gearloose and Squidward are Slender’s spirit animals.
· Speaking of animals! If Slender could have all the craziest animals on the planet as pets, like crocodiles and elephants and killer whales, then he would be very, very happy. Unfortunately, he lives in a forest which is not the correct environment for most of these animals.
· He does have tarantulas, a flock of deer and sea horses though. They make him very happy.
· In Dead By Daylight, he is the Trapper and the Wraith’s love child.
· He loves to make himself numb through the cold. He’s been found countless times with his shoes and socks off, his pants rolled up to his knees, his tie gone and his button unbuttoned a bit with his feet in the lake in the dead of winter (And those are only the times Splender has caught him). At these times, he is genuinely peaceful and happy. He loves to sit there and just enjoy all the sensations around him. The pain melting into numb warmth on his feet and calves, the rustling of the trees around him, the wind on his skin…
· Its oddly childish. His one childish thing.
· He can tell what the weather is going to be like for the day by breathing in the air in the morning.
· He’s deeply connected with the forest he lives in.
Assorted thoughts on “Little Women”
In no particular order.
*I’m glad I waited this long to read the original, unabridged novel. If I had read it as a teen or a preteen, I just might have followed countless girl readers’ example of having a crush on Laurie and being angry that Jo doesn’t marry him. Reading it now, I’m able to see him as the well-rounded, likable yet flawed character he is, not just as a girl’s prize, and realize that while he and Jo have a beautiful friendship, they wouldn’t have worked as a couple. The canon pairings of Jo/Friedrich and Amy/Laurie are the right ones.
*About the controversial issue of the characters’ ambitions... None of the young leads achieve their childhood dreams in the end; Alcott’s intended message was clearly “We don’t always achieve our dreams, but life can still be happy in ways we never expected.” That’s all well and good. But apart from Meg’s gender-neutral dream of being rich, the characters’ “castles in the air” are all in defiance of their expected gender roles: Jo wants to be a famous author and Amy a famous artist, two fields normally reserved for men, while Laurie wants to be a composer instead of going into his grandfather’s business. And all three of their endings are distinctly more gender-conforming: Jo becomes a schoolmistress, Amy becomes a society lady, both become wives and mothers, and Laurie goes into business “like a man.” I think it’s fair for modern readers to be disappointed by that conformity, even while appreciating the realistic message about childhood dreams. Those feelings aren’t mutually exclusive. For modern audiences, I think the standard adaptational change of Jo publishing her own version of Little Women at the end (instead of 20 years later in the last sequel) is a good change.
*About Jo needing to control her temper... I understand why this annoys some feminists. So often women are expected to suppress all anger and never stand up for themselves. Maybe it is problematic that role model Marmee explicitly never shows her anger, but only purses her lips and leaves the room. But personally, I think it’s presented in a healthy, gender-neutral way. Jo’s anger isn’t a problem because it’s “unseemly” or “unfeminine,” but because it can lead her to do cruel things to others. The mistake that teaches her the lesson in “Jo Meets Appolyon,” letting Amy skate on the thin ice, isn’t a loud, aggressive act of rage, but a cold, silent act (or rather inaction) of spite. Besides “control your temper” doesn’t mean “never stand up for yourself.” The book has several examples of women calmly yet firmly calling out other people’s bad behavior (most often Laurie’s ^–^) and it’s portrayed as entirely right. And though it’s tempting to be annoyed by Mr. March putting his finger to his lips when he sees his wife starting to get angry, it’s also a nice subversion of gender stereotypes to see a marriage where the husband is gentler by nature than his wife and is a calming influence on her. Stereotypical couples are the other way around.
