Name: Mary Frances "Frannie" Fabray
Birth Date: September 15th, 1984
Occupation: Corporate Lawyer and Division Recruit
Ability: Ice Manipulation
Personality: [+] Resilient, Poised, Strategic [-] Guarded, Perfectionist, Manipulative
Resilient— Frannie has faced immense challenges in her life, from personal struggles to societal expectations, and has always found a way to rise above them. Her ability to adapt and recover, even in the face of tragedy, makes her a steady and dependable figure.
Poised— Raised in an environment where appearances mattered more than feelings, Frannie carries herself with grace and confidence. Her presence commands attention, and she remains composed under pressure, a skill critical in her role as a crisis negotiator.
Strategic— Frannie is a thinker. She calculates every move, anticipating the consequences and planning her actions meticulously. Her ability to read people and situations makes her an invaluable asset in high-stakes environments.
Guarded— Beneath her composed exterior, Frannie has built walls around her true feelings. Her upbringing taught her to bury vulnerability, and even as an adult, she struggles to let people in, making her relationships complex and often distant.
Perfectionist— Frannie’s drive to meet impossibly high standards, instilled by her upbringing, leads to constant self-criticism. She often feels the need to prove herself, pushing herself to extremes to achieve success.
Manipulative— While she is not malicious, Frannie knows how to influence others to achieve her goals. Her ability to project an air of calm authority often allows her to steer situations in her favor, sometimes at the expense of transparency.
History:
Mary Frances "Frannie" Fabray grew up in Lima, Ohio, the oldest daughter in a conservative household that valued appearances above all else. Her childhood was a cocktail of rigid expectations and concealed emotions. Though she exuded the image of the perfect girl next door—head cheerleader, straight-A student—she was silently battling the pressure to conform to her family’s ideal of success.
After a tumultuous high school experience marked by the discovery of her powers and social ostracism, Frannie graduated with a renewed sense of purpose. Determined to take control of her life, she pursued higher education at a prestigious university. Frannie earned her Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Columbia University, where she excelled academically and cultivated her passion for law and strategic thinking.
She then attended Harvard Law School, graduating in the top 10% of her class with a Juris Doctor (J.D.). During her time there, she interned at top corporate law firms and participated in mock trial competitions, solidifying her reputation as a sharp, ambitious legal mind.
Following her graduation and successful completion of the bar exam, Frannie quickly rose through the ranks at a high-powered New York City law firm. Specializing in corporate law, she became known for her ability to navigate complex negotiations and high-stakes deals, earning her a reputation as one of the best in her field.
Her work caught the attention of the Division, which recognized her unique combination of legal expertise and ice manipulation abilities. Frannie now serves as both a corporate lawyer and a Division recruit, using her powers and intellect to defuse crises and negotiate delicate situations.
While her professional life is one of discipline and focus, her personal life remains complicated. The icy exterior she projects mirrors her emotional state, often keeping people at a distance. Despite this, her dedication to the Division and its mission has earned her respect and admiration.
Frannie’s mastery over her abilities and her sharp mind make her a force to be reckoned with, but her greatest challenge remains allowing herself to truly connect with others and melt the walls she’s built around herself.

