Got curious about how large a house you can make in MTaS so I just started stacking full sized rooms. (NO clue what happened, but my cutscene bug has run its course and my save is all good.)

Seven floors. You can legit have an entire mansion. Or a tower, in my case, just as a demonstration.

I'm trying to make a house that looks nice, but this is not it. Just a start to get enough beds for everyone currently living in the place.

Gotta account for four bedrooms, in the end. Three kids and the parents. Maybe a fifth room for Haru, if he ever gets to come back and decides he doesn't want to live in an empty house.

omg. this is 1000000% not in sequence. and i do try to always stick to the same session of play.

BUT OMFG I DL REALISTIC SWIMMING AND ONE OF THEM DROWNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i quit w/o saving. i dl-ed the mod and didn't read anything about it!!! it was traumatising. but also cool how she just floats down and away.

swimming lessons all around are required!!

also i broke another 100 babies rule bc this is how i get to 100. freebuild mode and using it to delete the house i dl-ed when i failed at creating my own in sulani. i don't remember who made it....but thank you, it served me well

deleting the house gave me loads of much needed money. i need to take a bunch away before it gets boring that she doesn't need anything bc she is so rich.

so i spent literally days finding a new house. everyone went to the sulani bar so we could get some sim sperm.

BUT WHILE I WAS FLIRTING MY CHILD DIED!?!?!

no. i cannot accept that!! and she only died bc i put a mod in and didn't see how it worked prior. idc if she did die. it was a fluke based on my lack of research.

it also took me hours and hours to get the inside to my liking. i find the layout confusing!

i made a weird cement catwalk thingy and continued using free build mode to get hydroponic planters so they need less attention. i don't actually know if it will work. idk what to do w/all my plants when the lot and the house size are the same. i need at least 20 planters!!! i cannot create the space w/o scrubfowl a big part of the design?

Was anyone else just generally disappointed with Sixam? Like hey... my sim spent all this time and money to find out where the aliens come from and we get... what? An empty planet with a landing pad? I expected there to at least be a nightclub! Maybe a nice restaurant Milliway's style? Now, I realize that with freebuild you can build on Sixam... but come on! I feel like EA should have given us something right off the bat. Vacations to Sixam! Residential lots! Something.

I spent around 12 hours over the last few days making a new house for the Highlighters. Instead of freebuilding like I normally do, I tried using a house plan because I feel like they turn out better. I used this floor plan specifically.

I did mess up the front patio by forgetting to add an extra space until I was done decorating. Not the worst mistake, but I'd definitely push it back if I ever redid the house.

I built this place on a 64x64 expecting to use a big chunk of it. Turns out I didn't need it, so I made a pond in the back with Vincent, Cedrick and Tweedledum's graves on it.

There's still a LOT of space left on the lot, even after I added a bunch of playground stuff for Mauve and Lucky. But I ran out of money and couldn't fully decorate it so they're just kinda sitting there. ='D

i just went into a freebuild minecraft server that was clearly homophobic but the only thing they had in their rukes was "no Sexuality flags" so i built the trans flag which is. Gender flag right. then i said i never broke any rules this isnt a sexuality flag and then they were like. ugh no sexuality or gender flags and i was like ok! and then i built the aromantic flag which is a romantic indenitity flag and they banned that too so they went UGH no LGBT flags so i built the ace flag and went it's not lgbt :) its a :) its an lgbtqia flag :) and they went kys and banned me

I went for it and yeah, this is just the optimal way for me to play this game. I don't mind opting for freebuild and no death because it's still fun to roleplay like I'm an actual spaceship crash survivor. Just needed to take like half an hour to set up a bitching base camp first.

Why do I low key wanna start a fresh subnautica playthrough on whatever gamemode gets rid of dying. (I think it's just creative mode at that point.... Maybe?) Like I never finished the game on my full survival playthrough and i kinda miss the exploration and base building.
