No matter how bnha ends, I'm grateful that I became invested because it brought me joy, and it gifted me the euphoric experience of getting to know one of my favorite characters ever: Touya Todoroki, Dabi. I will always love him, and he will always have a special place in my heart. Nothing can change that or take that away from me. Shouto, too. The soba brothers are eternal to me.

It's so typical of me to be drawn to the mysterious, cold, brooding characters, haha. Shouto and Dabi immediately captured my attention when I first watched/read bnha with @fox-conscious. I took a break from following the series for a few years until November 2020, when I casually logged into Tumblr after months of not checking and saw chapter 290 Dabi's Dance leaks. It must have been fate. Suddenly, I was fully immersed in the manga again, excited that the obvious familial connection between my two favorites was officially confirmed. This reveal reignited my excitement and gave me something to focus on and look forward to during a challenging first semester in grad school, when I was on the cusp of realizing I needed professional help for my eating disorder.

To deal with the stress and have fun, I turned to reading and writing meta, and trying to make friends to share the experience with. That's the most important thing that has come from following this series... I've met so many incredible people who mean a lot to me:

@haleigh-sloth has become a really dear and close friend of mine. We met because of this manga and bonded over crepes, breakfast foods, pasta or ramen dinners, shopping at the mall, swimming in the river, walking her dogs, sleepovers, traveling, and road trips because of our shared love of the characters and story. We are basically the same person and constantly say the same things at the same time. Through the ups and downs of school, work, moving, and even now, we've always had each other's backs and shared countless moments of laughter and ugly cackling because we can't take shit seriously, ever. She's one of my best friends for life and I can't imagine NOT having her around!

@todomitoukei was one of the first friends I made in this fandom. I can always count on her to make the funniest jokes I've ever heard, especially during a completely serious conversation, and I'm astounded how smart, quick-witted, and talented she is. Truly an inspiration. I always look forward to seeing notifications that she messaged me because she brightens my day <3

I've had the great pleasure of meeting and hugging @hamliet TWICE! She has a generous heart and an inviting, calm aura. Her kindness and intelligence are remarkable. I genuinely enjoy discussing all sorts of topics with her, both silly and serious: life, hopes and dreams, fears and daily struggles, funny memes, reading and writing. I also love seeing her pet photos and can't wait to meet them in the future.

@transhawks is truly my most insane friend, and I say that lovingly and in the most ironic way because he's level-headed, creative, articulate, and self-aware. I'm always learning from him. I can talk to him for hours and never run out of things to say, and I always look forward to his insightful commentary about anything and everything.

And of course, I'm grateful for all the discord shenanigans with my friends: watching the anime together, voice calls, memes, sharing ideas, etc. @chocolate-biscuit who always pops into the chat with funny one-liners that leave me cackling for days when they flash in my head randomly, @bootlickerhawks who is the bestest horse person ever and I get excited to see on my dash, @helga-grinduil who is the saltiest and funniest person on this hellsite and also happens to make the best bnhaedits in this entire fandom, @jecook who is one of the sweetest people I've ever met and can't wait to read fix-it fics from, @mettywiththenotes who sends cute dog pictures and makes the most hilarious memes. Together we are all unhinged, and I love it. Despite living in different time zones, different counties, we've all create a fun space to cohabitate, and I think that's really cool and beautiful.

Hmm. Looks like the real treasure was the friends I made along the way, and the shared trauma of having our favorite characters mishandled by their creator was worth it. Can't wait to keep writing fics, making memes, and making new friends like @shortstrawberryshake because of this manga. And, I can't wait to keep loving Touya and Shouto Todoroki, of course <3

There's...

Hayate Sakagami - His quirk is Emotions, he can feel emotions of others as well as emit his own emotions onto others. The stronger the emotion, the stronger the effect is. He's a pretty chill, sweet guy. Attends UA as a second year General student.

Tamami - Her quirk is Diamond Flash (Crystal Flash, couldn't decide which one I like more). She can crystallize herself, other people, organic and inorganic material. She can also create crystals and shape them however she please such as projectiles and shields. She's an open-minded individual, pretty shy sometimes and overall friendly. She's an idol and gamer.

Hinata Mochizuki - Her quirk is Sunbeam. She literally becomes a ray of sunshine and after some training, can shoot rays of light. Her quirk is reflective of her personality. She is a ray of sunshine. She's a freshman in the Hero Course at Shiketsu High.

