I think I've said this before, but once Lena decides she's joining the Superfriends on the street, I think she would want to up her martial arts skills. Like she has self defense skills, probably krav maga training. But I think she might get into something more offensive.
I also like the idea of her getting into free running and/or parkour. I think she'd acknowledge the need for stamina, and also the need to traverse the city more creatively. And then once she starts, she likes the challenge and the outlet to push herself and return to her jock origins.

‼️ Introduction Post ‼️
Hello, I’m Andrea (she/her) !!!
I honestly have not used Tumblr since elementary/middle school and I am now 21 years of age lol. There was a time where I was heavily invested in fandom stuff, but I loss touch with it all over time. When Agatha All Along came out, it somehow reminded me of my old fandom days (not sure how to explain it). When I was younger I was interested in fandoms like SuperWhoLock, Arrowverse, The Vampire Diaries, Skins (UK), Teen Wolf, and Pretty Little Liars! This blog doesn’t really have a theme, it’s just here as an outlet for stuff I enjoy and I’ll likely do more reblogging than making content.
Notes: I use lots of exclamation marks, I love women, and I probably watch too many movies.
Below, you will find my general interests, but I can guarantee this isn’t close to all of them. Feel free to message me (I’m a loser lesbian with minimal friends so I’m borderline begging hahahahahahaha)!!!
Favorite Shows:
Agatha All Along - The Vampire Diaries - Doctor Who - The Sandman - Supergirl - Arrow - Titans - Smallville - The Haunting of Bly Manor - Fallout - Community - Daredevil - Jessica Jones - The Defenders - Wandavision - Loki - X-Men ‘97 - It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia - Teen Wolf - Clone Wars - Batman: The Animated Series - Batman Beyond - Bridgerton - My Adventures With Superman

(Superhero content separated due to the fact that I am a huge nerd and I’ve invested too much time in these things…)
DC (Live-Action): The Batman - Superman: The Movie - Birds of Prey - Zack Snyder’s Justice League - Superman Returns - The Dark Knight Trilogy - The Suicide Squad - Watchmen (Director’s Cut)
DC (Animated): Batman Ninja - Batman: Under The Red Hood - Teen Titans: The Judas Contract - Catwoman: Hunted - Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Trilogy - Constantine: City of Demons - Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox - Justice League Dark - Wonder Woman: Bloodlines - Batman: Soul of the Dragon
Marvel (Live-Action): X-Men: First Class - Logan - Guardians of the Galaxy 2 - Avengers: Age of Ultron - The Amazing Spiderman - The New Mutants - Deadpool - Black Panther -
(Note: I’ve grown up heavily biased towards DC due to the Arrowverse + animated movies and I honestly only collect DC comics. That being said, I still have a deep love for Marvel, mainly the X-Men and Defenders shows. I’ve watched all the movies and shows, with the exception of Secret Invasion…)
Favorite Ships:

Other Miscellaneous Interests I’d Like to Mention:
Collecting vinyls, movies (preferably blu-rays), and dolls/figures or other merch related to my interests - handheld gaming devices (I have two 3DS’s, a Gameboy, a PSP 2000, and mysterious one from a thrift store. Hoping to grow the collection.) - movie theaters - journaling/scrapbooking - card tricks (I’m really bad at them but I wanted to make use of my 30+ playing card decks) - former Magic: The Gathering player (I don’t play competitively, just with friends) - poetry? (mostly for personal venting. not very good…) - reading & writing fanfiction (I’ve created outlines for several different stories but haven’t finished writing anything tbh. The second I do, I will likely post about it.)
Congrats, you’ve made it to the end!
I apologize for the length of this. I just wanted to make sure my interests were clear because I am hoping to make friends via Tumblr. I thank you deeply if you’ve taken time to read through this entire thing. Again, feel free to message me (please)!

hi! I hope you’re doing good and I was wondering if you can cast your mutuals as The Pacific men, women characters too? based off of their personalities? hope this isn’t too much to ask! anyways, have a good day!
hello! it's not too much to ask, i can definitely try to do that!
burgie → @im-chinese-believe-it-or-not this was the first one that popped into my head immediately!! you have burgie's soft caring side where you wanna look after all your friends/mutuals and make sure everyone is okay and feels Seen and heard and validated!! and i feel like you have that warmth and stabilising effect that burgie has on the boys too... when you're not around my dash feels slightly off! but you also know when to be firm and shut things down when people interact with you or others in bad faith! you're not a pushover at all and will stand up for the right thing even if it means you have to put on your "shut up bill" voice. i feel like you spread happiness and safe vibes in the same way that burgie does!
eddie → @hellofanidea because i feel like you have a lot of depth and i just feel like we'd have interesting conversations all the time and you're the kind of person whose brain i want to pick about random topics. you seemed like a Cool Online Person when we first became mutuals but it turned out you're actually super approachable and easy to talk to and eddie definitely feels similar in that way!
sledge → @theflyingfin because you're smart and always interesting to talk to! like eugene, you're open with how you feel about things and you just give me sledge vibes sometimes but not naive!sledge vibes but sledge who has seen some things y'know?
snafu → @aegondluvrs bc 99% of our first conversation revolved around svt and enha's teeth (rightly so) and you definitely have snafu's brand of chaos! also: if snafu was a carat in 2023 he too would have a folder dedicated to lee jihoon's teeth, we're not alone!
sid → my good friend @footprintsinthesxnd! i feel like i'm copying the quiz we did but it honestly felt really accurate to me because you're a literal sweetheart and one of the kindest people around but you're also way more than just that.. you're a great friend and always so supportive when anything has happened, and you're funny and witty in the same understated way that sid is. people probably think you're shy and quiet at first but that absolutely changes when you become friends with them. we have the best conversations and i'm genuinely so glad to have you in my life!!
leckie x lena hybrid → @lewis-winters look, i know i talk all the time about how annoying leckie is, so let me first of all say that i'm not including any of the annoying parts of his personality here... but you do have a similar charismatic intelligence thing going on.. y'know, the type of person you know you would always enjoy having a conversation with no matter what the topic is and whose opinion you would always be interested in hearing on just about anything. lena comes in with that aspect too, but you also have her enigmatic vibes, the kind that makes people wanna be friends with you!
runner → @ep6bastogne bc your posts make me laugh a ton and you're chill but also not at the same time? which is how i feel runner is too.. like he jokes around and winds leckie up and is silly af but he also gives off chill drama free vibes idk like i just feel like you're both the type of friend i would want in my life y'know?
chuckler → @lamialamia because our conversations are either about something ridiculous like sledge's ass flash and leckie's sex scenes or they're about the devastation of war and losing ack ack and eddie or something equally as terrible lmao you feel very balanced to me in that way and i think chuckler is like that too.. hilarious and jokes around but also serious when you need to be! kinda the perfect mix you would want in a friend or mutual!
vera → @hxad-ovxr-hxart because you're very funny but also very sweet! and you have vera vibes (warm and kind but witty vibes!!) and i feel like you're very approachable in the same way vera is too!
sorry if this didn't live up to your expectations anon!! this was a lot of fun to think about though!
#there were a few people who i wanted to tag as hoosier and ack ack and some others but i don't know them well enough so chickened out#sorry i didn't do everyone#i got shy half way through answering#mutuals#julian's inbox