*As a person on the autism spectrum, I relate strongly to Beth. I fully embrace the headcanon that Beth herself is autistic and that Lizzie Alcott might have been diagnosed as such if she had lived today. So it hurts a little to see other readers call Beth “boring,” “annoying,” a “doormat” and “the worst of the sisters.” Although she is idealized because she was Alcott’s tribute to her dead little sister, she’s not the cardboard cutout of bland feminine virtue she’s so often been stereotyped as being. It’s clear from the start that Beth isn’t “normal,” either by our standards or by past ones. Her crippling shyness isn’t just “sweet Victorian modesty,” but portrayed as a real flaw that she struggles to overcome. She’s been homeschooled because as a child her social anxiety made regular school unbearable for her. She still plays with dolls, believes in Santa Claus and has imaginary friends at age 13. She has no desire to get married, or to have any kind of career, or ever to leave her parents’ house. And because of all this, she clearly has a low opinion of herself: hence she tells Jo that she was never meant to live long, because she would never have been anything but “stupid little Beth, trotting about at home.” But the narrative belies her words. In both of her illnesses, so many people rally around her and reveal how much they love her and how valuable her quiet kindness has been in their lives. Ultimately she dies in peace because she realizes her life hasn’t been worthless after all. With my own social struggles, my tendency to be “younger than my years,” and my own desire to have a quiet life close to my family instead of going out into the big, overwhelming world and doing big, overwhelming things, I find her storyline beautiful, because it gives me hope that my life is just as valuable as anyone else’s.
*I also relate to Jo, as so many readers do. The result is that I’m of two minds of the chapters “Calls” and “Consequences.” On the one hand, there’s no doubt that Jo is at fault in those chapters and does more-or-less deserves to lose the trip to Europe. She’s genuinely, purposefully rude to her aunts and to the other people they visit and she humiliates Amy and harms her social life – at the subsequent fair, the Chesters ban Amy from the art table because Jo insulted them. Plus the only reason why she has to join Amy in the calls in the first place is because she promised she would, so it’s hypocritical of her to whine about it. But on the other hand, I do empathize with Jo. With my own my social difficulties, I relate to her hating formal occasions where she has to dress up, mind her manners, make small talk about topics that don’t interest her with people she dislikes, and always be “agreeable” and “docile.” For Jo and for so many of us, it’s so hard to be that way, yet it’s the mold that all women were expected to stuff themselves into in the 19th century and to an extent still are today. Amy is lucky that she enjoys playing that social game and that it comes naturally to her. So it’s easy to sympathize with Jo’s envy when Amy is chosen to go to Europe, to feel as if Amy is rewarded for her social conformity while Jo is punished for failing to conform, and to feel as if the message is that all girls should conform like Amy. Fortunately, the book as a whole doesn’t send that message: even Amy achieves her ultimate happiness by letting herself be a bit more like Jo and call Laurie out on his laziness and apathy, when back in “Calls” she had argued that a lady should never show disapproval to a man.
*I don’t understand why some commentators think the chapter “On the Shelf” is so horribly sexist. Well, actually, I do. It’s tempting to find fault with John for being “jealous” that Meg is focusing more on their babies than on him and for “neglecting” Meg and spending carefree evenings out while she slaves away with the twins. And for Meg to be told by her mother that this is her own fault for “neglecting her duty to her husband” understandably rankles some feminists. But I honestly don’t think there’s any real problem. Meg genuinely neglects John and overtaxes herself by devoting every waking minute to the twins and letting neither John nor anyone else help her, because she’s afraid that otherwise she’ll be a bad mother. John isn’t jealous of the babies, he understandably feels ignored and useless. Nor (despite what some critics think) does he cheat on Meg, or want to. He just goes to a friend’s house rather than sit alone at home; Meg’s fear that his eye is roving to Mrs. Scott is just a product of her own stress. The resolution is arguably just the opposite of sexist: Meg finally lets John take an equal share of child-rearing duties, lets Hannah babysit often so they can both have time for themselves too, and steps out of her domestic sphere to share talks with John about politics, literature, etc. By the end of the chapter, their marriage is more egalitarian than ever.
