💚 Soldier Boy maybe contemplates leaving Sam in their hands, but at the end he doesn't, because Sam is attached to him, he says he'll stay with him, go with him, because back at home he's his older brother. And really, soldier has nothing better to do. so he sticks around with Sammy and The Boys. 

💚 Sammy is immediately liked by Kimiko, he quickly learns her sign language so they can talk, and she likes him for that, she even starts to consider him her friend. 

💚 Meanwhile Soldier Boy isn't very happy that Sammy is not spending as much time with him as he said he would. He glares at the woman everytime she walks by and he aggressively smokes 6 joints in a day, stinking up the place with the smell of weed and whatever drug he has rolled in there.

💚 Hughie likes Sammy too. appreciates his energy and knowledge. he's fun to talk to and not as aggressive as some of the rest *ahem* Butcher *ahem*. Hughie quickly asks him to tag along when he goes on errands, and has to be reminded to not yap about anything and everything to Sammy, after all, they weren't totally sure if Sam wasn't a cop or a secret agent. even tho no one believes he is, Butcher does, and whatever Butcher says, goes. 

💚 Soldier Boy grumbles everytime Hughie aks Sammy if he'd like to tag along to go collect a package, so he turns to Annie and complains, “Tell your fucking twink to stop dragging Sammy with him everywhere he goes, he'll get him killed!”

💚 Soldier Boy also just broods around, he would harass them for his own sick pleasure but he had to behave if he wanted them to help his new little friend, Sammy, so he stays put, glares at them, insults them to get on their nerves, and tries to pry as much information out of Sammy about his brother, Dean, as possible. 

💚 Soldier Boy would also see red if anyone flirts w his boy. Frenchie is pretty touchy, his love language is physical contact, he's kind, he's funny and he's smart. Men and women like him. and Frenchie happened to be a bit of a sucker for broad shoulders and puppy eyes. Oh, he liked Sam the second he saw him. He loved his little mole, his sharp nose, his sad eyes, soft hair and big, giant body of his. He was gorgeous. 

💚 and so when he notices that Sammy was stressed and in need of some relief, he offers to smoke with him, Sammy at first declines in a polite manner, but then at some point he agrees, because at this point, he has nothing to lose and he hasn't slept properly in 3 days. So he sits down next to Frenchie and they take turns smoking a joint. Frenchie watches the man’s shoulders sag, he watches him start to loosen up a bit, then he starts to whine and mumble all sorts of nonsense, he giggles and paws at Frenchie. And before their lips meet Soldier Boy barges in and hauls Sam over his shoulder, throws some homophobic slurs towards Frenchie and leaves. and Frenchie shouts behind him, “You're only calling me that because you're mad you want to fuck him too!”

💚 And Ohhh when Butcher realises Sammy is a smartypants and can manage just fine on his own in a fight? He quickly tries to convert him to the mission, tries to get him involved in their plans. Butcher realises how valuable he could be when he can hack security cameras, can shoot whatever firearm you give him and is well read and strong and pretty and smart and sooo smart and–

💚 MM will also like Sammy. he likes his big brain and resourcefulness. I just didn't go into super detail because MM has a history with Soldier Boy and will try to kill him at any given chance. His storyline with Soldier Boy hurt me a lot and I feel horrible for what happened to his family at the hands of Soldier Boy, a racist piece of shit. MM is the only one really trying to convince Sam to leave Soldier Boy, that he's a monster, and the angst of it all, ohhh it hurts!!! it hurts!!!!!

Kinger

Imagine lost your partners TWICE. Lolololol loser/J

Everything seems to occur in slow motion from Kinger's point of view, a heart he once had is somehow beating against his body. He prays to any god on this earth, be it real or not, or even Caine maybe, that this nightmare isn't happening again to him. Please, everyone, but not you.

Kinger tries to do everything so his lover don't reach the great peak of their insanity, even though he's not very good at it, knowing his personality. But trust me when I said, he tried. Who cares if he will get all glitched for touching your form, he needs you.

He never thought he would live another nightmare inside a nightmare. And in seconds that felt like painful hours to Kinger, here "you" are, a noisy form covered in eyes that flash in different colors. Your skin (if we can call it skin) moves abruptly as if it were a bag full of enraged cats. And, god, how he wished it was him instead.

Things are resolved by the talking human jaw, and yet the silence in Kinger's little pillow fort is no longer comforting as it once was. Silence now makes the small chess piece itch in agony. Silence that could be enjoyed with your presence, with holding your hand or dancing with you, and chat about random stuff he and you knows. The feeling of missing someone is familiar to him, and yet, it hits him in ways that his years in this circus haven't hit him.

Caine

While Kinger tries to do everything, Caine actually does anything to try saving your corrupted mind, and the lack of power in this situation leaves the digital being in panic. A simple snap of the fingers is not enough, and this information makes him tremble in ways he never thought he would tremble before for a simple human.