'Cheats, hucksters and ambulance chasers': Dallas injury firm faces lawsuit from rival
HOUSTON - Personal injury lawyers are fighting over a client with a car-wreck case, with one firm accusing the other of a pattern of unethical conduct that has caused it to be sued multiple times.
The Parks Law Firm and Clyde Parks, of Dallas, are accused of filing a fraudulent lawsuit in Montgomery County on behalf of Rosa and Karina Espinosa.
The Asafi Law Firm sued Parks and others for legal malpractice March 4 in Harris County District Court.
Asafi says it took on the Espinosas as clients in 2023 and filed their suit in Harris County in February but things otherwise have not gone smoothly.
"Defendants maliciously and intentionally perpetrated an elaborate scheme of fraud and deception by falsely representing to Karina Espinosa and Rosa Espinosa that they were affiliated with or authorized by Plaintiff Asafi Law Firm," the complaint against Parks says.
"Defendants deceptively induced these vulnerable clients into signing unauthorized and illegal contracts, blatantly exploiting their trust and reliance on Plaintiff's reputation and goodwill."
In 2021, Parks was reprimanded by the Chief Disciplinary Counsel for improperly soliciting clients through Exclusive Legal Marketing, offering compensation to non-lawyers to drum up clients.
Also named as a defendant in Asafi's case is K. Romero Law, which responded to Asafi's allegations on Feb. 28.
It says K. Romero and Parks lawfully represent the Espinosas.
"Your accusations have prompted an internal review, and we welcome any additional information you believe substantiates your claims," Kristopher Romero and Parks wrote.
"However, absent concrete evidence, these allegations appear entirely unsubstantiated.
"Be advised that any further attempts to harass, threaten or otherwise interfere with our lawful representation of Karina and Rosa Espinosa will be met with swift and appropriate legal recourse."
Asafi's lawsuit lists several cases against Parks to try to prove its point.
Though light on the details of the alleged poaching of the clients, Asafi does say it was shut out of settlement funds from USAA that it was owed.
Asafi also calls Romero and Parks "cheats, hucksters and ambulance chasers."
"Defendants intentionally targeted vulnerable individuals, exploiting their distress to induce them into signing improper contingency fee agreements that are void and unenforceable under Texas law," the suit says.
Rosa Espinosa signed a contract with Parks on March 2, 2023. A day earlier, J.A. Asafi had notified an insurer involved that he represented the Espinosas, claiming he had signed the Espinosas on Feb. 28, 2023.
Nearly two years went by before Romero and Parks filed the Espinosas' suit in Montgomery County on Jan. 23. Asafi claims there were "secret settlement discussions" with USAA all along.
A release of claims against USAA was signed Feb. 18 of this year, a month after Romero and Parks filed their suit.
Parks Law was accused of illegally soliciting business by Lena Grace Fuller after a "catastrophic" auto accident in 2019.
She says she was recovering in a hospital when she received an unsolicited phone call from case runner for the firm.
Parks Law fought the allegations for years before settling in 2023.
While the case was pending, the Chief Disciplinary Counsel and Parks agreed to a public reprimand over his solicitation of Marcia Wallace and Tes'chelle Watkins, who had filed complaints.
The two also filed suit against Parks in Tarrant County.
Similar suits in Smith County brought by Jamel Cooper and Caleb Motinwo have also been settled.

faceclaim: emma dumont triggers/warnings: any warnings pertaining to the show itself.
pinterest board | spotify playlist
PROLOUGE

lena hawke crouched behind the crumbling remains of a brick wall, her breath steady and focused. the distant sound of the infected's haunting cries echoed through the abandoned streets, a grim reminder of the world they now lived in. she glanced at the bloodstained machete in her hand, its weight both comforting and deadly. she was alone, separated from ellie and dina during a desperate escape from a horde of runners. the memories of their last stand flashed through her mind—ellie's fierce determination, dina's unwavering courage. they had promised to find each other again, but for now, lena had to survive. a shuffling noise nearby snapped her back to the present. she peered over the wall, her eyes locking onto a lone clicker stumbling through the debris. its grotesque, fungus-covered face twitched as it sniffed the air, searching for any sign of life. lena's grip on the machete tightened, her heart pounding in her chest. she waited, every muscle in her body tensed and ready. the clicker's movements were slow and erratic, giving her a small window of opportunity. she took a silent, steadying breath and rose from her hiding spot, moving with the grace and precision of a predator. in a swift, fluid motion, Lena closed the distance between them. the clicker sensed her presence too late. with a powerful swing, she drove the machete into the creature's skull, silencing its unsettling clicks forever. as the clicker crumpled to the ground, lena pulled the blade free, wiping it clean on the remnants of her jacket. the streets were quiet once more, but the sense of danger was ever-present. lena knew that surviving in this world meant staying vigilant, staying strong. she had to find ellie and dina, and together, they would navigate the shadows of survival, fighting for a future in a world torn apart by darkness.

combat weaknesses
————————————
→ prone to severe exhaustion
lena's reliance on her physical strength can sometimes lead her into situations where she underestimates the importance of strategy and finesse. while her brute force is effective in many scenarios, it can leave her vulnerable to more agile and cunning opponents who can outmaneuver her. second, lena struggles with handling prolonged engagements. her combat style can be intense and aggressive, which can be exhausting over extended periods. In long battles or when faced with multiple waves of adversaries, her stamina can wane, making her less effective and more susceptible to mistakes and fatigue.
stats
————————————
→ stats score
physical strength: 6/10 lena possesses moderate physical strength, allowing her to handle close-quarters combat effectively and perform demanding survival tasks. however, she is not superhuman and must rely on technique and strategy to complement her physical power.

combat skills: 8/10 lena's combat skills are well-honed, thanks to her extensive training and experience. she is proficient with various weapons, including her machete and bow, and has developed a tactical approach to combat. however, her skills are not infallible, and she must remain vigilant to avoid being outmatched by more skilled or numerous adversaries.

She had been practicing.
Maybe that was a bit ridicolous, to be practicing something like yoga. After all, the intention was the absence of self, not the presence of it. Or maybe it was the other way? Either or, Lena still wanted to be the best at the sport ( while missing some of the key elements of the activity, of course ). Still, the gentle burn of calf and thigh muscles was almost relaxing as she pulled the limb over her neck.
Years of being a runner had left Lena limber and loose, capable of keeping up with most of the exercises suggested by the monk. Still, the tedium once she reached the newest position sunk in early, setting a certain impatient tone to the way her eyes blinked open and closed.
"I think I got it. Dunno how I'm going to get outta it, but this is easy!" With her free hand, she reached toward her outstretch leg, feeling the tension flare into a sharp burn as she pushed herself further. "Y'know, I didn't realize 'alf of yoga was just stretching. I do this for cool down every day!"

goldenvibe, frostwave, supercorp, coldflash, harrisco, hartmon and flashwave for ship opinion bingo
So, going ahead to say that since there are a bunch of ships here and I did just get another ask from an anon who also asked for Hartmon, I'm gonna skip that ship here and then answer it as part of the anon ask. 'Cause even with skipping Hartmon, this is gonna get long.
I just ramble so much. ^_^
Goldenvibe:

So I am very intrigued by their dynamic, but since I heavily headcanon Lisa as being aro (or arospec bi) I don't really read romance in their ship. I see them as having a QPR - with or without sex thrown in - and it being very sweet between them which probably scares Lisa a bit about Cisco at first.
On the one hand, Lisa doesn't get nice things so where's that shoe that's gonna drop? When will Cisco prove too good to be true after all? Or will it be that Lisa wrecks things herself and hurts Cisco?
But on the other hand, Lisa deserves nice things and nice people and given enough time she can settle in with Cisco and be happy.
I feel like their dynamic works best as two points in a polycule though, so I'm more likely to go for Hartley/Cisco/Lisa or Kamilla/Cisco/Lisa or so on.
FrostWave:

So if I'm remembering correctly, FrostWave is really Caitlin/Mick and not Killer Frost/Mick, but I'm gonna talk about both.
For Caitlin and Mick, I like the dynamic where she brings out a softer side in him and he brings out more assertive side to her. Caitlin had really retreated into her shell at the start of Season 1 and Mick definitely would act as impetus for her to step out of her comfort zone and really grow beyond the rigid box she'd placed herself in. In turn, Caitlin shows Mick that he doesn't have to put up this front all the time either. He doesn't always have to be the tough guy.
I mean, they do have to get over that whole 'tied Caitlin to a bomb' thing, but I'm sure they can do it.
With Frost and Mick, they've both done things they're not necessarily proud of and they're trying to figure out who they are when they're not being the bad guy. And finding themselves together is kinda poignant. But also they've got the fire and ice thematics with his gun and her powers.
SuperCorp:

Such an OTP for me. The fact that this wasn't made canon is so disappointing. On a show that already had one of the characters have a lesbian coming out story and the show runners ignored the incredible chemistry between Lena and Kara. I don't usually care whether a ship is canon or not, but this is one where I really think they wasted an amazing story opportunity by keeping the characters relationship platonic.
With the enmity between Lex and Clark, there's a bit of a Romeo and Juliet vibe in that Lena and Kara come from two houses at war with each other and find love anyway. Lena needs to be loved for herself so badly - to prove that she's more than just her family. And Kara wants to create a name for herself too, something that stands free of Superman's shadow.
They have this instant connection that only grows stronger over time. And while Kara's fears and secrecy damage things for a while, they come out the other side much more sure of how important they are to each other.
Honestly, by the end of the show they're basically already married. I'll never make it all the way through their ship tag but every so often I make a decent effort at trying. There's just so much and continues to be more every day, even with the show over they're still such an active and beloved ship.
ColdFlash:

If Legends hadn't wasted a perfectly good character by killing Len off, then on the Flash Iris would have been basically sharing Barry with Len. There's just so much chemistry between Barry and Leonard, it's so fascinating.
They were enemies in the original timeline too and Len showing up to monopolize Barry's time made Eobard soooo jealous. They're both such dorks and it's amazing how they can be both dorks in love and enemies to lovers all at the same time. They work together like they were meant to. They both love the thrill of the chase between them and will protect each other even when it's not in their best interests.
These two are just sooo goooooood. And I love to make them just be so silly about each other.
Harrisco:

Took me a while to really get into this ship and now I can't unsee it. I adore them so much.
They start off with having every reason to mistrust each other and become best friends anyway. And then fall in love over time. Like... seeing the way Harry gravitates towards Cisco when they're in the same room, the way Cisco gets so excited to work on things with Harry, the sniping and teasing and easy, happy smiles...
They're married. In season 4 they're just so married.
Harry always making sure that Cisco doesn't make light of his contributions, always so proud of how brilliant Cisco is... and Cisco just wants so badly for Harry to learn to like himself, to see himself as wonderful the way Cisco sees him... They both value each other so much and it's so lovely.
FlashWave:

I really see Len as being what brings Barry and Mick together, whether he's actually there or not. But I feel like the more they spend time together the more Barry would really see Mick, not the front he puts up but the intelligent man behind the dumb muscle facade. And Mick would see that Barry was kinda messed up too in a way that does kinda compliment Mick's issues.
They're both very devoted characters in their own way and what could easily start as trying to find in each other something of what they lost when Len died would become finding something new in each other.
Barry's own affinity for fire, via lightning, would fascinate Mick and Mick's buried romantic side - see all those romance novels Mick wrote - would appeal to Barry's own romantic nature. I kind of feel like they'd be able to explore sides of themselves with each other that they might not feel comfortable doing with others.