*I’d like to read a fanfic where Jo meets Rodolfo from La Bohéme. I wouldn’t ship them, since they’re even more “too much alike” than Jo and Laurie are, but I’d like to see them meet. They’re both lively, passionate, temperamental ENFP writers, whose minds are full of “castles in the air” (they both use that exact phrase), yet whose lives both turn out differently than they had hoped, although Jo’s outcome is much happier. Both also adore a sweet, gentle, sickly young girl (Jo’s sister Beth/Rodolfo’s love interest Mimí) whose death they both regard as the end of their own youth. Furthermore, both of their authors modeled them after themselves. Jo is more down-to-earth than Rodolfo, though, and I’m not sure if they’d be friends or hate each other – Jo would definitely be indignant to learn how Rodolfo emotionally abused and broke up with Mimí because he couldn’t bear to watch her die, when she herself nursed Beth day and night through both of her illnesses and never left her side. But it would be an interesting meeting.
Helloooo I am now incoherently screaming about Hiroto and Famous. can please get uhhh 6, 19, 20, 21, 24, and uhh 33 for the blaseball asks? <3
ARENT WE ALL FCVK god i think abt them contstantly its terminal
send me a number from this post!
6. storyline you keep coming back to again and again (e.g. mike townsend arc, jaylen hotdogfingers’ resurrection, snackrifice, tillman henderson’s return)
i dont know if this fully counts, like i wasnt here for a lot of the TDE stuff but i think the biggest is maybe aldon's vaulting and our lore of vis replicas?? OH also god famous.... famous pitched our first death way back in s3, and they pitched our first ambush, our first return. they pitched the gods spitting on us and incinerating plums in front of us. famous goddamn owens, here for death, here for undeath, smiling through it all.
19. a headcanon somebody else convinced you of
hmm this is hard.... BLASEBALL IS ALL HEADCANON... i think the biggest thing is lit...everything abt moody cookbook moody my beloody.... moody living on, in part, as part of the storm that is landry violence, living on in hiroto's earring, in a stone dunlap owns, in fish, in meng. bits and pieces and not quite complete, but still they live. still they watch. not even waiting for their own return, no, that's too selfish. and yet we came anyway. (hello moody)
20. stupid character lore concept that lives in your head rent free
where does rigby fall on this... like hesa a cute lil goldfish who's trapped in a cube of water, has 28 fuckign stars and killed poseidon. rigby friedrich, godkiller, tired, unrepentant. cute lil goldfish.
if not... im not sure bcus if u mean stupid as in rly silly theres not so many because i like crying LMAO oh im planning to submit an irm where famous is just a bitch ass raccoon who keeps showing up to games (already on wiki) and lottie the name of this tiny baby racoon who started showing after famous came back after a long disappearance. no one knows where they come from but famous is protective of lottie despite lottie constantly biting people and running around and fucking shit up. its very cute! and very dumb! i think lottie should be allowed a lil irm nonsense, as a treat.
21. really good character lore concept that lives in your head rent free
OH FUCK shit shiiit okay. i automatically am a lil soft for anything thats a being bigger than this existence folding itself up for or because of blaseball- moody, ren, my hc lottie, kinda landry are def part of this. oh gloria bugsnax, esp this fic on ao3? absolutely one of my favorite things. im also obssessed with nicholas mora, the stars and his little froggy son and how he unobtrusively plays a part in the way the stars have unfolded, not due to power or ability, but because he knows this story already and yet here he is, trapped like a fucking pleb like the rest of us
also i like carcinization
24. what’s the most Hiatus Brain thing you’ve done so far this siesta?
idk if this counts but ive been making a truly godawful amount of blaseball art this past couple of weeks. its fucking ridicoulous. i wANT TO WRITE THOUGH
33. favorite aspect of blaseball
ngl i think this is an old thing, but creatively, i greatly enjoy having a very loose canon to play with- i need to consume media to get into it, but i have so much freedom to play w appearances and nuances its a lot of fun. i think coming together to brainrot together is quite fun, and a close second is like...fucking w this splort as a sport with other fans
♔ MY NAVIGATION ♔
0.5 TYPES OF REQUESTS I WRITE:
One-shots (1k words or more)
Drabbles (below 1k words)
Headcanons (bullet point fics)
Blurbs (below 500 words)
Imagines (gif + a little blurb, around 500 words)
1.0 RULES:
Request via ask.
Always include what type of request you want me to write.
Specify because specification is very important as it helps me make your request as pleasing as possible, but try not to be too specific as I like the element of surprise.
