Yesss, but like imagine Theodore being a platonic yandere for his childhood bestie Y/n. He knows you inside out and knows every struggle you've been through, all your secrets, even the ones you've never disclosed to him (yes, he was outside your window on October 12th, 2008 when you didnt come to school because you were "sick" as you had told him but had actually started your period).

Imagine just how overprotective he is, and he's so mean about it too. Its in his nature. He's glaring at you as you tell him that he had no right to beat up your date just because that man had his arm around your waist because you were okay with it. Ofc he just rolls his eyes and tells you that you're too stupid to know what guys are actually like, that you dont know about the "locker room talk" and he's just trying to keep you safe from pervs but ofc youre too "dense" to see it. You could've thought that he might be doing it because he's interested in you like that, but no, he violently cringes at the mere suggestion of your friends that you two fight like a married couple, not to mention how he treats you more like a sibling than your own. Bullying you constantly, messing up your hair, putting you in headlocks as often as he could, kicking the back of your knees to watch you flop on the ground, anything he could do to annoy you.

But he's also very helpful, yknow? He pretends like he couldnt give a rats ass about your existence but will just scoff and yank your assignment from your hands and complete it. Working on your college essay? He reads it, insults you at how stupid it is, then write one for you in one sitting, actually writing about your personal experiences that moves the admission officers to fucking tears at the pure raw emotion it draws out of them. About to leave for a date and you ripped your dress? Signs to you that this is just universe telling you to ditch the guy but then one look at your sad face and he's pulling out an emergency needle kit from his pocket and sewing it up. He'll think of another way to end your date <3

Theodore is also very possessive of you. Even as kids, he would throw sand in other kids eyes just so that theyre too busy crying to approach you and try to play with you. In highschool, he's already built like a transformer and with him having this mean look on his face, people definitely hesitated to approach you, especially when you have this brooding man standing behind you, intimidating everyone who dared to step within 5 feet of you. Now that you two are adults, and Theo is still working as a spy, he would use his skills to take out people that become a little to important to you.

I feel like Theo isn't an animal person, he is definitely not a people person, but he also doesn't care much for pets and it's not even cause his work doesn't allow him to care for pets properly but I still think that he would get a dog trained specifically to keep you out of danger. Or more particularly, keep you in home and bark (and bite/mutilate) anyone who is not him. So if you got a date, make sure he's not picking you up from home.

Definitely definitely finds a way to make you move in with him, if not live next to him. Of course, he has a different place where he keeps his work stuff and gear hidden, but he needs to live with you for his own sanity. And even though he has trackers hidden all over your clothes and belongings, he still likes to ask you where you are, what you're upto, etc, just to see if you'd lie to him. And if you do, be prepared for a very pissed off Theo who is just huffing and puffing all day because how dare you not trust him, your best friend???? Offensive.

But also, when he finds out that someone, anyone made you cry, or even is causing you to stress out, guess who's pulling out their murder gloves?

she also would constantly make fun of peoples looks in a joking way (myself included) and when i told her to stop she'd play innocent like it was just a harmless joke, begrudgingly apologize, and do it again like a week later. i've observed this sort of underhanded behaviour in two mercury women so i think they might have a habit of it? i get complimented a lot and yes i'm tooting my own horn here but i am very good looking however she had an OBSESSION with getting unflattering photos of me and then sending them to our friends "as a joke" and then would play the victim when i got mad. like sorry i don't want our whole social circle thinking i look like albino shrek omg

- goro akechi is an alias and not his real name! his name is Kogoro Hirai. this idea in my mind is that his mom named him after Kogoro Akechi in the first place, the fictional private detective created by Japanese mystery writer Edogawa Ranpo. (whos name is actually Taro Hirai. is their family related at all? who knows.) it was his moms favorite series when she was a little girl. and when he was making this new "Persona" he just. cut the ko out of kogoro and went with akechi. its all references. also kind of really sentimental at its roots when you think about it,, when it comes to his mom and how he wanted to be a hero for her.

kogoro was a kid chasing a pipe dream of revenge, but he wasnt completely stupid. once he started making his plans, he couldnt risk shido recognizing his Actual Name.  he also really liked the image it conjured up in his mind. of when he finally takes down shido and reveals who he Really is.