↪ Have you heard about FRANNIE FABRAY? SHE is 41 and hails from LIMA, OHIO. Looks exactly like AJ COOK, and is TAKEN.
“I think almost everyone tries hard to be good and just finds out too late they should have tried softer.”
↪ IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
FULL NAME: Francine “Frannie” Grace Fabray DATE OF BIRTH: January 04 SEXUALITY & GENDER: Polyamorous Lesbian & CisFemale RELATIONSHIP STATUS: Married and Open POSITIVE & NEGATIVE TRAITS: Hardworking, Benevolent & Adaptive. Distant, Argumentative & Sarcastic. OCCUPATION: Owner of Rose Noir and Sassy Nights CITY: New York, NYC
↪ HEADCANONS:
Francine Fabray was the accident. Had to Judy and Russell Fabray shortly after high school, forcing the pair to do “the right thing” and marry young. Despite this, Frannie was always her parents’ so-called “golden” child. She was the bar upon which her younger sister was measured. Smart, well-rounded, the kind of child that never put up too much fuss and did as she was told with ease. An athlete and a scholar, it seemed that whatever she tried, she did well. It was all surface level, however, but she never let it show. Frannie skipped a grade early in her schooling and nearly skipped a second grade going into high school, but chose not to. Either way, she was the head cheerleader, a soccer star, debate team captain, and excelled in every aspect of school and life that she tried, except for relationships. In fact, she seemed completely disinterested in boys and relationships. She was a devout Christian and claimed that she saw no reason in letting boys even begin to be a temptation.
After graduating high school, Frannie left home for college, eventually getting into Harvard’s law school. She did her best to keep up with her family, but her schooling was always her first priority. In fact, the longer she was at college, the less she heard from her family and the less she went home. She was working on her own well-being and destroying the parts of herself that her parents had built up.
While in law school, Frannie had a mental breakdown. She’d been struggling massively with everything and it led to her nearly ending up in a psychiatric hospital. She was diagnosed with ADHD and started therapy to help deal with it, as well as the anxiety, depression, and other issues that came up because of it. She also began to get help for an eating disorder that had been plaguing her since her early childhood. It did wonders for her and she managed to pull through her law degree with flying colors.
Frannie began working for the DA’s office as early as she could. She was, typically speaking, dedicated to her work, but had a few relationships going at various times. Her boss, a man a few years older than her, was very much convinced that because she was polyamorous he had any kind of chance with him. He was rather demanding and she eventually gave in, to try and keep things from escalating. He wasn’t the best guy and over the years, Frannie started documenting the various things he did and said to her, only staying with him because she feared how he might react if she actually broke it off with him, as he’d shown himself to have a rather violent temper and also held power over her at work. Then, having grown tired of Frannie refusing him sexually, he forced himself on her. In the aftermath, she reported him to the police, and between her documentation of his actions and the fact the brute force used landed Frannie in the hospital with a shattered shoulder and collar bone, he was sentenced. However, in the fallout of everything, Frannie found herself taking cases too personally and quit working for the DA’s office. Instead, Frannie worked odd jobs to make money and took up pole dancing as a hobby. In a lot of ways, it helped her refocus her energy and empowered her to do something new with her life.
Frannie eventually went to work as a pole dance instructor, while also putting herself through business school. She had a number of ideas that she wanted to delve into and knowing how to successfully run a business would definitely help in the long run.
At the age of 35, Frannie opened Luxe. Luxe was Frannie’s passion project, built from the ground up, it was a strip club, but better. She vowed to put her employees first, vowing that any misconduct occurring by patrons would not only cause the patron to be barred entry, but taken to court to be prosecuted under the full extent of the law. A promise that Frannie proved to be serious about within only a few short months of opening. Frannie chose not to discriminate in hiring, willing to work with anyone and everyone who applied. While she’d grown up in an affluent family, she wasn’t blind to the ways many struggled to get by and wanted to build a business that was something to be proud of, both as an employee and as an owner.
The year following the opening Luxe led to even more good things for Frannie. She married her long-time partner, Eabha, an Irish fiddler she met while the other was on a break and visiting family. They’d started their relationship with the knowledge that it probably wouldn’t go anywhere too romantically, with Eabha spending much of her year in Ireland and the surrounding areas. However, time proved them wrong and Frannie was more than happy to marry the older woman.
With Luxe handed off to a trusted employee and good friend, Frannie set her sights on New York City. She wasn’t sure what she was looking for, but she found a club in need of new ownership and easily took it over. Overhauling how things are run and set up with very little issue and establishing the same rules from Luxe. Rose Noir is, to most, simply a dance club, with very private upper floors. However, to those in the know, Rose Noir offers a much more personal experience, hidden behind high fees and NDAs. It is a high-end kink club, where nightly shows are put on by employees and patrons alike. She also took ownership of Sassy Nights.
Frannie is an adrenaline junkie. She owns a motorcycle and does parkour. Her other hobbies include skateboarding and woodworking. The more she can be active, the better. Due to the damage to her shoulder, Frannie is prone to dislocating it but has always had a high pain tolerance, once breaking her knee while in high school and apparently “walking it off” as it went unknown until sometime in her twenties.
Over the years, Frannie turned from Christianity to paganism, finding peace in the belief that there wasn’t some all-knowing, omnipotent being seeing all but doing nothing, but instead a series of gods and goddesses, typically not interfering in the ways of man, but sometimes messing it up.
Following the completion of her home renovation project and Yule in Ireland, Frannie returned to Boston at the beginning of 2024. She spent much of her time with her girlfriend and also had surgery on her shoulder to properly set it in place and help prevent further injury and dislocations. The recovery from it was long and tedious, with her only returning to NYC in late May.
↪ IMPORTANT CONNECTIONS:
RUSSELL FABRAY (Father (Estranged)): Frannie’s relationship with her father was one based somewhat entirely on her being perfect. A fragile thing that she slowly learned wasn’t healthy for her and is, in part, why she became more and more distant from her family the longer she was away from home. It almost came as no surprise to Frannie that her father was a cheater and had an entirely separate family. JUDY FABRAY (Mother (Estranged)): Frannie’s relationship with her mother was always one based on her looks and her place in society. It was never something she held close and in time, much like her relationship with her father, began to fall apart. EABHA FABRAY (Wife): Eabha was the only one of her partners who stuck by her when her boss/ex assaulted her. They’d been together for a year before the event and married shortly after Frannie opened Luxe. Eabha is Frannie’s favorite person in the entire world and while she knows she’d never have to run a partner through her wife, she always tends to, if only because sometimes it means her wife also finds a relationship with the person. QUINN FABRAY (Younger Sister): Frannie and Quinn never really got on. Between the age difference and Frannie being the bar against Quinn was measured, no real relationship was capable of forming and by the time Frannie had completely distanced herself from their parents, any hope of a relationship between them disappeared. Over the last few years, she’s tried to form some kind of connection with her sister but she’d be the first to tell you that she tends to be too busy for her own good in this scenario. AVERY, DANIEL & JULIETTE FABRAY (Half Siblings): Frannie wouldn’t say she’s super close with Jules, but there is some kind of relationship there, even if more because of the younger woman’s instance than anything. Frannie has not actually met the other two in person but has no ill will towards them, if anything, she feels bad for them, also having Russell as a father.