If you want me to write something from my prompt list (click here): include the name of said character, category of the prompt and the prompt’s respective number (e.g. Jay Halstead, fluff 7).
1.1 Note: If you don't include what type of request it is that you want me to cook up, I will choose the type myself so don't come at me if you wanted a 2K worded piece of work and instead got an imagine with 200 words!
1.2 Note: Mixing the prompt with a plot line of your own is allowed, just make sure to follow the rules (1-3).
1.5 THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
Unless asked for, I will be writing with the Female!reader in mind (I like to exclude any gender relation and make it so that both genders could read and enjoy).
I respond to asks when the request has been qued to post and released on Ao3.
The maximum number of request you can send is 2. I know there is an option to send them in anonymously, but I really hope you will stick to this rule. Give others a chance to submit their wishes, and don’t make the line too big with by mass requesting (I close requests after I get around 30 requests).
Requests sent during seasons I have not watched or for characters that have yet to make an appearance in the show will not be written (exceptions exist).
I write one-shots but not a whole series unless I can see/want a continuation.
Themed requests (Christmas, Valentine's Day, New Year etc.) can be only sent during that time. I don’t accept Christmas requests during the month of May. The same goes for the rest.
I have every right to delete every request that does not fit within the rules stated above, or I feel uncomfortable writing. Also, it’s important to note that I don’t have inspiration to write every request that’s sent. It’s normal to not have inspiration, and because I prefer quality to quantity, if I see that I don’t have inspiration for a request then I will not write it.
Requests will be deleted if sent while my request box is closed. I won’t answer them as I feel like there is no need. On almost every informative post (+my bio, and if you’re on PC my theme under ‘blog status’) it will say whether the request box is closed or not.
English is not my first language but without digging myself my own grave this early on I want to say that I'm proud of how much I know, given that I never speak English unless in school.
Be nice because only constructive criticism is allowed. If you spot a grammatical error or a paragraph/sentence/word etc. that doesn't make sense, let me know. But be nice!
2.0 THINGS I DON’T WRITE:
LGBTQ+ topics/relationships (because I feel like I wouldn’t do a good job)
Real people, send only requests for characters in my writing list
Ships or OC, send only reader inserts
NSFW (mature content stories)
Noncon
Dark!fics
Romanticized mental illnesses
S*icide scenes
R*pe scenes
Racism/slurs
2.1 Note: P*dophilia, r*pe, s*icide might be mentioned in my Chicago P.D, Fire, Med shots (or other), but I will never explicitly write about those subjects or write about anything that is about/centered around them.
2.2 Note: Explicitly written smut is a no, I will not write that. Try to refrain from requesting steamy scenes too, as I will only put them in myself were I to deem it necessary for the WIP.
2.5 THINGS I DO WRITE:
Angst
Fluff/ WAFF
Fusion/ Crossover
Daughter/Wife/Sister!Reader
Here is me trying to explain what kind of requests I also take [x]
2.6 Note: It’s hard to list but to make it easier for you guys, I will write about almost anything as long as it’s not on my 2.0 bullet.
3.0 POSTING SCHEDULE:
Posts are usually posted between 01:00 A.M. and 05:00 A.M. CET (Central European Time).
Check schedule to see what's been qued to post.
3.1 Note: This account is NOT my work place. Everything here is written when I have time and I feel like writing. Requests that I find more interesting will most likely be written and qued to post sooner. I advise you to follow my blog, check regularly and sit tight until you see that it's qued. You can always check my navigation page and click on 'schedule'. Or simply click here.
3.2 Note: I am not a doctor nor a firefighter nor a policeman. I research whatever I can before I start writing and sometimes that takes hours. Nothing is 100% accurate (especially for events set in Chicago Med) although I hope it is.
3.5 WRITING LIST:
3.6 Note: Requests are currently OPEN for all fandoms!!!
3.7 Note: Your requests do not have to be strictly romantic (Sibling!Reader or other are also (obviously) allowed).
Do you have any pregnancy headcanons for our lw? Like, what would be their weird cramp? Or would they get overly emotional, angry, horny XD???
This is both canon and modern au headcanons.