- hes a dog person. its not like he hates cats, he just prefers dogs. kogoro hirai sees a dog he just. !!! a friend. put a puppy in front of him and he experiences the Cute Rage™️ and tears up a lot. ("kinda wanna cry right now. i am so normal") resists the natural urge to just go complete baby talk mode. he actually gets a emotional support animal of his own. a retriever/shiba mix named senbei! - hes a big nerd about jazz. its something hes actually really passionate about. his mom used to play jazz on their radio and he wanted to learn to play a lot of instruments as a child. kogoro does learn how to play the trumpet. he goes a long time without touching the instrument, though... with all his jobs... its sad. but!! when he actually starts studying music/jazz in uni, he picks it up again. 📃 - OK SO. without like, spoiling too many plot points, our main character is cara and she lives with her grandmother. her mom is dead and dad is out of the picture. one day theyre getting chased by these people that her grandma knows and cara gets thrown into an alternate realm full of fantasy creatures using her grandmothers amulet. she meets a unicorn named lightfoot and a bunch of other rad people and basically, starts a journey to save that world from the Hunters. the Hunters are an organisation who specifically hate unicorns and want them all dead, led by Beloved, and cara and her friends have to try and stop them from entering the world and wiping them out. its sooo so so good and i highly recommend it cause i have no one to talk to about it please god

howls moving castle: must i have a logical reason? is it not to vicariously live my fantasy of running away to the countryside with a wizard boyfriend, his demon and his apprentice?? for real though, its such a fantastic story with beautiful visuals in the movie and wonderfully compelling prose in the book, and esp in the movie the whole time travel subplot with sophie seeing howl and calcifer in the past and then howl finding her in the future makes me go feral

penumbra: gays in space. need i say more? im a huge slut for gay found family and especially in futuristic space, and im a huge big fan of the lgbt utopia its created. like yeah capitalism sucks but at least im not gonne get misgendered in space starbucks, u kno? all the writing and dialogue is so incredible and the SOUND DESIGN GOD, alex i know u specifically can relate when i say i would kill a man for sophie and her incredible sound design skills, like dude the dance scene in man in glass p2 you can hear every single individual step they take and every swish of junos dress and i jusT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god its so good, plus the whole the characters help me work through my trauma and repressed anger haha

911: this one is entirely your fault. so obligatory horny on main everyone on that show is so hot i want oliver stark to cradle me gently in his beefy arms oh my god. other than Men, the way it drives home the whole ‘you can’t save everyone, and it will kill you to try, so just focus on what you can do and keep living’ makes me so emo. the way it tackles big bureaucratic issues as well as closer to home interpersonal ones is amazing and i love how it shows people going through and dealing realistically with trauma.

treasure planet: again, who doesnt want to live in Cool Steampunk Space Travel Future? i really really love jims story and his arc, the way he deals with his trauma is uhh very familiar lol and his relationship with silver is like the ideal. the story is just the coolest concept and i love all the wonderful character design and animation, plus the soundtrack SLAPS and everything is beautiful

legend of zelda: ive been associated with this series from a very young age due to my name and as soon as i gave into my fate and looked it up for real i just kinda fell into it lol. i cant really tell you exactly what draws me to it besides ‘wow fun game!’ and ‘god i wish that were me,’ but like the absurd amount of detail thats put into each installment and the creative ways they retell essentially the same/similar story over and over is incredible

guardians of gahoole: so i had the same experience with this and treasure planet which is i remembered ‘oh hey this is a movie that exists and i cant clearly remember watching it, ill look it up :)’ and then it consumed my life for a solid 3 months. firstly this movie is absolutely gorgeous, the animation and framing is fucking stunning and the way they handled owls talking like people as far as the movement of their very inflexible beaks was amazing. it sort of has the same draw for me as warrior cats? secret animal society ft incredibly traumatic experiences and the characters dealing with it. like, the whole concept is just so fuckign wild and it works so well, i rly enjoy this niche genre.

💎 - alright trivia time, so guardians of gahoole is based on a book series and the movie only covers part of the first arc i think idk, BUT theres another series set in the same universe called wolves of the beyond that i devoured when i was younger! i didnt know they were connected for the longest time and when i found out i was :000, i still rly love wolves of the beyond and wanna reread it, as well as read the actual gahoole books. in the howls books, sophie is a redhead! also, markl is named michael and like a fully functioning young adult who ends up marrying one of sophies sisters. treasure planet is, obviously, based off treasure island but its so much better than the book dont bother reading it lol i tried and it was boring. there was plans for a treasure planet sequel that was fully scripted and cast but it was cancelled cause disney sabotaged treasure planet from the start with the shitty release and advertising and tldr we were ROBBED, also amelias concept was much more octopus like and while that wldve been rad im p glad she was switched to a cat for. several reasons lol. uhh i dont have a lot of Fun Facts abt the unicorn chronicles but for the longest time i thought there were only 3 books and then last year i found the fourth book by chance in a kitsch store and nearly had a breakdown i was so happy, like full on i started shaking and crying cause there was so much joy in my body i cldnt contain it.