Okay, so after last night’s episode I would just like to say that Supercorp IS Endgame. I’d also like to point out the various reasons as to why Kara and Lena are not only soulmates but true twin flames.
For those reading this post who have never heard of the term twin flame: “A twin flame is your own soul, shared across what appears to be two physical beings. It’s one soul, split into two bodies.” -Google’s definition.
For those who are spiritually inclined and have a proclivity for indulging esoteric philosophies; Lena and Kara are ABSOLUTELY twin FUCKING flames 🔥🔥🔥!!
Here are the reasons why:
1. Their drastically different childhoods that resulted in remarkably similar trauma.
Both Kara and Lena have experienced great loss throughout their life. Both mourned the death of their parents, and life as they knew it, at a very early age. Both were shipped off to a foreign land, forced to leave behind everything they knew, in hopes for a brighter/safer future.
Albeit, Lena got the shorter end of the stick in regards to unconditional love, but both were given a second chance and a new start...and yet, they still never fit in, or felt like they truly belonged.
Although they individually have dealt with said trauma in different ways (Lena by pushing away those who try to get too close, and Kara by holding on tightly to those she holds dear) both of their actions are motivated by the same subconscious fear that they HAVE never and WILL never TRULY belong. All while yearning for a sense of “home”.
2. They are opposite reflections of each other; true “mirror souls”, if you will.
Physically, aesthetically, economically, and emotionally—they are complete “mirrors” of one another.
Kara is strong, physically powerful, cut from marble, all hard edges and sharp lines—except for her face. Lena is clearly not as physically powerful, she is soft, all curves, and exudes the grace of the Devine feminine energy—except for her face, which is hard edges and sharp jaw lines. You see what I’m saying?
Aesthetically and economically go hand in hand of course. Lena’s exorbitant wealth is evident in her high-end designer appearance; whereas Kara’s aesthetic is more humble and grounded, and prioritizes comfort over “fashion”. (Let’s admit it. Some of Kara’s fashion choices have been questionable. She clearly rocks the chinos and button-downs better than anything else in that eclectic closet of hers she refuses to come out of 😏)
Emotionally...oh honey. Do I need to say more? I won’t say much but I will say this: Kara is the sun and Lena is the moon. They compliment each other in a way that ensures the world keeps turning.
3. Their individual strengths are the other’s individual weakness and vice versa.
Goes along with the aforementioned “opposite reflection” point above but I’ll expand a bit further in regards to their specific personality traits.
Lena is predominately analytically driven, whereas Kara is emotionally driven. Lena is good in crowds, Kara is not (overwhelmed). Lena is introverted, Kara is extroverted. Lena is detail oriented and has the memory of an elephant, Kara is clumsy and as forgetful as a Pisces (but hey, she has a lot on her plate and barely any free time to balance it). Lena eats like a rabbit-bird-hybrid and Kara eats like a garbage disposal. Kara loves giving and receiving hugs and other forms of physical affection whereas Lena does not (UNLESS it’s from Kara, of course). Etc. Etc. you get the picture.
4. Now this one is the DEAD GIVEAWAY. Undeniable, irrefutable PROOF that Lena and Kara are twin flames.
They are LITERALLY completing what is know as the Twin Flame Journey or the Twin Flame Union.
The stages of Twin Flame Union are roughly as follows:
1. Yearning for “the one”. I think every human being that believes in love experiences this whether it’s throughout their entire life, or only their adult life until they meet this person but yeah. You get it. Kara has always wanted that “Wapow!” moment.
2. Glimpsing/meeting “the one”. Whether it’s only for a short moment, an extended meeting, or perhaps merely locking eyes with them as you pass each other by...you feel immediately connected. There is an instant soul recognition when meeting them, so much so that you could have sworn you’ve met them before or that it’s as if you’ve known each other your whole lives.
Remember when Kara met Lena? And she was gaga-eyed over Lena? Or when Lena felt so comfortable around a new acquaintance that she granted an almost stranger unbridled access to her office? Or how about when Red Daughter flew to America (the country she was taught to hate), with no recollection/memories of Kara’s relationship with Lena (again, the woman she was taught to hate), all because she felt PULLED to do so. And then when she did meet Lena she looked at her and practically drooled over her as if Lena was a double XL cheeseburger with extra special sauce from Big Belly Burger? Like, biiiitch 👀
3. Falling in love. Need I say more? Fine, again, I will. You CANNOT tell me that there is no way in hell that these two morons are anything BUT in love with each other. That’s a lot of double negatives and I appplogize so let me reiterate for clarification: THEY ARE IN LOVE AND YOU CAN’T CHANGE MY MIND!
And at this point is it so freaking BEYOND platonic love, the show cannot explain it away or sweep it under the “just close friends” rug. No. Kara used her Fifth Dimensional Wish (she literally could have wished her entire planet didn’t explode) and she said “make Lena not mad at me, I’m sad 😔” 👀. Mmmkay. Not to mention Lena picking Supergirl over Jack, her former lover. Or the plethora of other times Lena chose Kara/Supergirl over everyone else she knew. Mmkay.
4. The fairytale relationship/friendship. Lena has finally found someone she can depend on, be vulnerable with, support her without judgement, trust with her life etc. and Kara has finally found a true best friend, not her sister, not Kenny who she didn’t realize was her best friend till after he passed? And now he’s not dead?? But her one true best friend that she felt she didn’t need to be neither Supergirl, nor Kara Danvers, but rather Kara Zor-El around (despite Lena not knowing that little tidbit of information).
They were each other’s best friend. Each other’s person. They were happy.
5. Outer Turmoil and Inner Purging—Supergirl and Lena fight. Lena still does not know that Kara is indeed Supergirl and does not pick up on the brewing tension between herself and Kara.
Kara of course is riddled with guilt and her relationship with Lena becomes strained. This outer turmoil creates inner purging by bringing out negative traits in each other. I.E. Lena hiding kryptonite and also Kara asking James to spy on her. Shit gets messy but they still try to make it work.
6. The Runner and the Chaser/Separation Stage—Tensions mount between the two and Lena FINALLY learns about Kara’s secret. And she has a choice to make. So what does she do? She runs. Not physically but emotionally. She completely withdraws from not only Kara and their friends but also withdraws from herself.
She literally experiences cognitive dissonance and becomes someone she is not. Someone other people made her believe she was on the inside, even though Kara knows that it isn’t. And so, Kara chases her.
Lena becomes the runner and Kara becomes the chaser as they navigate this separation stage.
Continuously running and continuously chasing.
7. The Surrender and dissolution stage—they’re fucking done. They’re tired. They’re exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally after all the bullshit they put each other through as well as all the bullshit Lex and the Phantom Zone put them through.
They come to an impasse in regards to Lex and realize the only way to defeat him is to work together, as a team. (El Mayarah anyone?)
They surrender to their emotions and to each other as their egos dissolve and their souls expand after having learned invaluable life lessons. The major one being: THEY CANNOT LIVE HAPPILY WITHOUT EACH OTHER!
8. The last stage that we have yet to see but we fucking better or else I’m gonna January 6 the CW studio building—“Oneness”.
This time, I’m not gonna say more.
So, in conclusion: Supercorp is Endgame because Lena Luthor and Kara Zor-El Danvers are the literal definition of a twin flame, soulmate connection. They are the same soul, manifested in two physical forms, for the sole purpose of expanding their soul’s consciousness.
They deserve to be happy, they deserve to be together. Not only does their union parallel some of the greatest love stories throughout history, i.e. Romeo and Juliet, Darcy and Bennet, Superman and Lois (duh) it would also break the curse of generational karma and illustrate to anybody who watches the show that the only person who defines who you are is YOU. Not a name, not a legacy, not society’s expectations, YOU. And most importantly of ALL...it would showcase that love truly does conquer all.
I rest my case.
TPTB, make Supercorp Endgame or kick rocks ✌️😘
Sincerely,
An empassioned fan with way too much time on her hands.