Letitia 'Tia' Aurya - Her quirk is Aura Vision which allows her to see the colors of auras. Each person has a color significant to them and she can see the color change if the person does. She wears special lenses because her quirk will click on almost instantly. Has better control now. She's not one to bring attention to herself, quiet but she is to socialize whenever she has the energy for it.

Hikage Shirorei - Their quirk is Shadow Drain. They can take out black and dark colors (that are close to black) from anything they touch except living things. They can put the black back from where it came from. Mysterious as they may come off, they're a warm-hearted person and likes to make people smile. They're the owner of a clothing store in one of Tokyo's malls.

There's also Miyako Amano, a character I mostly write for my Miruko fics where she likes to tease Miruko from time to time. So far, she has made two separate appearances. Her quirk is Fox, which... well... she has the characteristics of a fox. Thought it would go nicely against Miruko, whose quirk is Rabbit.

Other than those OCs for fanfics, I have original characters for my original stories.

The girls of Class 7-E sat in the lobby of the girls' dormitory.

"I'm bored."

Rita groaned as she stared at the clock.

"How about we go to the mall?"

Amber suggested the idea to her classmates.

"Sure."

"Yes."

"Let's do it."

"Yeah!"

"Great idea."

The girls went to the mall. Rita and Rasha were in the jewelery store. Amber and Katelyn got some ice cream at the food court. Sabrina and Lindsey were in the arcade. The girls from Class 1-E were also at the mall. Rina saw Lindsey and Sabrina in the arcade and decided to follow them with Glida following behind her.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't my greatest rival, Lindsey Bolton and her annoying friend Sabrina Vulpe."

"Hello, cheaters, how are you?"

Lindsey and Sabrina turned around to see Rina and Glida behind them.

"Ugh, what do you want Rina?"

"And we're not rivals."

"Of course we are!"

"You humiliated me at the competition earlier in the year, and no one makes a fool out of the Tsumibito clan!"

"*sigh* Seriously, you're still angry over that?"

"How are those little annoying rats doing?"

The four of them competed to see who could grab the most points of the games. In the end, Lindsey and Sabrina won 10, 000 tickets, while Rina and Glida only had 500 tickets.

"Ugh, you may have won this time, but I'll beat you one day, Lindsey!"

"See you later, fox girl!"

Rina and Glida left the arcade. Lindsey and Sabrina began buying stuff with their tickets. Rita had found a beautiful jewelry set and grabbed it.

"Hey loser, what's you got there?"

Emma stood behind Rita with a smirk on her face.

"Something that I'll buy for myself."

"Ugh, you're so boring!"

"Whatever."

"Hello little kitty cat!"

"No tonight, Mirage, I have no interest in your mind games!"

"You better put those down if you now what's good for you."

"Buzz off, we're just getting something for ourselves!"

As soon as Mirage started screaming, Rita snapped her fingers, and her and Rasha looked like they were hurt. The guard came in and ignored Mirage and went towards Rita and Rasha.

"You two alright?"

"Those two attacked us!"

"Liars!"

"We didn't do anything!"

They checked the footage, and it was manipulated by Rita to make it look like Mirage and Emma attacked them for the jewelery.

"Someone escort those two out of my shop!"

The security guard dragged them away, and they were kicked out of the jewelery shop.

"They're the thieves!"

"We didn't do anything, we swear!"

Rita and Rasha paid for their stuff. In the food court, Stella and Nebula noticed that Katelyn was there and decided to get revenge on her for beating them in the competition.

"Hello cheater!"

"Yeah, hi weakling!"

"What do you two want?"

"You're such a coward. There’s no way that you should've beaten us, you and your brother were supposed to lose!"

"Cry me a river crybaby."

"Shut up, you little brat!"

Nebula punched Katelyn in the face. Stella did the same, and they cornered her against the wall.

"Looks like there's no one to help you!'

"Payback time!"

"Ahem."

Behind them stood Amber surrounded by a flaming aura and red glowing eyes.

"Unless you two don't want to get burn, back off now!"

The two girls started laughing at Amber.

"Ooh, fire lady is mad!"

"What are you gonna do, set us on fire-"

Amber set the girls hair on fire and they both ran away.

Everyone met up at the food court.

"What happened to you guys?"

Lindsey stared at her injured friends.

"I almost got beat up by Stella and Nebula until Amber showed up."

They headed back to the dorms, and Rina was complaining to her big brother Yusuke.

"Tronic made me look like a fool again!"
