I was thinking about what features my pebble interpretation would have and I decided to do something more literal with the "both machine and organism". I'm thinking the puppet wouldn't have as hard of a time exiting the cycle if it was fully mechanical.

So anyway, "jello-coated" skeleton with blood and fuel tubes. This is not exactly what I imagined, it's more on the abstract side. But the pebble should be a little translucent.

Five Pebbles is so funny. Shoutout to characters who learn to prioritize compassion but still have the same deep-rooted self-actualization and self-worth issues they always had. Shoutout to characters who use compassion as a bludgeon to hurt themselves with under the guise of self-sacrifice. Shoutout to the guilt that drives one to heap blame upon themself until they feel the only way to atone is through punishment. That’s just as much about inflicting misery upon yourself as it is about helping the person you hurt. Get therapy king.

Five Pebbles, the Idea vs. Five Pebbles, the Iterator: Everyone knows Five Pebbles is rude as fuck. ((horrible opening)) But who knows what he’s thinking? Who knows why he has cancer spaghetti? ((from trying to find the solution? also gross)) And why do we think about him as fondly as we think of the mythical (nonexistent?) Void Fluid? ((???)) Perchance. ((You can’t just say “perchance”)) / I believe it was Kant who said “Experience without theory is blind, but theory without experience is mere intellectual play.” Five Pebbls exhibits experience by getting cancer spaghett ((stop)) all day, but he exhibits theory by stating “You’re stuck in a cycle, a repeating pattern.” Keep it up, baby! ((?????)) / When Five Pebbles leaves his place of comfort to get cancer he knows he may Die. And yet, for an iterator who can easily create lives with time, a life becomes a mere store of value. ((OK?)) A tax that can be paid for, much as a rich man feels any law with a fine is a price. ((Fine)) We think of Five Pebbles as reckless, but he is simply a powerful robot ((why are we saying this)) of a more privileged variety. The lifekind. ((who)) Perchance.