Chapter 47: “I’m happy” / It’ll be hell...
“[Here,]” Selena stated while handing Solara a large bag. “[But don’t expect me to be your errand runner,]” she smirked.
“[If you didn’t want to bring it over, you could have just said so,]” Solara rolled her eyes.
“[Naaah… I didn’t say that. And besides, I was in Thea still, so it’s fine,]” Lena shrugged, cocking her head as she did so.
A brief moment of silence, lasting only for a few seconds, passed by them.
“[Tea?]”
“[I thought you’d never ask,]” Lena mused with a playful scoff.
“[And I thought that you’d tell me that you actually want to talk to me,]” Lara scoffed with amusement, while putting the bag away, and beginning to lead Lena towards the living quarters of the base, just around the corner from where they stood.
“[I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t want to talk to you. Plus, I thought that you’d know me better than this… If I come over then-]”
“[We’ll be having tea and talking about nothing and everything in particular?]” Lara stated while pointing towards a teapot on a small table, between two arm chairs.
“[Ah, and here I thought that I’d have to start worrying about you getting old.]”
“[I fail to see your logic, you were out in the world before I was,]” Solara rolled her eyes.
“[But only because they had to fish me out via C-section. You were always supposed to be the eldest,]” Lena shrugged. “[Which is why I’m still glad that they gave you the title of first born. Because you were meant to have it.]”
“[…And you’re free to do your own thing?]”
“[…. That is… an added bonus yes,]” Lena admitted as they sat down.
Solara only scoffed as a reply, rolling her eyes, and yet pouring Lena a cup of tea.
“[But jokes aside,]” Lena began, her tone changing into that of a flutter. “[How are you doing?]”
“[I’m…]” Lara paused for a moment, thinking about what to answer with a smile tugging her lips up. “[I’m a lot of things.]”
Lena quirked an eyebrow at her. “[That’s not an answer,]” she insisted. “[Lexi did dirty on you. Sil is… not happy. Though who cares what he thinks, and Val…]” a scoff escaped her. “[Well, Val is Val. Right now, at least. He doesn’t seem actively threatening, but who knows.]”
“[Lexi… I have a bone to pick with her. Sil… honestly, who cares what his scrawny little ass has to say, and Val… I-, ‘m not sure how to feel about that. I mean. He needs help. And he needs to accept that help, and I just-,]”
“[Have Val conduct an experiment on Lexi’s magic, by having her and Sil get locked into a room together, until Lexi gets bored and decides to have some fun with him. Lexi would hate being made into a comprehensible report, something to be reasoned out. Sil would hate the emotional torture of not being ‘ready’ to admit his crush for her. And Val would have to deal with Sil’s anger of being put into that position for research purposes.]”
“[… That… honestly doesn’t sound all that bad.]”
“[But-]”
“[But. It wouldn’t be ethical.]”
Lena hummed in agreement while taking a sip of her tea.
“[So…]” Lena continued.
“[So… I’m… I’m-,]” she paused for a moment as a smile crept onto her face. She gazed into the depths of the amber coloured liquid in her cup, and smiled. “[I’m… happy.]”
Lena halted her movements, staring at her sister for a collection of seconds that harboured a vast array of emotions, but through which one, was continuous: disbelief.
“[You’re… happy?]” The fairer twin asked with a frown. Her eyes were locked on the other, trying to find even a hint of a lie, because she couldn’t, for the life of her, understand what would be joyous in the list of things that had been presented.
“[You almost sound displeased with my happiness,]” Solara smirked with faint amusement.
“[No, no, it’s-… I’m happy that you’re happy, but… It’s… Are you happy about finally being able to establish a relationship on this end as well? Is that it?]” Lena’s frown deepened and her hands, holding her teacup, lowered down as she was trying to concentrate.
“[A bit of that as well,]” she replied, giving a wave to a few younger members of the squad entering room. Lena’s eyes turned, pulling her head along to give them a slight nod. “[But um.. mostly it’s this,]” Solara continued, turning back to face her sister and pulling her sleeve back just enough to allow Lena catch a glimpse of the red mark on her wrist before slipping the sleeve back down.
“[What is that supposed to be?!]” Lena spat, making the others gaze into their direction. Her body was tense for a moment, but the tension melted away a she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. “[What… is that supposed to be?]” She asked again, this time with a composed and collected tone, one that sounded factual, more than anything.
The eyes that had turned to them, lost interest with the compassionate and faint smile that rose over Solara’s lips with a tilt of her head. “[It’s a promise,]” she simply replied with a flutter and a flow.
“[An engagement is a promise, among other things. That is being branded,]” Lena insisted with a stern tone.
“[Tattoos have existed for gods know how long. This is hardly different. And besides, I gave him one of his own.]”
“[… Alright… fair…]” Lena admitted, forcing the words past her lips.
“[And I hardly see how this is that much different from you wearing that hairclip of yours. Even if you have it tugged under a couple braids.]”
Lena frowned as her eyes shifted to the side for a moment.
“[And many couples carry something from the other. Yes, this is a more permanent one, but then I can’t drop it, or lose it. Plus-]”
“[Alright, alright,]” Lena rolled her eyes. “[You made your point.]” She sighed. “[So. What now? You’re engaged? Before actually establishing a footing in the noble circles here? Don’t you think that it’s rash?]”
“[It’s not an engagement Lena. It’s a promise. Yes, and engagement is a kind of a promise as well, but this…]” she paused for a moment. “[It’s-, treat it like a pre-engagement.]”
“[What utter nonsense,]” Lena huffed with another roll of her eyes before lifting her teacup back to her lips.
“[Lena… I’m still planning on being the one to propose. As the customs dictate,]” Lara replied. “[But… I… I have to admit that I-, quite liked being asked for this… Even if it’s a different kind of a proclamation of love.]”
Selena stayed quiet for a moment. Her eyes were to the depths of the floor between them as she thought. She lifted her hand, bringing it into her hair where the tips of her fingers traced the edges of a sharp hairclip. A kind of a promise as well.
“[It… does make one feel wanted…]” she admitted while lowering her hand back down, and directing her gaze once more.
Solara nodded to her in agreement, feeling what tension there might have been, uneasiness that she had felt, leaving her. “[What about you? He as rough around the edges as he seems?]”
Lena’s lips turned into a soft, cascading smile that glowed like a midnight moon. “[You have no idea…]” she breathed out, making Solara frown for a moment. “[He may look cold and ridged… like the peaks of snowy mountaintops… But he’s….]” she swayed her head from side to side, as if shaking it in disbelief, her gaze having again turned towards the depths of the floor. “[He’s soft… and gentle… almost fragile…]” A passing, split second frown appeared on her as she thought about it, but as soon as the admission had left her, her gaze focused. Her eyes fluttered to Solara with slight apprehension. “[I’ve said too much already.]”
The secrets we keep… Solara thought to herself.
The secrets we keep, Selena thought.
---
“Solara aneue!” Leo exclaimed while spotting her, walking down a corridor of the castle.
“Hey Leo,” she greeted back. “Excited for tomorrow?”
“Of course,” he stated with his usual enthusiasm. “Though wouldn’t it be better to have a festival, if we’re celebrating our victory over the Eye of the Midnight Sun?”
“Well, yes I suppose,” Solara agreed. “That would be a more unifying celebration for everyone in the kingdom, or the capitol at least. But it would be time consuming, and… since we don’t have that much time before the battle, this is a more favourable option.” She paused for a moment, intending to stop there, but feeling the need to still add: “But since this is good for moral, it’s … beneficial to have.”
“Hmm… aniue also said that you’re doing this for political reasons,” Leo spoke in thought.
“That’s true as well,” she agreed. “We still need to make more formal introductions to the kings. Julius is… more or less aware, but um… King Clover is… He knows something.”
“Can’t you just do the introductions with Julius?”
“That’s not how it works,” Solara shook her head. “You Magic Knights are so used to running things by Julius alone, because that’s… Because Julius is the head of military here. There’s no need to run everything by King Clover. But when it comes to being the head of the state, that’s… King Clover.”
“Hmm… I still think that it’d make more sense to make the introductions with the more influential one,” Leo stated. “Because while forming relations, isn’t it better to have those with more power to form the relationship? That way it’s not so easily shaken.”
“It is,” she agreed once more. “But. As said. King Clover is the head of the state. This needs to be run by him. That’s just how it is.”
Leo just hummed in thought as a reply, not saying anything further to the matter.
He has come such a long way in a short period of time, she though to herself.
“Does this mean that you’re staying in Clover for good?” He suddenly asked, catching Solara off guard for a moment.
“Oh… That um,” she collected herself. “We haven’t discussed permanent residency yet. And I have some unfinished business in Thea still that I need to take care of before moving here, even if for a period of time…” she thought. “As said, we haven’t yet talked about it. How we would distribute living arrangements. Here or there, or both.”
Leo’s expression was blank. Not pleased, but not quite displeased either. Perhaps he was thinking about it. Or then he simply didn’t have an opinion about it.
Unfinished business… The words flowed through her mind with a melancholic undertone, swirling around as they exchanged idle talk with Leo for a small while still before parting their ways.
The Evaluation… I need to finish that before the war. I need to-, I need to prepare for it. My affinity… should work well with it. If the prospects of the plane are what the Queen said they are, or felt like being. It should. But how… how do I prepare for this? How do I prepare for a plane of which I have no prior knowledge? It doesn’t even, necessarily, follow the natural laws of this plane. For all I know it could be like Acelea or Ienidis… Or then something entirely different…
She made her way to her room, trying to push the thought away with a sigh. Once more, she had a room of her own. Because the walls of the castle, they had ears and eyes, and they’d always be watching. They’d always be waiting.
How ridiculous… The thought passed her as she was welcomed by the empty room, her mind running, jumping from one thing onto another. Everyone here has… a reason to-…. We’ve spent enough time together to share a room, she frowned to herself, feeling a swirling, turning gush of wind in her chest. But. This is for show. We didn’t share one when he was in Thea either… technically… I mean, there were reasons for that but… even if he hadn’t been thrown into a cell, we would have slept in separate rooms. Or… at least would have been assigned different rooms. So. This is just, she took a deep breath, filling her lungs with air in an effort to feel lighter. For show. This is just for show.
The door behind her was firmly closed, and her dress, accessories and other apparel was careful laid out for the next day, for the ball and the introductions. But it’s so… stupid! She thought to herself, immediately feeling like a toddler.
