I saw a Maverick on the road for the first time today and immediately thought of you - and that is an incredibly reasonably-sized truck! So glad someone's practicing ethical truck breeding again.

Honestly the Hybrid Maverick has been amazing to own. Besides the fact that around town I'm getting better than twice the mileage than my old compact hatchback, it's just so useful to have a small truck bed.

My wife and I take a couple trips to the Northwoods every year, as well as a cabin weekend with friends (where we record The Meatgrinder), and a few convention trips... and we used to have to jam pack our old Versa to fit everything we'd bring on trips like that -- including playing tetris that would sometimes take me hours.

The truck? Not so much. And because it's so low, I can just reach over the sides and move stuff around instead of wholly unloading things to make space.

I've only seen a handful of other Mavericks on the road (like maybe six or seven?) - but I think that'll change as Ford can make more of them.

Honestly, it's the exact right amount of truck for most people. I hope it catches on.