Meg-
I can see Meg getting rather emotional, crying at the littlest of things. Beth poked herself on a needle? Tears galore. Was given flowers by John? Sobs so hard she could fill a room. Sees a little kid crying? Practically has a breakdown because no child should ever cry ever! (In the modern au, I see Meg being extremely emotional because she had already suffered two miscarriages and is very careful and worried about the third one going wrong, but thankfully it doesn’t). John was incredibly patient and tender with her feelings, knowing that she was feeling for two, or in this case, for three. It comes in good practice for him as when the twins are born, he has to be prepared to deal with not only one but two babies who can’t verbalize what they are feeling quite yet.
Food craving: Strawberries, especially with a sprinkle of sugar on them.
Jo-
Her hormones go rampant when pregnant in a way she had never felt before, and pretty much, Jo is rather horny. It started off normal, just their usual nights together and flirting, but as the months go on, Jo just gets these overwhelming urges to grab Friedrich and have her way with him. Not that Friedrich has really complained, well, he had to put his foot down a few times. "Heart's dearest, if I could make a profession of being your lover all day and night, I would, but I have a job, and frankly, my love, you are wearing me out," he adds with a laugh and a kiss. This doesn’t just happen during her first pregnancy, but also in her second, which Friedrich, being the trooper he is, happily gives into his wife’s needs.
Food craving: Pretzels. (And I looked it up, they were first made in 1861, so I see Friedrich being the one to introduce Jo to pretzels and her being so hooked on them even back then.)
Amy-
She is usually pretty level headed and can handle whatever ridiculous shenanigans Laurie gets up to, but with the pregnancy, her fuse seems to have gotten shorter and she can get irritated easily. Not irrational, you know, like shoes being off an inch or crumbs on the table, but more like, his music laying around where she could easily ruin them or her asking him to do something but he forgets to do it. Laurie at first isn’t sure of what to make of Amy’s moods, knowing her to be reasonable and, honestly, he never encountered a pregnant woman who acted this way, so he is very clueless on what to do. One day, after a long talk with each other, Laurie does whatever he can to make things better for her, like remembering to put his music away properly, or rubbing her shoulders to help her body be at more ease, and to both their delight, her irritability goes down.
Food craving: Tomatoes. She was never a huge fan of them before, but suddenly, she wants them all the time.
1, 17, and 29?
1. If someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, or listen to?
Read: PG Wodehouse's Jeeves and Wooster stories - they're where I got my url, after all. Elizabeth Gaskell's North and South. Frances Hodgson Burnett's A Little Princess. Lewis Mumford's The City in History. WB Yeats' Irish Fairy and Folk Tales. Dorothy L Sayers' Gaudy Night. Neal Stephenson's Anathem. Amor Towles' A Gentleman in Moscow.
Watch: QI, Endeavour, Whose Line is it Anyway, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, Hot Fuzz, Kingsman, Atonement
Listen: Cabin Pressure - this perhaps should be in "watch" but it's a radio show, so I'll be pedantic. Au fond du temple saint, better known as the Pearl Fishers duet. The World in 1984 by Shearwater. Call It Dreaming by Iron and Wine. Diana Krall's version of What Are You Doing New Year's Eve. Friedrich Gulda's Concerto for Cello and Wind Band Ii: Idylle. Something There from Beauty and the Beast. The Skye Boat Song. Mairi's Wedding by the High Kings. Mystery (Living Room Sessions) by Michael Logen.
God, I'm leaving so much out, but that'll have to do.
17. Would you say your tumblr is a fair representation of the real you?
In some ways, yes - certainly in aesthetic and appreciation of terrible jokes. In others, not at all - I often deliberately avoid reblogging things related to politics because while I see quite a lot of it on my dash and don't mind that overmuch, I also find it exhausting. I'm fine with my own tumblr being something of a safe oasis. It's hard enough to manage mental health these days.