She made her way to the window and gazed outside, outside and into the world that bathed in the faint light of the autumn evening. Stars flickered in the night sky as she leaned against the windowsill, cursing the fact that the castle was in the middle of the city. If there were less prying eyes, I’d take a stroll… She let out a sigh, admiring how the lanterns of the streets made them seem like a string of pearls, just like on that one evening.
But then again…. She opened the window with a faint creaking sound, allowing the crisp air to flow in, filling her lungs with the distant scent of trees and grass, almost covered in frost; almost, but not quite. For now, it was only laced with the moisture that would turn the falling leaves into mulch a bit later on.
So what if someone sees me? She gazed around, looking around for anyone who might see. I’m not the first noble to sneak out of a window. And this certainly wouldn’t be the last time I do so. She placed her foot onto the windowsill, her mana skin embracing her into a gentle glow. Her left hand held onto the outer surface of the castle wall, ready to assist her to pull herself out. But. She stopped.
But… I’m a guest in this country… And it doesn’t look good if I’m being seen, sneaking out into the night-, or evening, for that matter.
She lingered in place for a moment, but, there was a tug of a string, urging her back. And so, she gave in. She lowered herself back down onto the floor as her mana skin faded away, and closed the window.
I should… be smart about it… She kept pressing the window closed for a moment still, wanting to get out of the stuffy room for a while. Wanting to, but the tug, the urging and the implore, they asked her to stay. This is ridiculous… I’d be going for a stroll… She turned around and made her way around the room, pacing across the floor as her mind ran wild. I could just walk out…. But there’s not the same feeling of freedom. It’d be just… walking out with the same, collected, poised manner as walking inside the castle…. There’s no sense of freedom.
She sat into an armchair, flinging her legs over the armrest, feeling so immature once more. But. There was a strange sense of comfort in it. I’m being weird again, she scoffed. Wanting to slip out from an open window, and not feeling satisfied by the idea of just walking out of the front door. She chuckled at herself as her fingers found their way onto her left wrist, over the mark, tracing the edges of it.
I need to tell him about it. The evaluation. Though he’s been told something. But I… should still tell him. He should know where I’m going, when, and for how long… But, if I tell him everything, then he’ll never let me go. Though it’s-, not really his decision to make. It’s not. And I’m going. I need to. I want to.
I… want to.
Yes. I want to.
---
“[Sir?]”
“[Hm?]”
“[I was summoned?]”
“[Ah, yes. Celeste mentioned that she sent a word before her meeting.]”
The subordinate only nodded to the red-haired man, who wore a pin, and emblem, depicting a moon and a sun, joined in unison.
“[I need you to travel to the Old Ruins of Micah, near the training grounds of Azighar, and change the reinforcement crystals.]”
The subordinate, young man, barely in his mid-20s, frowned with the words. His body tensed up, and his breathing became heavier, sturdier, more focused. “[Has there been a disturbance, Sir? Should we prepare for an altercation and a renovation of the binding seals?]”
“[Hm? Oh no, no,]” Arcturus shrugged, shaking his head slightly, as if to brush off the statement while moving a few documents on his desk to the side. “[The ‘outer’ reinforcement crystals.]”
The man’s frown deepened with the words, as he tried to understand.
“[So, should we prepare for an altercation while going around the premises?]”
“[There’s no need.]”
Seconds ticked away between them in the silence of the room, as if a countdown. “[Sir… Forgive me but… I don’t think I understand. Who is trying to break into the Old Ruins of Micah? If no one is trying to break out.]”
“[No one is breaking in, or out of the Old Ruins of Micah. Not as long as everything is in order. And the crystals will still hold for a while, but they should be changed at the earliest opportunity.]”
“[Then… are the crystals perhaps… malfunctioning…?]” The man suggested with hesitance, as if walking on eggshells.
Arcturus gazed to the man from under his brows. That’s right… He’s new in his position. Young and full of curiosity. “[No,]” he replied with a soft undertone, not blaming the man for his suggestion. “[An outburst of mana in the training grounds caused the reinforcement crystals to exhaust themselves.]”
“[But Sir, there should still be 5 to 10 years’ worth of mana stored in those crystals,]” he spoke without thinking, realizing his mistake only after the words had left him.
But much to the man’s relief, Arcturus let out a chuckle. “[You’re well informed I see.]”
“[Thank you, Sir. I do my best to be informed.]”
“[That is a good quality in a person. It’ll be a pleasure to work with you.]”
The younger smiled. “[I hope to be of service to you, and your family long into the future. Even after the rule is passed to your daughter.]”
Arcturus quirked an eyebrow.
“[I-, what I meant to say Sir is that I… I hope that I’ll continue in this position through the exchange of power.]”
“[I see.]”
A few more seconds ticked away as questions swirled in the mind of the younger. “[May I speak freely, Sir?]”
“[You’ve been speaking rather freely until now. So, I see no reason for you to stop now.]”
The man’s eyes averted for a moment, as he pondered if he should still keep at it, since Lord Equinox was correct. He had been too brash. But on the other hand, he was in rather deep, so he might just as well continue. “[I think you’re rather brave, Sir.]”
Arcturus glanced at him with a quirked eyebrow. “[Meaning?]”
The man chewed in his next words, trying to choose them carefully. “[You… are sending your daughters outside of our borders so freely. And I can’t imagine what it must be like. To… worry for them. *Though* I am *sure* that they’ll be alright! But as a father I… it must be-, difficult. Or so my father tells me. Whenever I go abroad.]”
This is rather bold of him. Though, I suppose there’s no harm in it. The little while he has been working here, he has proven to be an excellent candidate for the position. And his track record from even before that has been outstanding. These questions… I suppose they’re the result of him feeling comfortable. His reasoning is strange, but he seems to mean well.
“[I didn’t send them away. They are going out of their own volition,]” Arcturus corrected.
“[But… surely, you must worry.]”
Arcturus let out a faint chuckle. “[That is a father’s job. I worried even before they were born. I worried even more when they learned to walk. And I was terrified when they learned to run.]” He mused. “[But. My children are strong. They are resilient. They are… ]” he trailed off, stopping there.
He gazed at the man from under his brows. “[There’s work to be done.]”
The younger took a step back, but halted, still wanting to make sure. “[There is nothing causing strain to the crystals and the shield currently, is there Sir?]”
“[No. It is a result of… my eldest exercising her magic,]” Arcturus replied, turning his gaze to the younger. And his eyes, they were stern and unyielding. It would be the last that he’d say to the matter.
“[Understood,]” he said, about to turn around, but was stopped.
“[Clemens?]” The red-haired one spoke, this time without looking.
“[Yes Sir?]”
“[Have you been present during our training sessions?]”
“[Um… those of nobility, no.]”
A faint smile passed over Arcturus’ lips with the reply. “[If you’re looking to work with us for a long time, I suggest you make a visit to the training ground.]”
“[I’ve seen pictures of it, Sir. I’m sure I’ll find it when necessary.]”
There was a brief pause in the air, creating a strange twist to the next statement that rolled from the father’s tongue: “[I see.]”
---
That was the last one, Clemens wiped off sweat from his forehead, sitting down on a rock with a water bottle. He gazed amidst the hills around him, the valleys and the barren land, the ruins being left behind his back.
I wonder what Lord Equinox meant… Does he want me to train on my own? But my position isn’t that of a frontline combatant. Though, if there is a war, I’m expected to pull my own weight. He wondered for a moment before standing up and gazing to the stones, stacked over each other, one by one, that were behind him. Moss and grass were trying to overdue the bricks, laid by human hands. The wilting and the dying.
His eyes travelled to the arcs and the branches, the vines trying to grasp onto the stone.
Why don’t they just destroy this place…?
He shook his head, taking a few steps forward and closer to the training grounds, feeling a creeping chill leave him. It dripped onto the ground behind him, little by little, making him feel lighter with each step.
Maybe that’s what he meant. If I want to work for them, I need to train as well. I can’t rely on my knowledge alone. Hmm… That would make sense. It would. Because they do have knowledge of their own as well, but they’re working in the frontlines if all Hells break loose. And especially if there’s real danger of demons pouring from behind to ocean to Thea, then I should be ready too. I should-
He looked at the sight before him. Blades of grass… no longer danced in the wind. Instead, they were smothered by a blanket of ash, as if snow.
Where-
There was no sound. Not even wind howling in the distance. It was all nothing. As if still air, in which even the very nature feared to speak. It dreaded the idea of another.
Where are… the training ground?
He fell onto his knees into the soft bed of grey. And he stared.
‘Exercising her strength’… That’s what… he said…
He looked into the valley, carved in stone with scorched edges.
Note to self: Don’t anger her. Ever.
---
Solara sighed to herself, keeping her fingers on the mark. And it’ll be soon too… Sooner than Lena’s. Though that’s because of the way the dial turns, and… I suppose it’s better to have it now, well before the actual war. Or. Well… well and well before the war. I’ll have time to rest and get familiar with my grimoire afterwards.
But. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t shake the weight, the uneasy feeling that had coiled around itself into the bottom of her stomach. The fact that she couldn’t know what was coming, this time, it made her insides twist into a knot.
She swayed her head from side to side, as if shaking it. Just-, what do I… how do I prepare…? Or then I just prepare for … everything, I suppose.
Her lip quivered for a moment, but she pushed it aside, turning her eyes to the ceiling and blinking rapidly.
I’ll tell him tomorrow. Once we have time to spend together again. I’ll tell him… tomorrow. After the introductions have been made and we can… start being together, officially. I hope. Unless the King has an issue with it.
Though, she scoffed to herself, his opinion… The type of a person he is… Let him be blinded by his own “grandeur”, and he’ll follow like a lamb. As if I’d let him destroy everything we’re trying to build. Oh no. We’re in too deep to turn back now.
Her fingers traced the red mark, traveling down to her ring finger.
I don’t want to turn back. Not ever again. I-, I don’t think… I even want to spend those 168 hours away from him… I don’t. I don’t… Another burning sensation started collecting behind her eyes as she thought about it.
It’ll be hell. It’ll… be hell…
She held her hand closer to her chest, trying to press the mark as tightly as she could, as if something, perhaps her sanity, depended on it.
I don’t want to be away from you… She sobbed. Why are the fates trying to tear us apart, only to make it feel as if the strings are binding so much tighter? Why? Have we not been through enough?
Oh, what a ridiculous question it was, for she knew the answer. She knew. And it was necessary for her to wait still a little while longer, for both of them to wait, even if for a short period of time. Still the strings would need to wind, from a distance.