Private:
not to worry the court case is on the sixth of August so if you can wait two more days I can give you those documents as well. which I appreciate that you are being so loyal despite everything, I too don't want to cheat on Britt, so until it's official, I will just go for a drink and a good conversation.

PRIVATE:
As a lawyer, even if not a divorce one, I know better than to toe the line when it comes to things actually being final. Because she could still contest this. So, until the paperwork from the judge comes in saying that it's fully final, nothing too fun will be happening between us. Drinks, I can do, but nothing more. Infidelity could come back to bite you in the ass, even if things are technically over because there's a vast difference between filed and final, and while this is a step in the correct direction, I'm going to stay a safe distance, for both our sakes.

The Brice Family ✤ Centre Stage
Antonio "Tony" Motta-Brice & Keegan Brice (dads; mid 40s) Carter Brice (31) Kaia Brice & Malia Brice (28/29) Mateo Brice (19) Carla Vasquez-Brice (15) Maci & Chelsie Brice (13) Zane Brice (12) Ava Brice (6)
Ages are based on season 1, all of them are adopted (Chelsie & Zane are full siblings, parents put them up for adoption when Zane was an infant), and Tony & Keegan adopt Beth at the end of season 1
As the only one who remembers her bio parents (she was 5 when they died, Carla survived a car accident and they didn't), Carla chose to hyphenate her last name to honour them and gets very annoyed when people only call her by one of them
Carter Brice is the same age as Josh St James and they've been friends for most of their lives, and Kaia & Malia Brice were high school friends of Amelie Kline, Lindsay Wright, and Franny Fabray
Carla has spent her life doing community theatre with both Josh and Shelby Corcoran and they're both part of the family, she also considers Jesse to be an honorary extra sibling, and there is always an extra bed at the Brice house for anyone who might need it, their children's friends are all considered family
After The Incident™, Carla's dads seriously discussed moving out of Lima, but that would have also involved moving four children 11 and under, so instead Carla asked if she could move in with her uncle Al and favourite cousin Sugar, and she lived with them until Al and his wife (Kamilah Motta) decided to get a divorce, which led her to finally returning to her dads and siblings for her sophomore year of high school