Another way my tumblr doesn't quite accurately reflect me is that I'm nearly always thinking about and discussing meta and fic. My writing mojo has rather resoundingly abandoned me, so there's very little external evidence of this, but I have a lot of fic ideas, headcanons, analysis, trope discussion, theorizing, and other general screaming going on at any given moment. (Speaking of which - if any of my followers enjoy the Peter Wimsey novels, slide in my DMs IMMEDIATELY. I don't have any friends who have read them and I feel bad for constantly dumping feels on people who don't care lmao.)
29. Already answered!
Marcus/Camille headcanons pt2
Because I'm bored and have new ideas idk if some of these are like the headcanons from pt1
@wagner-fell (?)
Marcus is always in charge of cutting Camille's hair
And by always I mean always, they'd be seventy and still Marcus would appear on Camille's bedroom door with his scissors every door
When Marcus died, getting his hair cut was very painful for Camille
Listen, they're two huge marujas, they love to gossip
When Marcus is away because, I mean, he needs to work, he always finds the juiciest gossip to write to Marcus. Like so:
Dear Camille,
Remember General Averill Longhorn invited me to his mansion in Chiswick two months ago? Well, I unfortunately couldn't hold on accepting the proposal: I write you this missive from my bedro in Longhorn Mansion.
I have information that will interest you.
Miss Claudia Longhorn, Coronel Longhorn's oldest daughter, is engaged to Herr Friedrich von Werther. Do you remember Herr Werther, who was once engaged to Agnes? He's now a shriveled, old man who only wanted to talk about Agnes upon realising who I was (he also wanted to talk about how very little I was the last time he saw me and how I'd use to sit on his lap, but let's not dwell on a conversation that made me so uncomfortable). Miss Claudia Longhorn certainly doesn't deserve to wed such a man --and by all means she agrees with me!
I've been able to befriend her (she's around our age), and nay ten minutes ago, she confessed to me she already has a beloved she plans to elope with to Scotland! Camille, I find this so very interesting, especially since Miss Longhorn has decided I am to help her reunite with her beloved every day, and then, help her elope with him. The following night, I am to meet this beloved of hers, I will update you on everything that goes on, as I know you will be extremely curious.
Hoping to return to you in a fortnight,
M.W.
Likewise, Camille would write Marcus about everything that went on in the village near their house
I don't think I've talked about that village? It's basically where Camille spends most of his days (especially when Marcus or Aaron and Sydney are away) and let me tell you he's popular, because he likes to help the mayor and just help around the village
The old women from the village absolutely love him. To begin with, two of them have proposed he marries one of their granddaughters (to the village people, Camille is just Marcus's rOoMmAtE and therefore completely eligible). But anyways, Camille has breakfast with the old women often because they know all the gossip and they're willing to tell that to him
Ofc when Camille comes back to his house, he rushes to write every piece of gossip to Marcus
Listen, when Marcus returns? When I tell you they're soulmates it's because they're soulmates
Without fault they will run to each other and embrace as if their life depended on it and then reserve the next two days entirely for each other, they only separate to sleep
The servantry there had a hard time believing they were actually not in (romantic) love and same goes for Sydney, Aaron, and literally everyone that knows them
BUT DO YOU KNOW WHO NEVER THOUGHT THEY WERE ANYTHING BUT BROS???
Camille's brother Laurie
I haven't talked about Laurie, and ik this is about Marcus/Camille, BUT I love Laurie. He's a year older than Camille, aro and in a qpr (technically not a qpr because it was the 1800s and the term didn't exist) with a guy he travels around the world with
Camille came out pretty late (?) to Laurie because either he was in Loporto or partying nonstop with his best friend for the past forever, but when Camille came out to him and explained what Marcus was to him, Laurie was so happy someone else in his family had a relationship like his
Did Camille's coming out led to an hours-long conversation about how much Camille loved Marcus and Laurie loved his best friend? Yes, indeed
Anyways, back to Marcus/Camille
Marcus is in an eternal hunt for books for Camille
Ojo, Camille is no different, only that he likes to buy Marcus clothes. Seriously, he's singlehandedly making the village's tailor rich what with the sheer number of orders he has
Marcus really appreciates the gesture, even though he has absolutely no space left in his wardrobe
Camille just likes to have his husband look handsome that sometimes backfires because Marcus is a heartbreaker without wanting to