the writing style of dt17
Hi there I am bored and a bit sick so I have decided to go on a huge rant/ break down about the “writing style” of Ducktales 2017.
the writing on the show is fantastic and is wonderful example of masterful writing, in both character and mystery’s. So after re-watching the show (again) I have put together the basic formula that the seasons have.
first things first, I have to explain the difference between a Plot line and a Story line. now these terms in this context, means that a ‘story line’ can out live a ‘plot line’.let me beak it down.
---------------------------------------
in Season one,
the Plot line-
Magica de spell made Lena and she got close to the family to steal scrooges dime and free Magica.
with me so far, now.
the Story Line -
is about a family coming back together after years apart.
-----------------------------------------
now even when the ‘plot’ is not around the ‘story’ still continues. So each episode focuses on one or both of these elements.
How do they do that? simple, character focus.
both the ‘plot line’ and the ‘story line’ are embodied by one to two characters (as the focus)
in season one the plot focused character was Lena.
meaning that whenever she showed up in s1 the audience knew that something plot related is going to happen. Lena pushed the s1 plot line forward with every appearance, until the every last episode of s1.
she was the connection to Magica, she was the one with the ‘plot secret’ and it was reviled with her character.
simple enough.
the characters pushing the story line in s1 were
Dewey and Scrooge,
Dewey in particular was the one pushing the ‘story line’ as he (and webby) was the one most involved with finding out WHY the family had been apart so long (why and how his mother was missing).
so whenever an episode focused on Dewey the audience knew that the ‘story line’ was moving forward. the way Scrooge fits into this is what makes the writing on this show so damn amazing.
the way dt17 uses characters to play off not just each other but the story is what makes it all so impressive.
Scrooge in s1 was ‘holding all the cards’ as it were as he already knew how the whole thing happened BUT when it is revealed and the audience, like Dewey thinks we have all the answers this happens
Here (4 mins in)
youtube
we (the audience) think the story is over the truth that Dewey (we) wanted was reviled but at the last turn, we find out the story is not over, that there in another peace that was missing. why scrooge pushed everyone away in the first place. this showed that the story was not over, and that there was more to it then anyone realised. ok so we know that s1 ends with both the story line and plot line merging and then concluding at the same time. the family came back together to beat De Spell (but they would have come back regardless which is important to the story line)
ok so that was season one
Season Two
has a similar formula in that it also uses characters as focuses points for both plot and story.
The plot line-
of season 2 is, that the moon is trying to invade earth and made it into a moon.
the story line-
is about Della finding and reconnecting with her kids.
the focus of this season is a little different though as the plot is not driven by a single person like last time but a location.
the Moon
whenever the moon was given focus it moved the plot along regardless of who it was following. weather is was
- Della
- Penny
- Lunarus
-Donald
the location is what made episode plot related not just the characters themselves per say, same as s1 whenever the moon showed up the audience knew it was plot related in some way.
moving on to the Story line focus of s2 was
Louie and Della
Louie’s arc in s2 (which i will expand later) is basically him finding how he fits into the family and what his ability’s are.
Della’s as stated above is about finding and reconnecting with her boys,
Della is was connects the story line to the plot line this season as she was the character involved in both. the consultation point of both the story and plot is in the scene pictured about.
Here
youtube
this sealed the connection between Della and Louie and lead into them all ‘rejoining’ the plot.
thus concluding season 2′s story and plot.
------------------
Now with all of that in mind what does this say about s3 and how it does and does not fit this formula.
so far it does fit this formula as each of the seasons starts with an episode about the “Story Line” which focuses on one of the boy’s
what do I mean,
s1 (for sack of agreement lets say woo-woo and the Atlantis ep are one ep)
the first ep focused on Dewey and how he wanted to show how daring and bold he is but that gets him into trouble for not thinking anything through, but it also shows that Dewey is emotionally in touch with himself and others like when he tells Donald all he can do is let go and trust him.
s2
the frist ep is the game night and how Louie feels like he doesn’t fit in and that he feels useless, but the ep shows what his, ability's really are “seeing all the angles” and how he can use it to befit himself and his family.
both of these eps shows the boy’s strengths and weakness
Dewey -
pro - Brave, adventures, emotionally aware
con- don’t think things through, brash, attention starved
-------------
Louie-
Pro- is a thinker and a planner, smart in a business way, and understands the people around him
con- insecure about his place in the family, greedy (in a kid way tho), can be manipulative
---------------
now this leads us to s3
the plot of season 3 is simple enough
FOWL wants to steal the world.
that it, how remains to be seem.
the story line is most likely set up in ep one that was about Huey,
and how his greatest weakness are
- having no guide
- failure
-anger (the duck family anger is strongest in him)
- fear of not knowing what to do/ what is out there
- his self worth is fragile (no woodchucks “no him” idea)
- making bad choices under pressure
but mostly Accepting Change (he can’t understand)
but his strengths are
- humble (in defeat)
- willing to try anything
- can admit when wrong
-smart and capable when claim
- makes good friends easier then the other main kids (as Boyd and Violet became friends with Huey much faster and both of them are good kids, unlike say Doofus and Louie and Lena (at first) for Webby, point is Huey didn’t have to change them (lena) or get way from them (doofus))
now how will this tie into the plot? no idea. but none of the other two seasons tied that in, until at least halfway through the season anyway.
but this does give us a look into the story line of this season might be about.
the next question is who is the other character Huey will be ‘bounce off of’ in the story line, and so far I think that it is either
- Donald
or
- Launchpad
as Lp was give plot focus in ep 3, and Donald was given character focus in both ep 2 and 5.
so atm my money is on Donald in the story line part of this season.
now what is the conflict here? or what could it be?
looking back at the last 2 seasons the story conflict is shown in each focus character.
s1- Dewey asking questions and Scrooge having the answer
s2- Louie trying to “fit into” the family/ find himself and Della trying to space her her past idea’s into the family
(ep. “Louie should stop scheming” as appose to “I will show you the scheme with/for the family”)
so if s3 follows suit the story line might be something like.
Donald wants to ‘move on’ with his life but Huey want things to stay as they are.
or
Donald wants to have a life outside of his family which he has not been able to do for 10 years or so, due to raising the boys by himself. but now that Della and Scrooge are back in the picture Donald can spread his wings. He got the band back together and is finding love (Daisy) so he may want to leave the house boat and travel with his friends and Daisy, without the family (not all at once tho).
so Huey might freak out at these changes as Donald is the one contain in his life. never changing always the same uncle Donald, until now
but i can’t say for sure that’s just one idea.
it could be that Huey might feel that he failed Donald somehow?
or
that Huey makes a bad choice under pressure and that makes Donald upset at him?
or
Huey could have an out burst at Donald that leads to a riff between them?
the point is, that the story line this season is going to be looking at Huey in away we have not seen him before.
Angry and unsure.
and depending on who “Huey’s nemesis” turns out to be (as hinted at by show runners) that is what will shape the rest of the season 3 ‘story line’.
is it a FOWL villain
like say Gandra or Funzo
or is it a personal one like
Daisy (for “taking” Donald away), Gosalyn (as she was meant to be in the first ep and not violet) or even Donald (idk)
but this show is just so well put together and written that whatever the case is its going to be good.

