Happy 10th Anniversary to one of my top and absolute favourite 3D movies and superhero movies ever! Big Hero 6! based on the superhero team of the same name by Marvel and Man of Action it’s starts with the setting in the city of San Fransokyo where a young robotics prodigy and bot fighter by the name of Hiro Hamada entering his future college with his older brother Tadashi and his friends but an incident happened and it involved the unfortunate passing of Tadashi, where after a moment of grief and loss, they discover a whole lot more involving Hiro’s presentation; The Microbots and someone’s making & controlling them, after a car chase, Hiro and his friends become superheroes + a whole lot more. It’s a absolute masterpiece of a movie that I still love watching to this day and it’s incredible that it’s turning 10 years old today on when it was released in the US (in earlier releases came on October 23rd and Halloween 2014) but I wish Hiro, Baymax, Tadashi, Gogo, Wasabi, Honey Lemon, Fred and many more a awesome decadeversary!

Ok, the voice of Robbie sounds familiar, and turns out it’s fuckin’ TJ Miller (Fred from Big Hero 6, Weasel from Deadpool, and Tuffnut. Apparently he plays Gene from the Emoji Movie (#overhated), and maybe I’ve forgotten what he sounds like, but I like Gene)

Back with some ✨headcanons✨ both are about Casey:

Either Casey is financial normal, not poor, not rich, just living family. Or! He is just like Fred from Big Hero 6. I see no in between.

I will never get over Tadashi's death from Big hero 6.

Never.

It makes me so angry that I haven't even watched the movie again in a long long time.

His death was pointless. (And I'm not saying that it was pointless, I'm saying that it was pointless, if you get it you get it) And that frustrates me. He went in with good intentions to save the stupid fucking professor WHO FUCKING PLANNED THE FIRE, and Tadashi went in with good intentions...to save him. And in doing so, he died.

It creates a paradox which leaves me with such pain and bitter feelings. To have to give your whole self into saving someone, while thinking about their safety, and to never even find out the truth about the whole charade...and to die for a reason which never existed in the first place.

I know it was a thing in the movie, alright.

But it frustrates me. So so much. It has been years and I still can never get over that.

It causes me so much sadness. So much pain.

If he had died saving someone, i could've justified it in my mind somehow and made my peace with it. (I would have appreciated it even more if he hadn't died at all, but okay). But this way, the way he died, I just can't. He died for nothing. And it makes me feel angry and really really sad. He didn't deserve that.

Things were so good between them. He and his friends, and with Hiro. And he was working on something so good. And he was just..so good.

The scene where Hiro finds clips of Tadashi working on Baymax, and just....you know gets all....the way he gets. I feel that.

And it's not even that I hate that idiot fucking professor for what he orchestrated, but I just...yeah I don't know how I feel about the professor tbh. But I know for sure that I hate the way Tadashi died. I hate that he died. And I don't know if I will ever get over that.

It just really wasn't right.

Fred: He is a young, curious and energetic member of the team who has a knack for fixing things. He is the eccentric and somewhat lazy member of the team who is obsessed with comic books and monsters. He is also the only member of the team without any actual superpowers. Fun fact: Fred's design was inspired by real-life comic book artist Scottie Young, who worked on the movie's concept art 💥🔋❤️‍🔥

Leaping into Action!

As any artist may (or may not) know, some ideas or projects stick with you and get worked or re-worked so much they just get messy. For me, trying to draw all Big Hero 6 characters is one of those project ideas. Whether it be one big dynamic image with all 6 or a series of individual images it always seems to fall apart when I trying to design or draw Fred and/or Wasabi. Just something about them has always been a pothole and I just end up doing one image of one of the others that I couldn’t let go. But I’m happy to say I’ve finally got this idea of the ground at last, and I hope you’ll all enjoy them.

So, part 1 of 6 of my little Big Hero 6 collection, we start off with is Fred, the costume monster. Here he is leaping into action ready to scare crime of the streets with his looks. Though if that’s not enough to send them running to the police, he’ll give them a taste of fiery breath of justice.
