This makes me think of both the Bull that resulted in the Minotaur, and the Bull that people got cooked in… either way I would be wary of this…

It's 15th February, which is apparently World Hippo Day, so here's an excellent hippo I saw at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris last year. It was designed by François-Xavier Lalanne in 1968–1969, and is in fact a bathroom in disguise! Its body opens to become a bathtub and its head flips up to reveal a handbasin.

Ok I'm really curious about that bar though - is that a known mythological hybrid? It looks like it has a cat head and teats that resemble those of a cat or dog, but also hooves like a horse or cow, a fish tail, and wings. Is there a name for that, or did Lalanne just mash together some fun animals?