FIDDLER’S TRIBUNE — BREAKING!
A POWER OUTAGE just hit the Golden Triangle during the Fresh and Freaky Festivities! Scrambling through the darkness and panic of the sudden incident, some residents are stuck with each other while others are bolting to their duties— the electric fence that keeps walkers at bay is in jeopardy!
Here is a list of residents, their current locations and some context:
Joel & Murphy Biermann / On their way to the Fence
Father and son, as head guard and frontier guard, bolt out of the Den in a fury to secure the electric fence with the other guards. The fun’s over, but maybe this rush of adrenaline will make for some interesting bonding time between the pair!
Katsunari Fukazawa & Juliet Kemp / The Den
A bit of an unlikely pair, the Scout and the Cook end up bumping into each other in the commotion and begin interacting. Everyone is either in absolute panic or confused around them, but these two seem to be coping alright, maybe they have more in common than one would think. Mina Atkinson & Valerie Miller / The Den
The two high-ranking Elite try to scurry out of the Den in the midst of the chaos. Mina, the celebrity diva of the high rise, is not reacting very well to this situation. What will Valerie do? Scott Russell & Elena Hastey / The Den
The ex-exiled and the Scout who found him bump into each other by the doors and immediately join forces to try and calm the situation, helping anyone in need and comforting those around them. This incident is a perfect opportunity for the both of them to get to know each other more. Lucas Biermann & Francis York / The Den
To his dismay, Lucas finds himself stuck with his good friend’s antagonistic ex. To top it all off, Frank’s absolutely, devastatingly drunk and has no idea what is going on around him. Lucas must manage the situation as best as he can (if he can). Frank? Well, Frank needs to get his shit together. Teague Luo & Clementine Thatcher / On their way to Liberty Ave.
The young mother finds herself in a worried frenzy, as her first thought as soon as the power goes out is Delilah. Luckily, she finds herself in good company with the lead supply runner, Teague. He must use his quick skills to help Clementine home and ensure both mother and daughter are reunited and safe in case the situation worsens. Matias Grant & Lena Holbrook / The Den
Lena does not react well to the stress of the situation and, unluckily for him, Matias is the first to cross her path and find himself on the receiving end of her lashing out. Will Lena calm down? How will Matias react? Barry King & Neve Lopez / Forbes Hall
The Nurse and the Carpenter promptly leave the Den and station in the dining hall of Forbes Hall, where they aid residents who weren’t at the festivities. This is an unfortunate occasion for the two to get to know each other some more.
The Tribune’s BREAKING are small plot drops that will last around a week until the end of the current event (to be announced by admin). Feel free to contact your assigned partners through Discord and/or IMs, and see where your characters go from here! Have fun!

