Meteos march Day 18: Frozen World

Freaze is a biconal planet stuck in a perpetual blizzard. Stange ice formations litter this frigid planet as far as the eye can see, taking on angular hooked shapes. Should you explore far enough, you may come upon what appear to be ice guardians. Those "ice guardians", the Freazers, are the inhabitants of this planet that are more ice than organism. Measuring an astounding 40 meters (more than 130 feet), they usually stand still and rarely move lot. They are also rather quiet and don't talk much either. Because of their traits, they tend to be mistaken for colossal ice statues.

lowkey the children should push halloween to tomorrow too its gonna be snowing/freezing rain all day

Deciding I can extend Halloween season for as long as I want since it happens during chronic illness hell month so I can only be festive part-time. Maybe less than part time tbh. I’m festive but in a contract worker kind of way and commission is shitty as fuck.

It was a beutifull winter nigth

The snow slowly falls into the ground as you walk

You were invited to a forest like part of the City you know, you haven’t been in for a while. To be honest you have only known the place only for your eyes, you have never been in here but today, you have come here for your friend, BanBan

As you adentered the place you felt scared, who know what stuff were going to happen to you two in such a place in the middle of the nigth

Your fears sudenly wased away as you heard the sound of a familiar voice.

It was BanBan's

"Hey... long time no see"

He said as he loked away, you culd tell that he was a little bit blushed, even thoug his clay like skin was already red

To be honest, you have seen each other this morning, as he insisted for you to come to this one spot in this forest like place, leaving you alone for the rest of the day, you really dislike to be away from him, becuase of how Lionel you feel withaut your great friend BanBan, the only one yoy trust, the only one you admire, the only one you look up to...

The only one you love

He had a smug smile and a guitar in his back, he said that you two were alone in this place and that you don’t have to worry because he will always protect you if anything happens. You culdn’t help but feel something tingling inside your chest as he said that. You just felt you eyes go big and your smile widenign, you felt so dumb, but he was amused

"Thats a pretty face you've got" he said

You tanked him and looked away, as you tryed to hide the masive blush of your face while you said that it is an ugly old thing, that you wish it were prettier

"Well i think it is already pretty pretty" he said as his smile widened

"Oh! By the way!" He said as he pointed a direction "i set a table and some chairs in there, i brougt something to eat, lets go!" He made you follow him "i hope its still hot!" He said cherfully as he took your hand and helped you go foward

When you two sat down he brougt some bug tupperwear and served you your favorite dish

"I hope you like it! I tried to follow the recipe as good as i culd..."

You asked how did he know that that was your favorite dish

He said " it is because... um... uhhh.... how do i say this withaut you getting mad....."

You already got suspicious

"Your friend.... she told me...becuase i asked her..."

You told him that there is nothing wrong with that, but he culd have asked you instead

He chucled, as he poured some of ypur favorite drink

You asked, how did he knew your favorite drink

He said "i didn’t, this is my favorite drink..." he chucled again, you both end up laugthing

And he looked at you with dreamy eyes

When you both finished eating you literally leave a mess, but you were having such a good time that you didn’t care that you will probably be in trouble or that tonigth its freazing, the warmt that you both feel at the moment was enougth for the both of you

You realize that BanBan has got that guitar from the beguining, but you were kinda shy to ask... until he noticed you looking at it for a while

"Do you like music?"

You asked why

"Becuase i've got something for you" he said as he took the guitar and started playing

It was a serenade

It talked abaut the time you both meet, the things that you both did, how did you became friends, and how he felt when you were there just for him

It talked on how he felt and how did he tryed to manage his emotions towards you, it talked how he apologised for sucking at romanic stuff and how did he wish he were better just to make you happier

His deep monotone voice made you melt, it made you feel stuff that you though that you culd never feel towards others it feelt like heaven, and he looked at you with those eyes, those eyes that you were already ready to die for

His song finished...

It wasn’t a song worth a gramy, but it literally won your heart

He looked back at you, confident, apasionatly, wjen he asked

"What do you say, Gutzygumsho3...."

"Will you be mine?"

I really need to talk to karma. Like we need to sit down and see eye to eye and have an adult conversation.

I am a kind person, I really try to be warm and welcoming and patient and mostly kind to FUCKING everyone. In my core I am a people-pleaser but it doesn't bothers me at all. I just want to make people happy. It genuinely makes me happy too.

So why I live in the bigest shit-show in my life?! And to top everything:

My cat was so sick ( he is well now) I payed a small fortune to the vet. Our gas stove stopped working, it was freazing inside untill the guy to repair it came. We had a gas leak. I'm paying him with money I don't have, my bank will be elated. Oh, and the kid is back on asthma meds after 3 years of clear bill of health.

So, do not think I wont slip some laxative to karma caffee, when they not looking. I'm on my wits end.

IM FREAZING I sat close to windo on the bus, facing forward. Now the seat is warm, but I wana lean against the windo, BUT ITS METALIC ICE I'm doing it anyways, while typing this, ocainaly mistyping because A SHIVER IS SENT DOWN MY SPINE. But I'll fix them.

TMA vs insomnia, go.

What a weird night I've had.

It was late Sunday evening, and I can be a responsible adult sometimes, so knowing I'll have to get up at 6:30 I turned off my computer shortly before mightnight and went to sleep. Or tried to. Now, I do sometimes get random bouts of insomnia, when I go trough weeks of maybe 4 hours of sleep on weekdays, because I'm to wired to go to bed at reasonable time; much rarer are individual nights when without warning I'm lying down and tired to the bone, but just can't fall asleep. Today was one of those days, but I made it stranger than usuall. There are two factors I'm going to 'blame' here.

One was the weather. After a month of pretty mild winter, yesterday the temperature rapidly dropped to 13oC below zero while air pressure skyrocketed. This is what I think caused me to spend post midnight hours tossing and turning.

The other is the fact that I've been binging Magnus Archives for the past week.

When at some point I checked the time and saw it was going on 2 am and I wasn't any closer to falling asleep than 2 hours prior, I decided, what the hell, I might as well listen to spooky bedtime stories and hope for the best. And so I grabbed my phone, turned volume as low as it would go and listned to a couple episodes before deciding it was enough, and putting the phone away. Half an hour later I realized that sleep still wasn't happening, so I grabbed the phone again. I repeated this process several times, and only once I suddenly got confused about what was happening, checked the phone, and saw that I was a few minutes into an episode with a title I didn't recognize. But I only had to go one episode back and found a familiar spot halfway through it, so I know I only nodded off for 15 minutes tops. And I was once again wide awake, and so I continued to listen.

And then, eventually, my alarm clock went of and I got up, dressed and put in my contacts and went into the winter morning/night and drove to work, watching in real time the fog of my breacth freazing on the windshield into the most beautiful tiny fractal flowers.

I'm there now, sitting at the computer, and when I look out the window, I see the first lines of dawn in the sky behind the line of leafless trees. A day of work lies ahead.

P.S. all through the drive I also felt strangly awake, and kept wondering if I'm actually clear headed and alert, or was I like that thing when drunk people would swear they are not drunk at all, and if I was, in fact, barely awake and about to drive right throug a shop window any second. I've never been so carefull navigating the iced-over turns as today, I can tell you that. :D