You aren't just any character, you are his favorite, the lil' buddy he spoils every hour and that always push a giggle from him. You were his very own star. The show could continue the same without you, Caine was sure of it, but could he? Without a character as entertaining as you in action?

"Of course I can fix them, I am Caine!" It's a phrase that was repeated several times in the presenter's programming, But with every grunt coming from the thing that once was you, it's just a reminder to Caine that he did a horrible job trying to take care of you. There were other characters that were abstracted of course, but... You were special to him. His favorite star. His star.

Caine even feels hesitant to put you in the hole of other characters who were abstract before. He preferred to keep you in a cage away from other people's contact, with no one hurting you and no one hurting you.

He knows, he knows the painful truth that you cannot be considered a sapient being, but even though you are a trace of what you once were, Caine doesn't have the courage to lose you forever.

With the other characters, Caine will act normally, with his loud and lively personality. Only if they analyze Caine close enough, the characters would notice something wrong with him.

And then, sometimes, he just stares at you in the cage. Caine ponders if he should admit the lost of his favorite star, it would be easier, but the pride in his chest screams that there must be some way that he could actually save you from...this.

Ragatha

Somehow, the scene is all silent for her. Ragatha stares at you as if the impossible itself is happening in front of her.

Ragatha holds your hands about to disappear, she caressed what was left from your shoulders, she hurriedly whispers words that would normally calm you down, but nothing can save you from the fate of your sanity, just leaving her with the pain of being glitched.

Of course, she had her other friends like Pomni, but lost you?!

Ragatha thinks she saw everything during her new experience in the digital circus, but something common like losing someone so important was the end of the line for her. You were her darling, her sunshine and her little everything even.

Everything she did sounded slightly more boring and boring without your presence, and Ragatha could do nothing about it. She continues (at least tries) to remain strong after that, still trying to complete the little adventures that Caine gives to the participants. But Ragatha's slow pace and lack of smiles was very noticeable.

The weight on Ragatha's chest is too much, losing someone so sweet and perfect for her in such a horrible way is too much. And the worst part is that Ragatha believes that she could have done something to save you, she could have been with you more often so that your mind didn't fall apart like this. But now, she can do nothing but mourn.

Okay, so— I don’t have a very defined going out aesthetic but I do switch between these preset outfits from time to time (a. A nice soft artsy girl look with baggy pants and a green cardigan, b. baggy cargo pants with all the pockets you could ever need and more and a size large shirt I hand-cropped) very loose, I like using mismatched socks and worn black shoes. I always come with my backpack strapped to my back and old friendship bracelets around my wrist.

You’ve been frowning…” Use a cheesy pick up line or two, laugh it off.

Text them at random showing them things I find (“look at this bottle cap. think I’m gonna keep it”) or am doing (“tell me the correct ways to use a power drill or I might blow a hole into my walls”), slide in an ask to hang out again. Gift them a pink camellia (roses are probably too forward) every once and while because men also deserve flowers. Try to get close but back off if I see even an inch on uncomfortability, hugs, tugs, silly hand reading, light touches here and there. Honestly I think I would snap and ask them out first.

He's just about to put it in correctly this time, but he pauses. You had better not breathe a word of this to his brothers, MC. He makes you take a vow of silence. You agree, giggling the whole time, which finally makes him laugh, too.

Mammon

He's surprised he missed, but he tells you not to move so he can try again. He gets real serious, concentrating on doing it right. You just bust out laughing because it's so funny. First he misses altogether and instead of getting embarrassed, he's just like wait let me try again.

Once you start laughing, he blushes and sits back, folding his arms indignantly. C'mon! Stop laughin' at him, MC! You're going to have to kiss him a bunch and hug him, too, because now he's just offended.

Eventually starts laughing with you, especially if you tell him how cute it is that he was trying so hard to get it right. Okay, well, it is pretty funny, isn't it? And he loves the way your eyes sparkle when you're laughing.

Loves it so much that he forgets his embarrassment and starts kissing you for real, already getting back into the swing of things. Actually jokes about it with you later, an inside joke that makes the two of you snicker while everybody else is just confused.

Leviathan

Might not even realize he's missed at first. Rubbing up against you instead feels so good, he's unaware of the fact that your hole's still empty. Realizes what he's done immediately. Blushes, but tries to act cool about it. Forgive him, MC. Let him adjust a little… if you laugh, he might be offended at first, but then he sees that it is actually pretty funny and starts to laugh with you.

In fact, at that point, he might even stop everything altogether and have a ridiculous conversation with you about positioning. Now that the tension is broken and you guys are obviously able to laugh about these things, the next step is to discuss what you both enjoy.

He will still get embarrassed and blushy if he tells you how much he would enjoy it if you put on some cat ears and a kitty bell. Blushes even more when he tells you he'd like to put those things on for you. Try not to tease him too much, but you can't help but smile at how cute it is.

You may have to distract him if you want things to pick up where they left off. It won't take much, though. If he starts talking about logistics again, just cut him off with a kiss. Then guide him into that empty hole yourself. You taking charge like that will make him forget everything he had been thinking about.