i will take this chance to talk about what i think Lan Zhan felt throughout the story

to begin with he just, a lonely guy. he barely got to see his mom once a month and the fact he still waited for her after her passing makes me think he developed a few of someone leaving. at least passing away. and he was like a little little kid. i believe he also likes memories, he probably tries his best to remember his mom or keep things about her as a reminder of her, not cannon but i’ll explain more why i think so

Lan Zhan first meeting Wuxian ofc really didn’t enjoy him sm because of Wuxian literally breaking several clan rules at once JSKSK. honestly i have a difficult time seeing how he feels especially in the dongin.

moving on to wuxian flirting with him ✨ wuxian messes with him a lot a lot and often kinda influenced interest. and i think it messed with lan zhans feelings KSKSKSK. on one hand he didn’t wanna tolerate wuxian but other times he was truly touched by him and his words ✨and actiooons. so i do think lan zhan developed something mini or it sparked something in him or he believe wuxian is a genuine guy.

untilllll he kisses wuxian and wuxian boost how he apperantly kissed plenty before (which is a lie wuxian just didn’t know lan zhan was the one who kissed him and wuxian was completely boosting himself JSKSKS) and lan zhan was very offended and even seemed to dislike when Wuxian flirted with MiamMiam. Lan zhan asking if wuxian does the same with everyone, made me think Lan Zhan felt special until wuxian spew words.

what i also think is the clan rules influenced Lan zhan. no one but your said fated mate can take off your head band✨✨✨✨ so when wuxian does it like 3 times or even touched it several and teased him it’s crooked. Lan zhan got so mad and he just really hated it and would’ve loved to stop wuxian from touching it if he could get the chance.

on the other hand the situation could’ve influenced lan zhan into thinking they are fated mates. such as when you have a crush on someone you then try to prevent crush from happening but then you think of things with them and get happy. developing a even bigger crush.

this is where i believe that’s why he kissed wuxian randomly KSNWLQK i think he got frustrated from all of that plus wuxian doing demonic arts. bro was fid up fr fr

so by this point he cares for wuxian, truly and probably cared for him the most the whole time. Lan zhan kept trying to let wuxian know there’s consequences to doing demonic arts. he wanted to make sure wuxian was okay and didn’t let himself drown into the bad stuff.

i also think he’s a softie 🤔 when yuan was around he didn’t mind him at all.

i also would like to mention whenever Lan zhans brother always knew lan zhan wanted to talk to wuxian. he pointed it out like twice.

i think what pained me most from whag Lan zhan has ever said was “there’s someone i want to take home with me, hide them away, but they’re unwilling” think this was his way of wanting to run away with wuxian and live a happy life. it pained me too much both times in animated series and dongin in this scene hh:(

time to move on to the death of wuxian. this must’ve been a extremely slap. i say this because Lan zhan tried. so Hard. to bring Wuxian to gusu with. “come to gusu with me” (killed me as well i would cry) so he really did care for wuxian and imagine if he had feelings for him as well as believed wuxian could of been his fated mate that would mean his lover Died. like. i know as the viewer wuxian comes back.

BUT LAN ZHAN DIDNT KNOW THAT (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`).

he would literally do so much to remember him for ever or to keep him close. he really did the research to possibly prove wuxian wasn’t a bad guy. he kept books with wuxian hand writing and flowers from wuxian. Lan zhan doesn’t even DRINK but he kept the drink emperors smile in reminder of wuxian as well a flute to remind him. h:(

and when he found Yuan at the burial mountains? he gave him the courtesy name that meant to lone for something from the pass or to miss something.

DEPRESSING

this, makes me feel like Lan zhan became a quiet person again. he never spoke sm or showed empitones anyways but. he seems to have just went in his own bubble again alone…

and now to when Wuxian is back.

not in the same body but Lan zhan knew it was wuxian because when wuxian played a song on the flute it was Lan Zhans OG song. so bro knew from the start.

from the animated series tho. Lan zhan is so protective like he protects wuxian sm every single time and NEVER left him alone. it’s like he has him bck and he’s definitely not gonna let him go away again.

as for the dongin it seems like he’s more free ig??? as in hes more expressive to wuxian. shares a little more especially to tell wuxian to not be annoying ISNSKS. but i also think his love for wuxian is more shown. he doesn’t drink but he drinks for him. he doesn’t eat spicy food but he orders it for him. taking care of him and he’s also extemely couscous when wuxian is injured. he even let’s wuxian drink while injured but reminds him to not drink sm cuz he’s healing still.

as well as he doesn’t give a flying fuck about wuxian touching his headband KSKSKSK.

i’m very glad that wuxian recognizes that lan zhan always cared for him, wuxian does regret it and show guilt about it so i’m so glad he actually can acknowledge it now.

by the end and when everything is cleared up and Wuxian finally lives with Lan zhan In Gusu. i believe he is happy to have him again and this time not leaving