We dabble in writing fics, as well! Here’s a slowburn sigcy fic (it’s still a WIP, first posted on AO3) that Mod Cricket and I worked on together. (CW for violence.) Part Four.
[ Part One ] | [ Next Part (coming soon!)]
Overwatch’s Recall had been in operation for nearly a year. Supported by the League of Nations-- the community of city states that had united post-crisis-- Gibraltar, Hong Kong, The Vatican, Singapore, and others, Overwatch managed to squeak by. They had supplies needed, personnel in roles filled, and the Watchpoints around the world began to fill with agents and recruits alike. Their numbers weren’t like they were in their golden days, but they got things done. They were striking blows against Talon everywhere they went-- Teams taking out supplies, intel runners doing their best keeping tabs on the organization. Talon was seeking to start another Crisis-- potentially ending the human race as they knew it.
And so they had to be stopped before they reached their goal.
But it was difficult--easier said than done-- Whatever they did, it seemed that Talon always seemed to be one step ahead of them. Where Overwatch stopped an incident in one location, Talon would succeed in another. Civilian casualties-- Human and Omnic alike. With each passing day, they teetered further and further toward the cliffs of war.
Angela Ziegler was one of them-- having joined back up as soon as she could. She immediately took her place as head of medical sciences-- spearheading the organization and along with Winston, and the newly rescued Mei-Ling Zhou, hoped to point this new Overwatch down a better path. They adamantly insisted they were not a Mercenary group, nor did they have any semblance of a Blackwatch organization in their ranks. Jesse McCree and Genji Shimada served just as much as the rest of them. Reinhardt, Brigitte and Torbjorn all returned of their own volition. Miss Fareeha volunteered her time, as well. With a daring rescue to Rio, they even had Lucio Correia dos Santos and Satya Vaswani-- a Vishkar defector. Even Hanzo-- Genji’s older brother-- had joined their ranks. Lena was present, her girlfriend in toe. The little family they had all been once before seemed to come together once again. More had joined them, over time.
Thursday, November 18th, 2077.
0319.
Angela didn’t know the specifics on how the mission went down. Nor, did she entirely care at the moment. She’d been bogged down with work at base-- requisition orders, several video conferences with UN officials, and her usual filing and medical paperwork-- and had been ultimately unable to tag along on the mission. and so when she’d been awoken by Athena requesting urgent assistance to the returning team, she didn’t waste a moment getting ready. A pair of flats, her usual black-on-black, her hair thrown up into a quick, messy bun. She looked tired, but still threw on her usual bit of makeup to hide that fact.
The prisoner—patient— asset-- had been 'captured', on her request. Athena believed the man to be rather important in Talon’s ranks— one of their scientists, judging by biometric scan and matching reports alone. Siebren de Kuiper, an astrophysicist that had been institutionalized following an accident that left many people dead. He’d gone missing following another incident involving Talon agents seemingly breaking him out— and now... here he was. Working with Talon? Or for them? Her colleagues wanted to know. They all needed to know. This could severely hurt Talon as they knew it. Baptiste had been sent; their only agent who had enough know how of Talon's Fulcrum to free Dr. de Kuiper.
“Angie, You gotta be careful with that guy. His file weirds me out. Story doesn't add up.” Jesse crossed his arms in front of his chest, the American furrowing his brow at the medic as she checked over the man’s file that Athena had prepared for her. He’d taken off his hat, a gesture of respect to Angela in her wing. “Guy took a couple’a bullets and still came comin’. He’s not to be messed with, darlin’.”
“Yes, Dr. Ziegler. McCree is right.” Genji insisted, the cyborg taking a similar stance as the two of them urged Angela to be careful. “He has a power unlike anything we have ever seen. It would be best if you didn’t go in alone--”
“I will be fine, gentlemen.” She responded, giving a warm, appreciative smile to them both. She appreciated their concern-- but she had handled all sorts of patients. “If he is as unstable as you insist, It would be best not to overcrowd him. Plus-- I wasn’t there, and so he likely won’t recognize me as easily. Perhaps from the old posters... But... he will hopefully not equate me with violence. It will be okay.” She reached out and patted at them both, to which Jesse simply sighed and shook his head.
“Ya really are a handful, doc. Yer gonna getch’yerself hurt, yannow that?”
“I am aware, Jesse. Thank you.” She reached up and tapped the man’s nose with a fingertip, scanning over the datapad with her eyes one last time before she turned to the door in question.
“The prisoner has been sedated to keep him still. He is also cuffed to the bed as per procedure.” Athena’s voice piped up from the nearby wall interface-- the insignia lighting up and catching her attention. They couldn't take any chances after what had happened with Amelie and Gerard all those years ago, she supposed.
Angela was to stabilize his condition, and hopefully get any information she could out of him. She was used to strange patient cases— just look at Genji, and Reinhardt, and even McCree. First, though… She had to stop the sedative and get him coherent.
The medic dismissed the armed guards outside the door to the room— who both insisted she leave the restraints on the man, and that he was incredibly dangerous. They insisted to stay nearby— but she retorted and demanded to have at least the room’s privacy. She was sure she could handle the man herself. There was no patient that she had been unable to deal with before-- and she had almost a lifetime of experience.
And so... she stepped into the room, spying the behemoth of a man where he lay. Sedated, injured, hooked to a caduceus IV that had been slowly fixing his injuries. Returning him to the peak of health. His file claimed that he was unpredictable and dangerous, yet she entered the room unarmed-- confident. Baptiste sat nearby, arms crossed over his chest as he slept in his chair. Angela couldn't help but smile at them both. A tap to his shoulder was enough to wake Baptiste, and the other medic only straightened in his chair before looking to Dr. de Kuiper.
"He knows you, Ma'am." Baptiste mused, leaning forward in his chair.
"A lot of people know me, Jean." Her shoes tapped on the tile as she approached, quietly pinching off the sedative stream into Dr. de Kuiper's IV, and ultimately removing the needle from the injection point. It would take several minutes for him to come to, and so she simply looked over his file on a datapad--committing things to memory-- until the man began to stir, his eyes opening and his mouth curling into a confused frown. He was tall-- akin to that of Reinhardt, she supposed. He’d been given basic pants after his gear had been stripped, and was tucked in to the bed with a hardlight cuff keeping his IV arm in place, secured to the bed. Another hardlight strip crossed his hips, holding him down. His face was scarred, and his mouth curled down in a frown line-- this man had certainly led a rough life-- just looking at his face alone. His frown turned into a grimace as he shifted slightly, obviously still sore.
“Can you hear me, Dr. Kuiper?” She asked, her voice soft and as comforting as she could manage as the man furrowed his brow and blinked away the bright lights of the hospital room. His eyes focused first on the ceiling, then drifted over to her as she repeated her question-- taking the little medic in and looking her up and down--sizing her up.
In all but a moment, he was awake and coherent, snapping to attention as he seemed to realize his situation-- his face twisting in anger as he yanked his arm up at the cuff, letting out a furious growl at the restraint. His breath hitched, anger and panic setting in as he pulled again, and again, and again. He looked to Baptiste, and to Angela, and he let out another furious grunt.
“Dr. Kuiper, I need you to calm down--” She started, her hands reaching out to try and steady him-- only to have a lashing hand grasp roughly at her chest with a tightened fist, drawing her up and in close by the shirt as he half-sat up.
“Release me!” He bellowed, and at that moment the woman was lifted from the ground ever so slightly-- not by force alone, however. The room almost felt lighter, the floor rumbling as though he caused it to shift and shake. “I will be a prisoner no longer! I was promised!” The medic kicked her legs, her mouth curling into a grimace and her brows furrowing in almost fear.
“Dr. Kuiper, I--!!” She started, before Baptiste intervened.
"Hey, hey, hey. It's alright." Dark hands touched at Dr. de Kuiper's shoulders, pulling the man's attention away from his commander. "Let's talk. It's alright. No one here aims to hurt you." A pause, and Baptiste tilted his head to the side, gesturing to the glowing gold caduceus IV above his head, its line trailing into his arm. "You were at that convention, right? When she told the world about her thesis? You told me you met her then. You know her, she sent me for you!"
Sigma paused, periwinkle eyes flicking to the caduceus IV as it hung above him. There was a moment of silence, a moment of shaking breath. After a few seconds, his eyes turned back to Angela-- the spectre of a woman who had haunted him all these years, and his fist was clenched in the fabric of her shirt. She weighed so little, and he could barely tell if it was his own strength or his mind that lifted her and several other objects in the room. Bright blue eyes looked at him, surprised far more than afraid.
"Put her down, big guy. Neither of us mean you any harm." Baptiste said, and it was as though he suddenly came to. He snapped to attention, gently returning the acting-commander to the floor as though she were made of glass. Movements slow, deliberate, delicate.
"I..." Dr. de Kuiper started, slowly pulling his hand he'd used in rage back to his side. "I am so sorry."
Angela dusted herself off, nodding in thanks to Baptiste as the medic's hands moved away from Sigma's shoulders. "You are forgiven, Dr. de Kuiper." She smiled, righting her clothing as though he hadn't touched her at all.
The smile made him hate the fact he even breathed the same air as her. It was warm, kind, and genuine. Like the first light after a terrible storm. An offer of grace. His gut twisted in anxiety as she turned to retrieve a datapad that had been dropped, looking to his vitals screen and scribbling on the datapad's surface for a few moments, and throwing a knowing look to Baptiste.
"I apologize for this whole situation, Dr. de Kuiper." Baptiste murmured, moving to sit back down. "For the record, they had to cuff me as well when I first arrived here."
"It isn't the first time we have... acquired operatives from Talon. Once, one of our informants ended up killed because of our carelessness." Angela's voice was blunt, still writing on her datapad.
"Amelie La'Croix." Siebren looked down at his lap, cupping at his forehead.
Blue eyes flicked down at Siebren where he sat, mouth pressed into a line. "You know her, I presume?"
Siebren sat quietly for many moments, before nodding. "She was... A shell. Emotionless, cold. I thought that that was just how she was... I--I'd never met her prior to... what happened, but--"
"Let's not talk about her." Baptiste offered a smile, standing up and undoing the man's hardlight restraints fully. "You're at Overwatch's base of Operations, in Gibraltar. You've been asleep for a few hours."
"I don't remember going to sleep."
"The water I gave you on the ship. It--" Baptiste started to explain, but Siebren only huffed.
"You could have told me."
"That was the point, my friend. I hope you'll forgive me."
"He was only following protocol, Dr. de Kuiper." Angela mused, a gentle hand placing itself on Siebren's shoulder as she sat on the edge of his bed. Her hand was warm, and it made his heart skip a beat, periwinkle eyes looking to her searchingly.
There was a knock at the door, and Angela's attention was pulled away as the door opened to an omnic nurse bringing in a tray of food, setting it on the side table next to Siebren's bed.
"Thank you, Sybil." Angela smiled at the nurse, until she caught two more peering faces from the door frame. Jesse and Genji. Jesse's face was twisted into a distrusting almost anger, while Genji's was always unreadable. Protective, furious. She only smiled reassuringly at them both, and Jesse crossed his arms in front of his chest before the door closed, the omnic nurse leaving the room once more.
"I am sure you're hungry, friend." Baptiste mused, and Angela stood, reaching to the side table to deliver the food to Siebren's lap. Toast, an unopened bottle of Orange Juice, an apple and some yogurt-- staples in hospital cuisine.
"If this isn't enough, feel free to ask for more." Angela added, looking to Baptiste with a nod. "I will let you rest, for now. Baptiste, why don't you go back to your quarters? You deserve rest, as well." Information that was needed would have to come later.
Siebren's heart panged as he realized he'd be left alone again, and he looked up to her, and then up to Baptiste. Frantic, almost. Don't leave him alone again, he was fit for work, he was--
"No, no, I'm fine, I--"
"Dr. Ziegler, why not leave him with at least something to keep him busy?" Baptiste's tone was gentle, knowing, as he gathered his jacket from the back of the chair he'd settled into. She had no idea what he'd been through-- but Baptiste had an inkling.
Angela paused for a moment, before nodding. "My apologies, of course. I will be right back." Angela took a step back, collecting herself and disappearing through the door within a few seconds. The room fell into silence, before Baptiste only turned on his heel and laughed lightly.
"Now it makes sense, doctor." He laughed, shaking his head.
"E-Excuse me?" Siebren furrowed his brow, collecting his orange juice and cracking the bottle open.
"You love her, don't you?" He turned to Siebren, nodding, a knowing smile across his face as though he were teasing an old friend. "You love Commander Ziegler!"
