thinking about all the ironic ufo home decor mulder has and i want to die. who got him those? was it him? did he stand in front of them at the store and think about being spooky mulder and decided: well, why not? when exactly did he start smiling at his being the butt of the joke? if another person gave him those did they love him? was it out of respect, amusement shared between friends or lovers? was it someone who knew the immensity of his pain and saw that ufo fish tank decor and bought it for him, not because they wanted to tease him, but because they wanted to say: i see you and i know you. this is your life. here is this gift for your fish and i hope you smile every time you feed them because i love you and you’re no joke to me. or was it a cruel secret santa joke? did he unwrap it and laugh amusedly while feeling like that twelve year old boy again, isolated, a unit of his own?

Last night out of the blue I thought to myself "What if I took a picture of somewhere on my property and drew a bunch of cartoon characters in all different types of art styles inspired by famous animation studios to make it look like toons existed in our world.
And. Yeah. I did just that. I could've drawn more animals in more styles but I got too tired lmao. So there's dogs, cats, foxes, squirrels, a fawn, a raccoon, a rabbit, a coyote, a mountain lion and a black bear.