Asmodeus

Laughs right away. In fact, he starts laughing before you've even realized what's happening. Once you do, you're laughing, too. Not just because it's funny but because Asmo's laughter is infectious.

This made stealing together a fun and exciting adventure for both of them, even if at times it could also be a bit intense and competitive.

Both are competitive as hell, They're a couple of teens and one of them is a literal killer. Their competitive instincts often led to them teasing each other to an extreme, pushing each other's buttons until all that was left was pure annoyance and anger. In these moments, they would often come very close to physical violence, but neither one wanted to actually hurt the other. Making Toby in a sour mood, He would mumble slurs against his breath whenever [M/N] "wins"

They found themselves in the forest, having just pulled off a daring heist and hiding out in some gross abandoned building. Their nerves were on end and they were both feeling the adrenaline from the excitement of the robbery. As they argued over who had been more responsible for the successful heist, they began teasing each other relentlessly, their words becoming more and more heated.

In the heat of the moment In the heat of the moment, the tension between Him and Toby reached a fever pitch. The air was thick with anticipation, and the dim light filtering through the broken windows cast eerie shadows on the decaying walls. Toby's heart raced as he glanced over at him, Toby's eyes narrowing as he took in the sight of him. The two thieves were standing inches apart, taunting each other, their eyes locked in a battle of wills. They felt the anger and resentment building between them, but neither one could seem to let go.

[M/N] 's breath tickled his skin, his words sending shivers down his spine. Toby could feel the heat radiating off his body, and he couldn't help but be drawn to him despite their rivalry. His mind raced as he tried to think of a clever retort, but before he could utter a word, [M/N]'s lips crashed into his. The force of the kiss left him breathless, him lips tingling with delight. Toby' S hands instinctively gripped [M/N] 's waist , pulling him closer to him as he kissed him back with fervor.

As their tongues danced together, exploring the depths of each other's mouths, [M/N] felt a fire ignite within him. You put your hand on his chest, pushing him slightly. “Let's sit down, we need to talk”, Sharky looks at you confused “Is everything okay y/n?” You ignore him and walk and sit on the couch, this is gonna be harder than you thought.

Okay, honest question, who is Yotsuba?

OH HO HO ANON I AM ALL TOO HAPPY TO EXPLAIN :3

Yotsuba is a character from the greatest manga ever made, Yotsuba&!(or Yotsuba to! it translates weird, most fans just call it Yotsuba) which is a comedy slice-of-life manga about Yotsuba Koiwai, a five year old girl, and her very strange yet wholesome family and friends!

It's from the same mangaka who gave us Azumanga Daioh, though while that manga is told in a four-panel comic style and doesn't really have much of an overarching plot, Youtsuba is done in a traditional manga style and despite also being very episodic there is a bit of a throughline surrounding Youtsuba getting settled into the neighborhood she just moved to, growing up, and eventually, in the later chapters, getting ready to go to school for the first time. Also, there are storylines that take place over multiple chapters as well! Despite the fact that the manga has been releasing since 2003, the chapters are pretty sporadic and the comic has only really covered about one year of the character's lives, but it never really feels slow or aimless. It feels almost...timeless? I guess. It's really nice.

Anyway, the manga is legit one of the most wholesome, funny, heartwarming things I have ever read. Kiyohiko Azuma is a fucking MASTER of comedy(you may have seen screencaps from a Sailor Moon fan comic he made going around on tumblr in which Jupiter accidentally sends Venus shooting across a pool that made me laugh so hard I cried) and he balances it well with lots of slow moments with GORGEOUS artwork where you can really take in the scenery and all of it is seeped in a wonderful nostalgia for childhood that legit makes me super emotional.

I don't think the manga has ever really taken off in terms of popularity, at least not to the degree that it deserves imo, which is likely in part due to the creator being firm about it never getting an anime adaptation and the sporadic release schedule, but it's far from unknown. There's been an official(I think??) score released and plenty of figurines and merch. It's also birthed a lot of memes, and it def has the same issue as One Piece where if you read it and love it you will turn into a walking billboard and try to drag your friends and family in with you. It's just THAT good!

You may have seen art of or people cosplaying Danbo, a "robot" made of old cardboard boxes that Yotsuba adores (Totally a real robot btw, def doesn't have a middle schooler shoved inside there, that would be silly wdym /s)

And you've also probably seen this going around tumblr before (that's Fūka she's my favorite cringe fail daughter I would literally die for her).

Also, I would be doing a disservice if I didn't mention Yanda, who is a friend of Yotsuba's dad and also Yotsuba's nemesis. He's a loser who constantly gets dunked on by a toddler it's fucking hilarious.

But yeah it really is just like, a manga that feels like a hug, or a warm blanket or something, it's so comforting and funny and fantastic, I find myself re-reading it any time life gets to be too hard just bcs it's that good at distracting me and reminding me that live is worth living.