from the journal of: quinn fabray-collins. dated: november 8, 2024
tomorrow i leave la to head to ohio. it's been four years since i've even been back in my home town, but i think it's finally time to go back. i haven't seen frannie or the kids in months, and my mom has been begging me to bring the kids home for christmas for a few years now. ben is not very keen on me being away from the house for so many weeks, even less so once i told him i don't plan on vlogging during our time apart, but i need a break. i'm so exhausted from being on all the time. it feels like my life isn't real, it's all an elaborate show for some faceless, nameless viewer clicking a like button.
( in the margins · remind alex to upload next week's video on tuesday, and have her run the video by this weeks sponsor. also, find out who this weeks sponsor even is. )
i've been invited by my old high school to participate in the annual arts showcase this year, apparently that's a thing now? since when does mckinley celebrate the arts? that's new. i was a bit hesitant at first, but i think having the kids spend some time in a place where no one is famous and there aren't any cameras will be good for them. and beth's been texting me a lot lately, it'll be good to see her again in person. plus...i admit, i've been a bit curious about my old classmates. i saw tina at an event in la a few weeks back and just being around a familiar face felt...grounding. plus it's been years since i've done anything performance related. thank god for la connections, i've managed to get in a few vocal and dance lessons before leaving for ohio so i won't seem totally incompetent in front of everyone. something needs to change. here's hoping a trip back home will do the trick, i'm at the end of my rope.
to do list: □ pick up the dry cleaner □ call alex, leave instructions for next week □ send raw footage to vince □ finish packing □ double check everyone's passports □ call shelby □ call in darcy's prescription

“A smart decision.” He noted at not trusting people much. “Plus people don’t listen very well. Hopefully, we’re out of here before it turns all Belko Experiment up in here. Who do you think is gonna go all alpha dog and try to boss everyone around?” JBI’s eyes follow her line of sight. “Ooh, I wanna know what they’re arguing about. If it’s good, I’m sure I’ll hear about it, later”
He continued walking with her and the box. “It’s always been a sport I love too. Why was swimming a disaster?” He asked, curiously. Not assuming it was any big secret. It’s clear, as they carry the box, that the woman’s side has more strength holding it up, but JBI isn’t surprised by that at all. He’s not the most athletic guy. His strength has always lied in having tough skin, being shameless, and delusional confidence.
“Okay, let me see… I’m a freshman, I enjoy blogging, reporting, AV club, Britney Spears, and trolling the internet. I’m not allowed to join competitive clubs because of sports rage and I can fit twenty-two grapes in my mouth without dying.” He grinned. “My favorite animal is frogs, I grew up in Southern California, and I cannot stand Canon camera products.” Just then he notices the jock’s argument start to escalate. “Hold on, I gotta see this.” He set the box on a table and rushed to the action.
Tumblr media
It was kind of Jacob to offer help, and Frannie's eyes landed on him with an appreciative smile. "Just the one!" She confirmed, strengthening her grip on the side of the box that she was holding before they started to move. "Well, while it sounds in theory like a good idea to bring the people to the box, I have limited trust in people. And right now, it's absolute chaos. Bringing the box to the entrance of the gymnasium will mean we can distribute to everyone equally as they arrive." Her eyes deliberately slid across the room, landing intentionally on a group of jocks arguing and three cheerleaders still crying about their mobile service. "As you can see, I don't think people are in the kind of mood to be thinking logically." A small smirk rested on her lips as she spoke, mainly because it amused her just how differently people reacted to a crisis.
Readying her hands against the edge of the box, Frannie started moving backwards, stepping carefully to make sure she wasn't bumping into anything. She quirked an eyebrow at his question. "Cheerleading has always been a sport I've loved. I've always enjoyed being competitive, though, so I tried swimming when I was a senior. It was nothing short of a disaster." She gave a smile in memory, continuing to weave in and out of the groups of students. "How about you? Tell me about you."

hey poetz, hope you’re doing well! i was reading thru some db asks and saw a few where you spoke briefly about the berrymen passing and also about how quinn would react to russell’s inevitable death, but i didn’t see anything about judy. i can’t imagine how difficult her death would be for quinn, especially considering she essentially already lost her father — do you have any thoughts on judy’s passing in db?
Tumblr media
Judy’s passing will hit all the Fabrays pretty hard. Judy puts in a lot of work to undo the hurt she inflicted on her daughter(s) in the bad, wine-drunk time, and her relationship with Quinn (and Frannie) is on really good terms in her golden years, and, of course, her grand-kids adore her. She even has a fairly solid relationship with Rachel by the time Celeste is born, so losing her means losing a mother for both Quinn and Rachel and a grandma for their girls. That really sucks.
I imagine that, by then, Frannie and Quinn have fixed all the major issues with their relationship too - they’re already on pretty good terms again when Celeste comes along - so I think they’ll really help each other through all the heart-wrenching work of settling Judy’s estate and the major cleanup that comes with sorting out a lifetime of stuff. I feel like Judy’s health would be noticeably in decline prior to her death, so they’re all going to know it’s coming and make an effort to spend time with her and get some arrangements sorted before the inevitable end. There will be a thousand tears, the remembering of good times and not-so-good times, and the assurances that they made the most of every moment they had with Judy.
